    Mr Steve

    President
    Steve Patel is the Owner and Business Manager of the Goddard School in Greenwood, Indiana. He is the proud father of two children, a son and daughter, both of which attended The Goddard School in Greenwood. He moved to Indiana in March of 2001 from California, where he owned and operated a business for five years. He moved to benefit his children by opening The Goddard School. He feels Goddard is the best choice to provide a safe, stimulating, and happy environment in which all children can reach their full potential. He loves what he does and looks forward to coming to The Goddard School everyday.

    Ms Tracy

    Director
    Ms. Tracy is the Director. She has her Master's Degree in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has been with Goddard since July of 2004. She believes strongly in Goddard's philosophy of learning through play and enjoys watching the development of the children in our care.

    Assistant Director
    Ms. Jess is the Assistant Director. She has her Bachelor's Degree in General Studies with a minor in Sociology from IUPUI. She started working at Goddard in September of 2014. She enjoys working at Goddard because it is a warm and loving environment that feels like home.

    Ms Samantha

    Kitchen Director
    Ms. Sam is the Kitchen Director. She has her Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts studying at Brown College the Le Cordon Bleu. She has cared for children for many years and has two children of her own. She started working at Goddard in September 2012. She loves Goddard because she loves the people she works with. All the children make everyday a new adventure for her and make working fun.

    Ms. Marie a co-lead teacher in the older pre-k classroom. She has her CDA from Ivy Tech. She has worked in childcare since 2002, and has many younger siblings she helped take care of. She started working at Goddard in October 2006. She likes Goddard's philosophy of learning through play.

    Ms. Amanda is a co-lead teacher in the older pre-k classroom. She has her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ivy Tech. She started working at Goddard in August of 2011 and has worked with children for many years. She loves Goddard because it is a great atmosphere for the children to learn and grow in. The minute she walked into the building, she knew it was where she wanted to teach. She loves that the classrooms and curriculum are based off the children's needs and adapted to different teaching styles.

    Ms. Rachel is a co-lead teacher in the younger pre-k classroom. She has her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Solano Community College in California. She started working at Goddard in July of 2015. She has been teaching children since 2003. She enjoys teaching at Goddard because we believe children learn through play and there are so many hands on opportunities for learning. She enjoys the extra activities that we do and also the look on the children's faces when they achieve their goals.

    Ms. Marci is a co-lead teacher in the infant classroom. She has over 25 years experience with children including working with children with special needs. She started working at Goddard in January 2016. She loves Goddard's philosophy of learning and how everyone working here puts the children first. She feels it is a great environment for children to learn, play and grow.

    Ms. Kathy is a co-lead teacher in the younger pre-k classroom. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been a camp counselor, Montessori teacher and a preschool teacher! She started working at Goddard in October 2016. She likes working at Goddard because of the focus on the whole child and the awesome curriculum.

    Ms. Tiffany is a co-lead teacher in the younger preschool classroom. She has her CDA from the Department of Defense. She has many years of experience working with children. She started working at Goddard in March of 2020. She loves Goddard because of the amazing family-like environment and to be able to be a part of each child's life.

    Ms. Jen is a co-lead teacher in the older twos classroom. She has lots of experience working with young children as well as helping out with her younger siblings. She started working at Goddard in March of 2021. She loves Goddard because she loves being able to watch children grow academically.

    Ms. Heather is a co-lead teacher in the infant classroom. She has her Bachelor’s Degree from Ball State. She has many years of experience working with young children 2 and under. She started working at Goddard in October of 2021. She loves Goddard because the environment is inviting and caring towards the kids and adults. The rooms are colorful and engaging and the staff is welcoming and kind.

    Teacher
    Ms. Jean is a co-lead teacher in the younger toddler classroom. She has her associates of arts degree in Psychology as well as additional credits towards a degree in Education. She has several years of experience working with children of all ages, but mostly infants and toddlers. She started working at Goddard in January of 2023. She loves Goddard because it gave her the opportunity to work with amazing young children.

    Teacher
    Ms. Rachel is a co-lead teacher in the older preschool classroom. She has her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nottingham University in England. She has experience as a teaching assistant for kindergartners and first graders as well as running a summer camp and homeschool program at a local horse ranch. She started working at Goddard in January of 2023. She loves Goddard because her youngest children came here for preschool and pre-k and were made to feel part of the family, and it made such a positive impact on their lives. She also likes how The Goddard School maintains high standards of care and is an environment in which children thrive and has continuing education and training for staff members.

