Jennie has been a part of The Goddard School since 2008 and is excited to own a business that is centered around her most important priority; family. She is passionate about children and early childhood education. She enjoys operating a business that plays an important role in the community by providing exceptional service. I joined The Goddard School in 2011 after receiving my degree in Early Childhood Education and Family Studies. I taught in the infant-toddler programs before transitioning into the director role in 2015. I have always loved being around children and seeing their “aha” moments as they master comprehension of new skills. A parent once asked me what we could really teach a one-year-old, and my answer was the possibilities are endless! Early education provides children learning opportunities through the natural exploration of play and teachers providing personalized learning experiences for their students based on their interests and strengths. As an educator and parent, I am proud of our program at The Goddard School that allows families to feel confident that their children are cared for, safe, and excelling while at The Goddard School. Outside of The Goddard School, I enjoy learning about superheroes from my three young sons and long walks through the aisles of Target.

Growing up in a family with an in-home daycare, young children have always been a part of my life. In 2004, I began working with children outside of the home. I joined The Goddard family in 2014 as a Lead Teacher in our infant classroom. I love teaching for many reasons, one of the biggest is my passion for children. Every day brings something new. I love watching children learn while helping them make those connections between words and actions. Getting to experience things together for the first time is so rewarding. Plus, who doesn’t love to play, create, and explore! I strive to build strong relationships with the children in my class and their families to provide a comfortable, nurturing, safe home away from home environment. Outside of teaching, I love spending time with my husband, young sons, and my small dog who are my pride and joy! I love spending time outdoors, rain or shine. I am a free spirit who loves life and spending time with little ones.

I joined the Goddard School in 2014 after completing my Early Education Internship in 2013. I’ve been a lead teacher in various classrooms and currently serve in a teacher and director support position. I continue my education by attending early childhood education trainings. Early education, for me, is to create a safe and fun atmosphere for each child, whether it’s through science, technology, engineering, art, mathematics, and dramatic play! Witnessing the determination and reaction when children reach a goal or milestone is such a true feeling of accomplishment. My favorite school activities are creative art and outside time because I love to see where their imagination takes them. Participating in any activity with children is a way to gain knowledge on their likes and dislike and it’s a wonderful opportunity to create amazing bonds. In my free time, I love spending time with family and going on trips.

I have always loved working with children, being able to experience them meeting new developmental milestones brings me joy. I have taken two years of childhood development and early childhood education classes to further my knowledge in the field. I joined the Goddard School in 2019 working in toddler classrooms. Outside of Goddard, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and shopping whenever I can!

I love watching the world through children's eyes and seeing them grow and learn something new every day. I enjoy engaging children in creative arts through their imagination. I enjoy watching children create new opportunities for innovation that provide them with a path toward growth as they discover countless possibilities. I have an Associate's Degree in Arts and Science with over 20 units in Early Childhood Education and 25 years of experience working with children from infancy through age 12. I previously owned and operated an in-home preschool for 15 years providing preschool curriculum and quality care for many children. I am a mother of two originally from California. In my free time, I enjoy music, crafting, baking, spending time outdoors with family, and going to see live shows.

I joined the team here at the Happy Valley Goddard School in 2021. I've worked with children in a church setting and through babysitting. Teaching children new things and watching them grow brings me joy. My favorite activity to do with children is playing games with them that help stimulate their minds.

I am so happy to work with children, every day they have new things to teach you! We are learning together. I joined The Goddard School in 2023.

I have been an early childhood educator and youth counselor for over 20 years. I have achieved a step 7 on the Oregon Registry and continue to take early childhood education courses. I joined The Goddard School team in 2020 as a lead teacher in the two-year-old program. In my classroom, my favorite time is group time with the children! I have always enjoyed watching children learn and sharing their curiosity. I enjoy spending time with friends, reading, walking, and music outside of teaching.

I hold an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as most of the schooling completed for my Bachelors in the field. I have been working with children since 2008, much of this time as a lead teacher for two year olds at two different Goddard School locations. I love watching children's minds grow and connect with the world around them. Children are the most honest people, and what they say is what they mean. You can watch the progression as children grow and learn new skills and absorb information from the world around them. Being a part of that growth is such an incredible experience. I enjoy doing hands on activities where children can explore and engage to the extent they feel comfortable with. I am all for the messy activities such as sensory exploration, using hands as paint brushes, and everything in between! I enjoy taking road trips to sunny places and spending as much time as I can with my husband, my three beautiful children, and two amazing step children.

