    Owner
    Naina is a highly accomplished business and technology leader having 15+ years of experience working with large corporations and leading teams. She is a proud mom of two children and is very passionate about investing her time and energy to help create the foundation of future leaders and build strong communities. She is a member of multiple nonprofit organizations that focus on promoting and providing support to retain women in STEM based careers. Naina opened The Goddard School of West Loop, recognizing that providing support, and opportunities for children in early childhood is important. Her vision is to build the best preschool and daycare in West Loop, Chicago and provide an inclusive childcare that brings families and teachers together to create a perfect blend of safe, nurturing and fun-learning environment for children.

    Director
    Mrs. Nicole Royster is excited to be part of The Goddard School of West Loop. She believes that working closely with families and teachers creates a welcoming environment for each child to learn and grow. Mrs. Nicole is committed to build the best preschool and daycare with the Goddard F.L.EX framework. Mrs. Nicole’s passion for working with children began when a teacher made such an impact on her in Preschool, she decided to become a teacher. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education with a focus on Child and Family Services. She then earned a Master's in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction. She has held a Director position for over ten years and strives to integrate her education and experience into the support she provides to families and teachers as they lay the foundation for each child’s academic success. Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband & daughter. Their favorite family activities include baking and doing jig-saw puzzles.
  • Ms Toni

    Ms Toni

    Assistant Director - Operations & Curriculum
    Ms. Toni began working in the field of Early Childhood Education in 2020 as a teacher at a daycare center and worked her way up to be an Assistant Director. She has taken over 41 credit hours in Early Childhood Education. Her love for Early Childhood Education began at a young age. Being the second oldest of nine children, she has been working with children for over 18 years helping with her siblings. Ms. Toni believes children learn best when they are learning from daily routine and activities. She believes children should always be provided with a loving and nurturing environment. When children feel safe and comfortable, they are more willing to explore and learn. Ms Toni is a key contributor to our vision of building the best preschool and daycare in West Loop.
  • Mrs Phoebe

    Mrs Phoebe

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Phoebe was born and raised in Chicago. For the last three years, Ms. Phoebe has worked with the Infant and Toddler age group. She is in her final semester at Malcolm X College, where she will earn her Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education before continuing to National Louis University to complete her Bachelor of Arts Degree. Ms. Phoebe has a passion for working with children and has worked with them most of her life, starting as a camp counselor when she was just a teen. Ms. Phoebe enjoys reading books in her spare time and loves to complete puzzles. Ms. Phoebe’s loving and nurturing personality leaves lasting impressions on her little classroom friends and parents.
  • Ms Paola

    Ms Paola

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Paola has a passion for teaching children and keeping their safety a priority. She has worked with all ages in the daycare setting, she enjoys working with infants and toddlers the most. She believes at a young age children learn from everything and everyone around them. Ms. Paola enjoys creating lesson plans that can be educational and fun. For infants and toddlers, she likes activities that can help children in all in all areas of development, such as creating a lesson that helps children with their fine motor skills. She enjoys making the classroom a fun place for children but always makes sure everything she is doing with the children is safe and age appropriate. She currently holds a Child Development Associates Credential. When Ms. Paola is not at work she enjoys taking her two dogs for a walk, traveling and spending time with loved ones. We are very excited to have Ms. Paola as part of our Goddard Family and happy to see all the wonderful things she does in the classroom.

    Ms Andrea

    Lead Teacher
    Ms. Andrea believes children know and are capable of much more than we typically give them credit for. A huge part of her teaching philosophy is providing a safe, independent, and nurturing environment to allow children to learn and grow. She began her career in Montessori education which taught her the importance of independence, but she values the importance of guiding and learning with children. She knows every child is different which makes it important for teachers to individualize curriculum and learn the needs of each child. Ms. Andrea studied Behavioral Analysis at Marquette University and has worked in childcare since 2022.

    Mrs Alia

    Lead Teacher
    Mrs. Alia has a true passion for working with youngest learners! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor. She comes to school with a smile, ready to teach the toddler friends. Alia strives to create a community of learners by creating a fun learning environment through music, dance, art & craft and story times with her little friends! Alia holds the early education certificate (CDA). She has over 10 years of experience working with children. Mrs. Alia loves to travel with her husband. She loves spending time with her two daughters and son and three granddaughters. She is a great asset to The Goddard School at West Loop.
  • Ms Crystal

    Ms Crystal

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Crystal developed a love for learning how children grow and develop at a young age growing up in a large family. Ms. Crystal enjoys learning from the children in her classroom. She knows children thrive on routine and works with the children to help them learn their daily routine in the classroom. Her favorite activity to do with the children is going on their daily walk when the weather permits it. She enjoys when the children point out different objects, buildings, and animals during the walk. In her time off, Ms. Crystal enjoys spending time with family and friends. Ms. Crystal is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She is very excited to bring everything she has learned in school and bring it into the classroom to help children achieve their milestones.

