    Bill and Melanie Hyatt are the owners of The Goddard School of Greenville, SC. Bill and Melanie have three wonderful children named Miller, Alexander, and Parker. Melanie is from Hilton Head Island, SC. She attended The University of South Carolina where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Management and Master of Arts in Teaching Degree in Marketing Education. She also earned a Certificate in Learning Disabilities from The College of Charleston. Melanie has many years of experience teaching students at different levels (preschool, elementary, high school, and college). Melanie combines her love of giving back to others with her experience of high standards in education. Bill is from Greenville, SC. Bill receive his Retail Management Degree from The University of South Carolina. Bill has over 25 years experience in retail and business operations. Bill and Melanie look forward to offering a safe and nurturing environment where the children are having fun while learning.

    Ms. Tina is originally from England and moved to South Carolina with her family in 2002. Ms. Tina has worked at The Goddard School since 2006 and earned her Associate Degree from Greenville Technical College in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Tina has worked with young children for over 20 years. Ms. Tina taught many age groups before joining our management team as the Director of Education. During her time as our Director of Education, Ms. Tina has been instrumental in acquiring our Partnership for 21st Century Skills accreditation. She also led the way in launching our STEAM programming through a project-based learning approach at our school. Ms. Tina stepped into the role of Onsite Operator at the Greenville location and is passionate about helping families and children become part of our school family.

    Ms. Stephanie has over 17 years of child care leadership experience. She joined our leadership team at the end of 2022 as our Director of Operation Health & Safety. She ensures our school keeps up with the highest standards of safety and security. Stephanie has 2 children of her own, a son Jordan and a daughter Jayden. She is dedicated to implementing and maintaining the safety and security of children on a daily basis.

    Ms. Taylor was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. Taylor has been with The Goddard School for over 10 years and has been instrumental in the growth and development of The Goddard School curriculum. Taylor holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. She loves making up games and songs with children, because it opens up new learning opportunities. Ms. Taylor especially enjoys incorporating STEAM activities in the classroom and loves the excitement for learning that comes with it!

    Ms. Kim Groves is originally from North Carolina and moved to Greenville with her family in 2003. Ms. Kim joined our management team in 2007 when we expanded our facility. Ms. Kim attended Western Carolina University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology, with a focus in Child Psychology. Ms. Kim's previous experience includes teacher at a local preschool for five years, Director of a preschool program and Director of the Extended Day Program at Bell's Crossing Elementary in Greenville County. Ms. Kim is currently our Goddard School Director. She does a great job of maintaining an active system of parent-school communication to promote a strong relationship between the two and planning and implementing a program for teachers' professional growth. Ms. Kim also mentors other Goddard Directors around the country and has become an amazing resource for many other schools within our Franchise. Ms. Kim was recognized for amazing talents, dedication, and hard work

    Ms. Jennifer is originally from New York. She moved to the Greenville area with her family when she was in middle school. Ms. Jennifer graduated from Greenville Technical College with an Associate Degree in Human Services. She has worked with young children of all ages for over 15 years. Ms. Jennifer is passionate about making sure that children are always having fun while learning. She loves to include songs in the classroom that get the children up and moving and incorporating in physical fitness. Ms. Jennifer also enjoys incorporating STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) lessons throughout the day.

    Ms. Alicia is originally from Brooklyn, New York. She moved to the Greenville area, so she could be closer to her family. She previously received her Associate Degree in Occupational Studies. Ms. Alicia has been working with children of all ages for over 6 years, and she also has 3 girls of her own. Alicia supports teachers in their curriculum planning and guides them to achieve impactful curriculum practices. Alicia is passionate about helping form young minds and seeing the wonder of learning through the eyes of young children.

    Ms. Dez is originally from here in Greenville. She attended Woodmont High and is currently looking at different colleges to further her education. Ms. Dez has been working with children for many years and is excited to have the opportunity to have her first year in a preschool setting here at Goddard. She is passionate about creating a safe and fun environment for her students to grow. Ms. Dez loves to incorporate music, dancing and art into her daily classroom routines as it allows children to get creative and express themselves. Ms. Dez’s favorite children’s artist is Laurie Berkner because her songs are super upbeat and get all students up and excited to move.

