    Mr Steve

    President
    Steve Patel is the Owner and Business Manager of the Goddard School in Greenwood, Indiana. He is the proud father of two children, a son and daughter, both of which attended The Goddard School in Greenwood. He moved to Indiana in March of 2001 from California, where he owned and operated a business for five years. He moved to benefit his children by opening The Goddard School. He feels Goddard is the best choice to provide a safe, stimulating, and happy environment in which all children can reach their full potential. He loves what he does and looks forward to coming to The Goddard School everyday.

    Director
    Ms. Tracy is the Director. She has her Master's Degree in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has been with Goddard since July of 2004. She believes strongly in Goddard's philosophy of learning through play and enjoys watching the development of the children in our care.

    Ms. Jess is the Assistant Director. She has her Bachelor's Degree in General Studies with a minor in Sociology from IUPUI. She started working at Goddard in September of 2013. She enjoys working at Goddard because it is a warm and loving environment that feels like home.

    Kitchen Director
    Ms. Sam is the Kitchen Director. She has her Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts studying at Brown College the Le Cordon Bleu. She has cared for children for many years and has two children of her own. She started working at Goddard in September 2012. She loves Goddard because she loves the people she works with. All the children make everyday a new adventure for her and make working fun.

    Ms. Marci is a co-lead teacher in the infant classroom. She has over 25 years experience with children including working with children with special needs. She started working at Goddard in January 2016. She loves Goddard's philosophy of learning and how everyone working here puts the children first. She feels it is a great environment for children to learn, play and grow.

    Ms. Heather is a co-lead teacher in the infant classroom. She has her Bachelor’s Degree from Ball State. She has many years of experience working with young children 2 and under. She started working at Goddard in October of 2021. She loves Goddard because the environment is inviting and caring towards the kids and adults. The rooms are colorful and engaging and the staff is welcoming and kind.

    Ms. Bailey is a co-lead teacher in the younger toddler classroom. She has her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education at Ivy Tech. She has had lots of experience working with children over the last 5 years. She started working at Goddard in November of 2021. She loves Goddard because it is a fun environment, and the children make the work day fun!

    Ms. Madi is a co-lead teacher in the younger toddler classroom. She has her Bachelor’s Degree from IUPUI. She has experience working with two-year-olds at another center. She started working at Goddard in March of 2022. She loves Goddard because of their learning through play philosophy.

    Ms. Kayla is the lead teacher in the older toddler classroom. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She has over 8 years of experience working with young children including elementary schools and other centers. She started working at Goddard in November of 2023. She loves The Goddard School because she loves watching children learn and grow.

    Ms. Jean is an assistant teacher in the older toddler classroom. She has her associates of arts degree in Psychology as well as additional credits towards a degree in Education. She has several years of experience working with children of all ages, but mostly infants and toddlers. She started working at Goddard in January of 2023. She loves Goddard because it gave her the opportunity to work with amazing young children.

    Ms. Jennifer is an assistant teacher in the older toddler classroom. She has lots of experience working with young children as well as helping out with her younger siblings. She started working at Goddard in March of 2021. She loves Goddard because she loves being able to watch children grow academically.

She started working at Goddard in March of 2020. She loves Goddard because of the amazing family-like environment and to be able to be a part of each child's life.

She loves The Goddard School because she loves making a positive impact on children’s lives.     Ms. Cara a co-lead teacher in the older twos classroom. She has been working with young children for many years. She started working at Goddard in August of 2018. She loves singing songs, reading stories, and playing games with her 2 year olds.

    Ms. Ellie is a co-lead teacher in the older twos classroom. She is working towards her CDA (Childhood Development Associate). She has several years of experience working with children including working as a nanny. She started working at Goddard in November of 2021. She loves Goddard because they cater to each child’s individual needs, and she enjoys creating bonds with the children while they grow socially and academically.

    Ms. Kristal is the lead teacher in the younger preschool classroom. She has her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from IWU. She has lots of experience working with children including working with 3-year-olds at another center. She started working at Goddard in May of 2022. She loves Goddard because it gives her the opportunity to teach young children, which is what she loves to do!

    Ms. Rachel is the assistant teacher in the younger preschool classroom. She has her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nottingham University in England. She has experience as a teaching assistant for kindergartners and first graders as well as running a summer camp and homeschool program at a local horse ranch. She started working at Goddard in January of 2023. She loves Goddard because her youngest children came here for preschool and pre-k and were made to feel part of the family, and it made such a positive impact on their lives. She also likes how The Goddard School maintains high standards of care and is an environment in which children thrive and has continuing education and training for staff members.

    Ms. Liz is the lead teacher in the older preschool classroom. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Purdue University. She has lots of experience working with children including teaching 1st grade. She started working at Goddard in March of 2022. She loves Goddard’s focus on nurturing the whole child: physically, social emotionally and academically.

    Ms. Aubrey is the assistant teacher in the older preschool classroom. She is currently pursuing her CDA. She has experience working as an aftercare teacher at a Montessori program as well as helping take care of her four younger siblings. She started working at Goddard in January of 2023. She loves Goddard because everyone is so friendly, and the environment is warm, safe, and welcoming. She loves working somewhere where she can watch children grow and develop into confident, self- sufficient learners.

    Ms. Rachel is a co-lead teacher in the younger pre-k classroom. She has her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts from Solano Community College in California. She started working at Goddard in July of 2015. She has been teaching children since 2003. She enjoys teaching at Goddard because we believe children learn through play and there are so many hands on opportunities for learning. She enjoys the extra activities that we do and also the look on the children's faces when they achieve their goals.

    Ms. Kathy is a co-lead teacher in the younger pre-k classroom. She has her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been a camp counselor, Montessori teacher and a preschool teacher! She started working at Goddard in October 2016. She likes working at Goddard because of the focus on the whole child and the awesome curriculum.

    Ms. Amanda is a co-lead teacher in the older pre-k classroom. She has her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ivy Tech. She started working at Goddard in August of 2011 and has worked with children for many years. She loves Goddard because it is a great atmosphere for the children to learn and grow in. The minute she walked into the building, she knew it was where she wanted to teach. She loves that the classrooms and curriculum are based off the children's needs and adapted to different teaching styles.

    Ms. Jennifer is a resource teacher who works in all the classrooms. She is also the afternoon bus driver and teacher for our school age program. She has associate degrees in Science and Arts, Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts. She has spent a lot of time babysitting her nephews. She started working at Goddard in August of 2022. She loves Goddard because of the kids! She feels like every day with them is a great joy and a learning experience.

    Ms. Hayley is a resource teacher working in all the classrooms at our school. She has her Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting at Wesleyan University. She has over 6 years of experience working with young children. She started working at Goddard inn August of 2021. She loves Goddard because it is an amazing facility for students and staff. They give parents the best education for their children and genuinely care about the parents, children and staff!