    Ms Cecilia from a very young age, knew that she wanted to be an educator and serve as a role model for children. She believes children need lots of love, kindness and respect to be able to reach their milestones. Based on the philosophy and nurturing environment that the Goddard School stands by, along with her educational values, Ms Cecilia is confident that she can help establish long term goals for the children and their families. She has obtained her Bachelor's degree in Human Development and has years of experience working with children. She loves that, through play, children create endless opportunities to learn, explore, and make new discoveries. Outside of her career, she likes to play soccer, try new foods, and watch Marvel films. She is very excited to be part of Goddard Family and can't wait to share so many wonderful things with her preschool friends!

    Ms. Cynthia knows the importance of early childhood education for children. She has twelve years of experience working in childcare. She enjoys creating lessons that are educational, fun, and individualized for children. Ms. Cynthia uses her years of experience to help children reach their developmental milestones. She knows children of all ages are curious and observant, she believes children can learn from daily activities and everything around them. Ms. Cynthia is very excited to have joined our Goddard Family and help each child in her class be school ready.

    Ms. Sandra knows that a teacher can provide nurturing and fun environment for children and assist little ones in learning new things. She became a teacher because she believes working with children is fun and being a teacher allows her to watch them grow and reach to their full potential. Ms. Sandra received her Associate Degree in Liberal Arts with a Focus on Education at Richard J. Daley College. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s from National Louise University. Ms. Sandra strives to make her classroom at The Goddard School of West Loop an environment that is warm and welcoming while also creating activities for the children where they can learn and have fun. When Ms. Sandra is not working she focuses on her personal health with visits to the gym.

    Ms. Jessica loves teaching because she likes to make a difference in children’s lives. She knows the importance of teachers building relationships with their students to make them feel safe. Ms. Jessica’s goal for the children is to help them build their confidence and motivate them. She also knows the importance of building a relationship with parents to work as a team to help and encourage their child reach every developmental milestone. Ms. Jessica is currently attending Triton College pursing her Associates in Early Childhood Education. She is looking forward to implementing what she is learning and bringing it to our school to help the children in their growth.

    Ms. Victoria has been working in childcare since 2013 and studied at Purdue University. She hopes to bring her years of experience and education into the classroom to help support each child in their growth. She believes all children are capable of all things and learn through experiences. Creating a safe place for children is very important to her because she wants all the children in her class to feel free to be themselves and encourage their curiosity. Building a relationship between teacher and families is very important to achieve the goals of each child. When creating lesson plans for her classroom, she believes it is important to focus on whole group instruction as well as each individual child. She enjoys incorporating nature into my lesson plans and loves doing sensory activities with my students.

    Ms. Theondra enjoys seeing children in her classroom meet their milestones. She likes working with infants because of infants’ fast development in a short amount of time. Ms. Theondra loves doing sensory and art activities with children. She believes when working with infants a teacher must be well organized to keep all the needs of the children a priority. She began working in childcare in 2022. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies and exploring the downtown Chicago area.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Alyeyah believes the role of a teacher is to be the guide to help children learn. Children should be given the opportunity to explore independently while being given guidance. All children are unique and learn differently. Providing a clean, healthy and safe environment are her top priorities. She studied Child Development at Kishaweeke College and has been working in childcare since 2020. Her favorite activity to do with children is art because she believes when creating art the children have the freedom to express themselves and demonstrate what they are able to do alone.

    Ms. Alexis is very excited to have joined us, she believes teachers are the key to a good educational foundation in a child’s life. In her experience she has found that children are creative, curious, eager to learn and fast learners. Ms. Alexis enjoys creating lesson plans that are educational and interactive, she believes learning should always be fun for young children. Ms. Alexis been working in childcare since 2018 and is working on her degree in Early Childhood Education. She would like to build an open line of communication with each family to ensure all the needs of eat child are being met.

    Ms. Yajayra believes it is important to provide children with a safe and healthy environment. She enjoys watching children grow and reach their full potential. Ms. Yajayra believes it is very important for the development of a child for parents and teachers to have an open line of communication. She is excited to build relationships with each family. She holds a Child Development Associate and has been working in childcare since 2022.
