    I am thrilled to be the on-site owner for The Goddard School of Overland Park at Stonepost! The primary years of education are pivotal in a child’s life to set them up for success, and that is why I feel so strongly about Goddard’s philosophy. My goal is to be a community leader in early childhood education nurturing the whole-child to be life-long learners. The partnership between parents and educators creates the optimal environment for healthy, safe, and happy little learners!     Miss Chelsea opens our school each morning with a bright smile and a cheerful demeanor. Miss Chelsea has a clear passion for education and innovation with her many years of experience in teaching. A strong program includes nurturing, structure, and curriculum to help the children thrive. She ensures that staff feel supported, heard, and empowered while balancing the organizational needs of our school.

    Koalas Co-Teacher
    Miss Ramendeep is a wonderful caretaker for our Koalas classroom. She opens our school each day and greets every baby that comes into her classroom with a cheerful greeting and a smile. She loves all children but she specializes in the individual needs of each child ages 6 weeks through 12 months in our Koalas classroom. She is attentive to the needs of each student while making sure students are meeting developmental milestones.

    Miss Madi is a wonderful co-teacher for some of our littles students. She works seamlessly with her co-teacher and is a great advocate for the needs of her students. Safety is a huge priority in our school and Miss Madi is someone we look to for quality assurance compliance and leadership.

    Miss Sumbal is the lead teacher in our mobile infants classroom where she guides students in their biggest moments such as learning how to walk and talk. Her communication skills shine with each parent that is in her classroom as they leave each day with a detailed report of how their child's day was.

    You can often find Miss Rasha on the floor interacting with some of our smallest students at Goddard. She prioritizes each child in her care delicately and with great intention to make sure all needs are met and students are engaged and learning with their peers.

    Miss Garyn is our fierce and passionate Polar Bears teacher where she spends her days supporting the learning of students who have recently turned one-years-old. She excels in advocating for her students needs and ensures that they are safe, cared for, and supported both in the classroom and at home.

    Miss Olivia is a fun, upbeat, and caring teacher that thrives in her classroom of one-year-olds. She always has a fun craft and activity ready for the day. You can find lots of bright colors on the wall and upbeat chatter inside the classroom.

    Miss Abbygayle is the true definition of a resource teacher as she fits seamlessly in any classroom she is needed. A teacher needs lesson planning time? Miss Abby's got you covered. Need some extra help with a project? Miss Abby can help! From Koalas to Jayhawks, she offers support anywhere! She is a strong team player and we value the skills she brings to our school every day.

    You will find Miss Shannon opening the Giraffes classroom each day, bright and early, with a bright smile and a warm hug to the students in her class. She has implemented strong routines with her one and a half year old's and the impacts that she makes sets them up for a strong introduction to our preschool classrooms.

    Miss Adrianne is a strong educator with a passion for art and that is evident when you see her classroom. You'll find her running around the playground with her two-year-old, Panda students. She is a great team player and works seamlessly with her co-teacher, Miss Liz.

    Miss Liz is a strong team player with a passion for reading. In the Pandas classroom, you will find a plethora of books that Miss Liz wakes up early for on Saturday mornings to search through retired public library piles for! She is often found reading to her students and giving the children the support they need to help them learn how to be potty trained.

    Miss Sadia is a curriculum queen! You can often find her sitting at the table with her three-year-old students in small groups working on those very important introductory skills for preschool. She is great at working with her students to meet the milestones they need to meet and advocating for her students who may need more support.

    Mister Austin is a bright ray of sunshine in the early mornings here at Goddard, as he helps us open our school each day! His strong communication skills make him a huge asset to our school, Mister Austin knows where each of his students are academically and where they need to grow. His attentiveness to his students and parents make him a fan favorite around the school.

    Miss Tamara is a wonderful team player with the skill and confidence to fit seamlessly into any classroom that she is needed. She has a special set of skills that can calm a child and get them back to learning quickly. The students in the Toucans classroom enjoy doing crafts and centers with Miss Tamara. We appreciate the years of service she has been apart of our team and are looking forward to the future with her.

    Miss Yolonda brings a passion an enthusiasm for teaching each and every day in her classroom of four-year-old's. She works alongside parents to ensure each child is ready for kindergarten. Her communication skills shine with parents and they can see their child's progress with the work they are bringing home each week. From art to math to social emotional skills- Miss Yolanda's passion for teaching is crystal clear.

    Eagles Lead Teacher- Junior Kindergarten
    Miss Katherine is a strong educator with a passion for making each of her four to five-year-old students ready and confident for Kindergarten. She comes to school bright and early each day helping us start our school day. The Eagles class focuses on a faster paced curriculum for those students who need a little challenge but aren't quite ready yet for Kindergarten. She makes sure each student stays right on pace with her- none of her students are ever left behind!

    Miss Kaden is a wonderful support for any teachers who may need an extra set of hands. She spends most of her days supporting Miss Katherine in Eagles but sometimes you will find her building a tower of blocks with the toddlers and every class in-between.

    Miss Samantha is a versatile part of our team at Goddard. She is the definition of a resource teacher where she fits into any classroom, anywhere within our school! You will often find her playing with the students on the toddler playground or reading students books. Miss Sam can do it all!

    Miss Rumpa is a confident and strong resource teacher at our school. You will often find her playing and singing songs with our Koalas and Wallabies students. She is a strong support person in any classroom she steps into and shares the classroom responsibilities with ease.

    Miss Moriam has over a decade of experience working in preschool centers and we are so happy she is apart of our team. She fits into any classroom or age group that we need. From driving our bus to spending her afternoons with the infants- Miss Moriam is happy to help wherever she is needed. Her passion for safety and comfort is clear to see each day with every child she engages with.

    Miss Zia is a great cook that seamlessly juggles many dietary and allergy needs with ease. We offer both vegetarian and regular menus at our school each day and she manages them both. There is quite a lot of organization that takes place in our kitchen and Miss Zia is on top of it all!
