    Onsite Owner
    Summer Borgmann is the proud new on-site owner of the Goddard School Longview! Summer, her husband David, and their two children live in Lee’s Summit and love being involved in such an active community. In their spare time, you will find Summer and her family outside on a lake, a river, camping or hiking. They love all things outdoors and you'll see evidence of that throughout the school. Summer holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Oregon. She's had various roles throughout her career, however it’s her experience in education and mental health that has sparked a passion for Early Childhood Education. She understands the importance of character development and knows that instilling a love of learning throughout a child's early years sets the tone for the rest of their educational experiences. Summer is passionate about creating a safe, fun learning environment and is extremely honored and excited to partner with you in your child's early learning journey.

    Director Of Education
    Ms. Deanna has her Bachelor's degree in Child Development from the University of Missouri and her Master's degree in Teaching from the University of Central Missouri. She's been working with children and families since 1991 and has experience as a teacher and an administrator. Working with children is her passion in life and seeing them happy and engaged fills her soul! She chose Goddard because of their impeccable reputation and the high expectations it holds for the health and safety of the children. In her free time, Ms. Deanna likes to craft, read, and spend time being an Aunt and Godmother.

    Program Director
    Ms. Kaylee has been in child care for 6 years and is currently obtaining her Bachelor's in Early Education. She is in child care because she loves teaching the children and watching them grow! Her favorite thing about working with children is the lightbulb moments, when a child finally understands something and has a break through. Ms. Kaylee loves to go to Royals/Chiefs games and spending time with family!

    I have been here at the Goddard School since 2022. I was a teacher assistant in JK2 and then I moved into Preschool 2. I have been in the Early Childhood field since 2013, starting like most from babysitting during my teenage years to my first-year gig as a preschool teacher. I enjoy teaching and having fun wit the children, my favorite is when they have their “ah-ha” moments when they have learned something, and they get excited about it. I love everything sports, painting, and the ocean sea life, and love to share my interests with the kids. I look forward to getting to know you and your kids and can’t wait to help them achieve their goals.

    I have been with Goddard since 2021. I am currently a Resource Teacher, I float to different classrooms throughout the building. Before becoming a Resource Teacher I spent time nurturing our sweet infants. I have young Goddard graduate along with 5 other children between my spouse and I. While working I am also studying in the Behavioral Health Field and look forward to what that journey will look like for me and those, I will be able to help. A fun fact I can play the flute, piccolo, and French horn.

    Ms Molly has always loved working with children. She loves seeing them learn and interact with each other. She enjoys the reward of helping them learn about the world around them. Molly has been working with children since she was 13 years old! Her favorite thing about working with children is seeing their personalities grow and see all of the love they share. Outside of work, Ms. Molly loves to exercise, read, and write. Fun Fact: Ms. Molly used to ride horses and was a varsity swimmer in high school!

    I have been working at the Goddard School since 2021 and I have loved every second! I love the toddler age because of funny and loving they are. I also love watching them grow on a day-to-day basis. Outside of work I love spending time my friends and family. I have a daughter named Mallorie who is one and she is wild as can be!

    Ms. Lorelei currently attends college and has worked with children for 2 years. She has always loved working with children. Her favorite thing about being in the child care field is getting to learn each kids personality. Outside of work, Lorelei loves to go to new places with friends! Fun fact: Ms. Lorelei loves sweets and animals! She also loves to do anything fun!

    I have been at Goddard since 2022 and I have primarily worked with Prek and Preschool students. I graduated from Lees Summit West in 2022. My plan is to go to college for Broadcasting. I chose to work at Goddard because I like taking care/helping people so I figured teaching would be a good route. Once I started at Goddard I fell in love with teaching. I enjoy seeing how creative and smart each kid is. It is fascinating that each child has their own thing they are passionate about. Other than teaching I like to spend my free time doing arts and crafts, fun activities, and hanging out with friends. A fun fact about me is that I am adopted, and I live on a farm.

    Ms. Anna has her Certificate in Early Childhood Education. She has always loved children and developing relationships with them. She enjoys watching them grow.     I love teaching in Preschool 1, it is always fun and exciting. Before I started in Early Childhood Education, I was a CNA. I chose to move to the Early Childhood Field because I love to watch my students learn while having fun, it is so rewarding! I also plan to further my education in the Early Childhood Field. In my free time I play volleyball and crochet. Fun Fact about me I know Sign Language.

    I have been working in childcare field for 2 years. I started working with kids in high school. I have always loved kids since I was a kid. I chose childcare because watching kids grow and learn is so heartfelt. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and teaching my son. Fun Fact about me is I have a goal to visit all 50 states by 24, so far I have been to 11.

    I’m Rosa Flores, but everybody calls me Rosi. I’m from Peru and I moved to the US when my husband, who is from Italy, accepted a job in York, Pennsylvania. I met my husband when his company sent him to work in Peru. My two kids were born in Pennsylvania. My daughter is a freshman at Mizzou and my son is in 8th grade at Summit Lakes Middle School. I have a 4-year-old Yorkie named Moka. In Peru I studied and worked in advertising, but after being a mom I discovered my passion for teaching. I believe that parents are a child’s first teachers. I have taken 9 credits of Early Childhood Education at MCC. I have worked in Learning Centers, and at before and after school programs. Besides working part time at Goddard School, I’m teaching Spanish from 1st grade to 5th grade in a private school during the afternoons. I like to cycle with my husband, watch movies and tv shows and talk with my mom and sisters through Skype. Fun fact: at home we speak Spanish, Italian and my kids like to talk in En
