Our Teachers

Vona Hill is the onsite co-owner of The Goddard School located in Framingham. Vona and her husband, Karim, are the proud parents to three sons. Vona recognizes the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment and is enthusiastic about delivering Goddard's exceptional program to the community. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Vona went on to establish and operate several businesses. As a mother, she applies the same innovative and analytical thinking to parenting as she does to all things, and she is passionate about the critical foundational years of a child's life. She looks forward to sharing her passion with the families of Framingham.

Ms. Becky is the Director at the Goddard School of Framingham. She has been working with children for over 30 years in different capacities. She lives in northern Connecticut with her family. Ms. Becky has three older children and a husband of thirty years. This year, she was blessed to have a new addition to her family—her first granddaughter! When she is not working, she enjoys tending to her micro farm. She relishes the serenity of nature and loves to garden! Ms. Becky also enjoys making soap and other natural personal care products. She and her husband like to go hiking, biking, camping, and fishing. She also enjoys practicing yoga and qi gong. Reading is one of Ms. Becky's favorite past times by far, though. Her favorite children’s book is Time of Wonder by Robert McCloskey.

Melissa has joined the Goddard School as a Director. Melissa has over 20 years of experience working with children in many capacities. She owned and ran a childcare of her own previously. She is passionate about creating a nurturing and enriching environment where children can thrive and grow. Melissa holds an Associate’s degree in early childhood education & administration and is currently pursuing her bachelors. Melissa is a proud mother of 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl and she has been happily married for over 18 years. When Melissa is not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her family. Some of her hobbies include drawing/painting, camping, working out at the gym and loves to express herself creatively through photography. Growing up on Cape Cod Melissa also thoroughly enjoys spending time on the beach to relax and soak up the sun. Her favorite childhood book is The Giving Tree is an American children's picture book written and illustrated by Shel Silverstein.

Ms. Francelly is one of our certified floaters. She is currently finishing up her General Studies Associates in Science. She loves to see how much children absorb information. At home she has a young son who keeps her on her toes.

Ms.Amanda is one of our certified infant teachers. She started her career as an English teacher at a young age in Brazil. She is now currently working on her bachelors in early childhood education. She is a mother of two boys and is happily married.

Ms. Kokila has a bachelor's in engineering. She also has experience in childcare in India. She loves being with children and has chosen childcare as her career. She enjoys watching the children learn and grow.

Ms. Kathy is a certified floating teacher assistant who has been involved with children for many years. She enjoys providing a clean, safe, and exciting environment for children to learn and grow. She has 5 children of her own. She also has her Masters degree in Social Work and a degree in psychology.

Ms. Victoria is one of our certified floats. She is mostly seen in the Get Set room. She holds a B.S. degree in Home Economics Education. Victoria has been in early childcare for over 16 years. She has 2 children of her own, a son and a daughter.

Ms. Valeriya is one of our Get Set teachers. She has wanted to be a teacher since childhood. She enjoys meeting new families and teaching children. When she is not at work she has a son at home who she loves very much.

Ms. Jossi is our certified first steps teacher. She loves watching the children learn and grow. She enjoys going for walks and watching the sunset.

Ms. Kristaly is an assistant in the Daring Daisies classroom. She has a passion for animals and is currently majoring in a biotechnology degree. She has two dogs at home that she adores. She enjoys walks throughout the city and along the beach. She enjoys traveling, playing sports and spending quality time with family and friends. Her favorite children's book is "Don't Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus".

Ms Juliana is brazilian and love her home country of Brazil. She is bilingual in both Portuguese and English. She is currently studying early childhood education development. She believes in giving the children the love and attention they deserve in warm and nurturing environment. She has been married for 32 years, has two children and cherishes her time with her family. She enjoys crocheting and walking. Her favorite children's book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

Mrs. Alejandra is certified in all programs of early education and care. She is graduating with her degree in early childhood education this summer. She enjoys working at the Goddard School because it prioritizes the learning of each child through respect, love and curiosity. She prides herself on her ability to share what she learns with children, applies her studies into her curriculum and how much fun she has with the children doing activities. She is married, has one son and two geckos. Her favorite childhood book is Moo Baa Lalala

Ms. Faith is one of our floating assistant teachers. She has been in this field 25 years. She has worked with infants all the way to troubled adolescents. Her favorite children's book is Pete the Cat and The Perfect Pizza Party.

