Our Goddard School Teachers

LaShundrea earned her bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee State University and later earned her master's degree from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management. She is married to Ronnie Partee and they have 2 daughters, Alexandrea and Aubriana. LaShundrea has owned the Goddard School Cordova since 2017. During this time, she has grown to understand the importance of early childhood education and is committed to providing an exceptional learning experience to children ages 0 to 5 years old who live in the Cordova and surrounding communities. LaShundrea Partee stated,"I never thought it was possible to love every family and child so individually, but each is unique and requires individualization during every interaction.". LaShundrea is looking forward to continuing the mission of the Goddard School Cordova which is to "Provide parents with peace of mind when dropping off their child(ren) and returning them better than when they dropped off."

Mrs. Antoinette is originally from Tampa, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of South Florida. She then earned a master's degree from Ashford University in Child development. Ms. Antoinette has 13 years of experience working with children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. She enjoys, travelling and spending time with her family. Why do I love working with children? "I love helping children grow and meet their growth milestones from infancy and beyond."

Amanda holds a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and Family Studies and has been working with children ages 6 weeks to 13 years old since 2013. She passionate about creating an engaging learning environment where children can reach and exceed their milestones. Ms. Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her hobbies and interests are golfing, cooking and talking. Her favorite quote is from Horton Hears A Who and it says "People are people no matter how small." He is reminding us to always treat oters with kindness.

Ms. Deanna holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and has been working with children ages 6 weeks to 18 years since 2006. She is passionate about creating a safe and nurturing learning environment where children can grow into confident learners. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Deanna enjoys event planning and designing. She believes every child is unique. Ms. Deanna’s favorite book is “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” Her favorite quote is “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” ~ Malcolm X

Ms. VeLisa holds a B.A. in Business Management and an MBA in Accounting and Finance. She has been an administrator with The Goddard School – Cordova since 2017. Ms. VeLisa is dedicated to building strong relationships with families, earning parents’ trust, and ensuring that the administrative and business aspects of the school run as smoothly as possible. She enjoys reading, listening to audiobooks, and attending NBA and high school basketball games. Ms. VeLisa believes that every child is an integral part of our future and that the care, guidance, and education they receive today help shape the adults they will become tomorrow. Her favorite quote is, “What we teach children today will shape their tomorrow.” — Unknown

Ms. Dianne holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) and has been working with 6 weeks to 5 year old children since 2012. She is passionate about and dedicated to creating a developmentally age learning environment where children can play and express themselves. Ms. Dianne enjoys gardening and reading when outside the classroom. She believes every child is unique. Ms. Dianne’s favorite children’s book is “I Like Myself”, because she believe every individual is special. Her favorite quote is “Teaching is the Profession that creates and teaches all professions."

Ms. Kennadee holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and has been working with children ages 6 weeks to 11 years since 2019. She is dedicated to creating a nurturing and adventurous learning environment where children can express themselves. Ms. Kennadee enjoys working out and reading when not in the classroom. She believes every child is important. Ms. Kennadee’s favorite children’s book is “The Snowy Day”, because it highlights how important curiosity is needed in the world!

Ms. Alyssa has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Memphis. She has over 5 years of experience working with children ages 12 months to 3 years old. Her favorite things include relaxing, experiencing new things, listening to music and making crafts. "I love working with children because I enjoy loving on them and helping them grow."

Ms. Bindu holds a Bachelor of Commerce from India and has been working with children ages 6 weeks to 7 years since 2020. She is passionate about creating a supportive, engaging, and safe learning environment where children can grow, explore, and thrive. Outside the classroom, Ms. Bindu enjoys volunteering in her local community, traveling, and spending time with her family. Her favorite book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar because it reminds her of the incredible ways children grow and learn. She sees children develop new skills every day—just as the caterpillar transforms into a butterfly.

Ms. Crystal holds a High School Diploma from Midde College High School as well as the required training hours through Tennessee Child Care Online Training System (TCCOTS) and has been working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old since 2004. She is dedicated to creating a loving, growing learning environment where children can be inspired to develop throughout their world. Ms. Crystal enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with family when outside of the classroom. She believes every child is special in their own way. Ms. Crystal’s favorite children’s book is “Chicka Chicka Boo".

Michaela holds an English Language Arts degree from Talladega College and has 4 years of experience working with children ages 2-10. She enjoys listening to music, playing the clarinet, and watching movies. Michaela is passionate about working with children because she loves making a positive impact on their lives and helping them grow.

Ms. Syeda holds a Master's Degree in Geology and has been working with ages 12 months to 15 years old, since 2008. Ms. Syeda is passionate about creating a meaningful learning experiences that support curiosity, independence, and developmentally rich environment, where every child feels safe, confident, and excited to learn. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Syeda enjoys cooking, traveling, and reading books. She believes every child is unique, valuable, capable, and a wonder; and it is our job to nurture it. Ms. Syeda’s favorite book ”I Like Myself” because it celebrates confidence, individuality, and self-love. Her favorite quote is “The most complete gift of God is a life based on knowledge,” by Imam Ali (A.S.)

Ms. Jennifer holds Bachelor Degree of Science and has been working with children ages infant to school-age since 2015.. She is passionate about creating a special-memorable learning environment where children can thrive and have fun learning. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Jennifer enjoys doing puzzles, spending time with family, and friends. She believes every child is special in their own way. Ms. Jennifer’s favorite quote is "Students don't care how much you know until they know how much you care". ~John C. Maxwell

Ms. Diamond has a High School Diploma and has been working with children ages 3 to 8 years, since 2020. She is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing learning environment where children can grow, explore, feel confident, and thrive. Ms. Diamond enjoys reading outside of the classroom. She believes every child is unique, capable, and deserving. Ms. Diamond favorite book is Green Eggs and Ham, because it teaches children the importance of trying new things. Ms. Diamond favorite quote is “Every child is a different kind of flower and all together they make this world a beautiful garden.”

