Meet Laurel PreK
Hello! My name is Ms. Laurel and I am a Pre-K Teacher in the Kickin' Kangaroo classroom. I have been a part of the Goddard Bel Air family since December 2019 and have loved every second of it! I have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood/ Special Education from HCC and I am currently working to get my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood/ Special Education from Towson University. A fun fact about me is that I LOVE Taylor Swift and I have a dog named Mufasa, who we rescued and he goes everywhere with me! I look forward to meeting you and am excited to work with you and your children in the Kangaroo Room to help prepare them for Kindergarten!

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

We support and encourage children to confidently explore and develop new skills, language and ideas.
Toddlers
12 - 24 m
As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

For so many reasons, I love that we selected the Goddard School of Bel Air as our preschool for my 3 sons. I’m extremely satisfied with The Goddard School! The teachers are exceptional, and the curriculum is well-structured. My son has made tremendous progress and learned so much since joining. The staff are dedicated, caring, and create a nurturing environment.
I was nervous sending my child to daycare in 2021 when she was only 6 months old. Front the moment I walked into Goddard in Bel Air, I felt at home. The teachers, staff and owners truly love what they do and care about the children. My now 4 year old is learning so much and I have no doubt she will be ready for Kindergarden next year.
My daughter has learned so much from her time at Goddard. We know we're leaving get in capable hands every day. She loves her teachers and her classmates. They have great communication and wonderful activities for the kids. The owners truly care about the staff and students alike.
My daughter has adjusted better than anticipated, the staff are patient and caring, and the facility is organized and clean.

Maryland Accreditation is a voluntary process of program assessment that examines all aspects of quality in educational environments for young children including curriculum, interactions between teachers and children, health and safety, family engagement and professional preparation and development of faculty.
HEALTH & SAFETY AWARD
The Health & Safety Award honors the top franchisee or franchisees who have gone above and beyond to provide the highest health and safety standards for the children.
HUMANITARIAN AWARD
The Humanitarian Award honors a School that ‘does well by doing good.’ This award is given to the school that has demonstrated selfless devotion to serving those in need and demonstrates a commitment to community outreach. CHILD CARE SCHOLARSHIP
The Child Care Scholarship (CCS) program assists eligible Maryland families pay for high-quality childcare and early education programs. Child Care Scholarship Central 2, a centralized vendor, manages the program.

The Market of Excellence Award is presented annually and acknowledges a market that has demonstrated the best collaborative effort in representing The Goddard School in their community.
CIRCLE OF EXCELLENCE PRESIDENT’S CLUB
The Circle of Excellence President’s Club Award recognizes franchisees that meet the highest standards set by Goddard Systems in the areas of health and safety, curriculum, overall quality, punctual reporting and business operations.
