    ONSITE OWNER
    Hasna Belayachi is the Onsite Owner of The Goddard School® of Waldorf, bringing more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education and business leadership. A Goddard leader since 2015, she holds a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Infant and Preschool Child Development Associate® (CDA) credentials, and an MSDE Level 4 Director credential. Fluent in four languages, Hasna brings a valuable global perspective to the School community. She is also the proud mother of two U.S. military service members and has been happily married since 1999. "I believe strong leadership begins with service, integrity, and building meaningful relationships. When teachers feel supported, families feel connected, and children feel valued, extraordinary things happen."     Operations Director
    Operations Director, Ms. Ryan has been part of The Goddard School of Waldorf since July 2021, and currently serves as the Operations Director. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Early Childhood Education and is passionate about supporting high-quality early childhood education programs. Her background in leadership, mental health services, and child development helps her create strong systems that support children, families, and faculty. "Extraordinary schools start with extraordinary leaders. By building strong relationships, supporting our teachers, and creating a safe, engaging environment, we help every child and family thrive." Ms. Templeman enjoys spending time with family and friends and is committed to partnering with Waldorf families and fostering a positive school community.

    Assistant Director
    Assistant Director Ms. Courtney has been a valued member of The Goddard School® of Waldorf since November 2022 and currently serves as Assistant Director. She brings experience working with children in childcare settings and has also supported school-age children and older adults within her community. Ms. Courtney is certified to work with Infants, Toddlers, Preschool, and School-Age children. She has completed CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration Training (MAT), and professional development courses focused on communication and leadership. "I believe every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and build confidence each day." Ms. Courtney is passionate about supporting children, families, and faculty and looks forward to helping create positive learning experiences for every child at The Goddard School of Waldorf.

    Ms. Danielle, Lead Pre-Toddler Teacher Ms. Danielle has been a valued member of The Goddard School® of Waldorf since 2014 and brings more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education, having begun her career in 2001. She is dedicated to providing a nurturing, engaging learning environment where young children can grow, explore, and build confidence. Ms. Danielle holds state-specific education certifications and is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. She is also certified in CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration Training (MAT). As a mother of two, she brings both personal warmth and professional expertise to her classroom. "I believe every child deserves a safe, supportive environment where they feel loved, encouraged, and excited to learn each day." Ms. Danielle looks forward to partnering with Waldorf families and helping each child build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

    Private Kindergarten Lead Teacher
    Ms. Lydia, Lead Private Kindergarten Teacher Ms. Lydia has been a valued member of The Goddard School® of Waldorf since October 2016 and serves as our Lead Private Kindergarten Teacher. With experience in early childhood education dating back to 2008, she is passionate about helping children develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Ms. Lydia holds a Bachelor of Education in Home Economics, Preschool and Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate® (CDA) credentials, and state-specific education certifications. She has earned a Level 6 Early Childhood Education credential and maintains CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration Training (MAT) certifications. As a mother of three, Ms. Lydia understands that every child learns differently and believes in nurturing each child's unique strengths and abilities.     Ms. Keana, Lead Pre-K 2 Teacher Ms. Keana has been part of The Goddard School® of Waldorf since July 2023. Born in Guam, she has lived in Florida, Okinawa, Hawaii, Virginia, and Maryland, bringing a unique perspective to the classroom and appreciation for diverse cultures and experiences. "I believe in creating a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to learn." Ms. Keana enjoys helping children discover their unique strengths and build confidence through hands-on learning and meaningful experiences. She values creating strong relationships with families and believes every child can succeed when given encouragement, support, and opportunities to explore their world. Ms. Keana is passionate about fostering a positive classroom community where children feel respected, encouraged, and excited to learn. She enjoys supporting each child's social, emotional, and academic development while helping them build skills that will last a lifetime.

    Ms. Cynatra, Teacher Ms. Cynatra Smith was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and relocated to Maryland in 2021. She brings more than 10 years of experience in early childhood education and is passionate about supporting children during their foundational years of growth and development. "I strive to create a classroom environment where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn each day." Ms. Cynatra is a nurturing, patient, and engaging educator who enjoys helping children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends. She is grateful to be part of The Goddard School® of Waldorf family and looks forward to partnering with families throughout each child's learning journey.

    Ms. Dana, Lead Teacher Ms. Dana has been a valued member of The Goddard School® of Waldorf since December 2023 and serves as our Lead Infant Teacher. With more than 33 years of experience in early childhood education, she brings extensive knowledge and dedication to the children and families she serves. Her experience includes working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children. Ms. Dana holds a Child Development Associate® (CDA) credential and continues to pursue professional growth through college coursework in Early Childhood Education. She has also completed CPR, communication, and various early childhood education trainings. "I love preparing meaningful learning experiences and watching children grow, develop, and reach new milestones every day." Ms. Dana is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where infants can thrive and grow.