    Ms. Maria is originally from Guatemala and moved to Greenville in 2003 for better education and job opportunities. She earned her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education with a Certificate in Special Education from Greenville Technical College. Ms. Maria has been working with children ranging in age from 18 months to three years old for over a decade. She is passionate about witnessing the wonder in everyday learning, and knowing what she is doing in the classroom does make a big impact on a child’s life. Ms. Maria’s favorite children’s authors are Eric Carle and Dr. Suess because of their fun and colorful stories. Ms. Maria is fluent in Spanish and looks forward to introducing it to her students.

    Ms. Sierra is originally from Lexington, SC and moved to the Greenville area for her husband’s job. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the College of Charleston. Ms. Sierra has worked with children from preschool through 1st grade for over 9 years. She is passionate about watching children grow and develop their interests, she says it’s one the most rewarding jobs! Ms. Sierra’s favorite book series is The Magic School Bus series by Joanna Cole.

    Ms. Tabitha is originally from California and moved to the Greenville area. She attended Southern Wesleyan University where she earned her Bachelors in psychology. Ms. Tabitha has been working with children of all ages for over 9 years. She is passionate about stories and letting kids be kids, her favorite thing is seeing her students eyes light up when they get excited about a story. Ms. Tabitha’s favorite children’s author is Mo Willems because his books manage to stay simple while being fun and engaging. Ms. Tabitha loves being creative in her free time with arts, crafts and decorations.

    Amber is originally from Ethiopia and moved here with her husband. She obtained her Applied Biology Degree from Bahir Dar University. Besides English, Amber also speaks Amharic. She has worked with infants through four years of age for the past twelve years. Amber's favorite part of being in a classroom is watching the children interact and play with each other. Her favorite books are Pete the Cat as she enjoys watching the children interact throughout the book.

    Ms. Rhianna is from Anderson, SC and attended Southern Wesleyan University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Religion- Youth and Children's Ministry. Ms. Rhianna has worked with children for over four years, working in child care throughout college as well as currently in our Toddler classrooms. She loves watching children grow as they learn and supporting them through personal care that every child deserves.

    Ms. Janice is originally from Chicago, IL but moved to the Greenville area with her family as a child. She is currently working towards her early childhood education degree from Greenville Technical College. Ms. Janice has been working with children from infants and above for over 8 years. She is passionate about watching her students learn new things because helps her realize the positive impact she is making on her students. Ms. Janice’s favorite children’s author is Mo Willems because of how spontaneous his books are, and they are guaranteed to leave everyone smiling. Ms. Janice can write and speak Spanish fluently, you can often find her incorporating it into her classes.

    Ms. Kylie is originally from Indiana but moved to the Greenville area in 2020 for college. She graduated from Bob Jones University with a Bachelors in Child Development. Ms. Kylie has been working with children for over 3 years. She is passionate about building relationships with her students as they learn best when they feel safe and secure in an environment. Ms. Kylie also gets joy from seeing her students grow and master new skills that they will use as they become life-long learners.

    Ms. Luci is originally from Greenville, SC. She is a graduate of Converse University, where she earned dual BAs in Child and Family Studies and Hispanic Studies. She has experience working with children of all age groups and is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with students and their families. Ms. Luci enjoys supporting her students beyond the classroom by attending their after-school activities. Ms. Luci's favorite children's author is Barbara Park, as her books bring back fond childhood memories with their fun and silly stories. She also loves Eric Carle for his unique and colorful art style. In addition to her love of literature, Ms. Luci is fluent in Spanish and has an intermediate proficiency in French.

    Ms. Amanda is from Whittier, California, and moved to Greenville S.C for her husband's work. She graduated from The University of La Verne with a Bachelors in Child Development. Ms. Amanda has nine years of experience working with children through age five. She is passionate about providing children with experiences that spark curiosity and a love of learning, while building meaningful relationships with each child. Her favorite children’s book is “The Animal Family” by Randall Jarrell, as it holds a special place in her heart and brings back wonderful childhood memories.

