    We are Ashleigh and Gary Crosby, owners of The Goddard School in Collierville. Our experience with The Goddard School began as parents searching for the best in early childhood education for our daughter. When she began attending Goddard, we felt an immediate connection to the Goddard philosophy of fostering the love of learning while providing a safe, nurturing environment for children. Our love of family and desire to bring our same Goddard experience to other children and families helped us to realize that being Goddard School owners was a perfect next chapter for us. We are committed to providing the very best to our students and families and hope to have a chance to share that experience with you!

    I am from Oak Park, IL where I owned and operated a childcare facility for 21 years before relocating to Mississippi. I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and an associate's degree in Finance Management and Communications. I enjoy spending quality time with family, reading, bowling, taking road trips, and having great conversations with my parrot "Rocky". I have a big heart for children, and enjoy making a positive difference in their lives. I care for all children with love and acceptance.

    I am from Memphis, TN, but I currently live in Olive Branch, Mississippi. I went to the University of Mississippi and have a Bachelor's in Education. I have 10+ years of experience working with children in childcare. I have primarily taught three and four-year-olds. I am married to my childhood sweetheart. We have a Border Collie Lab named Bayley and one sweet little girl, Lillie. I love to read, play games, do crafts, spend time with my family, and teach kidslife at church. I enjoy being with children and seeing their faces light up because they have learned something new. It is an honor to work with children.

    I am originally from Huntsville, AL , but moved all around because my parents were in the Army. I graduated from the University of Alabama, and studied Elementary Education. I am currently a certified K-6 educator in Arkansas and Alabama. I have 6 years of experience teaching Elementary, at both public and private schools. I am excited about this new transition, and can't wait to be a part of The Goddard School. I am a true people person and love spending time with family and friends. I like to stay busy and have many hobbies: Piano, painting, cooking, video games, board games, & trivia night. My favorite thing to do is laugh! I enjoy seeing students grow, whether that be academically, socially, or emotionally. It is truly amazing to see how fast they grow in a year.

    Ms. Amber was born in Indianola, Mississippi, but raised in Memphis. She attended Houston High School, and later graduated from University of Memphis with her Bachelor's Degree in Child Development. Ms. Amber has been in child care for over 10 years, and she has a special love for small children, which has turned into a passion for teaching young learners. "I enjoy watching children grow and learn about the world around them. Working with children is rewarding and fulfilling."

    Ms. Andrea has been with The Goddard School in Collierville since 2014. She was born and raised in Bavaria, Germany and moved to the U.S. in 2006. She is a State Certified Educator, and received her BS in Education from the Professional Academy of Social Pedagogy in Bamberg, Germany. She also holds a Montessori certificate. Ms. Andrea has more than 25 years teaching experience and has taught infants and mixed age classes of 3-6 years old children. "Since I was a young girl growing up, I wanted to be a teacher. I love the interaction and seeing kids grow as future adults. Also, the impact I have on a child's early life always amazes me."

    Ms. Bincy is originally from India. There she was a teacher for 2 years before she and her husband moved to the USA. She lived in Chicago for some years before moving to Tennessee. During her past teaching experience, she had the opportunity to observe students of different ages both in groups and individually. "For me, teaching is an incredibly rewarding career! Teaching is a way of making a difference in the lives of others. It is shaping of minds and the shaping of the future."

    Ms. Brianna has been the Lead Teacher in our Infant classroom for over a year. She is from Memphis, TN and has 5 years’ experience in Early Childhood Education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Studies with a minor in Child Development from the University of Memphis. “What I enjoy about teaching is watching the child grow physically and mentally and develop into their own personality.”

    Ms. Cheryl has been with The Goddard School in Collierville since 2020. She has been teaching children of all ages for over 20 years. Teaching is in her heart and she enjoys knowing she makes a difference every day. “I enjoy daily adventures and getting to know the students. Every child is different and as educators we should find how children learn and teach them that way. I enjoy the fact I have a hand in teaching the future of tomorrow.”

    Ms. Christine is from Grand Junction, TN. She graduated from University of Phoenix with an Associate degree in Healthcare in 2012. Prior to joining The Goddard School in 2021, Ms. Christine owned and operated her own child care center, Christine's Angels, for 16 years. "My favorite thing to do is helping others. I enjoy teaching because it gives me a sense of purpose. I believe that I have been called to teach children so that they can be our future. Teaching is a joy."

