Ms. Becky has worked in childcare for over 18 years. Ms. Becky has worked as a teacher, Assistant Director, Health & Safety Director and Center Director for over 11 years. She graduated from William Jewell College with a degree in Psychology, emphasis in Education. Ms. Becky is married and has three girls: Emery, Joselyn & Addie. She is very busy with her girls' sports but when she finds free time she likes to travel and explore. A fun fact about Ms. Becky is she has completed the Tough Mudder 5 times, Rugged Maniac 6 times and others.

Mr. Daniel joined our Liberty Goddard team as our Director of Education in November 2022. He taught at our Overland Park location for 5 years. Daniel graduated from Knox College in Illinois with two bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Educational Studies and Studio Art. Daniel is married and has a dog named Viola. In his free time, Daniel enjoys visiting National and State Parks, walking his dog, playing video games and spending time with his wife. A fun fact about Daniel is he was an exchange student to Germany in high school.

Ms. Diana has been working in childcare for over 15 years and enjoys working with all ages. Diana is married and has three children. She also has a dog named Luna and several betta fish. Diana enjoys watching movies, fishing, and going on walks with her family. Diana says she is looking forward to working with her co-teacher and getting to know the children in her class. A fun fact about Diana is she collects Cinderella related items.

Ms. Maddi joined our team in October 2023. She brings boundless enthusiasm and warmth to the Infant classroom. Beyond her dedicated care for our youngest learners, she is a multi-faceted individual with a passion for art, culinary creativity, and outdoor pursuits like hunting. Ms. Maddi enjoys spending time with her cats Peaches & Beanie and her puppy Levi.

Miss Claire has been teaching at Goddard since February 2022. She dedicated her senior year of high school to the Educational Internship Program, where she acquired skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and meaningful interactions with children. Claire attended Missouri State University and earned her Child Development Associate credential in the spring of 2024. A fun fact about Claire is that she is the oldest of five girls in her family.

Ms. Lisa joined our Goddard Team in March of 2024, bringing with her 4 years of experience in childcare. Prior to her tenure as an early childhood educator, she served as a Phlebotomist and lab technician in a healthcare setting. Originally from Ohio, she pursued studies in mortuary sciences before relocating to Kansas City in 2015. Beyond her professional endeavors, she is a devoted dog mom who cherishes life, the outdoors, and spending quality time with family and friends. Ms. Lisa finds great joy in the arts and witnessing the transformative moment when her students grasp new skills and concepts.

Miss Mara has worked as a teacher’s aide, a nanny and has been with The Goddard School of Liberty since we opened. Mara is currently attending college working toward her degree in marketing. Mara loves spending time with friends and family and shopping for anything pink.

Ms. Rylan is so excited to begin her journey into childcare here with us at The Goddard School. Rylan spends her spare time volunteering with kids and youth at her church and hanging out with her friends. She is currently working on her Associate’s in Arts degree at Maple Woods. Rylan has a dog named KC. A fun fact about Rylan is she loves to go to the beach.

Ms. Monique recently moved to Kansas City from Colorado. She has been working in early childhood education for over 9-years and recently completed her CDA (Child Development Associate) qualifications. She says her main goal as a teacher is to help her students to thrive and be the best they can be. A fun fact about Monique is she is a huge Chiefs fan, despite being raised in Colorado.

Ms. Sofi became a member of our team in October 2023, joining our Toddler classroom as a dedicated faculty support staff member. With approximately 2 years of hands-on experience in childcare and afterschool programs, she is well-equipped to nurture the growth and development of our young learners. Ms. Sofi's deep passion for early childhood education shines through in her commitment to helping our students achieve their developmental milestones and fostering a lifelong love for learning. Her dedication extends beyond the classroom, as she pursues a full-time education at Park University. Currently, she is immersing herself in the worlds of art and childhood development, further enriching her expertise to benefit our students and our community.

Miss Kelly has over 6-years’ experience in early childcare including 2-years for one of the Lee’s Summit Goddard Schools. She loves spending time with her son, reading an watching TV and is a huge Harry Potter fan. A fun fact about Miss Kelly is she was able to convince the front office to have a pet fish in her classroom, Bluey has been a wonderful addition to the school.

Miss Hannah has worked in childcare for over a year and is excited to join the Liberty Goddard team. Hannah lives in the Liberty area with her family and two cats, Mittens and Gus. Hannah enjoys walking trails and painting with her family. A fun fact about Hannah is she would like to go skydiving one day.

Ms. McKenzie has worked in childcare for over 4 years. McKenzie has her Associate’s in Arts degree and is currently finishing coursework to become Director qualified. McKenzie enjoys shopping, painting, and watching football in her spare time. A fun fact about McKenzie is she loves to hunt with her sister and father.

Ms. Sophia says she is enjoying teaching at Goddard. She loves to work with children and has enjoyed getting to know them. Sophia lives in the Liberty area now; but was born in Georgia. She has actually lived in 5 states throughout her life. Sophia enjoys drawing, writing, and just being outside. One of her favorite things to do is to walk her 3 dogs, Raleigh, Rowan, and Riggs.