    Ms. Alontai is originally from Pelion, SC and moved to the area when her sister went to Clemson University. She graduated from Midlands Technical College with her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. She has 8 years of experience with children ranging from six weeks through twelve years of age. Ms. Alontai is passionate about helping children reach their full potential so they integrate well into society as they get older. Her favorite children's music and education videos include Gracie's Corner as it is more upbeat.

    Ms. Cristy is from Wellsville, NY. She has over 20 years experience working with children of all ages. Ms. Cristy holds an Associates Degree from Alfred State College and is passionate about showing each child love and compassion, helping them achieve new milestones, and celebrating their successes. Ms. Cristy is inspired by her favorite authors, C.L. Lewis, Dr. Seuss, and Roald Dahl. She believes that "Imagination can be as creative as you make it."

    Ms. Molly is originally from Florida, she grew up in Georgia before moving to South Carolina with her family. Ms. Molly brings her experience working with 4th and 5th graders to her passion for teaching young children. She finds joy in nurturing curiosity and loves watching the excitement in her students' eyes as they learn something new. Her favorite book is the Sesame Street classic "The Monster at the End of The Book," which she enjoys for its silly and hilariously funny story that never fails to delight children. Beyond teaching, Ms. Molly showcases her musical talent by playing the viola, a skill that adds a creative and musical flair to her classroom.

    Ms. Alexia is originally from Canada. She traveled frequently with her father’s job before discovering her love for Greenville. She holds an Accounting degree from Pace University and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Texas. Ms. Alexia has four years of experience working with children, and has a strong background in teaching infants. Ms. Alexia is passionate about helping children reach their milestones, build safe connections, and feel loved and valued. Her favorite children’s author is Robert Munsch, known for his humor and imagination in storytelling.

    Ms. L.A. is originally from Lancaster, South Carolina, and moved to Greenville in 2024 to start a family. She graduated from Lancaster High School and has been working with children since she was 15 years old, beginning with teaching Sunday school. She has years of experience working with 3 and 4 year-olds and is passionate about helping children learn in fun, engaging ways that spark curiosity and a love of learning. Ms. L.A’s favorite children’s authors include Dr. Seuss and Mo Willems for their humor and unique art styles, as well as Sandra Boynton, whose playful books inspire her to turn words into fun songs. A fun fact about Ms. L.A. she holds a Zookeeper Assistant license! She can also sing, play a bit of piano, read music fluently, and is a minor in American Sign Language (ASL).

    Ms. Kristianna is originally from Anderson but moved to Fountain Inn when she was young. She attended Greenville Technical College where she studied art and early childhood education before earning her certificate in pediatric dental assisting. She also has experience with various ages in her childhood education experience and is passionate about building relationships with her students to better understand each of them on their own level. She loves seeing them light up when she can teach students in a way that they are engaged and understand. Her favorite children’s artist is Laurie Berkner because of how her students love to engage and get moving to her songs.

    Ms. Nicole is originally from Monmouth Beach, New Jersey, where she attended The Goddard School as a child. She moved to Greenville in 2019 with her husband and is a graduate of the College of Charleston, earning a degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Italian. Ms. Nicole has over 15 years of experience working with children as a professional nanny and 3 years as a preschool and Pre-K teacher. She is passionate about education and believes teaching is her purpose in life. With a Reggio Emilia background, she enjoys following children’s interests to guide learning. Her favorite children’s book is “Just Because” by Matthew McConaughey because it teaches children that it is okay to have different opinions through beautiful words and illustrations. Ms. Nicole speaks moderate Spanish and Italian.

She earned her Associate Degree in Science from Spartanburg Methodist College and has dedicated the past four years to working with children up to five years old. Ms. Tiara is passionate about early childhood education, and strives to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment where children can grow, develop new skills, and build meaningful relationships. One of her favorite childhood authors is Robert Munsch, known for his creative storytelling and educational themes. She looks forward to sharing his books with her little one as well!