I love working with children! I have been around children my entire life, I love watching children learn through exploration. My goals are to earn my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. In my free time, I enjoy reading, walks, and photography.

I enjoy creating a positive impact on young children and having the opportunity to be a part of their everyday growth. Seeing the smiles on their faces as they learn something new brings me joy. I have worked with children from infancy up to age 5. I joined the Goddard School in 2021 and am so grateful to spend my days working with all of the wonderful children here! I moved to Oregon with my husband and love it here, the trees and greenery make me so happy. I enjoy reading and drawing in my free time. Outside of teaching you can find me watching my favorite shows with my three fur babies; Chewy, Mittens, and Juniper.

As an educator, I am continuously taking classes to gain knowledge in the early childhood education field. I've worked with children since 2014 in various settings and hope to always have a place to teach children. I remember the teachers that impacted my learning and helped me grow to love it and showed me my love for the classroom. I love watching and helping children learn and discover their world. My goals are to provide a fun, loving, and safe environment for their minds to grow and have a love for learning. My favorite centers in the classroom are creative art and science/sensory. Art allows you to express yourself in ways words could never. Science and sensory help to grow every stage of development and what better way to do that than getting a little messy. My partner and I love spending time outdoors camping fishing and hiking with our dogs. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, organizing, crafting, and of course, drinking coffee!

What draws me to early childhood education is watching children become more confident and grow into their personalities. My favorite activity to do with the children in my classroom is art! I enjoy incorporating the 3 years of education I have in American Sign Language into my classroom daily. I began working with children in my high school preschool program. I have worked in preschools, volunteered with youth sports, and have been an outdoor school teacher. I joined The Goddard School in 2020. In my free time, I like spending time with my friends and dogs.

I hold an Associates of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education from Mount Hood Community College. I began working with children in 2015 and have experience teaching toddlers, preschoolers, and prekindergarten children. In 2018 I joined The Goddard School in Happy Valley as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher. What I enjoy about early childhood education is watching the children in my classroom learn and figure new things out. I love introducing science experiments to the children in my class and seeing their reactions to the cause and effect. Art projects allow the children in my class to explore their creativity using a variety of materials. I support the children in my classroom to enhance their confidence and independence while providing support when needed. Don’t think you can put on your own coat? I can show you how and am excited to see you try! I am very family oriented, I have 11 siblings and recently got married in 2021.

I love the creativity of children! They each uniquely see the world and love to share their views of the world. It keeps every day exciting. Doing art with the children is my favorite activity, it is amazing seeing how children are able to communicate through art. I am also known to join a Lego build. I have been working in various childcare settings since 2021 and worked with children before that. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature with an emphasis on creative writing, along with a minor in studio art and art history. I grew up in Colorado and carry with me a love of hiking and nature. In my free time, I enjoy writing short stories, creating art, reading, and finding new oddities at antique stores.

I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Concordia University. My teaching experience consists of working with grades ranging from preschool through high school in standard and special needs classrooms. I joined The Goddard School in 2015. I enjoy sharing learning experiences with children through hands on activities and helping them discover their strengths. In my classroom I enjoy creative art and reading books with the children. Outside of teaching I spend my time with my three active children!

I love engaging with children in art activities, watching them create their masterpieces, and using everything available to them. I have always enjoyed seeing children learn and grow. Every day comes with new possibilities and challenges. Being there to help the children find solutions is what draws me to early childhood education. I have my high school diploma and have studied criminology. In my free time, I love spending time at home baking with family and reading.

I love seeing the joy in children when they learn and accomplish new things on their own! My favorite classroom activity is art! I enjoy watching children express their creativity through painting and collages. I have 8 years of experience working in preschool settings. I have completed multiple high school courses in the field of early childhood education and continue to take trainings in the field. I joined The Goddard School in 2013. In my free time, I love spending time with my family, going on runs, hikes, as well as cooking and baking with my daughter.