    Ms. Kristal is a co-lead teacher in the younger preschool classroom. She has her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from IWU. She has lots of experience working with children including working with 3-year-olds at another center. She started working at Goddard in May of 2022. She loves Goddard because it gives her the opportunity to teach young children, which is what she loves to do!

    Ms. Destiny is a co-lead teacher in the older preschool classroom. She has her associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Highlands College. She has several years of experience working with preschoolers. She started working at Goddard in June of 2024. She loves The Goddard School because it is a fun, welcoming environment for teachers and kids!

    Ms. Alina is a resource teacher who works in multiple classrooms. She has a bachelor's degree in finance. She has many younger cousins that she has spent a lot of time with! She started working at Goddard in February of 2024. She loves The Goddard School because of their dedication to meeting children's needs, and it gives her a chance to work with creative children and help their imaginations grow!

    Ms. Brittney is a co-lead teacher in the younger twos classroom. She is working towards an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. She has always had a passion for working with children and ran her own in-home child care center for 6 years. She started working at Goddard in February of 2025. She loves The Goddard School because the staff is welcoming and she is excited to learn and grow while teaching here!

    Ms. Ashley is the assistant teacher in the older toddler classroom. She has over four years of experience working in early childhood education, two of those years she worked with two year olds. She started working at Goddard in May of 2025. She loves The Goddard School because she gets to witness children grow, learn, and develop into their own unique individuals!

    Ms. Alliyah is the lead teacher in the older toddler classroom. She is pursuing an elementary education degree at Western Governor University. She has over 3 years of experience working with young children, including working at other Goddard Schools. She started working at Goddard in June of 2025. She loves The Goddard School because it is a positive community where she can build friendships with everyone and the environment is so welcoming. She can tell the teachers really love the kids they work with!

    Ms. Mikhayla is a co-lead teacher in the younger twos classroom. She is working towards her degree in early childhood education. She has experience working with toddlers at another center. She started working at Goddard in June of 2025. She loves The Goddard School because it feels cozy, warm, and just like home!

    Ms. Ahle is a co-lead teacher in the older twos classroom. She is working towards her associates degree at Ivy Tech. She has experience working with young children including working at another Goddard, a home daycare, and she has her RBT license. She started working at Goddard in June of 2025. She loves The Goddard School because they have always provided a safe and enriching environment for kids and staff to learn and grow.

    Ms. Megan is the assistant teacher in the infant classroom. She has a bachelor’s degree in social work with a minor in Psychology. She has multiple years of experience working with young children as a babysitter, working at a church nursery, a skills development specialist, a wraparound facilitator and a behavioral health clinician. She started working at Goddard in August of 2025. She loves The Goddard School because she loves the chance to build a relationship and interact with each individual child. She has always loved babies and being in the infant room is so much fun! She loves watching them all grow, develop, and change rapidly!

    Teacher
    Ms. Reecha is a resource teacher who works in multiple classrooms. She has a bachelor’s degree in English and Mass Communication. She has experience working with children while teaching at Whiz-kid’s International School. She started working at Goddard in August of 2025. She loves The Goddard School because of the positive, supportive, and energetic environment. She likes the opportunity to work closely with the other teachers and families to create a sense of community where everyone shares the same goal- helping students succeed!

    Ms. Saniah is the assistant teacher in the older twos classroom. She has a degree in general studies and will be working towards a BSN. She has experience working with young children at an autism center as well as lots of babysitting experience. She started working at Goddard in August of 2025. She loves The Goddard School because it allows her to make a positive difference in children’s lives, help shape the young people of tomorrow, and watch them learn.

    Ms. Sophia is a resource teacher who works in multiple classrooms. She is working towards a degree in visual communication design. She has experience working with young children at other centers including another Goddard School. She started working at Goddard in October of 2025. She loves The Goddard School because of the environment. She loves that she gets to be a part of nurturing children and helping them become the best people they can be!

    Ms. Eden is a co-lead teacher in the younger twos classroom. She is working towards her associate’s degree in early childhood education. She has over 3 years of experience working with young children at another accredited childcare center. She started working at Goddard in November of 2025. She loves The Goddard School because it lays out a great foundation to meet the needs of every child and celebrates what makes them special. It is the kind of environment where students and teachers can continue to thrive. She feels honored to be able to watch the children learn new things, build relationships, and be a part of the Goddard family!
