Our Goddard School Teachers

Mr. Sanjay is the owner of The Goddard School of Skillman - Montgomery Township. He holds an MBA in finance from NYU and degrees in electrical engineering, physics and economics, and he held leadership positions at major financial institutions. He brings that same passion, focus and professionalism to the school every day, providing a state-of-the-art facility where highly qualified teachers help children learn and grow in a fun, safe environment.

Ms. Heather is the Executive Director and has been part of The Goddard School family since 2010, with more than 15 years in early childhood education. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and English from Kean University. She believes education should support each child's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development, and she leads a nurturing school where children build confidence, essential life skills and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Ms. Sweta is the Academic Director. She holds a Master's degree in Biological Sciences, a Bachelor's degree in Botany and a degree in Education with certifications in early childhood education. She has taught from high school through early childhood and served as Curriculum Coordinator, Program Specialist and Assistant Director. She loves being an advocate for children and instilling a love of reading, and she volunteers with NAMI Mercer NJ and NJ Special Olympics.

Ms. Rachel is the Operational Director. She holds an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Middlesex County College and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Kean University, with over five years of teaching experience. She believes each child is unique and helps children become responsible, independent learners who believe in themselves and respect one another, supporting a safe, fun and educational environment across the school.

Ms. Helena is a Lead Toddler Teacher with more than eight years of experience teaching young children. She holds a degree in the medical field from ASA College and chose early childhood education as her true calling. She is passionate about what children can achieve with the right resources and encouragement, and she works to give every child that same sense of wonder and enthusiasm in the classroom.

Ms. Erica is a Lead Toddler Teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Psychology, a 90-hour Childcare Certification and CPR certification. Her background in early childhood development pairs with warmth and dedication to create a classroom where children feel safe, valued and encouraged to explore. A native New Yorker, she is a proud mother and grandmother who supports the growth, learning and well-being of every child in her care.

Ms. Smita is a Lead Toddler Teacher with over a decade of experience working with young children in diverse educational settings. She holds a Master's degree in English Literature, an undergraduate degree in Biology and a Diploma in Early Childhood Montessori Education. Her child-centered approach is rooted in respect, mindfulness and each child's individual pace, and her own yoga and meditation practice inspires the calm, nurturing presence she brings to the classroom.

Ms. Izabela is a Lead Twos Teacher. She holds a Master's degree in Biology with a focus on secondary education, postgraduate studies in Early Childhood Education and an Associate degree in Health Science from RVCC. She believes every child has unique strengths, nurtures emotional and cognitive growth in her classroom and promotes healthy living as part of her teaching approach.

Ms. Shreya is a Lead Preschool Teacher with over four years in early childhood education, including almost two years at Goddard, and she is pursuing a CDA focused on preschool-aged children. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and left a software career to follow her passion for working with children. She is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing space where every child can grow, learn and explore.

Ms. Jackie is a Lead Twos Teacher with over five years of experience working with toddlers. She holds an associate degree in Elementary Education from Raritan Valley Community College and a bachelor's degree in Global Studies. She believes every child explores the world in their own way across different domains of learning, and she loves watching children learn, grow and express their unique personalities.

Ms. Shruti is a Resource Teacher who holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Mumbai. Her psychology background helps her support children’s social, emotional and cognitive growth. Her organization and communication skills let her step in wherever a classroom needs support, and she is passionate about creating nurturing, inclusive environments where every child grows in confidence.

Ms. Alexi is an Assistant Bridge Teacher who brings a cheerful, ambitious and compassionate presence to the classroom. With experience in babysitting, caretaking and motherhood, she makes sure each child's unique strengths and needs are met. She teaches children to become independent learners through learning and play, and she builds the sense of responsibility that helps them in the school years ahead.

Ms. Stefanie is a Lead Preschool Teacher who earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from King's College. She brings over 20 years of teaching experience, including more than a decade specializing in early childhood education and prior work at another Goddard School. She believes every child possesses limitless potential and nurtures it through a loving, patient and supportive approach.

Ms. Priya is a Lead Preschool Teacher with an MPhil in Biotechnology, a Master's degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology. She has over two years of experience nurturing and educating children ages 2 to 4 and previously served as a college lecturer in biotechnology. An accomplished artist with district and state prizes in drawing and Rangoli, she brings that creativity to her classroom and is grateful to do work she loves deeply.

Ms. Kumkum is a Lead Preschool Teacher who has been teaching for more than six years, with experience in Montessori and other early childhood schools and time running her own school in India. She holds a master's in English Literature with a degree in Mass Communication and Retail Management. Her main goal is to give children a proper base that nourishes them for the future, helping them learn and grow in a safe, clean environment.

Ms. Pooja is a Lead Preschool Teacher with over seven years of experience in early childhood education, four in India and three in the U.S. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Delhi and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education from South Delhi Polytechnic School. Her play-based, personalized approach creates a warm, inclusive classroom where children feel confident and supported. She is a proud mother of two young daughters.

Ms. Munzarin, known as Ms. Z, is a Lead Pre-K Teacher with over 14 years of experience in early childhood education. She holds a bachelor's degree in History, Economics and Political Science, a CDA credential and an International Montessori Teaching Diploma from NAMC, and in 2025 she completed RBT and ABA training that strengthens her support for children with autism. She creates joyful, inclusive classrooms through positive reinforcement, creativity and individualized support.

Ms. Poornima is a Lead Pre-K Teacher who earned her Master of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees from the University of Mysore and her CDA in 2023. She has over four years of teaching experience and has volunteered with children ages 5 to 12, earning honors including the President's Volunteer Service Award. She takes pride in inspiring a love of learning in every student.

Ms. Poornima is a Lead Pre-K Teacher who earned her Master of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees from the University of Mysore and her CDA in 2023. She has over four years of teaching experience and has volunteered with children ages 5 to 12, earning honors including the President's Volunteer Service Award. She takes pride in inspiring a love of learning in every student.

Ms. Nilam is a Lead Infant Teacher with a Bachelor of Arts degree and over six years of experience with infants from 6 weeks to 18 months old. She believes every child is unique and provides individualized care that supports physical, emotional, social and cognitive development. She builds strong family relationships through open communication and partnership, and she brings her love of cooking and crafts into fun, hands-on sensory experiences for her infants.

Ms. Namta is an Assistant Toddler Teacher with more than six years of experience caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. She has worked in licensed child care centers and family settings and is CPR and First Aid certified. A mother herself, she brings patience and compassion to the toddler classroom and builds strong, trusting relationships with children and their families. She supports toddlers as they find their words, handle big feelings and grow more independent each day.

Ms. Burcin is an Assistant Preschool Teacher who holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching from Cyprus International University and an associate degree in Interior Design from the New York Institute of Art and Design. She draws on years of classroom teaching to help preschoolers build vocabulary and confidence as communicators, and she uses her eye for design to make the classroom a warm, inviting place to explore.

Ms. Noopur is an Assistant Toddler Teacher who holds a Master's degree in Mass Communication and spent years teaching and mentoring at the university level before finding her calling with young children. She believes the toddler years are a remarkable time of growth and discovery, and her gentle patience and encouraging approach create a classroom where children feel safe, valued and eager to explore.
