    Mrs Arushi

    Owner
    Miss Arushi is the On-Site Owner of The Goddard School of Hazlet. She has a BS in Industrial Engineering, an MS in Supply Chain Analytics and many years of experience working in business. She is a new mom and has always understood the importance of early childhood education for the development of our children. Arushi is excited to work with the Goddard Hazlet teachers to provide a quality premium childcare education to all the children in our community. Through love and nurture, she hopes to make our school a second home for your children.

    Director - Since 2016
    * Celebrating 7 years * Miss Aimee has over 16 years of experience working with children in both administration and classroom settings. Miss Aimee is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Organizational Innovation. She holds a Master of Arts in Education from Central Michigan University and completed her Bachelor or Arts in Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Psychology and Sociology at Concordia University. Being part of a child's foundation is the most rewarding feeling for Miss Aimee. She is very thankful to be part of a team that is fully dedicated to the overall well being of the children and their development. Her goal is to be "making a difference by mentoring young minds to think without limits."

    Assistant Director
    Morgan is the Assistant Director. They have their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Flagler College with a focus on early childhood development. Morgan has worked with kids for over 10 years, doing various jobs and plans to continue. In her spare time Morgan likes to play volleyball, do yoga, crochet, explore nature, hike, go to the beach, and spend time with family and friends. Their favorite children's book series is the Litter Critter Series. If Morgan wasn't in education, they would be working on a farm. Her goal is "to make a difference in the lives of our future generations."

    Lead Teacher- Since 2011
    * Celebrating 12 years * Miss Christina is the Lead Teacher in our Busy Bees (Kindergarten Prep) Classroom. Miss Christina has an Associates Degree in Education and a Bachelors Degree in Social Services from Montclair State University. Miss Christina has worked in education for over 19 years. On her spare time she enjoys taking pictures, doing puzzles and organizing in addition to spending time with her 3 children. Her favorite children's book is "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom." If Miss Christina wasn't a teacher, she would be a labor and delivery nurse. For Miss Christina, the best part about teaching is "watching them accomplish something they came into my class not being able to do."

    * Celebrating 6 years * Miss Lakisha is the Lead Teacher in our Caterpillars (Preschool II) Classroom. Miss Lakisha joins us with numerous years of childcare experience. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her son. She also enjoys crafting and learning new things to benefit herself and others. Most of all she loves giving hugs! Some of her favorites include pink, writing, and walking by the waterfront. If Miss Lakisha wasn't a teacher, she would be a nurse. The best thing about teaching to Miss Lakisha is "seeing how happy the kids get when they get taught something and realize they can do it."

    Lead Teacher- Since 2016
    * Celebrating 7 years * Miss Maribel is the Lead Teacher in our Butterflies (Pre-Toddler) Classroom. Miss Maribel has worked in the education field for over 16 years. Prior to Goddard, Miss Maribel worked in Special Services as a Paraprofessional in public education. Miss Maribel is certified in Early Childhood Education and has passed her Praxis Test. On her spare time, she is working out, reading and spending time with family. She is always singing, dancing and making sure our pre-toddlers are having fun while they are learning. Some of Miss Maribel's favorites include Spanish food, the color blue/gray, and volleyball. The best part about teaching for Miss Maribel is "I love each and every part of children's learning abilities. My passion is working with children and here at Goddard I get to do that. When I walk into Goddard I feel like I am home."

    *Celebrating 7 Years* Miss Katie is the Lead Teacher in the Sweet Peas (Infant) Classroom. Miss Katie has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Miss Katie has many years of experience working within the Early Education Field. If Miss Katie wasn't a teacher, she would be a child psychologist. Some of her favorite things include purple, pizza, and working out. For Miss Katie the best part about being a teacher is "the children."

    *Celebrating 3 years* Miss Shea is the Lead Teacher in our Frog (Get set) Classroom at The Goddard School. Miss Shea is currently taking courses at the local university and has experience in the Early Childhood field. If Miss Shea wasn't a teacher, she would be a dental assistant. Some of her favorite things include the color pink, pizza and watching the sunset. Miss Shea's favorite quote is "When you can't find the sunshine, be the sunshine." For Miss Shea, the best part about teaching is "the rewarding feeling and spending time with the kids."