    Preschool Lead Teacher
    Ms. Connie has been with The Goddard School in Collierville since 2019. She has a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management and earned her Master's Degree in Elementary Education in 2015. She has 20+ years in education alone and is particularly knowledgeable in European History and Civil War studies. She enjoys teaching students about civilizations they usually do not know about. “All children can learn at varying levels. Teachers should meet each child at his or her level to make a strong connection.”

    Ms. Emily has been with the Goddard School in Collierville since 2017. She is originally from Chattanooga, TN and received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Mississippi. She has taught various ages during her 15 years of experience and enjoys teaching and watching children grasp concepts for the first time. “Each child can bring such joy to others, and I love finding what makes each child happy and engaged.”

    Ms. Grace is from Springfield, IL and moved to TN when she was 18. She attended Union University from 2018 - 2021, and graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Since graduating from Union University, she has been working with children in nurseries, as a personal nanny, and as a preschool teacher. She has also taught gymnastics and is an accomplished guitarist and vocalist! "What I enjoy about teaching is the ability to have even the smallest positive effect on a child. Being able to make children smile and feel confident and secure is why I love being in the classroom. It is a blessing to be able to see children grow and be an active positive influence for them."

    Ms. Jasmine is originally from Memphis, and she graduated from Hutchison School. She attended University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she obtained a BA in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Studies. She has over six years' experience working with children and has also been involved in children outreach and mentoring programs. Most recently before joining Goddard, Ms. Jasmine taught Kindergarten at Vision Preparatory Charter School. "I love to see my students' smiling faces when I greet them, and I enjoy the fact that I am making a difference in their lives every day."

    Pre-K Lead Teacher
    Ms. Jothi first joined The Goddard School in Collierville in 2018. She is from India (Tamil Nadu) where she completed her Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She also earned her Master of Philosophy and Masters of Science in Mathematics. Prior to joining Goddard, she worked as a teacher for 2 years in India and then as a Math teacher and substitute teacher for another 2 years in the U.S. She has been a Lead Teacher in both our Toddler and Preschool programs at Goddard and is now teaching our Pre-K students. "I love the fun and play method of teaching in the classroom. I enjoy being with the children."

    Ms. Justus is originally from Collierville and currently attends Henderson State University majoring in Education and English. She started working with children at the age of 13 and has worked in other after school and summer camp programs for the last several years. "I love to be a part of a child's learning journey. Being able to impact people is so beautiful, and children are our future. Teaching is so incredible, and it is a blessing."

    Ms. Lisa joined The Goddard School in Collierville in 2014. She was born and raised in Ohio and received her Bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University. She has 30 years of experience in early childhood education working with various ages and also a Director. In addition to her current Lead Teacher role in our Pre-K program, she also serves as a Goddard Quality Assurance expert working with other teachers to ensure excellence in all of our classrooms. "I enjoy finding new ways to teach the basics. I enjoy watching children learn and have fun. I like to find creative and hands-on experiences for my class!"

    Ms. Madison has been with The Goddard School since 2018. She is from Memphis, TN and attended Lipscomb University where she spent a year in nursing school. While in school, she worked part time at a Montessori school, where she found her passion for teaching. Ms. Madison graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Family Studies in May 2018. She has many years of childcare experience including daycares, camp counseling, volunteering, babysitting, and teaching. "I love being able to see the light bulb go off for a child when they figure something out. I want to use positive reinforcement to help each child grow so that they look forward to winning each day. Because I had a poor experience in school as a child, I hope to be able to make a positive impact on each child and set them up for a better future and instill confidence at a young age."

    Ms. Patcharin has been with The Goddard School in Collierville since 2016 and has over 15 years of experience working with children. She originates from Thailand, where she received her Bachelor's degree and taught 2nd grade. In 2010, Ms. Patcharin moved to Maryland for a work study program as an au pair, then relocated to the Memphis area in 2014. While working in a licensed daycare center, she studied Early Childhood Education and received her degree in 2016. "The most rewarding aspect of teaching is seeing children accomplish something independently that we have been working towards in the classroom."

    Infant Lead Teacher
    Ms. Shaquanna is from Hollandale, MS, better known as The Delta. She attended Simmons High School and went on to graduate from Mississippi Delta Community College. While attending school, she became involved with many organizations and projects that catered to community residents and their children. After graduating from MDCC, she transferred to Delta State University to pursue a degree in the arts while working as a Lead Teacher at FUMC Day School. "My favorite part of teaching is watching and understanding the world through a child's eyes. Children simply follow what they feel and think. Their minds are like abstract paintings -- full of creativity and without limitations."