    Ms. Hamideh, Pre-Toddler Teacher Ms. Hamideh has been a valued member of The Goddard School® of Waldorf since January 2023 and is passionate about supporting young children as they learn and grow. She brings a unique combination of educational and professional experience to the classroom. Ms. Hamideh holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and a master's degree in Public Management. Prior to joining Goddard, she spent eight years tutoring students and helping them build confidence and academic skills. She is also continuing her own educational journey by studying English at the College of Southern Maryland. "I believe patience, flexibility, and encouragement help every child feel supported and successful in their learning journey." Ms. Hamideh enjoys creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore. She looks forward to partnering with Waldorf families and helping each child thrive.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, she enjoys supporting young children as they learn, grow, and develop new skills. As a mother of three, Ms. Maria understands the importance of patience, individualized attention, and building trusting relationships with children and families. "I believe children learn best in a safe, welcoming environment where they feel encouraged to explore, discover, and build confidence in themselves and the world around them." Ms. Maria is committed to helping create a positive learning environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to succeed. With more than three years of experience in early childhood education, she is passionate about creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive. Ms. Kyra holds a degree in Early Education and is qualified in Preschool Curriculum. She is also certified in CPR and First Aid. She believes every child is unique and is dedicated to nurturing individual strengths while helping children feel comfortable, confident, and supported. "I believe learning should be both meaningful and fun, giving children the opportunity to grow, explore, and develop confidence in their abilities." Outside of the classroom, Ms. Kyra enjoys spending time with her family.     Ms. Alexandra, Teacher Ms. Alexandra has been a valued member of The Goddard School® of Waldorf since September 2024. She is CPR and First Aid certified and is continuing her education in Early Childhood Care. In addition to her classroom experience, Ms. Alexandra has coached children ages 2 to 6 in sports, helping them develop confidence, teamwork, and social skills. "I believe children are constantly learning from the world around them. My goal is to create a positive environment that encourages kindness, problem-solving, self-discipline, and a love of learning." Ms. Alexandra values the partnership between families and teachers, believing that together they help children grow and reach their full potential. She is passionate about creating a nurturing classroom where every child feels supported, respected, and inspired to succeed.

    Ms. Terrie, Teacher Ms. Terrie Brownlee joined The Goddard School® of Waldorf in September 2025 and brings more than 15 years of experience in early childhood education. She has worked in a variety of settings, including the CDC Child Development Center serving Army families. During her career, she was promoted to chef, combining her love of cooking and service, but her passion for teaching ultimately led her back to the classroom. Ms. Terrie holds a Child Development Associate® (CDA) credential and has experience as a Lead Teacher. She is certified in CPR and First Aid and is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for every child. "I believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them." Ms. Terrie enjoys helping children build confidence, develop new skills, and discover a love of learning each day.

Known for her creativity, enthusiasm, and dedication, Ms. Destiny enjoys helping children discover their unique strengths while building confidence and independence. "I believe every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment where they feel valued, supported, and inspired to learn." Ms. Destiny is committed to creating engaging learning experiences that encourage curiosity, exploration, and growth. She is currently pursuing a degree in education and believes in the importance of lifelong learning. Through hands-on activities and meaningful interactions, she strives to help every child develop a love of learning while reaching their full potential.

    Ms. Khalayla, Teacher Ms. Khalayla has been a valued member of The Goddard School® of Waldorf since April 2025. With more than five years of experience working with children, she is passionate about creating an inclusive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to succeed. Ms. Khalayla is certified in CPR, First Aid, Early Infant and Toddler Care, Breastfeeding Support, and SIDS Awareness. She is also continuing her professional development through coursework at Penn Foster University. "I believe every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and inspired to learn. My goal is to nurture curiosity, build confidence, and help children develop a lifelong love of learning." Outside of the classroom, Ms. Khalayla enjoys music, coloring, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She looks forward to partnering with Waldorf families and supporting each child's growth and development.

    Ms. Vanessa, Teacher Ms. Vanessa has been a valued member of The Goddard School® of Waldorf since August 2024. With more than three years of experience in childcare, she has worked with children through schools, churches, and as a nanny. She is passionate about creating a learning environment that fosters creativity, trust, and self-confidence while encouraging children to explore and grow. Ms. Vanessa is Lead Teacher qualified for Toddler and Preschool programs and is certified in CPR and First Aid. She has also completed multiple early childhood development courses and is committed to continuing her education and professional growth. "I believe children learn best in a welcoming, loving environment where they feel safe to explore, create, and become confident learners." Ms. Vanessa is dedicated to nurturing each child's unique potential and helping them develop the skills they need for future success.
