Our Goddard School Teachers

The Meiers love watching the children at their school smile, laugh, grow and learn. Elizabeth and Martin discovered the value of a safe and nurturing learning environment through their own children's experience at The Goddard School. Before opening the Vine Street location in 2013 their backgrounds were as a lawyer and IT project manager. Operating the City Park West location has been a fulfilling change from their prior careers. Even though the Vine location serves many families who live in Park Hill the Meiers believe that Park Hill / Mayfair area still has a shortage of quality child care.

Heather moved to Colorado from a town right outside of Boston to pursue a college education at the University of Northern Colorado. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education, is Director Qualified through the State of Colorado, completed 12 college courses focusing on early childhood education including Administration of child care, and is a Level 5 Colorado Shines Early Educator. She began her teaching career working under the Montessori philosophy for five years as an infant, toddler and primary teacher in 2008 where she was awarded The Award of Excellence in her company in 2012. In 2013, she found her forever home with Goddard after falling in love with all that the program has to offer. She started as a teacher for many impactful years, then was promoted Assistant Director, and became the School Director at Goddard Park Hill when we opened our doors in 2019. She has a true passion for our school and it truly shows!

Millie is an early childhood professional with a degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, West Africa. With many years of experience working with children, she is passionate about supporting their growth and development. Her training includes EQIT (Expanding Quality in Infant and Toddler Care) and the Pyramid Model, equipping her with the skills to foster positive relationships and promote social-emotional learning. She is a very lively, approachable, and driven individual who values building connections and bringing positive energy to her environment. As an Assistant Director at The Goddard School and a Colorado Shines Level 5 professional, she is committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and high-quality environment for children, families, and educators. Her leadership style is collaborative, relationship-focused, and grounded in trust and open communication. She strives to make a lasting impact by helping children thrive and families happy!

Ms. Riley relocated to Denver from Columbus, Ohio in June of 2025. She has a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a master's degree in Special Education with a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorders. She is a Colorado Shines level 5 early childhood educator and director qualified. Riley has over 10 years of experience in early childhood as both a teacher and an administrator. Her love for teaching and creative curriculum planning are evident in the way she coaches our teachers to facilitate meaningful lessons each day. In her free time, Ms. Riley enjoys cleaning, crafting, camping, and most importantly spending time with her wife, cat, and golden retriever.

Ms. Sandra is originally from Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Denver in 1999. She has worked with children for more than 13 years and is passionate about providing nurturing, high-quality care for the infants. She loves incorporating her native language, Spanish, into the classroom through songs, stories, and vocabulary-building activities, helping children develop early language skills in a fun and engaging way. As our Infant Program Supervisor and Credentialed Early Childhood Educator, Ms. Sandra brings extensive infant and toddler expertise to our school and plays an important role in supporting the continued growth and success of our program. Ms. Sandra has been a valued member of our Goddard family since 2019 and is a Colorado Shines Level 3 Early Childhood Educator. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family.

Miss Idaly is a proud Denver native and a dedicated member of our infant team at The Goddard School of Denver – Park Hill. She has a natural gift for working with our youngest learners and brings warmth, patience, and compassion to the classroom each day. Since joining our Goddard Park Hill family in February 2025, she has quickly become a valued member of our school community. Idaly is a Credentialed Early Childhood Educator, and her babies JUST adore her! What Miss Idaly loves most about teaching is watching her students grow and discover the world around them. From first smiles to first steps, she finds tremendous joy in supporting each child's early development and celebrating the many milestones along the way. In her free time, Miss Idaly enjoys playing soccer and spending quality time with her family. Her playful spirit, nurturing heart, and dedication to young children make her a beloved part of the Goddard Park Hill community.

