Meet Bill and Melanie School Owner

Bill and Melanie Hyatt are the owners of The Goddard School of Greenville, SC. Bill and Melanie have three wonderful children named Miller, Alexander, and Parker. Melanie is from Hilton Head Island, SC. She attended The University of South Carolina where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Management and Master of Arts in Teaching Degree in Marketing Education. She also earned a Certificate in Learning Disabilities from The College of Charleston. Melanie has many years of experience teaching students at different levels (preschool, elementary, high school, and college). Melanie combines her love of giving back to others with her experience of high standards in education. Bill is from Greenville, SC. Bill receive his Retail Management Degree from The University of South Carolina. Bill has over 25 years experience in retail and business operations. Bill and Melanie look forward to offering a safe and nurturing environment where the children are having fun while learning.

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.

Bridge

2.5 - 3.5 yrs

As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

Pre-K

4 - 5 yrs

As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

The staff at the Goddard School of Greenville are top tier. They do a great job of not only notifying me of but also anticipating, my children's needs. The teachers and staff care so much about our family and our son. They know us and are always super friendly and helpful. My son's eyes light up when he sees his favorite teacher, Ms. Melissa and runs to her, arms open. I also love the family events the school puts on. Overall we have been very happy with our experience.

The Joe Schumacher Award recognizes a franchisee who has an unwavering belief in the Goddard brand, is a leader in the adoption of new programs and services and is an active member of the local community. The Joe Schumacher Award was named after Joe Schumacher, the former CEO and chairman of Goddard System's board of directors.

Child Care Aware is the nation's most respected hub of information for parents and child care providers. A program of Child Care Aware of America, Child Care Aware helps families learn more about the elements of quality child care and how to locate programs in their communities. Child Care Aware also provides child care providers with access to resources for their child care programs.