    Miss Ashley is an Lead Teacher in our Turtles (Preschool I) Classroom at The Goddard School. Miss Ashley has experience in the Early Childhood field. Her favorite school song is the "Mr. Sun" song. If Miss Ashley wasn't a teacher, she would be a therapist. Some of Miss Ashley's favorite things include the color pink, penne vodka pasta, photography, and volleyball. For Miss Ashley, the best thing about teaching is "helping the children with art projects."

    *Celebrating 2 years* Miss Taylor is the Lead Teacher in the Strawberry Classroom (Toddler) Miss Taylor has experience in the Early Childhood Education field. If Miss Taylor wasn't a teacher, she would be a psychologist. Some of her favorite things include the color pink, buffalo wings, and cheerleading. For Miss Taylor, the best thing about teaching is "watching the kids retain what we teach."

    Miss Marie is a Lead Teacher in the Little Sprouts (First Steps) classroom. Miss Marie is CPR/first aid certified and has experience in the Early Childhood field. "I believe that children learn best through play-based teaching. Each child has different sets of skills and interests best discovered in a hands-on learning environment."

    *Celebrating 4 years* Miss Olivia is the Assistant Teacher in the Frogs (Get Set) Classroom. She has multiple years of experience caring for children and enjoys helping our children learn. If Miss Olivia wasn't a teacher, she would want to be working on a farm. Some of her favorite things include the color green, pizza, reading to the kids, and watching the Elvis movie. Miss Olivia's favorite quote is "The sun will rise, and we will try again!"

    *Celebrating 2 Years* Miss Destiny is an Assistant Teacher in our Turtles (Preschool 1) classroom. Miss Destiny holds a master's in social work from Monmouth University. She received her Associates Degree in Human Services from Brookdale Community College and Bachelor of Arts in Social Works from Rutgers University. Miss Destiny has been working with children for many years in the education setting.

    * Celebrating 7 years * Miss Joanni is an Assistant Teacher in our Strawberries (Toddler) Classroom. Miss Joanni has an Associates from Brookdale Community College. Miss Joanni has over 15 years working with children. On her spare time she enjoys taking trips, swimming and crafting. Her favorite children's book is "Velveteen Rabbit." Some of Miss Joanni's favorite things include, the color pink, penne vodka pasta, and watching football. "With starting a new chapter in my life with Goddard, the void from leaving nursing has been filled with happy, energetic children." For Miss Joanni, the best part about teaching is "the experience of seeing the learning process of small minds and the love the children have."

    * Celebrating 6 years * Miss Marissa is an Assistant Teacher in our Strawberry (toddler) Classroom. Miss Marissa has worked within the Goddard Schools for over 15 years. She brings numerous years of experience working within the Early Education environment. If she wasn't a teacher, Miss Marissa would be a nurse or medical assistant. On her spare time she loves spending time with her family. Some of her favorite things include the color pink, chicken parmesan, science, and hockey. Her favorite children's book is "All the Places you will Go." For Miss Marissa, the best part about teaching is "seeing all the smiles on the children's faces."

    * Celebrating 8 years * Miss Debbie is an Assistant Teacher in our Sweet Peas (Infants) classroom. Miss Debbie has been working with children for many years in the early education environment. If she wasn't a teacher, Miss Debbie would be a nurse. On her spare time, she enjoys Zumba and yoga. Some of Miss Debbie's favorite things include the color pink, pasta and fish, psychology, and football. Miss Debbie often brings the gift of singing and dancing into the classroom. For Miss Debbie, the best part about teaching is the kids.

Miss Leanne has her Bachelor's Degree in Science from the University of Vermont. Miss Leanne has worked with children for over 10 years. In her spare time she loves drinking coffee and spending time with family.

If she wasn't a teacher, Miss Maria would be a health aide. On her spare time she enjoys going to the beach, walking, baseball and golf, and spending time with family. Her favorite children's book is "Are You My Mother?"     Miss Sharanda is the Assistant Teacher in our Little Spouts (First Steps) Classroom. She has experience in early childhood education and is CPR/First Aid certified. Miss Sharanda attended Stockton University and studied Biology. Miss Sharanda aspires to be a Pediatric Genetic Counselor. In her free time, you can find Sharanda in the kitchen cooking meals or in line at Dunkin' Donuts.

