Our Goddard School Teachers

Ms. Becky has her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from William Jewell College. She's been working with children and families since 2002 and has experience as a teacher, assistant director, health & safety director and center director. She is a proud mom of 3 girls and in her free time she enjoys attending the Kansas City Chiefs & Current games!

Maggie was born and raised in Maryville, MO. and attended Northwest Missouri State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Studies. Maggie has worked in a variety childcare settings, including another Goddard School. Maggie says her favorite thing about working with kids is getting to know all their personalities and watching them learn and grow. A fun fact about Ms. Maggie is she has two Golden Retrievers named Ozzie and Mac!

Ms. Becca has dedicated over 28 years to childcare and education, primarily as a Pre-K teacher, with experience as a long-term substitute high school ELA teacher. She holds an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. In 2023, Becca completed her student teaching in 3rd grade with the Liberty Public School District. Ms. Becca's passions as a teacher are reading, science, and social-emotional learning. Married with three children, four grandsons, and two granddaughters, Ms. Becca is also an avid Oregon Ducks football fan. An interesting fact about her is that she loves musical theater and singing.

Ms. Brooke joined our team in July 2024, bringing over two decades of experience in childcare, primarily with infants and toddlers. She has a deep passion for nurturing young minds and finds immense joy in witnessing the moment a child’s eyes light up as they master a new skill. Outside of work, Brooke enjoys curling up with a good book, playing The Sims 4, and spending quality time with her beloved cat, Luna. She has a particular fondness for the cozy days of late autumn and the crisp chill of winter. Ms. Brooke's warmth and genuine love for children make her a cherished member of our infant classroom.

We are so happy to have Ms. Toni in our Goddard family and for all she brings to the table! Ms. Toni has worked with children for years. It all started when her grandmother had her own in-home daycare and Ms. Toni would come help. Since then, her love for children has continued to grow. Ms. Toni loves to hang out with her family and spend time with her two kiddos. A fun fact about Ms. Toni is she loves to bake and wanted to be a professional baker when she was little.

Ms. Claire has been teaching at Goddard since February 2022. She dedicated her senior year of high school to the Educational Internship Program, where she acquired skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and meaningful interactions with children. Claire attended Missouri State University and earned her Child Development Associate credential in the spring of 2024. A fun fact about Claire is that she is the oldest of five girls in her family.

Ms. Christina joined our faculty in May 2024 as a teacher in our First Steps classroom. She loves assisting our youngest learners as they overcome challenges and reach new milestones in their educational journey. Outside the classroom, Christina enjoys crocheting, playing video games, and spending time with her daughter and their two huskies. We are thrilled to have Christina as a part of our Liberty Goddard team!

Ms. Chrissy joined our team in 2025, and we couldn’t be happier! Ms. Chrissy has worked with children since 2017 and with children of all ages! One thing she loves about working with kids is seeing all their smiling faces each day! Ms. Chrissy is originally from Independence and has one younger brother, who is her best friend. In her free time she likes to hang out with her dog and her twin kitties, hike, and play Fortnite! One fun fact about Ms. Chrissy is that she can slightly speak Italian.

Ms. Monique began working in early childhood education in 2014 and obtained her Child Development Associate credential in 2023. Monique relocated to Kansas City from Colorado and joined our faculty in February 2022. She says her main goal as a teacher is to help her students to thrive and be the best they can be. A fun fact about Monique is she is a huge Chiefs fan, despite being raised in Colorado.

Ms. Ava joined the Goddard team in October 2024 as a support teacher, working between the toddler and bridge classrooms. Her passion for caregiving began at a young age, helping care for her nieces and nephews, which led to babysitting and nannying for other families. Ava is dedicated to nurturing and educating young minds, striving to make a positive impact every day. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, exploring the outdoors, and playing with her cat, Ludo.

Arianna joined our team in April 2024, bringing dedication, warmth, and endless patience to our two's classroom. She delights in connecting with the children through humor and creative art activities. Outside of work, she likes spending time with her family's four dogs and pet fish. Fun fact: Arianna hails from Washington state!

