    Malvika has a Bachelor's degree in Economics and earned her Masters in Business Administration from Virginia Tech. She is thrilled to be able to provide The Goddard School's outstanding accredited program to the children and families in the Concord, Kannapolis and surrounding communities. Fun Fact: Enjoys running & singing
  • Ms Delathia

    Ms Delathia

    Executive Director
    Ms. Delathia (Dee) is the Executive Director at TGS. She has a Bachelors of Arts in Education as well as an Associates in Early Childhood Education. She has been in the education field since 1997 and has held a variety of positions, working with all age groups. She plans to earn a Master's Degree in the near future. As an educator, she strives to instill a love for learning in children. She is excited to be a part of The Goddard School family. Fun Fact: Ms. Dee enjoys competitive bowling.

    Ms Sahara

    Director-Operations
    Mrs. Sahara was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and her Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She has enjoyed caring for children for 10+ years and a fun fact about Mrs. Sahara is that she and her husband enjoys roller skating across the world.

    Ms Chaaya

    Assistant Director
    Ms. Chaaya is a graduate of Central Cabarrus High School in Concord, NC. She is a Walden University graduate in Early Childhood Development and has an Infant and Toddler Certification from Stanly Community College. She has been teaching since 2018. She believes that every child has a unique way of learning. She loves teaching children to help them learn, grow, and build bonds. Fun Fact: Ms. Chaaya enjoys going to the park , baking, painting, and traveling.
  • Ms Jennifer

    Ms Jennifer

    Teacher
    Ms. Jen earned her CDA (Bilingual) from Rasmussen University in Bloomington, MN and received her NC credentials from Central Piedmont Community College. She believes that all children learn differently and enjoys giving them a hands-on experience. She loves watching their minds as work as they learn without knowing that they are learning. Fun fact: Ms. Jen loves to bake and spend time with her family.

    Ms Jada

    Teacher
    Ms. Jada is currently working towards getting her Psychology and Early Childhood Development Degree. She has been in the education field for over 2 years, but has been working with children most of her life. She loves watching children learn and grow so they can become great like she knows they can be. Fun Fact: Ms. Jada enjoys doing makeup in her free time.

    Ms. Radha earned her degree in Teachers Training and B.A. from Annamali University in India. She previously worked as a Primary School Teacher in Dharmapuri, India. Her passion for teaching came at an early age as she loves spending time with children. She believes that every child learns at a different pace and we have to allow them to develop their skills. Fun Fact: Ms. Radha enjoys cooking, music, and spending time with her family.

    Ms. Kalisa graduated from West Stanly High School and has been working in the education field since 1996. We are excited to have her here at The Goddard School. She enjoys watching the children grow and learn new things everyday. Fun Fact: Ms. Kalisa likes to travel and loves ice cream.

    Ms Vanessa

    Teacher
    Ms. Vanessa earned her Education Degree from the teaching school Universidade Guarulhos - Brazil. Ms. Vanessa has been in education for 22 years, 7 of them being in early childhood education. She believes that no kid should be left behind and she enjoys seeing their development everyday.

    Ms. Alexia (Lexi) was born and raised in Florida. She earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Livingstone College. She has been working with children since 2020. A fun fact about Ms. Lexi is that she is also a dancer and crafter.

    Ms. Amber earned her BA in Liberal Arts with a minor in Elementary Education from Greensboro College in Greensboro, NC. She has been an early childhood educator since 2015. She enjoys the rapid growth of the infant to preschool years and how eager her students are to absorb and learn everything. She believes that learning through play is the best way for young children to grow. Fun fact: Ms. Amber loves reading and reads about six books a month.

    Mrs Lakisha

    Ms. Lakisha has a Bachelor of Science in Birth to Kindergarten Education from Winston Salem University. She has been in the field of education for 13 years. She believes each child should be met where they are and do not have the same learning level, so you need to know them individually. Fun fact, she loves to travel around the world.

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Kayden is currently enrolled at Rowan Cabarrus Community College pursuing her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education B-K. She has been teaching children for four years. She has worked with children of all ages up through Pre-K. She enjoys the children being able to explore and learn on their own. Fun Fact: She has traveled to 32 states so far. She took a gap year after high school to travel across the country in a RV.
  • Ms Fredtavia

    Ms Fredtavia

    Ms. Tavia is currently working towards her Bachelor of Science in Birth to Kindergarten Education at Shaw University. She has completed the North Carolina Early Childhood Credential Certificate. She has been working in the field of Education for over 9 years. She enjoys fostering each child to assume challenges and responsibilities. She enjoys working with them to develop self-confidence and a positive self-image. Fun Fact: She has always wanted to teach. she is also a child hairstylist.
  • Ms Madeline

    Ms Madeline

    Teacher
    Ms. Madeline is a graduate of Pace High School in New York. she is currently enrolled at Rowan Cabarrus Community College in Early Childhood Education. She has been teaching for 10 years and has worked with children ranging in age from infant to middle school. She believes in encouraging self-esteem by allowing children to embrace individually to set them apart from their peers. Fun Fact: She is a traveling tattoo artist and piercer. She is self-taught and specializes in hand poke tattoos which is manual.

    Ms. Mukta has a Masters Degree in Commerce from BAMU University in India. She has been in the field of education for two months. She believes that all children are unique. She strives to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment in which students are engaged in their learning process. Fun Fact: She likes to spend time with her family and her hobbies include art, cooking, traveling, and gardening.

    Ms. Shelby is currently completing her Associate's Degree in Arts at Rowan Cabarrus Community College. She has completed her North Carolina Early Childhood Education Credentials. She has been working with infant children for 2 years. She is centered on fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment, where each child feels valued and empowered to reach their full potential.

    Ms. Lakya graduated from the Performance Learning Center. She has been working with children since 2021. She believes all children deserve a safe and happy learning environment to help them grow mentally, physically, and emotionally.

    Virginia (Ginger)

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Ginger earned her BA in Health and Physical Education with a minor in Biology from Carson-Newman University in Jefferson City, Tennessee. She has been an educator for over thirty years having spent 20 years as a second-grade teacher; she has been with The Goddard School since 2016. As a passionate teacher, she believes it is important to understand that every child learns differently and at their own pace. She uses hands on, creative play to teach social and cognitive skills. Fun fact: Ms. Ginger enjoys the excitement of getting on a plane and traveling to visit family and friends.