Ms. Tierra has worked in childcare as a Lead Preschool and Pre-K teacher for several years before joining us here at The Goddard School. Tierra received her bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development from the University of Central Missouri in 2020. In the future, Tierra hopes to become a play and art therapist for families. A fun fact about Tierra is she is a very talented artist and enjoys painting, making custom shoes and clothing.

Miss Ayana has worked in childcare since she was 16 years old. Ayana has worked with all ages, but mostly pre-school aged children. She is currently working towards her degree in Early Childhood Education. Ayana is excited to be at Goddard and is looking forward to getting to know the students and families. A fun fact about Ayana is that she is the middle child and the only girl in her family.

Ms. Kate has worked in the field of early childhood education since 2019. She holds an associate's degree in elementary education and will soon be pursuing a bachelor's degree. When she's not teaching, she enjoys relaxing with her husband and two dogs.

Ms. Emily joined our Goddard Family in January 2024 as one of our preschool teachers. She has been working as an early childhood educator since the age of 16 and is currently pursuing her degree in Elementary Educational Studies. When she's not teaching, she enjoys reading, cooking, crafting, exercising, and spending time with her twin boys.

Maggie was born and raised in Maryville, MO. and attended Northwest Missouri State University, where she graduated with a degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Studies. Maggie has worked in a variety childcare settings, including another Goddard School. Maggie said her favorite thing about working with kids is getting to know all their different personalities and being able to watch them grow over the year she has them in her class. Maggie has two golden retrievers and a cat. A fun fact about Maggie is she still has season passes to Worlds or Fun.

Ms. Stephanie joined our team in August 2023. Ms. Stephanie holds an associates of Arts degree and graduated summa cum laude. She is working on a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Ms. Stephanie enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her four sons and husband.

Ms. Saige recently graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with her bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal Communications and Business. Ms. Saige lives in the Liberty area with her family and 4 dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family and going to the gym. A fun fact about Saige is she was a swimmer in high school.

Ms. Becca has worked in childcare and education for over 20 years. She spent most of that time as a Pre-K teacher and most recently worked as a substitute teacher, including a long-term stint as a high school ELA teacher. Becca has an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Becca has recently went back to finish up her teacher certification and student teaching in the Liberty Public School District. Becca is married, has 3 children and 4 grandsons. She also has a cat named Callie. Ms. Becca is a huge KC Chiefs fan and Oregon Ducks fan. A fun fact about Becca is she loves to sing and musical theatre.

Ms. Darion is currently attending UMKC to obtain her degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. Prior to joining Goddard Darion worked in an elementary school setting. Ms. Darion is recently married and loves spending time with her husband and their dog Dexter. A fun fact about Darion is she collects snow globes when she travels.

Miss Emma has been working as an early childhood educator since 2019. She has experience working with all age groups, but she particularly loves working with infants and toddlers. Miss Emma is CPR and First Aid certified. She enjoys watching the personalities of her youngest students bloom as they learn and grow. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her two cats, Bug and Thumb, and engage in painting and drawing.

Ms. Alexis is currently finishing her nursing degree and works in nearly every room at the school. Alexis lives at home with her family and two dogs in her spare time she enjoys watching TV, reading, drawing, and hanging out with her friends. A fun fact about Alexis is she know how to do flips!

Miss Chandler is one of our first teachers hired at the Goddard School of Liberty and has worked in childcare since she was eighteen. Chandler enjoys experiencing and sharing all the “firsts” that happen in our youngest classrooms. Chandler is attending Park University, pursuing a degree in education. In her spare time, she enjoys watching Adam Sandler films and cooking stir-fry meals.

Ms. Nancy has worked in childcare for over 20 years in a Montessori school setting as a teacher and a team leader. She graduated from the University of Tulsa with a degree in Elementary Education. She also has her Montessori certification. Ms. Nancy has two daughters: Ava and Stella, and a French bulldog boy named Louis. She is very busy taking her two daughters to tennis, volleyball and other activities. In her free time she loves spending time with her friends, and traveling with her family. Their favorite destination is Mexico! A fun fact about Ms. Nancy is that she enjoys Orange Theory Fitness and often competes in their challenges.

Ms. Danielle became a valuable member of our team in July 2023. With a passion for education, she finds great joy in teaching children in our preschool and pre-kindergarten classrooms. Currently, Danielle is dedicated to pursuing an Associate of Arts in Teaching degree to further enhance her skills and knowledge. In her leisure time, she finds solace in playing the guitar, expressing her creativity through painting, immersing herself in poetry, and cherishing moments with her loved ones.

Ms. Lynsie is so excited to begin her journey into childcare here with us at The Goddard School. Lynsie enjoys watching movies and reading in her spare time. She has 1 dog named KC. A fun fact about Lynsie is she has a twin sister, named Rylan, who also works with us here at Goddard.

Ms. Ally joined our team in January 2024. She started taking child development courses in high school and college and has gained experience working with young children as a babysitter, nanny, and in a licensed childcare center for several years. Her favorite aspect of working with children is how rewarding it is to observe them grow and master new skills. We are delighted to have Ms. Ally assist in our preschool classrooms.