Ms. Mabel is originally from Nicaragua and brings warmth, enthusiasm, and a love of learning to her classroom each day. She enjoys watching and guiding the children in her care as they explore their surroundings, develop new skills, and discover something new every day. Ms. Mabel has been a valued member of our Goddard family since 2023 and is a Credentialed Early Childhood Educator. She loves leading a fun, engaging one-year-old classroom where children can learn through play, exploration, and meaningful interactions. As a native Spanish speaker, Ms. Mabel enjoys incorporating aspects of her culture into her dual-language classroom experience. Through language, music, and cultural traditions, she helps children develop an appreciation for diversity while supporting early language development. Her nurturing personality, positive energy, and dedication to her students make her a wonderful part of the Goddard Park Hill community.

Ms. Tonya brings more than 22 years of experience in early childhood education to our Goddard Park Hill family. She is passionate about creating a nurturing, engaging, and socially enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Her favorite part of teaching is making her students smile and laugh while fostering meaningful learning experiences in our two-year-old classroom. Ms. Tonya joined our Goddard family in 2022 and holds is a 5th Level Credentialed Early Childhood Educator. This prestigious designation is one of the highest levels attainable in Colorado and exceeds the qualifications required for directors of large early childhood centers. She also holds a Pyramid Plus Certificate and has completed extensive coursework in Early Childhood Education, further demonstrating her commitment to excellence in the field. Known for her and dedication to her students, Ms. Tonya creates a classroom environment that encourages social-emotional growth!

Ms. Keisha earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and joined the Goddard Park Hill family in April 2019. Since then, she has become a valued member of our school community, known for her nurturing approach, positive attitude, and commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences for her students. A Colorado native, Ms. Keisha has been working with and caring for children since the age of 16. Her passion for early childhood education is evident in the supportive, engaging classroom environment she creates each day. Ms. Keisha is a 3rd Level Credentialed Early Childhood Educator, a designation that meets the qualifications required for leadership roles in large early childhood centers throughout the state. She has also completed both the Pyramid Plus Model training and EQUIT (Equity in Early Childhood Education), further strengthening her ability to support the social-emotional development and diverse needs of all children in her care.

Miss Stephanie was born in Denver, Colorado, and grew up in Mexico. After completing her education, she returned to the United States and began gaining valuable experience working with children through caring for her cousins, nephews, and younger brothers. These experiences helped inspire her passion for early childhood education and teaching. Miss Stephanie enjoys playing with her students, introducing them to the Spanish language, and helping guide them as they learn and grow. She loves building meaningful relationships with children and creating a positive classroom environment where they feel confident to explore and discover new things. Miss Stephanie is a Colorado Early Childhood Teacher and is a Credentialed Early Childhood Educator. Her dedication, enthusiasm, and nurturing approach make her a wonderful role model for her students. We are lucky to have Miss Stephanie as part of the Goddard Park Hill family!

Ms. Zahra is originally from Afghanistan, where she worked as a teacher for six years before moving to the United States. She earned her degree in Language and Literature and brings a strong educational background, a passion for teaching, and a global perspective to her classroom. Since joining our Goddard Park Hill family in 2023, Ms. Zahra has become a valued member of our preschool team. She holds a Colorado Early Childhood Professional Credential Level 5, an impressive achievement that reflects her dedication to the field of early childhood education. Ms. Zahra is currently working toward earning her Level 6 Credential, the highest level available in Colorado. She has already completed 11 early childhood education courses and continues to pursue additional coursework to further expand her knowledge and expertise. Ms. Zahra creates a classroom environment that is fun, organized, and engaging while fostering independence and confidence in our three-year-old learners.

Ms. Kimberly was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Her passion for working with children inspired her to pursue a career in early childhood education. She loves forming strong bonds with her students and finds joy in watching them learn, grow, and discover new things each day. Ms. Kimberly joined the Goddard Park Hill family in 2023 and is a Credentialed Early Childhood Educator. She brings love, light, and positivity into her classroom every day, creating a warm and nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to learn. Known for being organized, thoughtful, and dependable, Ms. Kimberly has a special ability to connect with children and help them thrive. Her caring nature and dedication to her students make her a valued member of our school.

