Our Goddard School Teachers

The Meiers love watching the children at their school smile, laugh, grow and learn. Elizabeth and Martin discovered the value of a safe and nurturing learning environment through their own children's experience at The Goddard School. Before opening the Vine Street location in 2013 their backgrounds were as a lawyer and IT project manager. Operating the City Park West location has been a fulfilling change from their prior careers. Even though the Vine location serves many families who live in Park Hill the Meiers believe that Park Hill / Mayfair area still has a shortage of quality child care.

Heather moved to Colorado from a town right outside of Boston to pursue a college education at the University of Northern Colorado. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education, is Director Qualified through the State of Colorado, completed 12 college courses focusing on early childhood education including Administration of child care, and is a Level 6 (the highest you can achieve) Colorado Shines Early Educator. She began her teaching career working under the Montessori philosophy for five years as an infant, toddler and primary teacher in 2008 where she was awarded The Award of Excellence in her company in 2012. In 2013, she found her forever home with Goddard after falling in love with all that the program has to offer. She started as a teacher for many impactful years, then was promoted Assistant Director, and became the School Director at Goddard Park Hill when we opened our doors in 2019. She has a true passion for our our school and it truly shows!

I am an early childhood education professional with a degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, West Africa. With many years of experience working with children, I am passionate about supporting their growth and development. My training includes EQIT (Expanding Quality in Infant and Toddler Care) and the Pyramid Model, equipping me with the skills to foster positive relationships and promote social-emotional learning. I am a lively, approachable, and driven individual who values building meaningful connections and bringing positive energy to every environment. As an Assistant Director at The Goddard School and a Colorado Shines Level 5 professional, I am committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and high-quality environment for children, families, and educators. My leadership style is collaborative, relationship-focused, and grounded in trust and open communication. I strive to make a lasting impact by helping children thrive and families happy!

Riley moved to Denver from Columbus, Ohio. She is a Colorado Shines level 5 educator and holds a Colorado childcare director qualification. She received her Bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Bowling Green State University and began teaching preschool at a Goddard School in Ohio in 2015. Since then, she has worked in several childcare centers as both a teacher and an assistant director. Most recently, she worked as a nanny while completing her Master's degree in special education. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, playing volleyball, hiking, and spending time with her wife, golden retriever, and cat. Riley has a passion for helping children learn and is happy to be part of the Park Hill team!

Ms. Sandra is originally from Chicago, Illinois and moved to Denver in 1999. Ms. Sandra has worked with children for over 13 years! She is passionate about caring for her students and loves to incorporate her native language, Spanish, when singing songs and teaching new vocabulary. Ms. Sandra has been part of our Goddard family since 2019 and is a Colorado Shines level 3 educator. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her two sons and travelling.

Miss Idaly is a proud Denver native and a dedicated member of our infant team at The Goddard School of Denver – Park Hill. She has a natural gift for working with our youngest learners and brings calm, care, and compassion to the classroom each day. What Miss Idaly loves most about teaching is watching her students grow and discover the world around them. From first smiles to first steps, she finds so much joy in being part of each child’s early milestones and development. In her free time, Miss Idaly enjoys playing soccer and spending quality time with her family. Her playful spirit and nurturing heart make her a beloved part of the Goddard Park Hill community.

Miss Laura is originally from Pennsylvania and lived in New Jersey and Florida before making Denver, CO her home in 2018. She began her teaching career after graduating from high school. After discovering her passion, she went on to earn her degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. Laura is a Colorado Early Childhood Qualified Level 6- this is the highest Level you can achieve! We are so lucky to have her on our team.

Ms. Pamela is from Denver, Colorado and joined our Goddard family in 2019 and is Colorado Early Childhood Qualified Level 3 -this level is required for Large Center Director in The State of Colorado. Way to go, Pamela! Ms. Pamela enjoys working with kids because of the joy they bring to her every day. She loves getting to know her students and learning about each of their unique personalities.

Miss Susan is originally from Ohio and earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kent State University. She has 12 years of experience teaching. Miss Susan loves seeing smiles on her students’ faces each day. In her free time, she enjoys going to live theater.

Ms. Mabel is originally from Nicaragua. She loves to watch and guide the children in her care as they learn new things every day and explore their surroundings. Ms. Mabel has been part of our Goddard family since 2023 and is a Colorado Shines level 2 educator. In her spare time, Miss Mabel enjoys listening to all kinds of music.

Ms. Tonya joins our Goddard family with over 22 years of experience in the early education field. Her favorite part of teaching is making her students in our Hiking Honeybees classroom smile and laugh. She holds a Pyramid Plus certificate and has completed coursework in early childhood education. Ms. Tonya joined our Goddard family in 2022 Colorado Early Childhood Qualified Level 5 -this level is required for Large Center Director in The State of Colorado and is almost the highest you can achieve! In her spare time, she loves to relax, spend time in nature and visit her grandchildren.

