Our Goddard School Teachers

With over 20 years of leadership experience in the technology and business sectors, Mrs. Naina Singh has successfully led high-performing teams and large-scale initiatives across global corporations. In March 2022, she embarked on a new and deeply fulfilling chapter bringing her expertise, heart, and vision to early childhood education as the on-site owner of The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop). A proud mother of two, Naina is passionate about building a school community that feels like an extension of home. Her goal is to create a nurturing, inclusive environment where families feel supported, children are celebrated, and meaningful relationships are fostered. Naina’s leadership is grounded in her strong belief that early childhood development is the foundation for lifelong success. Her vision is to create a premier preschool and daycare experience—one where educators and families partner together to prepare children not just for school, but for life.

Mrs. Nicole is a passionate early childhood education leader with over 10 years of experience. She believes that strong partnerships between families and teachers create a warm, supportive environment where every child can thrive. Her love for teaching began in preschool, inspired by a teacher who made a lasting impact. Nicole holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education with a focus on Child and Family Services and a Master’s in Education, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction. Since joining The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) as Director in January 2023, she has combined her academic background and leadership skills to help children build a strong foundation for success in school and in life. Outside of school, Nicole enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and son. As a family, they love baking, playing Uno, and watching movies together.

Ms. Sara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and has worked in early childhood education since 2018. She began her career as a preschool teacher and has since advanced into an administrative leadership role, while remaining actively involved in the classroom. Sara is passionate about creating a supportive, engaging environment where every child can thrive. She believes that children learn best through consistent routines and nurturing relationships, especially during the early years when critical social, language, and cognitive skills are developed. Her goal is to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning—making a positive and lasting impact on each child’s educational journey. Sara joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in March 2025.

Ms. Princess is currently a student at DePaul University, where she is studying Psychology. She is passionate about creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment where children feel safe, grow, and thrive each day. Ms. Princess enjoys building meaningful relationships with children, their families, fellow teachers, and other members of the school community. She joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in December 2024.

Ms. Shanaria has three years of experience working with children from infancy through Pre-K and brings a genuine passion for caring for and supporting young learners. She began her career studying healthcare and providing home care for older adults. Through these experiences, she discovered a special joy in working with infants and found that caring for young children came naturally to her. Ms. Shanaria believes that consistency, schedules, and routines are essential for creating a calm and nurturing classroom where children feel comfortable, supported, and ready to learn and explore. She is passionate about supporting each child’s individual needs and development while creating a warm, organized, and engaging learning environment. Ms. Shanaria looks forward to building meaningful relationships with children, families, fellow teachers, and staff while contributing to each child’s early learning journey. She joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in September 2026.

Ms. Liza brings over 25 years of experience as a teacher assistant and has dedicated her career to working with young children. She is passionate about early childhood education and believes patience, encouragement, and a nurturing environment are essential to helping children learn and grow. She believes every child is unique, curious, and capable, and strives to support each child’s development through meaningful interactions, play, exploration, and everyday learning experiences. She understands the importance of building strong relationships with children and their families and is committed to being a positive and supportive presence in each child’s life. Ms. Liza joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in February 2026. She is excited to be part of the Goddard family and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with children and families while creating a warm, nurturing, and positive learning environment each day.

Ms. Katherine has been working in childcare since 2020, gaining experience with children across various age groups. She believes patience is essential for effective teaching and aims to help children learn through play, songs, exploration, art, and social interaction. She views children as curious, unique, and intelligent individuals and is committed to building strong partnerships with parents to support each child’s growth. Ms. Katherine joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in March 2025.

Ms. Zahryah has four years of experience in early childhood education and comes from a family of educators, including her mother, who is also a teacher. She enjoys bringing science into the classroom and finding creative ways to engage infants through hands-on, meaningful daily activities. She believes infants learn through exploration, discovery, and positive interactions and is committed to supporting their curiosity and development each day. Ms. Zahryah is currently working in Infant 2 alongside Ms. Kat, where she is learning the classroom routine and building meaningful relationships with the children. Ms. Zahryah joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in January 2026. She is excited to grow alongside the infants and be part of their early learning experiences and development.

Ms. Talisha has four years of experience working with children and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a focus on Child and Family Studies. She believes children are curious, capable, and eager to learn and is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel comfortable growing, exploring, and engaging in their learning. She understands that every child develops at their own pace and strives to support each child through play-based, hands-on experiences and positive interactions. She is committed to helping children build confidence, develop a love for learning, and form meaningful relationships with those around them. Ms. Talisha joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in March 2026. She looks forward to building strong relationships with the children and families while supporting each child’s growth and development.