    Ms. Nikki was born and raised in Alabama, where she graduated from Palmetto High School. She later moved to South Carolina to be closer to her family. With over four years of experience working with children of all ages, Ms. Nikki has found her passion in caring for infants and toddlers. She is a nurturing presence in the classroom, engaged, attentive, and dedicated to the health and happiness of every child. Ms. Nikki’s favorite songs are by Mother Moon, which promote body positivity and self-love. An advocate for early communication, she uses American Sign Language (ASL) to help little ones express their needs and feelings before they can speak. Her calm, supportive style creates a classroom where every child feels seen, heard, and loved.

    Ms. Courtney is originally from Spartanburg, SC and graduated from Dorman High School. She has worked with children ranging from infants to school age for over 3 years. Ms. Courtney is passionate about observing children's milestones because it demonstrates how she is helping them achieve their goals. Her favorite children's song is "The Affirmation Song" because it gives students a positive outlook about themselves. Ms. Courtney can speak some German and has an uncle from Switzerland. Ms. Courtney has some dance experience as she has been dancing since she was 10 years old.

    Ms. Megan is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Visual Arts, along with a Masters degree in Biology from Eastern Washington University. Ms. Megan has over 10 years of experience working with children from Pre-K through high school. She is passionate about engaging young learners and helping them discover new things. Her favorite children’s author is Dr. Seuss because of his timeless messages. Outside the classroom, Ms. Megan enjoys practicing her French.

    Ms. Marissa is originally from here in Greenville where she attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School. She has been working with children for over 3 years and loves creating a safe and warm environment for her students to learn. Ms. Marissa’s favorite children’s book is Dr. Seuss’s “Green Eggs and Ham” because that was her favorite when she was growing up. Ms. Marissa loves to incorporate music into her class’s daily routine, her favorite song to do with the students is “ring around the rosie” because it gets student up and moving.

    Ms. Guadalupe is originally from Acapulco, Mexico, and spent many years living in Chicago before moving to South Carolina to escape the cold weather. She attended college in Mexico, where she studied accounting and earned a degree as an international telephone operator. Ms. Guadalupe has experience working with 1-year olds, and is passionate about crafting with children and cherishes watching their creativity come to life through their artwork. She brings joy to the classroom by singing The Wheels On The Bus and Baby Shark, which excite and engage the children. Ms. Guadalupe is fluent in both English and Spanish and is dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment for every child to grow and thrive.

    Ms Staesha is originally from Fort Mill and moved to the Greenville area for college. She attended USC Upstate where she earned her bachelors in psychology. Ms. Staesha has worked with children in the preschool age range for over 5 years. She is passionate about learning her students and seeing their personalities develop. Ms. Staesha’s favorite children’s book is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr.

    Ms. Arionne is originally from Charlotte, NC, and now calls Greenville home after moving here with her husband. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education at North Carolina A&T State University. With four years of experience working with children ages 2-5 years. Ms. Arionne finds joy in witnessing their growth as they master new skills. Ms. Arionne is passionate about early learning, and loves creating a nurturing and engaging environment where children can thrive. Her favorite children's song is "Get Back Up" from Trolls because of its upbeat rhythm and positive message. She is currently learning American Sign Language to further support communication in the classroom. Ms. Arionne is excited about inspiring young minds and fostering a love for learning in every child she teaches.

Her favorite children’s author is Dr. Seuss because his stories captivate young minds, and her favorite book is “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!” for its inspiring message and playful rhythm.

    Ms. Shyniece is from Greenville, South Carolina. She is currently pursuing her degree at the University of South Carolina Upstate. Ms. Shyniece has over three years of experience working with children ages 2 to 5 as well as experience caring for infants. She brings warmth, patience, and a deep understanding of early childhood development to the classroom. Ms. Shyniece is passionate about building meaningful relationships with each child and tailoring her approach to meet their individual learning styles. She is committed to creating a nurturing and welcoming environment where every child can be inspired to grow. One of her favorite children's books is “Jonathan James and the Whatif Monster” by Michelle Nelson-Schmidt, which she loves for its encouraging message about facing fears and trying new things. Outside the classroom, Ms. Shyniece enjoys being creative, working with ceramics and clay.