Ms. Keisha has been working with and caring for children since the age of 16! She has earned her Child Development Associate certification and joined the Goddard Park Hill family in April of 2019. Keisha is from Denver, Colorado and has always had a passion for working with children. Keisha is a Colorado Early Childhood Qualified Level 3 -this level is required for Large Center Director in The State of Colorado.

Miss Stephanie was born in Denver, Colorado but grew up in Mexico. After she finished school, she came back to the United States. She gained experience working with children when she started taking care of her cousins, nephews and brothers. Miss Stephanie enjoys playing with children, teaching them Spanish, and guiding them in their education. In her free time, she likes going to the movies, taking care of her plants, and spending time with family and friends. Stephanie is a Colorado Early Childhood Teacher. We are lucky to have her!

Ms. Zahra is from Afghanistan. She worked as a teacher for 6 years in Afghanistan before she moved to the United States. She got her degree in language and literature. Zahra is an Colorado Early Childhood Teacher Qualified Level 5. Ms. Zahra likes to be with children and loves to share what she knows with them. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and she loves to cook delicious meals for them.

Ms. Kimberly was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She started teaching because of her love for children. She loves bonding with kids and loves seeing how they learn new things daily. Ms. Kimberly joined the Goddard Family in 2023 and is a Qualified Early Childhood Teacher in The State of Colorado Level 2.

Ms. Antoinette is originally from Ghana and has over 30 years of teaching experience. She moved to Denver in 2019 and has since received her CDA certification and completed Pyramid Plus and EQIT coursework. Ms. Antoinette joined our Goddard family in 2025 and is Colorado Early Childhood Qualified Level 3 -this level is required for Large Center Director in The State of Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys singing, reading, and creating educational activities to support other early childhood educators.

Ms. Debra was born and raised right here in Denver, CO. She has an educational background in Early Childhood Art education and has several years of experience in this field. She loves sharing knowledge with her students through literature and hands-on projects. In her spare time, Ms. Debra enjoys ceramics, gardening, crocheting and spending time with family and friends.

Ms. Lauren was born and raised in Littleton, CO. She earned her bachelor’s degree, majoring in Art, as well as several certifications in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Lauren's enthusiasm for this field stems from her passion to see her students thrive and achieve their developmental milestones. Ms. Lauren joined the Goddard Family in 2024 and is a Colorado Early Childhood Qualified Level 3 -this level is required for Large Center Director in The State of Colorado. In her free time, Ms. Lauren enjoys creating art and going on hikes with her dog.

Ms. Denise was born in Padre Island, Texas, and moved to Colorado during childhood. Ms. Denise has over 15 years of experience in early childhood education. Her favorite part of teaching is witnessing the joy and pride on a child’s face when they accomplish something new. Ms. Denise joined our Goddard family in 2024 and is Colorado Early Childhood Qualified Level 6 -this level the highest level you can achieve! In her free time, she enjoys reading, staying active, fishing, cooking, and camping.

Ms. Hysoonie (Ms. Henry) is originally from Denver, Colorado. She loves teaching because she loves watching kids grow. She has a passion for changing children’s lives. Ms. Henry joined our Goddard Family in 2025 and is Colorado Early Childhood Qualified Teacher. She has experience running classrooms public preschool and came to Goddard for the quality program. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, trying new things, and spending time with her three daughters.

Ms. Nancy was born in Chicago Illinois. Her family moved back to Mexico when she was 3 years old and returned to the United States in 1999 to make a home in Denver. Ms. Nancy joined our Goddard family in 2023 and is a Colorado Early Childhood Qualified Teacher as well as our Kitchen Manager. She runs a nutrious food program for our children and they eat everything she makes! Nancy is a mother of 8 adorable kids. She loves to work hard and treat everyone with respect. She enjoys working with children and making them smile every day.

Miss Sally is originally from Peoria, Illinois and moved to Colorado in 1983. She has her Bachelors’ degree in Physical Education from ECE-12th, Early Childhood Education endorsement, through 3rd grade, and a Masters’ degree in Counseling. Sally is passionate about working with children, especially the little ones! She enjoys seeing the looks on their faces when they learn something new.

Huda is from Iraq and is working towards getting her degree in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys working with children because she gets to help them create themselves into anything they want. Huda finds working with kids to be an important experience to her life. Ms. Huda is an Colorado Early Childhood Qualified Level 3 -this level is required for Large Center Director in The State of Colorado.

Ms. Yeimy is from Colombia and has been living in Colorado for three years. She loves coming to her classroom every day and seeing the children’s warm and welcoming faces. She loves that she learns something new every day from her students. In her free time, Ms. Yeimy enjoys listening to all kinds of music and spending time with her family and her dog.
