Ana & Mauricio Chmelnik - Owners Ana and Mauricio are the proud parents of two beautiful children and both recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. Ana holds a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and is extremely knowledgeable in the developmental needs of children. Mauricio attended the University of Houston where he attained his LLM. They are both excited and proud to be a part of Goddard and are extremely committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children in the community.

Meet Ms. Patricia Educational Director, The Goddard School of Miramar Originally from Venezuela, Ms. Patricia brings more than 30 years of experience in early childhood education and school leadership. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education and Early Childhood Development. As an educator and mother of two daughters, she is committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

Meet Joamely Rodriguez, Our Assistant Director Joamely brings 15 years of experience in early childhood education, including more than 10 years with The Goddard School. She holds CDA and Director credentials and has experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), supporting children with diverse developmental needs. Joamely is dedicated to creating a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn.

Meet Ms. Estefanny, Our Enrichment Program Teacher A member of The Goddard School family since 2022, Ms. Estefanny brings 15 years of preschool experience to her role. She holds an associate degree in Education and a bachelor’s degree in Child Development. Originally from Mexico, she is dedicated to creating an engaging, supportive environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

Meet Ms. Patricia, Our VPK Teacher Ms. Patricia brings more than 27 years of early childhood education experience and has been part of The Goddard School family since 2014. She is FCCPC and VPK certified and is dedicated to creating a respectful, nurturing environment where children can express themselves, explore their creativity, and thrive.

Meet Ms. Marisol Originally from Peru, Ms. Marisol has been a valued member of The Goddard School team for 14 years. She holds a degree in Public Relations and Marketing and has completed extensive coursework in Early Childhood Education at Miami Dade College. Marisol is passionate about helping young children develop the social and interpersonal skills that support lifelong learning and success.

"Giovanna is the Co-Lead Teacher of the Dolphins class, bringing expertise and dedication to nurturing young minds with her CDA certification from the Florida Department of Children and Families. Her passion for art informs creative lesson plans that foster imagination and growth in her students. Outside of the classroom, Giovanna enjoys expressing herself through painting and spending quality time with her rescue cat, Marty Mcfly."

Meet Ms. Helaine With 43 years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Helaine has been a valued member of The Goddard School since 2016. She creates engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences tailored to each child’s needs. Her passion and creativity foster a positive classroom environment where children are inspired to learn, grow, and thrive.

Meet Ms. Yolanda Ms. Yolanda has been a valued member of The Goddard School family since 2015. She holds an Associate of Arts degree in Preschool Education and an FCCPC certification. She is committed to creating a safe, nurturing environment with engaging, age-appropriate activities that support each child’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development.

Meet Ms. Carolina Ms. Carolina brings three years of early childhood education experience and holds 45-hour childcare training and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentials. She is dedicated to creating an engaging, supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships

Meet Ms. Gabriela Originally from Venezuela, Ms. Gabriela holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and a bachelor’s degree in Bioanalysis. After 30 years in her previous field, she transitioned to early childhood education to pursue her passion for nurturing young minds. Her love of art, cooking, and crafts inspires creative learning experiences in a supportive and engaging classroom.

Meet Ms. Sonia Ms. Sonia brings 16 years of teaching experience and 45 hours of childcare training to The Goddard School of Miramar. She creates an engaging, supportive environment that encourages a love of learning while building each child’s confidence and self-esteem. Her goal is to make every school day positive and rewarding.

Meet Ms. Lucia Ms. Lucia combines her passion for early childhood education with her academic background in accounting. She holds a bachelor’s degree and has completed 45 hours of childcare training. Dedicated to creating an engaging and supportive classroom, she strives to make a positive impact while helping every child learn, grow, and thrive.

Meet Ms. Amanda Ms. Amanda has worked in early childhood education since 2003 and has been a valued member of The Goddard School since 2011. A graduate of Miami Dade College, she holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences for every child.

Meet Ms. Gloria Ms. Gloria leads the Seals classroom with dedication and care. She believes early childhood education provides the foundation for future success. As an educator and mother of two, she is committed to creating a nurturing environment that promotes emotional security, positive social development, empathy, and kindness.

Meet Ms. Nancy Originally from Colombia, Ms. Nancy holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, and 45 hours of childcare training. She is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where children learn through play, music, creativity, and movement.

Meet Ms. Hilda Originally from Ecuador, Ms. Hilda is a dedicated early childhood educator and mother of three. She has completed 45 hours of childcare training and is currently pursuing her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Ms. Hilda is committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment that supports each child’s communication, cooperation, and social-emotional development.

Meet Ms. Marjorie Ms. Marjorie has been a valued member of The Goddard School for the past year and has completed 45 hours of childcare training. She brings enthusiasm and dedication to the classroom, creating engaging experiences that inspire curiosity and foster a love of learning.

Meet Ms. Aida Ms. Aida has served as an Assistant Teacher in the young infant classroom since joining The Goddard School in 2017. She is passionate about early childhood education and takes pride in supporting each child’s growth and development.

Ms. Nesli, Assistant Director at The Goddard School, joined the team in February 2017. Holding both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Early Childhood Education, she brings a deep understanding of child development principles to her role. Ms. Nesli believes that social skills are fostered through peer interaction, and that circle time activities, such as exploring days of the week, colors, and shapes, play a vital role in skill development. She recognizes that each child develops at their own pace, with unique learning styles, and is committed to supporting diverse learning needs.

Ms. Natividad, a native of the Dominican Republic, has joined The Godard School team as a dedicated educator. With a background in early childhood education, influenced by her mother's experience operating a daycare, Ms. Natividad has further enhanced her skills through 45 hours of child development training. She brings warmth and compassion to her work, cherishing the innocence and curiosity of her young students.

Tamara is a dedicated early childhood educator with over eight years of experience working with young children. She holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and is passionate about providing a nurturing and positive learning environment. She enjoys helping children learn, grow, and reach important milestones through engaging, age-appropriate experiences.

Ms. Ulnie brings over 30 years of experience in education, teaching children from Pre-K through Junior High. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Staff Credential. A devoted mother of three, she is passionate about creating a loving learning environment and fostering children’s literacy through daily reading and storytelling.

Originally from Colombia, Andrea holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and two master’s degrees, along with 45 hours of childcare training. She is passionate about creating a warm, positive classroom where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn through play and exploration. A lifelong tennis player and former scholarship athlete, Andrea brings discipline, teamwork, and dedication to her role at The Goddard School.

Yirly is originally from Colombia and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a U.S. equivalent degree evaluation. She also has a technical degree in Early Childhood Education, completed the 45-hour Child Care training, and has completed 40-hour RBT training. Yirly has a genuine passion for working with children and enjoys creating a warm, supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and feel confident. Her background in psychology and early childhood education allows her to understand children’s individual needs while supporting their development in a caring and positive way.

Joselyn is originally from Venezuela and has a background in architecture and several years of experience caring for infants and toddlers. Patient and creative, she enjoys hands-on activities that support children’s development in a safe, welcoming environment. She has completed Florida DCF’s 45-hour child care training.