Ms. Antoinette is originally from Ghana and brings more than 30 years of teaching experience to our Goddard Park Hill community. Her extensive background in education, combined with her passion for helping children learn and grow, makes her an invaluable member of our school family. Ms. Antoinette has earned her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and serves as a CDA Trainer, helping to mentor and support other early childhood professionals. She has also completed both Pyramid Plus and EQIT training and is Montessori Certified as well as a Montessori Trainer and Colorado Shines Level 3 Educator. In addition, Ms. Antoinette is a published author of A Suggested Scheme/Guide of Work for Early Childhood Educators, reflecting her dedication to advancing the field ECE. Ms. Antoinette joined our Goddard family in 2025. Her wealth of experience, commitment to professional excellence, and genuine passion for teaching is evident in everyhitng she does.

Ms. Sarah is a Credentialed Early Childhood Educator who brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine love for children to her classroom each day. She joined our Goddard Park Hill family in 2025 and has quickly become a favorite among both children and families. With two years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Sarah has developed a strong foundation in creating engaging learning experiences that support the growth and development of young children. She leads a fun, interactive one-year-old classroom where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn. The children absolutely adore Ms. Sarah, and it's easy to see why. Her warm personality, playful spirit, and nurturing approach help build strong relationships with each child in her care. In fact, we wouldn't be surprised if your child's first word was "Sarah"!

Ms. Debra was born and raised right here in Denver, Colorado, and brings a wonderful blend of creativity and experience to our Goddard Park Hill community. With an educational background in Early Childhood Art Education an abundance of experience working with young children, she is passionate about helping students learn and express themselves through hands-on exploration and meaningful learning experiences. Ms. Debra loves sharing knowledge with her students through literature, creative projects, and engaging classroom activities. Story time with Ms. Debra is a wonderful experience for our students. Ms. Debra joined our Goddard Park Hill family in 2022, is a Credentialed Early Childhood Educator and has become a valued member of our teaching team. Her nurturing personality, artistic talents, and dedication to early childhood education help create a classroom environment where children feel inspired, supported, and excited to learn.

Ms. Denise was born in Padre Island, Texas, and moved to Colorado during childhood. She brings more than 15 years of experience in early childhood education and a deep passion for helping children learn, grow, and build confidence. Her favorite part of teaching is witnessing the joy and pride on a child's face when they accomplish something new, whether it's mastering a new skill, solving a problem, or reaching an important developmental milestone. Ms. Denise joined our Goddard family in 2024 and holds a Colorado Early Childhood Professional Credential Level 6, the highest level attainable in the state of Colorado. With more than 50 early childhood education courses completed, her extensive knowledge and expertise are evident in every aspect of her teaching. As our Pre-Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Denise leads an incredible classroom filled with engaging learning experiences, hands-on exploration, and opportunities for children to build independence and kindergarten readiness skills.

Ms. Nancy was born in Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Mexico with her family when she was just three years old. As a mother of eight wonderful children, Ms. Nancy brings a wealth of personal experience, patience, and understanding to her work with young learners. Ms. Nancy joined our Goddard family in 2023 and is a Colorado Early Childhood Professional Credential Level 2 Teacher. Her amazing personality, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are at the heart of everything she does. She is dedicated to supporting both children and teachers while helping create a positive and welcoming environment throughout the school. Currently serving as our School Support Teacher, Ms. Nancy works closely with every classroom, providing assistance wherever it is needed. Her flexibility, teamwork, and willingness to jump in and help make her an invaluable part of our program.

Miss Sally has been part of the Goddard School family since 2019, beginning her journey at our City Park West location before joining the Park Hill team. Her extensive educational background and passion for child development make her an incredible resource for both students and families. Sally is especially passionate about working with young children and finds great joy in helping them discover new skills and concepts. Her favorite moments are seeing the excitement and pride on a child's face when they learn something new for the first time. Through her nurturing approach, patience, and dedication, she creates an environment where children feel encouraged to explore, grow, and build confidence in themselves. In addition to her classroom expertise, Miss Sally runs our amazing Physical Education program for children ages one and older. Through fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities, she helps children build gross motor skills, coordination, confidence, teamwork.