I believe early education provides a unique opportunity to help nurture and educate the up-and-coming generation, I am glad to get to play a part in that. My favorite school activities are art and free play. I love seeing where a child's imagination will lead them and having the opportunity to see into their world. I graduated from Corban University with a BA in Intercultural Studies in 2021 and an MA in Christian Leadership in 2023. I have been working with children of various ages and stages for the past 14 years, in the states and overseas. In my free time, I love to bake sweet treats, stretch my photography skills, paddle board and kayak in the summer, and travel the world with my husband.

I feel that the first five years of life can be the most important in a child's overall development. I want to help make children feel safe and eager to learn. Language and literature activities are my favorite in the classroom. Songs, books, and felt board stories are moments I enjoy sharing with the children. I started working with children in 1998. I have lived in the Pacific Northwest since 2000. In my free time, I love to see live music, hike, go to parks, and cook.

I love working with children and watching them develop into the individuals that they are. I have a Bachelor of Science in Human Development. I have had great experiences traveling and serving abroad. I also instruct dance and acrobatics to all ages including accelerated competitive dancers. I enjoy reading, taking my dog for walks, and the company of my husband.

I have an associate's degree in Early Elementary Education from Pacific University and over 20 years of teaching experience. I taught a kindergarten program for 15 years as well as worked as a site director of an elementary school after-school program. I joined The Goddard School in 2016. I love watching children grow from an early developmental skill to a higher level of skills. I really enjoy observing children interact with one another in imaginary play activities, children learn so much from imaginary play! Group time is another favorite of mine as children enjoy their teachers reading to them and enjoying music together. I have three sons, one daughter, and nine grandchildren who I adore. I have been with my husband for 14 years; we enjoy spending time together as a family.

I grew up around children and gained years of experience nannying for families. I've taken child education and development courses. The Goddard School is my second official childcare setting and I am excited to work with the children here! Building connections and finding ways to help each child grow makes me happy.

Childcare has always been a passion of mine! I love finding creative and memorable ways to teach children and I work to make every day an awesome, special day for each child. I have worked in schools babysat, and am currently working toward a degree in early childhood development. My favorite part of my day at The Goddard School is doing art with the children or teaching the children to love learning. Outside of the classroom I love to read, cook, or explore the PNW.

I love seeing children grow and develop, it is amazing to see the things they explore and discover every day. It is incredible to be a part of their learning journey! I enjoy engaging children in hands-on activities, especially art projects. I am currently working towards a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in child, youth, and family studies. I have enjoyed volunteering in early childhood classrooms over the years. I enjoy exploring nature, visiting new places, and going to coffee shops.

In 2018 I started my journey working with children. I thoroughly enjoy watching children grow and learn through play. My favorite activity to do with children is reading books to them as they enhance their literacy skills and social interaction skills. I have a high school diploma and am continuing my education currently at Mt. Hood Community College. In my free time, I enjoy reading a good book and playing board games with my family. I love going ice skating and camping with my family.

I have always had an interest in working with children. I love seeing children grow and learn new things about the world. I believe children should be taught in a fun, creative way, that if a child is not understanding the material in the way it is presented that it's the teacher's opportunity to create a way to teach the material in a way that allows the child to understand it best. In the classroom I enjoy art activities, allowing children to freely express themselves. I am currently working towards my degree in early childhood education. I am a very positive person and feel it is important to have a positive lifestyle. In my free time, I enjoy shopping and doing hair. I joined The Goddard School in 2020.

I love seeing children grow as individuals. My hope is to make sure every child feels safe and welcomed in the classroom. My favorite activities to do with children include playdough and arts and crafts. I am a senior at Nelson high school, and have been a part of the Sabin and Schellenburg Early Education program for the last three years. I love spending time outside running or hiking, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and drinking coffee.

I love working with children because I get to see them grow and learn about the world around them. I enjoy working with children to further their literacy skills whether we are learning about the alphabet, playing a fun game, or having story time. I have worked with children for many years, I am currently a part of my high school's program where I work with children from ages 0-12 learning about early childhood development. I also intern in a fourth-grade classroom. I am currently a senior in high school looking to pursue my education in Early Childhood Education. Outside of Goddard, I love dancing, baking, and sewing. I am excited to be a part of as many children's lives as possible.