Bria Broome holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) and has been working with children from Infant to Twos since 2021. She is passionate about creating a wonderful learning environment, where children can thrive. Ms. Bria enjoys reading and crocheting when she is outside of the classroom. Ms. Autumn holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and has been working with children ages 6 weeks, -12 years, since 2019. She is passionate about creating a safe, and creative learning environment where children feel free to explore things. She believes each child is exceptional. Ms. Autumn favorite children's book is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Ms. Kiara holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and has been working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old since 2017. She is dedicated to creating a fun, safe learning environment where children can grow. Ms. Kiara enjoys reading and scrapbooking when she's not in the classrrom. She believes every child is a blessing. Her favorite book is “Llama Llama Wears Red Pajamas.” It reminds children that parents always return and love them even when they are busy.

Ms. Tajauna (Ms. T.) holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Science with a concentration in Child Development & Elementary ED (K-2nd grade) and has been working with children for 9 years since 2017. She is passionate about creating a safe, loving, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where children can learn, grow, explore, and reach their full potential. Ms. T enjoys spending time with family, traveling, shopping, and creating memories outside of the classroom. She believes every child is unique, capable, and deserving of an opportunity to learn and succeed. Ms. Thais attended the University of Memphis, majoring in Psychology and Early Childhood Development. She has been working with children ages 0 to 12 yrs old since 1999. Ms. Thais is dedicated to creating a warm, secure, and free space for a learning environment where children can learn, grow, and develop. She enjoys crafting, reading, traveling, and spending time with family outside of the classroom. Ms. Thais believes every child is capable of learning and growing to whoever they want to be. Her favorite children’s book is “Goodnight Moon “, because it’s a sweet and thoughtful story about a peaceful way to rest and help others to rest.

Ms. Kyra holds a bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and has been working with children ages 2 to 12 years old since 2020. She is passionate about creating an inclusive, welcoming, and culturally diverse learning environment where children can learn, create, and explore. Ms. Kyra enjoys going to the park with her dog and running at Shelby Farms outside of the classroom. She believes every child is unique with their own talents and potential. Ms. Kyra’s favorite children’s book “Where the Wild Things Are”, because it fosters a sense of imagination all children encompass to help them process their emotions and feel in control of them.

Ms. Jailene holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science and is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been working with children ages 2 to 10 years since 2017. Ms. Jailene is passionate about creating a safe, strong, independent, and loving learning environment where all children feel welcomed and accepted. She encourages children to express themselves freely, help one another, and feel comfortable being themselves. Outside of the classroom, Jailene enjoys spending time with her 7-month-old son, going on walks, and grabbing Pho on the weekends. She believes every child is unique, capable, and deserving of love and respect. Ms. Jailene’s favorite children’s book is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle because it reminds her that every child grows and develops at their own pace, and that growth is something to celebrate.

Ms. Destiny holds a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Liberal Arts and has been working with children from ages 6 weeks to 3 years old since 2017. She is dedicated to creating a safe, and loving learning environment where children can thrive. Ms. Destiny enjoys crocheting and cooking when she is outside of the classroom. She believes every child is one-of-a-kind. Ms. Destiny’s favorite children’s book is "Junie B. Jones".

Ms. Brittney is currently working on her Child Development Associate (CDA) designation and has been working with children ages 12-36 months since 2024. She is passionate about creating a safe, loving, and engaging learning environment where children can explore, grow, and feel confident in themselves. Ms. Brittney enjoys reading and spending time with her family. She believes every child is special, capable, deserving love, respect, and the opportunity to learn and grow. Her favorite book is "I Love You Like No Otter" by Rose Rossner because it’s her daughter’s number one request.

Ms. Christiana is currently pursuing an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and has been working with children ages 6 weeks to 10 years old since 2021. She is passionate about creating a warm, nurturing, safe, and engaging learning environment. Ms. Christiana enjoys baking/making sweet treats and reading outside of the classroom. She believes every child is unique and capable of anything! Ms. Christiana’s favorite children’s book is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" because it is fun, engaging, and gives children an opportunity to explore growth and change in a simple and meaningful way.

Ms. Eva has a High School Diploma, and has been working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, since 2006. She is dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment where children can grow. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Eva enjoys reading and cooking . She believes every child is unique in their own way. Her favorite book is any “ Dr.Seuss “ book. Her favorite quote is “Be the reason a child feels safe, loved and excited to learn.”

Ms. Jovana has a high school diploma and has been working with children ages 2 weeks to 15 years; since 2021. She is dedicated to creating a safe learning environment where children can openly create. Ms. Jovana enjoys baking and creating art outside of the classroom. She believes every child is capable of reaching all milestones in different ways. Ms. Jovana's favorite children's book is Hair Love by Matthew A. Cherry because it embraces the true love of bouncy curly hair.

Ms. Mary holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Language and Translation and has been working with children ages 3 to 6 since 2017. She is dedicated to creating a loving, peaceful, and nurturing learning environment where children can grow academically and socially. With a deep respect for each child’s individuality, Ms. Mary believes that every child is a gift from GOD. Ms. Mary’s favorite children’s book is a book with Jesus stories.
