I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and many years of experience working in Management. Having raised 2 kids while working full time, I understand the need for a caring, nurturing and trusting place for your children. I come from a family of educators, and believe that creating strong educational foundation for children in early years is necessary for their future academic success. Our goal at The Goddard School of Morrisville is to provide a premium program that provides the foundations in social, emotional, and intellectual development led by highly qualified teachers in a safe, nurturing environment. Hello! My name is Beatrice Smith, but most people call me Ms. Bea. I have been an educator since 1990 and part of the Goddard Family since 2012. I have obtained an Associate Degree in Health Administration, a Bachelor’s in Industrial Organizational Psychology, and a Master’s in Education. I have owned and operated a residential home daycare and a 5-star commercial center. I have also worked as a Kindergarten – Ninth grade art and drama teacher, as well as an grades 1-5 elementary teacher. In my personal time, I work alongside my husband in ministry and love spending time with my grandchildren. As a teacher, I find the philosophy of instructing by example and through engagement has allowed me to guide the children on how to be the best at anything they attempt to do by respecting their individuality and giving them the confidence to try. Every morning, I get up excited about what I can learn from the children.

My name is Jakayla Allen-Credle. I graduated from Wake Technical Community College with an Associate of the Arts in Early Childhood Education. I am now on the journey to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education Administration. I have worked with children in a professional setting since 2013. I have worked with all ages from infants to teenagers, primarily working with toddlers and preschoolers. It brings me joy to see children excited about learning, and I am leading and guiding other educators to do the same. In my spare time, I enjoy being active in ministry, shopping and going to the beach. I aim to aid and support your child as an individual to the very best of my ability, encouraging them to express themselves and be creative. Thank you for entrusting me to nurture and educate one of your most prized possessions, this role is not taken lightly!

Mrs. Debbie is a licensed Elementary teacher with an Associates in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelors in English and Master's in Early Childhood Education. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Education. Debbie is the lead teacher of our kindergarten prep class and has been working as an educator for over 20 years and uses her expertise in teaching to prepare her students for what they will need in their educational journey. She has a structured loving class and believes that children will excel when given the proper learning tools and environment.

Ms Tammy has been an educator since 1997 and has a CDA in early childhood education. She brings her experience and love of children into the classroom creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children to learn. Her teaching philosophy is that children should be ablet to learn through play and exploration. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Ms. Safia has obtained her bachelor's degree in health and human services / interdisciplinary early childhood education. She has been an educator since 2019 and has experience working with children ages birth -5 years old. She is caring and nurturing and keep children engaged with her creativity. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children and family. Her teaching philosophy is that every child should be able to have their voice heard and be able to express their individuality.

Ms. Ladarrya has a Bachelor's Degree in Social work and has been an educator since 2020. She is passionate about education and her teaching philosophy is that no child should ever be without an opportunity for learning. She brings her enthusiasm to the classroom through engaging activities to promote a stimulating learning environment. She is currently pursuing her Master's Degree in Social work with a concentration in education. She is a wonderful addition to the Goddard School family.

Ms. Jannat (Preeya) has obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences, and has been an educator since 2021. She brings her enthusiasm and love of teaching to the 1-year-old classroom. Her teaching philosophy is that children can learn and grow with guidance and support from teachers that respect their individuality. Her goal is to inspire children to be their most authentic self, appreciating all and who they are.

Ms. Mercedes Alston has been working in childcare since 2013. She has a bachelor's degree in Sociology with a concentration in Social Work and has also obtained her NC Early Childhood teaching credentials. She has two beautiful children, and also teaches dance at her dance studio. Her greatest reward in working in childcare is understanding and being gifted with the patience to assist children to learn and explore. I love to dance, cook, and read. It is a pleasure to service children and their families. She looks forward to the many relationships that we will build together during her time with each child.

Ms. Zharia is currently pursuing her bachelor's in early childhood education. She is passionate about being an educator and has been a part of The Goddard School family since 2022. She enjoys teaching by example in and out of the classroom. Her teaching philosophy is one that exposes children to creative activities that makes curriculum come to life. In her spare time, she spends time with her family especially her grandmother.

Ms. A'Zaria has been an educator since 2019 and enjoys teaching in the older toddler classroom. She is a mother 2 boys and loves spending time teaching them by example. Her teaching philosophy is engaging children with things that interest them. She is a very child focused teacher and is a great addition to The Goddard School.

Ms. Ranyn has been an educator since 2020 and is the proud mother of three. She is a loving and nurturing teacher who loves working with infants. She adores seeing the changes in their development and supports them with each milestone. She is very attentive to the needs of the children and ensures that while in her care every child will have the chance to thrive and grow. She is a great addition to The Goddard School.

Ms. Tisha has brings her experience as a children special needs case worker to the classroom. She is patient and nurturing engaging the children with activities that teach the foundations of learning. She creates a loving and supportive atmosphere in which children thrive and grow. Her teaching philosophy is that given opportunity children can accomplish anything. She feels that it's her responsibility to make sure children are loved, heard, and appreciated for who they are. Ms. Tisha is a great part of The Goddard Family.

Ms. Ayana has been an educator since 2022 and is currently pursuing a degree in marketing and business administration. She is an artist at heart and uses her talents to create and inspire engaging activities with the children. In her spare time, she attends college and enjoys time with her family. She is a great addition to The Goddard School Family.

Ms. Ruzaika has been an educator since 2021 and is the early 2-year-old teacher. She believes that early childhood education is the most important factor that shapes a child's love of learning for a lifetime. Her goal is to teach children social, emotional, and cognitive skills that will give them the best towards a successful educational journey. Her teaching philosophy is to pour out love and support in the classroom making it a special place for learning and growth.

Ms. Shilpa has a Master's Degree in Electronics and Communication, while in India Ms. Shilpa worked as an assistant professor. Ms. Shilpa then transferred to the United States to work and study in the field of Child Development; obtaining a second Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mission College located in California. Ms. Shilpa is experienced in Montessori and play based teaching. She has a loving husband and one beautiful daughter. She enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and teaching children.

Ms. Madhu has been a part of The Goddard Family since 2024 and is a loving teacher bringing her love of education to the classroom. She is a great asset in the classroom bringing her joyful personality to childcare. She keeps the children engaged as she teaches them learning goals that will last them a lifetime.

Ms. Lakshmi has a Master's Degree in Computer Application, and has been an educator since 2023. She is a loving and nurturing teacher that children love. She brings her loving demeanor to the classroom and creates an environment for learning. She is very artistic and creative and teaches the children to trust in themselves. She instills confidence in all of the children that she meet.