Ms. Hannah joined our team in August 2022, bringing a wealth of excitement and joy to our Get Set classroom. Residing in the Liberty area with her family and two cats, Mittens and Gus, Hannah enjoys spending her free time walking trails and painting. A fun fact about Hannah is that she dreams of going skydiving one day.

Ms. Elizabeth has joined our Get Set classroom and we are so happy to have her! Ms. Elizabeth has worked with children for about 4 years. She has worked with all ages, but she has primarily been with the two year olds. Some fun facts about Ms. Elizabeth are she has 4 dogs and she is named after both of her grandmas!

Ms. Kelly began teaching at the early childhood level in 2017 and has been with The Goddard School for four years. She loves spending time with her son, reading, watching TV, and is a huge Harry Potter fan. A fun fact about Ms. Kelly is that she convinced the front office to allow a pet fish in her classroom; Mr. Bubbles has been a wonderful addition to the school.

Meet Ms. Rilee! Ms. Rilee has joined our Goddard team and has found her home in our Bridge classroom. She has worked with children for a few years and has her certificate in early education. One reason she loves working with kids is being able to see theie developmental growth. Some fun facts about Ms. Rilee is that she has 2 dogs, she loves to hang out with friends and family, and she helps work on dirt race cars. We are so happy to have Ms. Rilee on the Goddard Team!

Ms. Jessica has dedicated over 18 years to childcare, with experience at The Goddard School in Olathe, KS. She resides in Smithville with her husband and their three youngest children. Her oldest son is currently attending the University of Kansas. Jessica is thrilled to be working in preschool and getting to know the students and families. An interesting fact about Jessica is her passion for antiquing, particularly collecting bird figurines.

Lynsie joined our team in October 2022. Her dedication and enthusiasm have positively impacted both our students and their families. In her free time, Lynsie enjoys watching movies and reading. She has a dog named KC, and an interesting fact is she has a twin sister named Rylan.

We are so thankful to have Ms. Kara in our Goddard Family. Ms. Kara comes to us with almost 20 years of experience working with kids! She has worked with Preschool and Prek the most and truly enjoys it. Ms. Kara loves working with kids and hearing their ideas and stories each day. She also enjoys watching them learn and grow! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 3 kids and her family. A fun fact about Ms. Kara is that her grandparents founded TJ Cinnamons!

Ms. Sophia joined our team in July 2022 and has been thoroughly enjoying her time teaching at Goddard. She loves working with children and has built strong connections with them. Originally from Georgia, Sophia now lives in the Liberty area and has lived in five different states throughout her life. She enjoys drawing, writing, and spending time outdoors. One of her favorite activities is walking her three dogs, Raleigh, Rowan, and Riggs.

Ms. Stephanie joined our Pre-K team in August 2023. She is looking forward to the upcoming school year and getting to know her new students and families. Stephanie has worked in education for 3 years and is currently in school to finish her degree in Elementary Education. Stephanie is married and has 4 sons. A fun fact about Stephanie is she loves singing, writing and crafting.

Ms. Rachel has spent more than 15 years working with Prek and we are so glad to have her on the Goddard Prek team. She loves being able to build relationships with each child and takes pride in helping them develop a love for learning and independence. Ms. Rachel has four kids of her own and two grandchildren. One fun fact about Ms. Rachel is that she has one dog named Jake!

Ms. Sam joined the Goddard team in October 2024. Ms Sam has worked with children for several years and has earned her bachelor's degree in social work. She loves being able to watch children grow and learn! Ms. Sam loves the Kansas City Chiefs and hanging out with her 3-year-old son! One fun fact about Ms. Sam is that she collects large mugs!

Ms. Nancy has worked in childcare for over 20 years in a Montessori school setting as a teacher and a team leader. She graduated from the University of Tulsa with a degree in Elementary Education. She also has her Montessori certification. Ms. Nancy has two daughters: Ava and Stella, and a French bulldog named Calvin Klein. In her free time she loves watching her daughters play tennis, spending time with her friends, and traveling with her family. Their favorite destination is Mexico! A fun fact about Ms. Nancy is that she enjoys Orange Theory Fitness!

