Ms. Amy has been working with children for most of her life, starting with babysitting as a teen, growing up in Ohio. After graduating from college with a degree in Child and Family Studies, Ms. Amy moved to Pittsburgh to begin working as a preschool teacher and later as a center director. Ms. Amy then worked as a nanny for many years, before returning to work as both a teacher and assistant director at other centers in the area. In Ms. Amy's spare time, she has been a youth leader for the teens at her church for many years. She is a counselor for a summer camp where she is also on the board of directors and has previously served as president and vice-president. In her spare time, she loves photography, music, movies, board games, and all things Disney. Ms. Amy loves to incorporate those in her work with children, when possible. Ms. Amy lives here in Gibsonia with her husband Brian, her daughter Heidi, and her dog, Tinker Bell.
