Meet Kristine & Kevin Owners

Hello! We are the Kempl family: Kristine, Kevin, Mason (8) and Soren (3). We are previous (and current) Goddard parents, which led us on this journey to open a Goddard School to share our experience with local families and provide the opportunity for each child to build a strong foundation for school and life. Kristine has a Masters in Occupational Therapy, which focuses on developing or rehabilitating appropriate emotional and motor development across the lifespan. Kevin has a background in business management and entrepreneurship. We believe every child should have the opportunity to excel in a safe, nurturing and enriching environment. We are excited to partner with you and provide an inclusive space for your child to learn and grow. We would love to be an extension of your family! We look forward to hearing from you! From infants and toddlers to pre-K, kindergarten and beyond, our classrooms are designed specifically with your little one’s needs in mind.

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Twos

2 - 3 yrs

In the Twos classroom, experienced, caring teachers guide your child through playful exploration, helping navigate big emotions while providing hands-on learning experiences that nurture their innate curiosity.

Bridge

2.5 - 3.5 yrs

As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

Pre-K

4 - 5 yrs

As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

I really love the welcoming environment of the Novi 2 school. All the teachers know my child by name and will great her as they see her walk in. The owners of this location are so kind, compassionate, and professional. My child really enjoys coming to school each day and often says “yay! That’s my school!” When we arrive in the morning. She’s making friends and learning so much! We appreciate everything this center is doing for our family and the families of those who attend!

All teachers are always engaged with their students/kids. Even walking in, everyone usually greets Elliot as their own. Parents are always considered with events and welcome to join. Spirit week! We love that. Very happy with our decision to join you guys!
