Our Goddard School Teachers

Mrs. Meagan is our On-Site Operator, she started March 2023. She has her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and has worked in the childcare industry since 2019. When she is not at work she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Lindsey is the Education Director and has been at the Hardin Valley location as a director since June of 2023. She has worked with Goddard since 2017 and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She enjoys hiking on the weekends and her favorite part of working as a director is getting to know all the kids and greeting them as they come in each day!

Rachel brings more than 24 years of experience in early childhood education to her role as Director at The Goddard School. Since joining the school in 2014, she has had the opportunity to work with children of all ages, including infants, preschoolers, and Pre-K students. Her passion for creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment and supporting both children and teachers has made her transition into the Director role a natural next step. Rachel earned her Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education and Development from Pellissippi State Community College and her Bachelor’s degree in Early Care and Education from East Tennessee State University. She is dedicated to lifelong learning and believes that building strong relationships with children, families, and educators is the foundation of a successful school community. Mr. Collin is great resource for us here at the Goddard School. He helps in classrooms whenever needed, maintenance, and is our closing administrator up in the office.

Paige is the lead Pre-K teacher in our Seahorse class. She has been working in Early Childhood Education since 2010 and she has been with us since 2016. Paige has her Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education from Pellissippi State Community College. When she is not at work, Paige enjoys reading, baking and creating art!

Kayla is our Lead Teacher in the Stingrays/Pre-Kindergarten classroom. She has been working in the field of early childhood education since August 2007 and she has been with us since 2012. Kayla has her Bachelor of Human Services and Minor in Early Childhood Education from East Tennessee State University. When Kayla is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Ola is one of our Stingrays/Pre-Kindergarten teachers. She has been working in the field of early childhood education since 1994 and she has been with us since 2014. Ola has her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology and when she is not teaching she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and relaxing near a beach!

Hillari is our Lead Teacher in the Starfish/Preschool class. She has worked in the field of early childhood since 2007. Hillari has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and has been with us since 2011. When she isn't spending time with her Starfish kids, she enjoys being outside and spending time with her dogs!

Charlie is our Lead Teacher in our Preschool 1 (Clownfish) classroom. She has been in the field of early childhood education since 1997. Charlie has her Child Development Associate (CDA) and has been with us at Goddard since 2017. When she is not at work, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Miss Jenna-Grace (or Miss Jay) has a ton of experience in childcare. She works alongside Mrs. Charlie in our Clownfish class as the Assistant Teacher. She has jumped right into it, and we appreciate her willingness to be a team player as well as learn and grow here at our school!

Miss Dom comes to us with prior Goddard experience from Nevada. She has lived in a few other places but has landed on Knoxville as home base! She loves working with our bridge class and approaches learning with a fun and kind demeanor. We are so excited to see what she brings to our school!

Kristian is the Lead Teacher in our Two's (Dolphins) classroom. She has been working in the field of early childhood education since 2012 and has been with us at Goddard since 2016. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, playing video games and watching movies!

Candace is one of our Dolphin/ Twos teachers. She has been a member of our team since 2020 and has worked in all age groups, but twos are her favorite. Candace enjoys reading and hanging out with her kids when she is not with her babies at work!

Melinda (MeMe) is the Lead Teacher in our Twos (Jellyfish) classroom. She has been working at Goddard since 2016 and has a Child Development Associates (CDA). Melinda has also been enrolled in the LENA specialization course which focuses on child/teacher interactions. Melinda is doing big things with our toddlers, and we appreciate the effort and hard work she puts in every day to make her lesson plans interesting and fun!

Lilly is the closing teacher in our Twos (Jellyfish) classroom! She is a Junior at the University of Tennessee majoring in Audiology and Speech Pathology. She is working towards a career as a Pediatric SLP. Lilly will be going to school during the day and then be here during the afternoon to close the classroom!

Serenity is our Lead Teacher in our Toddler 3 (Sea Turtles) class. She has a little over 2 years of experience in a childcare setting but joined our team in May of 2025. Fun facts about Serenity! In her free time she loves to practice her acting skills and wants to be a successful actress one day. She also loves karaoke and dancing which are skills she brings into the classroom as well!

Miss Jeanine is the Assistant Teacher in our Sea Turtles class. She is one of our newer teachers, but she has jumped right into the role. She loves the organized chaos of the toddler room, and we are so happy to have her!

Ashlyn is the Lead Teacher in the Toddler 2 (Squids) class. She has been working in childcare since 2022 and has always had a heart for supporting and connecting with children and their families. She is currently pursuing a degree in Human Development and Family Science at the University of Tennessee where she can continue to grow her knowledge in child and family studies. Outside of work and school, Ashlyn enjoys spending time with family, catching up on her favorite TV shows, and having fun by bringing laughter into everyday moments with friends!

Kayleigh is the Assistant Teacher in our Toddler 2 classroom (Squids). She is originally from Maryland and has a degree in Psychology. Outside of work, she is a proud stepmom and dog mom who loves to travel, sing, and listen to all kinds of music. Mrs. Kayleigh is passionate about creating a fun, caring, and supportive environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive!

Mrs. Brooke is our Lead teacher in the Belugas classroom, she joined our team in 2022 and is such an asset. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and ice skating.

Cameron is the Assistant Teacher in our Toddler 1 (Belugas) class! She is very excited to be a part of the Goddard Team! Cameron loves working with children and helping create a fun, safe, and caring environment. When she's not at work, Cameron enjoys spending time outdoors, hanging out with friends, and making memories with her dog.

Sarah has been at the Goddard School for 5 Years, and with the infants for 3 of those years. She has a 4 year-old and a 3-year-old that also attends the school. When she's not doing activities with her kids, she loves to do nails and paint banners!

Kayla is the assistant teacher in our Guppies classroom. She has been with us since August of 2023, and she has thrived working with the infants. the babies love her calm and kind energy. When she's not at work she enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband.

Miss Daja is our Lead Teacher in the Manatees classroom. She joined our team with lots of childcare experience but with a specialty in infant care. When she isn't at work she is hanging out with her two rambunctious kiddos at home! She has been a wonderful addition to our team.

Miss Beth is one of our many resource teachers. She was referred to us from one of our families with experience as a nanny and babysitter. She absolutely loves children of all ages and is thriving in every classroom she visits.

Zoe is one of our resource teachers that has experience in all of our classrooms. She has been with us since July of 2023 and is currently pursuing a degree at the University of Tennessee. Zoe helps out wherever she is needed and brings a loving energy to any classroom she is in. When she is not at work she enjoys going on trips, working out, and spending time with her friends.

Kaylan is one of our many resource teachers who comes with 7 years of prior Goddard experience. She works part time and handles our lunch duties along with any breaks. She is a wonderful asset in any class she visits. When she is not at work, she likes watching tv and spending time with her family.

Brianna is our Squids/ Young Toddler assistant teacher. She came to us in January 2024 specifically looking for a position with our young toddlers. She enjoys our younger kids but is willing to help anywhere as needed. We are happy to have Miss Brianna on our team.

Miss Ren is the assistant teacher our Preschool 2 (Starfish) classroom. She joined us in 2026 with a love for children and the drive to learn. She is hoping to work towards getting an early childhood education degree some day! When she is not teaching, Ren likes to play video games and hang out with friends!

Jacky has been working with children since 2021 as a swim instructor and coach in Arizona, Idaho, and Washington. She teaches Spanish as well. When Jacky is not at work she likes to read, play video games, and swim at the pool!