Ms. Ana is originally from Colombia and moved to Colorado in 2023. She brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a love of learning to the classroom each day. Ms. Ana enjoys teaching because it allows her to be creative while helping young children develop new skills, build confidence, and discover the world around them. As a native Spanish speaker, Ms. Ana loves incorporating Spanish into her classroom through songs, conversations, and vocabulary lessons. She enjoys introducing children to a second language in a fun and engaging way, helping them build early language skills while celebrating cultural diversity. Ms. Ana is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology, further expanding her knowledge of child development and human behavior. Her dedication to continued learning reflects her commitment to providing the best possible experience for the children in her care.

Ms. Yeimy is originally from Colombia and has been living in Colorado for the past three years. She brings warmth, positivity, and dedication to her classroom each day and loves being greeted by the smiling faces of her students. Her passion for early childhood education shines through in the meaningful relationships she builds with children and families. Ms. Yeimy is a Colorado Shines Level 2 Early Childhood Educator who is known for her consistency, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment. She excels at leading a successful one-year-old classroom where children are encouraged to explore, grow, and develop confidence as they reach important milestones. As a teacher in one of our dual-language classrooms, Ms. Yeimy enjoys incorporating both English and Spanish into everyday learning experiences. She believes that children and teachers learn from one another, and she loves discovering something new each day.

Ms. Mackenzie is a Colorado Shines Level 2 Educator with over two years of experience in the early childhood education field. She brings warmth, enthusiasm, and dedication to our school each day and is the perfect fit for our Younger Preschool classroom. Ms. Mackenzie has a natural ability to connect with both children and their families, helping create a welcoming and supportive classroom community. The children absolutely adore her, and her nurturing personality helps them feel safe, confident, and excited to learn. One of her favorite parts of teaching is building strong relationships with families and watching her students grow, develop new skills, and thrive throughout their early learning journey. Ms. Mackenzie is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences and takes pride in fostering a positive environment where every child feels valued, encouraged, and ready to succeed.

Ms. Sheila has been working in early childhood education for almost 5 years and brings a caring, thoughtful approach to her work with our youngest learners. Ms. Sheila loves watching her students grow, learn, and accomplish important developmental milestones. From first smiles to first steps, she finds joy in celebrating each child’s progress and helping them build a strong foundation for future learning. Ms. Sheila is a Colorado Shines Level 3 Early Childhood Professional. In the State of Colorado, a Level 3 credential meets Director Qualification requirements. With Goddard experience dating back to 2022, Ms. Sheila excels at leading a nurturing and engaging infant classroom. She is highly organized, attentive to detail, and dedicated to maintaining a safe, loving environment where children can thrive. Her calm and steady presence helps create a peaceful atmosphere, allowing children to feel secure, comfortable, and confident as they explore the world around them.

At 72 years young, Ms. Stephanie's passion for nurturing young minds burns brighter than ever. With more than 15 years of experience in early childhood education, she brings a wealth of knowledge, wisdom, and compassion to our Goddard Park Hill community. Her dedication to children and families has been a driving force throughout her career, including the successful launch and operation of her own child care center. Ms. Stephanie earned her degree through community college and has devoted her professional life to creating positive learning experiences for young children. Known for her deeply respectful and child-centered approach, Ms. Stephanie believes that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and appreciated for exactly who they are. She is known for ending her conversations with "Thank you for being you."

Ms. Aaliyah is originally from the Bronx, New York, and moved to Colorado when she was 10 years old. Although she is newer to the early childhood education field, she is eager to learn, grow, and make a positive impact on the lives of young children. Ms. Aaliyah enjoys building strong relationships with both her students and their families. She loves teaching children new things and especially enjoys getting to know each child's unique personality and interests. Her caring nature and enthusiasm help create a welcoming and engaging classroom environment where children feel supported as they learn and grow. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Aaliyah is currently attending school to become a Medical Assistant and has earned a certification in Phlebotomy. She enjoys painting, practicing yoga, and cooking. Ms. Aaliyah especially loves incorporating age-appropriate yoga and movement activities into her classroom with our one-year-olds, helping them build balance, coordination, body awareness.