We are so excited to have Ms. Jazlynn join our Goddard family! Ms. Jazlynn has worked with kids for the last 4 years and specifically enjoys working with the 1-year-olds! Her favorite thing about teaching is getting to know all the kids and building relationships with them. She enjoys watching all kids learn and grow. Some fun facts about Ms. Jazlynn is that she has three sisters and she is from Seattle, Washington.

We are beyond happy to have Ms. Leah working with our younger classrooms. Ms. Leah has worked with kids for around a year and her favorite part about working with children is seeing their sweet faces each day and watching them learn! Some fun facts about Ms. Leah are that she loves to clean and organize and she also has a 1 year old daughter named Aspyn! We are so thankful to have Ms. Leah on our team!

Ms. Chandler is one of our first teachers hired at the Goddard School of Liberty and has worked in childcare since she was eighteen. Chandler enjoys seeing how all children learn and grow. Chandler is attending Park University, pursuing a degree in education. In her spare time, she enjoys watching Adam Sandler films and cooking stir-fry meals.

Ms. Sophie has recently graduated from Missouri State University with a bachelor’s in child and Family Development and is working towards her masters in school counseling from Kansas State University. Ms. Sophie loves being able to watch children learn and grow through play and enjoys making new relationships with families. One fun fact about Ms. Sophie is she likes Elvis and went to Graceland for her 16th birthday! We are so thankful to have Ms. Sophie in our Goddard family!

Ms. Diana has been working in childcare for over 15 years and enjoys working with all ages. Diana is married and has three children. She also has a dog named Luna and several betta fish. Diana enjoys watching movies, fishing, and going on walks with her family. Diana says she is looking forward to working with her co-teacher and getting to know the children in her class. A fun fact about Diana is she collects Cinderella related items.

Ms. Samantha is now part of the Goddard family and were so happy to have her! She grew up in Excelsior Springs and still lives there with her husband. She has a cat named Yoshi and she enjoys reading and walking outside. She has a year of working with kiddos under her belt and enjoys seeing them every day! One fun fact about Ms. Samantha is she loves to cook!

Miss Mara has worked as a teacher’s aide, a nanny, and has been with The Goddard School of Liberty since we opened. Mara is currently attending college working toward her degree in marketing. In her free time, Mara likes to travel and spend time with her puppy.

Ms. Miranda joined our team in January 2026, bringing a wealth of excitement and joy to our Two’s and Get Set classrooms. Ms. Miranda grew up in Excelsior Springs, along side her sister, our very own Ms. Sam! She enjoys hanging out with her friends and family and watching the KC Mavericks or the Idaho Steelheads. She is excited in her journey of working with children and always enjoys watching them learn and form close relationships. A fun fact about Ms. Miranda is that she likes to weld and went to welding school!

We are so thankful to have Ms. Andi on our team! Ms. Andi has been working with children for several years as a teacher and made the swtich to cook within the last few years. Ms. Andi's favorite thing about her job is seeing all the kids each day. Some fun facts about Ms. Andi are she has six kiddos of her own and enjoys doing arts and crafts with them.

Ms. Emery has found her home with the Goddard School! Ms. Emery helps in our preschool classrooms, but you may also find her helping clean toys and varies areas of the school. Ms. Emery enjoys working with kids because they always keep her guessing and on the move! One fun fact about Ms. Emery is that she is on the varsity team for speech and debate at her school. Make sure to stop and make some time to say “hello!” to Ms. Emery!

Ms. Lauren has been working with children for the last two years and brings her knowledge to our preschool classrooms! Ms. Lauren loves working with kids because she enjoys helping them become smarter, kinder, and more empathetic people. Her favorite thing about preschool is seeing all the different personalities come out. Some fun facts about Ms. Lauren are she has five brothers (one being a twin!) and she plays college D2 soccer.