Celina is an Assistant Teacher in Super Sunflowers. She enjoys helping the children with their day to day needs in the classroom, from crafts to playing on the floor with them. She has been babysitting her nieces for many years now and loves having time with them! She enjoys seeing each child learn and grow through play and social interactions. She is happiest knowing she has made an impact on each child's life in the classroom. In her free time, she enjoy playing all sorts of sports and outdoor activities. Her favorite childhood books are the Dr. Seuss Series.

Darlyn is an assistant teacher to our Precious Poppies classroom. Her home country is Guatemala. She is currently studying to become a dental assistant. She has been working with children for 2 years now. She loves caring for children, playing with them and loving on them. She thinks the best hugs and snuggles come from the tiniest babies. She loves to read and her favorite book is The Four Agreements.

Mrs. Journette is a certified teacher in our Precious Poppies classroom. She holds a certificate in CAD/engineering. She is passionate about teaching a child individually on their level. She likes to plan for the future and see children flourish as she cultivates an engaging curriculum daily. She believes each child is unique and deserves the opportunity to become exactly who they are through play, structure and a nurturing environment. Her most rewarding moments as a teacher is seeing children go from "I can't" to "I can" with confidence and excitement. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, going on adventures and traveling.

Marwa is one of our Certified Teachers that currently works in the Super Sunflowers classroom. She is from Alexandria, Egypt and moved to the U.S. 10 years ago. She has been working in the early childhood education field for the last 5 years. She is very excited to be a part of each child's educational journey and looks forward to having an impact on every child in her classroom. During her free time, she enjoy spending time with her husband, son and daughter. She loves traveling and exploring other cultures as well as cooking and baking!

Savannah is a Certified Teacher in the Daring Daisies classroom. She has worked in the early education field for the last seven years helping children reach developmental milestones, learn and have fun in the classroom. She chose to work at The Goddard School of Framingham because she appreciate the teaching philosophy as well as the overall quality care provided. She holds an associates in Psychology. Her goals are to create a stable and loving environment for her students. She believes in strengthening each child's unique set of skills while also implementing fun and exciting activities that will prepare each child for a bright future! Her hobbies consist of photography, trail walks, cars and watching the sunset. Her favorite children's book is "Olivia" by Ian Falconer.

Heather is a Certified Teacher in the Preschool Acorns Classroom She has been working with children in a number of capacities for over 25 years since that has always been her passion. She appreciates that at Goddard the classrooms are set up to foster independent play-based learning. She enjoys seeing children have the freedom to play with what interests them most and build upon that each day. Heather is a mom of 6, a grandmother of 3 and has been married for 27 years. She is an avid Disney fan and loves everything about Disney. Her favorite childhood book is The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn.

Ms. Litah started working at The Goddard School in the fall of 2024. She is originally from Maine but grew up mostly on the North Shore of Massachusetts. Litah always enjoyed caring for kids, especially her younger brother. She has studied Psychology and Early Childhood Education. She finds working with kids to be an absolute joy. Some of her hobbies include painting and drawing. She loves to do creative and art based activities in the classroom.

Idalyz Figueroa is a teacher assistant. She loves working with kids, helping them and watching them grow. She loves the excitement a child feels when they learn a new skill. Working at Goddard allows Idalyz to be a part of a child’s life in a special way and learn how to connect with children on their level. Working at Goddard will help foster a better understanding of children in her long-term goal to become a pediatric nurse.

Orion has been working in childcare for over five years. From nannying to working in a children’s museum, to being a middle school teacher and now here at The Goddard School. Orion has worked with many different ages, abilities and learning compacities. In the future, he would like to teach kindergarten or science, STEM. He loves incorporating science and math into play when working with children. He also enjoys playing soccer and crafts in his free time. My favorite children’s book in Good Night Moon by Margaret Wise Brown.