    Miss Mitzi is an Assistant Teacher in the Caterpillars (preschool 1) Classroom. Miss Mitzi has her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Mental Health from Stockton University. Miss Mitzi has experience working with children through her many years as a group counselor at a local summer camp. Miss Mitzi believes that "teaching is encouraging and supporting children, especially through the critical years of development."

    Miss Casady is a Flex Teacher at Goddard School. Miss Casady is attending Georgian Court University majoring in early childhood education and has experience working with preschoolers and classroom studies to date. When not working or attending College, Miss Casady enjoys reading, going to concerts, cooking and baking. Her favorite child's song is Run Baby Run. To Miss Casady the best thing about working with children is seeing how each child has their own personality, opinions, likes and dislikes. She enjoys seeing how their individuality shines through as they learn and play. Miss Casady's Favorite Quote is "I've been moving mountains that I once had to climb."

    Miss Madison is an Assistant Teacher in the Sweet Peas (infant) classroom. Miss Madison is currently going to Brookdale Community College for Early Childhood Education. When not caring for children she enjoys art, shopping and spending time with family. Her favorite children's book is The Giving Tree. Miss Madison says the best part about working with children is watching them grow, physically, mentally and emotionally because it's incredible how much they can change in such a short time. Miss Madison's favorite quote is " Your past doesn't decide your future, you do."

    Miss Ashley is the Assistant Teacher in the Butterfly (Pre-Toddler) Classroom. She has experience in early childhood education is and CPR/First Aid certified. Miss Ashley has her Associates Degree from Brookdale Community College. Her dream job is to be a physical education teacher. Some of her favorite past times are watching sports, and chilling with her husband, nephews, and dog. Ashley's favorite part about teaching is "watching the children grow and learn."

    Miss Kyra is a flex teacher here at Goddard but does spend a lot of days in the Sweet Peas (Infant) Room. She is planning on going back to school in January to study Nursing. In her free time Kyra likes to do art and read. Some of her favorite things are the color red, her pets, and mac n' cheese. Kyra's favorite part of working with kids is "seeing them grow and seeing them develop their own personalities."

    Classroom Assistant
    Miss Juliana is a Classroom Assistant here at Goddard School and is often with our Preschool Class Busy Bees. Miss Juliana currently attends Middletown High School North and plans to attend college to study Graphic Design in the future. Juliana's hobbies include playing sports, listening to music, drawing, playing guitar and doing graphic design. Her favorite Children's Book is Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss. Juliana says the best thing about working with children is that they can talk about any little thing with me. Their funny ideas always make me laugh and I love how they run to me when they see me.     Miss Isabela is a Classroom Assistant at Goddard School. Miss Isabela currently attends Mast High School and will graduate in 2025. Miss Isabela plays softball for Raritan High School and also does skimboarding. Miss Isabela plans to attend college and study Veterinary Medicine in the future. Her favorite Children's book is No, David! Miss Isabela says the best this about working with children is learning each of their personalities and connecting with them. Miss Isabela's favorite quote is "How can the sky be the limit when people have been to the moon."

    Classroom Assistant
    Mr. Carter is a Classroom Assistant at Goddard School. Mr. Carter currently attends MAST High School and will graduate in 2025. Mr. Carter plays football and lacrosse for Middletown High School North. At MAST he is involved with multiple clubs, sophomore class president, and is on the drill team and the color guard team. Mr. Carter plans to attend the United States Naval Academy in the future. Mr. Carter's favorite quote is "if not me, then who" by Travis Manion.

    Miss Alyssa is a classroom support teacher here at Goddard. She goes to Moore Catholic Highschool is projected to graduate in 2024. Miss Alyssa is CPR/First Aid certified. She wants to go to school for early childhood education to be able to continue working with kids in the future. Her favorite part about working with kids is seeing them learn and hearing their funny reactions to things. Miss Alyssa's favorite children's book series is "No, David" by David Shannon.
