Meet Carly Lead School Age Teacher
Carly joined the Goddard School in 2023.
Educational Qualifications:
• Master's degree in education from Goucher College
• Bachelors degree in Psychology with Art Minor from Goucher College
• Basic Health and Safety Certified
• First Aid and CPR Certified
Ms. Carly has worked with children since 2018. She believes learning should be both challenging and fun. Her goal is to create an environment where children can grow and develop necessary skills while also developing their unique interests and enjoying their time in school. Her favorite children's book is The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn. Ms. Carly is an artist so while not in school she enjoys painting, drawing, and crafting. She also plays soccer and other sports. She also enjoys traveling, especially at tropical destinations.

This daycare has been an excellent environment for my son. The teachers are highly attentive, communicative, and truly care about the children’s growth. We love our bumblebees teachers! We’ve seen so much improvement in his social and language skills. Highly recommend!
Bryn is having an amazing experience at Goddard. The entire staff is wonderful, and the curriculum is very engaging. We feel like she will be in great shape for Kindergarten next year. Most importantly, she loves it!
The Goddard School has been incredible at helping my shy daughter break out of her shell. The pre k program is incredible and clearly very effective as my daughter can already read and write all letters after just a few weeks.
Jim and Lynn show every day through their actions how much they love and care of every person in their facility. They know every name of parents, children, staff, you name it. The staff clearly is cared for and in return our child is the happiest, smartest kid on the planet.
They have wonderful communication with the families, many events to involve families in the child’s education and experiences, their teachers are well trained!
We have moved around a lot, and have been in our fair share of daycares, and Goddard Columbia is where we’ve been the happiest. The teachers are so kind, and Jim and Lyn really are the best - patient, positive, they know the kids and families well, they always take time to say hello and chat (even when they are clearly done for the day and on their way out). The staff seems very happy, with low turnover. My child just started K and he is extremely well prepped thru their PreK program.