    Ms. Connie is originally from Germany, where she completed her high school education before moving to Greenville S,C. She holds a college degree in sales and brings over four years of experience working with infants and toddlers. Ms. Connie is passionate about supporting young children as they grow and develop, seeing their smiles each day brings her joy. She is fluent in both German and Serbian, bringing a rich cultural background to the classroom. One of her favorite children’s books is “Broken Crayons Still Color” which reflects her belief in the beauty and potential of every child.

    Ms. Morgan is originally from South Carolina. She graduated from Greer High School and brings with her 3 years of experience working with children up to 12 years old. She is passionate about watching children explore and the excitement that comes when they learn something new for the very first time. Ms. Morgan’s favorite children’s authors are Dr. Seuss, for his playful rhymes, and Aaron Blabey, author of “Pig the Pug” which she especially enjoys because she has both a pig and a pug at home!

    Ms. Lily is from Miami, FL and moved to Greenville, SC, seven years ago. Ms. Lily loves the tranquility and natural beauty of the area. She is a graduate of Don Bosco High School and received her degree in Early Childhood Education from the Development Center Maracay. She brings over 25 years of experience working with children ages 3 to 5. Ms. Lily is passionate about sharing in the smiles and joy of young learners while educating them in fun and engaging ways. Ms. Lily finds fulfillment in helping children grow in both knowledge and confidence. Her favorite children’s author is Eric Litwin, and she especially enjoys Pete the Cat for how it teaches colors and numbers. Spanish is Ms. Lily’s first language.

    Ms. Tiffany is originally from Utica, New York, where she graduated from Whitesboro High School. She later moved to Greenville with her family. With 8 years of experience teaching children of all ages, Ms. Tiffany brings a passion for education and a nurturing spirit to the classroom. She finds joy in helping children learn and grow, and she cherishes the opportunity to support each child on their unique journey. One of her favorite children's authors is Anna Dewdney, best known for Llama Llama Red Pajama, because of her heartfelt stories.

With valuable experience working with children of all ages, Ms. Lauren is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn. She strives to be a trusted figure in her students' lives as someone they can rely on as they grow and explore. Ms. Lauren's favorite children's author is Dr. Seuss, for his whimsical stories and memorable rhymes for young readers. In her free time, she enjoys singing and often incorporates music into her teaching to bring joy and creativity into the classroom.

    Ms. Jaquelyn is originally from New York City and recently moved to Greenville to enjoy life away from the busy city. She graduated from Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis High School and has five years of experience working with children with special needs, ranging from ages 3 to 14. Ms. Jaquelyn is passionate about creating a welcoming and safe environment for every child, helping them feel comfortable and supported at school. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys watching and playing basketball, her favorite sport.

    Ms. Capri has lived in Dover, Delaware, and Lindenwold, New Jersey, and recently moved to Greenville to enjoy its beauty and serenity. She graduated from Dover High School and brings over 10 years of experience working with children ages 0–18 months. Ms. Capri is passionate about creating engaging activities that support growth and development. She loves watching babies learn and progress, sharing that it truly makes her heart happy. Her favorite children’s author is Dr. Seuss because she enjoys his playful rhymes and creativity. Ms. Capri can speak some Spanish and, in her spare time, loves painting and writing poetry.

    Ms. Julia is originally from Chapin, South Carolina, and moved to Greenville after attending the University of South Carolina, where she earned her degree in Public Relations and quickly decided to make it her home. She has over four years of experience working with children as a coach and loves helping them grow both academically and personally. Ms. Julia is passionate about English and grammar, believing that strong language skills build confidence and translate into success in adulthood. Her favorite children’s author is Zach Williams because she enjoys reading his books with her son, their rhyming stories promote shared family values. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Julia has a unique hobby, she loves racing cars one weekend each month!

