Our Goddard School Teachers

Ms. Rosita has been the On-site School Owner and Operator of The Goddard School of Geist since January 2004. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from UCLA and has brought over 20 years of experience in early childhood education to the Geist community. Rosita is passionate about fostering safe, nurturing spaces where children learn through inquiry and play. She is committed to maintaining strict health and safety standards and is proud that her school has been nationally accredited with NAEYC for the past 15 years. As a hands-on leader, Rosita values strong partnerships with families to support every child’s success. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and four children, all proud Goddard graduates! We look forward to welcoming you to The Goddard School family!

Valerie has been teaching at Goddard Geist since 2007. Before becoming a center director, she taught at both the high school and preschool grade levels. She is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish and also holds a National Director Credential. She has two sons that attended Goddard Geist. In her free time, Valerie enjoys reading, baking, and attempting to garden.

Liz joined The Goddard School of Geist in 2017 as a Lead Teacher in the Bridge classroom. In 2025, she began a dual role where she supports the admin team as the Curriculum & QA Coordinator. Liz is currently pursuing an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. In her spare time she enjoys traveling to new places.

Christine has been teaching in the infant classroom since 2013. She holds a CDA with an infant/toddler specialization. Christine is passionate about helping babies meet their developmental milestones. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts and racing events.

Katie joined The Goddard School of Geist in 2023. She holds her CDA with an infant/toddler specialization. Katie enjoys providing a safe space where infants can explore and grow. In her spare time, Katie likes to go to the movies and make unique art pieces.

Rebecca has been leading our Toddler 1 classroom since 2020, and prior to that taught at a Goddard School in Georgia. She has been in early education for over 20 years. Her favorite part of the day is reading aloud with her toddlers, doing all the voices and making it interactive! Rebecca is the proud mother of three sons and has three granddaughters.

Vusala joined the teaching team in 2024. She has been in the field of education for over 15 years, primarily teaching mathematics. Vusala believes that every child deserves a nurturing and supportive environment, so that is exactly what she provides. She is originally from Azerbaijan. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her husband and three kids.

Stephanie has been teaching at Goddard Geist since 2020. In college, she studied social work. Stephanie emphasizes the importance of developmental milestones in her classroom. When students meet a new goal, it puts a smile on her face! In her free time, Stephanie enjoys collecting Pokemon cards.

Taylor has a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from Indiana State University, but she has always loved working with children. She was a nanny for over a year, which lead her to want to pursue a career in early childhood education. The children in her class gleefully call her "Tay-Tay."

Laila joined The Goddard School of Geist in 2017. She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. The Goddard School of Geist is her first teaching position since moving to the United States from the Philippines. Laila enjoys using songs to enhance her morning meeting time, and frequently shares videos on her daily reports. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and son.

Cheyenne joined The Goddard School is 2025 and is the Assistant Teacher in the Twos classroom. She has been working in early education since 2021, and has also worked in an ABA center serving children with developmental needs. Her favorite thing about working with young children is watching them grow into their own little people with their own personalities! She chose The Goddard School because the values and mission align with her own.

Jessica holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and has been teaching preschool for over 13 years. She enjoys planning hands-on science and art activities based on children's interests to keep them engaged. Jessica extends learning outside whenever possible, knowing that 2-yr-olds need that time outdoors. In her free time, she likes to take her puppy on hikes.

Alexis has been with The Goddard School since 2023. She is the Assistant Teacher in the Bridge classroom. She has worked with children since 2017 and has 3 sons that keep her busy! Her favorite part of working with toddlers is partnering with families to help children meet their developmental milestones.

Tamkeen has been the Lead Teacher in the Preschool 1 room since 2023. She holds a CDA with a Preschool specialization and has been teaching since 2019. She was born and raised in Pakistan and moved to the US when she got married. Teaching preschool at Goddard allows her to use her passion for education while learning even more about the field of early childhood.

Taylor joined The Goddard School in 2024 as an Assistant Teacher. She has been working in early education since 2019 and enjoys art and dancing with students! She is in a traditional Mexican dance group that performs locally. Sharing her love of creative arts and movement is what helps her connect with her class.

Elise has been teaching preschool since 2020 and joined The Goddard School of Geist in 2023. Her goal each school year is to build a relationship with students and help them build relationships with their peers. Elise facilitates learning through activities that are aligned with developmentally appropriate curriculum. She believes play should be a big part of the day!

Kameron has been teaching preschool since 2014 and joined The Goddard School of Geist in 2025 as the Lead PreK Teacher. Her favorite subject is reading. She has lived all over the globe and loves learning new languages! Check out her weekly show and tell projects for a glimpse into her engaging style of teaching!

Grace has been teaching with Goddard Geist since 2012. She has been a Lead Teacher and is now part of the resource team, which means she helps in each and every classroom. As an early childhood educator for more than 35 years, she takes pride in developing age-appropriate lessons for the children to enjoy including activities such as singing songs, reading books, creating artwork, and exercising their bodies.

Liliana (Lili) joined The Goddard School in 2025 as a resource teacher. She began her career in education as an ESL teacher in Venezuela. Her degree is in Architecture, but she finds her passion is working with children!

Maggie is on the Resource Team, working in the early hours of the morning, 7:00-9:00 am to support classroom opening schedules. Her son began attending The Goddard School of Geist in 2021, and in 2023, she decided to join the teaching team. She is also a gymnastics coach, and loves doing fun and active things with our students!

Kathy joined Goddard Geist in 2025 as the Cook. She has been in food service for many years. Her favorite thing about cooking for preschoolers is the excitement they have when they see her baking for their favorite day, Cookie Friday!