    Ms. Shrima joined The Goddard School in Collierville in 2020. She worked as a full time substitute providing support to every classroom in the school and serving as front office support staff before moving to her current role as Lead Teacher in our Toddler program. Ms. Shrima is from India where she attended the State Institute of Commerce Education and the University of Madras earning her Bachelor's degree in Commerce. She has many years experience working with children including teaching and tutoring. "I enjoy seeing the happy faces of children when they learn something new and their beautiful smiles."

    Ms. Stacie has had the wonderful opportunity of being involved in the development and encouragement of children for many years. Graduating from Freed-Hardeman University in 2015, she went on to be a PK-5 General Music Teacher and then moved into middle school. She briefly left teaching in 2021 but missed seeing smiling faces, insatiable giggles, and loving and teaching children. She is so excited to be back, molding and building happy successful children. "The things I enjoy about teaching are helping kids find what brings them joy and giving them the tools they need to hone in on their skills."

    Ms. Toni has been with The Goddard School in Collierville since 2020. She is originally from New Orleans, LA and attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA. She began her teaching career there before relocating to Los Angeles, CA. She has over 17 years of teaching in Early Childhood Education and also has her CDA. “Working with children has been my comfort zone. I love to inspire, motivate, and see them happy.”

    Ms. Tori has been with The Goddard School in Collierville since 2018. She was born and raised in Memphis and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She previously taught in our First Steps class and is now a lead teacher in our Preschool program. “All students can learn when they are accepted for who they are and where they stand in their educational journey. There must be mutual trust in place between the teacher, children, and parents for effective learning.”

    First Steps Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Arin has been with The Goddard School since 2021. She graduated from Arlington High School in 2019 and is currently seeking her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Arin loves watching how children grow and how learning is different to each of them. She understands that it is okay for children to have their emotions and are learning how to react and express those emotions. "I love to see the simple things that make them happy. It brings happiness and joy to me!"

    Ms. Ty is from the small town of Ashland, MS. She attended Northeast Mississippi Community College and received her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. She has more than two years experience working in early childhood education and enjoys working with children of all ages. "I enjoy getting to meet different children and teach them all the things they need to know."

    Ms. Nikki was raised in Memphis and currently attends The University of Memphis seeking her Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business. For the last eight years, she has worked as a nanny and as a teacher in a preschool and after school care program. "I love watching the children grow and learn. Their excitement about things reminds me to enjoy little things and moments. It is rewarding to be a part of their development and discovery. No matter how I feel, when I wake up, the children always make my day. It's really an honor."

    Ms. Cassandra is originally from Henderson, TN and recently relocated to the Memphis area. She grew up taking care of children and began working in early childhood education once she graduated high school. She attended Indiana Bible College where she also worked at another local Goddard School for two years before joining The Goddard School in Collierville. "I enjoy the feedback from parents and children's responses as they are learning new things."

    Full Time Substitute Teacher
    Ms. Fatemah was born in Memphis, TN. She is currently studying Early Childhood Education at Southwest Tennessee Community College and has over two years of childcare experience. In her current role at Goddard, she provides extra support to all of our classrooms. "When teaching, I like to make learning educational, but with a little fun to it. I like to see children learn and become something in life."

    Ms. Hannah is originally from a small town outside of Atlanta, GA. She has been with The Goddard School since 2021 and provides support to every classroom throughout the school. Ms. Hannah graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She enjoys working with children of all ages and has previously taught ballet as well.

    Ms. Jane was born in Memphis and graduated from Messick High School. She had a very rewarding career in food and beverage management form many years before becoming a full time nanny. She has 11+ years experience caring for children and their families. "I enjoy watching the children's eyes light up when they learn something new or see something they enjoy or have never seen before. Watching the development from Day 1, to 3 months, to 6 months and each year forward is rewarding."

    Ms Lela is a Memphis Native and graduated from Whitehaven High School. She has seven years of experience working with children as a private nanny and in a summer camp setting. "I enjoy seeing children's faces light up when they are being taught new things and watching the progress they are making over time."

    Ms. Marlo is a Lead Teacher in our Toddler program. She has over 10 years’ experience in education where she was a substitute teacher for a number of years before moving her focus to Early Childhood Education. “I love to see children grow in knowledge and wisdom. I love to help children be the best that they can be and reach their greatest potential in life.”