    Ms. Christine is originally from Newburgh, New York. She and her husband recently retired and moved to Greenville to enjoy their next adventure together! She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Oneonta State College and has spent 22 years teaching children ages 3–13, including six wonderful years teaching kindergarten. Ms. Christine is passionate about teaching, especially English Language Arts, because she loves seeing the excitement on each child’s face when they truly understand what they’re learning. Her favorite children’s books are by Eric Carle because she enjoys his busy, colorful artwork. In her free time, Ms. Christine loves to dance!

    Ms. Courtney is from Columbia, South Carolina, and moved to Greenville to pursue her education. She is currently attending North Greenville University, where she is studying Marketing. Ms. Courtney has two years of experience working with children, primarily four-year-olds. She is passionate about watching children light up as they learn new things and loves seeing their curiosity grow as they explore and ask questions. Her favorite children’s author is Dr. Seuss because his books encourage children to recognize patterns and make predictions about what comes next in the story.

    Ms. Kat is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, and moved to Greenville to be closer to family. She is currently attending Richmond Community College, where she is pursuing her Associate in Arts while working toward a degree in Education. Ms. Kat has over two years of experience working with children in Special Education, supporting students in grades K–5. She is passionate about helping children succeed and loves witnessing their “aha” moments when learning begins to click. Her favorite author is Eric Litwin, best known for the Pete the Cat series. Ms. Kat enjoys reading these books with her students and children, and they love them just as much!

    Ms. Kristen is originally from Michigan and moved to Greenville to be closer to her family. She attended Grand Rapids Community College, where she earned her Associate’s degree in Child Development. With 10 years of experience working with infants and toddlers, Ms. Kristen is passionate about supporting young children during their earliest stages of growth. She loves watching them learn and develop and takes pride in being part of the village that cares for and nurtures each child. Ms. Kristen’s favorite children’s author is Eric Carle because “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” was her favorite book growing up, and she admires his unique artwork. She also loves to sing with her students, and her favorite song is “The Wheels on the Bus.”

    Ms. Adria is originally from New York by way of Massachusetts and moved to Greenville to enjoy the warm weather after her husband retired. She graduated from Clarkstown High School and earned her CNA from HoHoKus School of Medical Science. She has two years of experience working with infants through 18 months and is also a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. Ms. Adria loves reading with children and enjoys seeing the concentration on their faces as they explore new stories. Her favorite children’s author is Roald Dahl.

    Ms. Stephanie is from Greenville, South Carolina, and is a proud graduate of Greenville High School. She has been working with children for about six years, teaching K4 as well as 2nd and 3rd grade students. Ms. Stephanie is passionate about helping children grow and develop by teaching foundational skills in fun and engaging ways. She loves encouraging creativity in her classroom and believes that learning should be both meaningful and exciting for every child. Her favorite children’s books are those by Dr. Seuss because the rhyme and rhythm make them fun, engaging, and easy for children to read and enjoy. Ms. Stephanie is also fluent in Spanish, which allows her to connect with and support a diverse group of students and families.

    Ms. Salma is originally from Bangladesh and moved to Greenville with her family for her husband’s job. She attended Greenville Technical College and has 9 years of experience working with toddlers. Passionate about early childhood education, Ms. Salma loves teaching and finds joy in watching children grow and learn each day. Her favorite children’s song to sing is “Five Little Monkeys.” Ms. Salma is also fluent in Banglai, which brings a wonderful cultural perspective to her classroom.

    Ms. Chanelle is originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, and moved to Greenville with her family. She earned her Early Childhood Education certification from Fayetteville Technical Community College and her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential when living in Florida. Ms. Chanelle is currently continuing her education at Greenville Technical College. With 10 years of experience working with children of all age groups, Ms. Chanelle is passionate about teaching children new skills and concepts while helping them grow socially and emotionally. She places a strong emphasis on kindness and respect, hoping to inspire children to grow into thoughtful, caring adults. Ms. Chanelle’s favorite children’s author is Eric Litwin, as both she and her students love the Pete the Cat series. In her free time, she is also working on learning Spanish to better connect with children and families.