Ms. Simone believes that being a positive role model is essential, as children learn by example. She is dedicated to caring for each child with the same love and attention a parent would provide. With two years of experience in childcare, Ms. Simone looks forward to building strong relationships with her students and their families. She joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in June 2025.

Ms. Rose holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has over 20 years of experience working with young children. She is passionate about creating a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to learn at their own pace. She enjoys planning hands-on activities that inspire exploration, creativity, and discovery while helping children build confidence and develop a love of learning. Ms. Rose believes in getting to know each child as an individual and building meaningful relationships with both children and their families through open communication and trust. Ms. Rose joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in February 2026. She looks forward to supporting each child’s growth and development while creating a positive and engaging learning environment each day.

Ms. Sherese brings eight years of experience working with young children. She believes early childhood education provides an important foundation for a child’s lifelong love of learning. Through patience, consistency, and kindness, she strives to foster confidence, curiosity, and strong social-emotional development in every child. She looks forward to building meaningful relationships with each child and family while creating a supportive and nurturing classroom environment. Ms. Sherese joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in January 2026 and is excited to be part of the Goddard community.

Ms. Amariona is passionate about creating a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes growth and success for every child. She holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and brings two years of experience in early childhood education. Ms. Amariona joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in December 2024.

Ms. Yanira holds her CDA and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She brings five years of experience working with children ages 2–5 and a genuine passion for creating meaningful and joyful learning experiences. Ms. Yanira loves bringing her energy, creativity, and enthusiasm into the classroom to create a fun and engaging environment where children feel excited to learn, explore, and grow. She joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in September 2026.

Ms. Priscilla holds an Associate’s degree in Child Development and brings three years of experience working with children. She is passionate about creating an engaging and supportive environment where young learners can direct their own play, explore their creativity, and develop at their own pace. She believes teachers should remain actively engaged throughout the day by supporting children’s interests and encouraging their growth and development. Ms. Priscilla also values strong partnerships with families and enjoys supporting children through important milestones, including potty training. She is committed to building trusting relationships with children and families so each child feels safe, cared for, and supported both at school and at home. Ms. Priscilla joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in March 2026 and is excited to be part of the Goddard community.

Ms. Jessica is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young children. She believes that strong teacher-child relationships are essential in helping children feel safe, confident, and motivated to learn. Her goal is to support each child in building self-confidence and reaching important developmental milestones. Jessica also values strong partnerships with families, working closely with parents to create a collaborative and supportive environment for every child. She is currently pursuing her Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education at Triton College and is excited to apply what she’s learning to the classroom. Jessica joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in June 2023 and is committed to supporting children’s growth through nurturing relationships and developmentally appropriate practices.

Ms. Ashley holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and brings more than seven years of childcare experience in Early Childhood Education. Her goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child feels supported and can thrive. Ms. Ashley especially enjoys reading with children and uses stories to encourage early literacy, strengthen language development, and inspire a lifelong love of learning. Ms. Ashley joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in December 2024.

Ms. Marisela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Learning and has been working in childcare since 2022. She is passionate about supporting young children as they grow, learn, and explore the world around them. She believes every child is unique and capable of achieving great things. In her classroom, Ms. Marisela creates a warm and inclusive environment where each child feels safe, valued, and supported. She places strong emphasis on social-emotional learning, helping children understand their emotions while fostering kindness, empathy, and respect. Ms. Marisela joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in April 2025.

Ms. Reynalda holds an Associate’s degree and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about creating an inclusive, welcoming classroom where children feel valued and excited to learn. Ms. Reynalda believes in supporting the whole child—socially, emotionally, and academically—and looks forward to making a positive impact on each child’s early learning journey. She joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in October 2025.

Ms. Cari holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in Infants and Toddlers and has been working in childcare since 2022. She believes children are ready to learn and explore new things every day and is committed to supporting the unique learning styles of each child. In the classroom, Ms. Cari strives to create a safe and comfortable environment where children feel confident communicating their needs and excited to discover new experiences. She looks forward to building strong, open communication with families, knowing that partnership is key to supporting each child’s growth. Ms. Cari joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in September 2024.

Ms. Charlotte holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus on Child Development and has seven years of experience working with children. She also spent six years coaching gymnastics, where she discovered her passion for helping children build confidence and reach their full potential. She enjoys creating a positive and supportive environment where children feel encouraged to learn, grow, and explore. Ms. Charlotte believes in individualized learning, consistent routines, and fostering early literacy skills to help children build a strong foundation for kindergarten and beyond. Ms. Charlotte joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in June 2026. She looks forward to building meaningful relationships with the children and families while supporting each child’s growth and development.

Ms. Lorena believes that every child is unique and deserves a stimulating classroom environment that supports mental, social, and emotional growth. She views children as joyful, curious learners who thrive through play. Starting her career in education in 2020, Ms. Lorena emphasizes the importance of listening and patience in teaching. She joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in April 2025.

Ms. Latrice brings 17 years of experience in early childhood education and holds an Associate’s degree in the field. She believes that strong relationships between teachers and families are essential for supporting a child’s development. Ms. Latrice strives to create a classroom that balances structure with play-based learning and is dedicated to helping children expand their knowledge, build confidence, and grow at their own pace. She joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in October 2025.

Ms. Nicci brings three years of experience working with young children. After moving from Wisconsin to Chicago, she discovered her passion for early childhood education and has enjoyed being part of children’s growth and learning ever since. Her teaching philosophy centers on creating a warm, positive, and nurturing environment where every child feels encouraged, supported, and cared for. Ms. Nicci believes in building strong relationships with children and families and is committed to supporting each child throughout their individual learning journey. Ms. Nicci joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in December 2025 and is excited to be part of the Goddard community.

Ms. Vania has been working in childcare since 2022, gaining experience with children of various ages, with a special passion for infants and toddlers. She finds great joy in witnessing their rapid development during these formative years. Her teaching philosophy centers on recognizing each child’s uniqueness and providing a positive, nurturing environment that encourages exploration and learning. Ms. Vania looks forward to building strong relationships with the families at The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop). She joined the school in April 2024.

Ms. Leah is currently a student at Malcolm X College, where she is studying Biology. She has three years of experience working with children and is passionate about incorporating hands-on learning experiences, STEAM activities, and social-emotional learning into the classroom. She believes these experiences help children build confidence, express themselves, and develop a natural curiosity about the world around them. Ms. Leah looks forward to building strong relationships with the children and families while being a positive and supportive part of each child’s learning journey. Ms. Leah joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in April 2026 and is excited to be part of the Goddard community.

Ms. Jocelyn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Learning and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Education. She brings four years of experience working with children and has a genuine passion for supporting their growth and development. She believes children learn best through hands-on experiences, exploration, creativity, and play. In the classroom, she enjoys creating fun and engaging learning opportunities that encourage children to explore, create, and build their fine and gross motor skills. She also values collaborating closely with her co-teachers to create a positive and exciting environment where every child can learn and grow. Ms. Jocelyn joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in August 2026.

Ms. Ashley is currently pursuing a degree in Human Development and expects to graduate in December 2026. She has three years of experience working with children and is passionate about making a positive difference in their lives. Ms. Ashley values getting to know each child as an individual and building meaningful connections with children and their families. She enjoys helping children learn, grow, and gain confidence as they explore the world around them. Ms. Ashley joined The Goddard School of Chicago - West Loop in May 2026.

Ms. Yadhira is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology and brings four years of experience working with children. She joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in January 2026 and works part-time, supporting our school wherever needed while balancing her college schedule. Ms. Yadhira is passionate about building meaningful connections with children and enjoys getting to know each child as an individual. She loves being part of their daily experiences and creating a warm, supportive environment where children feel valued, cared for, and excited to learn.

Ms. Jasmine began her career in the food industry in 2021 and transitioned to childcare in 2024, bringing her passion for cooking to The Goddard School. She enjoys working closely with staff, families, and children, finding joy in the everyday connections that make a lasting impact. One of her favorite moments was receiving a hug from a child, a touching reminder of the important role she plays. Ms. Jasmine loves seeing the children’s excitement as she enters the classroom with nutritious meals prepared just for them. She joined The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) in May 2024.

Ms. Emily has been working with children professionally since 2022, gaining experience in Early Childhood Education and with children across various age groups. Her passion for working with children began at a young age through babysitting, and she continues to enjoy building connections with children and creating meaningful experiences for them. She is currently pursuing her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Ms. Emily believes children learn best through fun, active, and engaging experiences. She enjoys creating opportunities for children to explore, participate, and build relationships with their teachers and friends. Ms. Emily will be joining The Goddard School of Chicago (West Loop) as a float teacher, supporting classrooms and helping wherever she is needed. She looks forward to getting to know the children and families in our school community.
