    The Meiers love watching the children at their school smile, laugh, grow and learn. Elizabeth and Martin discovered the value of a safe and nurturing learning environment through their own children's experience at The Goddard School. They bring their business backgrounds as a corporate lawyer and IT project manager, respectively, to support the faculty at City Park West.

    Ms. Heather is our Curriculum Director. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies and English. Additionally, she has her Master's Degree in Elementary Education along with her Teaching Certification for K-6. Ms. Heather also has her Director's Certificate for Early Childhood Education. She loves teaching all children, but especially younger children because of their sweetness and eagerness to learn. Ms. Heather looks forward to the smiles and milestones from the children each day and is excited to make the Goddard School at City Park West the best that it can be!

    Ms. Char is a native of Denver, Colorado and has two amazing teens, Sir Devon and Trinity, who are the joy of her life. Ms. Char began her journey teaching in the Early Childhood Education field in 1989. She earned her Degree in Early Childhood Education and holds her Director’s Certification for Early Childhood Education through the Colorado Department of Education. Ms. Char joined the City Park Goddard family in August of 2014, as the Infant Supervisor and has grown to love each member of the school as a vital part of this amazing body of awesome teachers. In January 2017, Ms. Char joined the administrative team as Assistant Director and in January 2018 was promoted to Co-Director she is always ready to expand her journey with great expectations. Ms. Char’s heartfelt desire is to build strong relationships with our students, families and communities to make a difference in the lives of our future.

    Director
    Christie is new to our school but has been with Goddard for nearly a decade. She was the director of another Goddard School for the past five years. She has helped open two local schools and prior to becoming a director, she was also an infant and toddler teacher. Christie has a bachelors degree in business management as well as Early Childhood Teaching and Directors certificates. Christie is excited to join the City Park West school and her two kids are starting at the school as well.

    Maria

    Assistant Director
    Maria was born and raised in the Philippines and has lived in Florida, North Carolina and Washington. She spent most of her life growing up in South Texas where she recently moved from. She is looking forward to getting to know Colorado a bit more, and so far loves how welcoming everyone has been. Maria has a degree in Business Administration and has background working for admissions at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley, in addition to her various experience working with kiddos from infants to teenagers. Combining her love for kiddos and working for admissions has led her to the Goddard School. Working for Goddard has been so rewarding and definitely has been so such a privilege to work with such fantastic people.

    Ana was born in Mexico and raised in Denver since she was 2 years old. Eventually Ana would like to go back to school for phlebotomy or be a pediatrician. Ana loves working at Goddard because of this love for children. In her free time, Ana likes to eat good food, shop, and travel.

    Annalee was born and raised in Montana and moved to Denver, Colorado in October of 2017. Annalee has always had a passion for working with children. She especially has a huge heart for watching infants and toddlers grow, learn, and explore new experiences. Annalee enjoys outdoor activities, traveling and musical events. She is excited to be a part of our great school.

    Catherine started her early childhood career when she was 16 years old but began caring for young children even before that. She has a passion for helping children thrive and grow into their potential. She takes pride in the role early childhood educators have in shaping our future generations and loves making a difference. She enjoys learning and brings that enthusiasm to her classroom. When she is not teaching, she is either outdoors or cozied up with a good book.

    Destiny is a loving and caring person and will do anything to help those who need anything. She is family oriented and loves spending time with them. She is out to chase her dreams while also living life to the fullest. Working with children has brought joy in her life and she hopes to be able to bring joy to everyone she meets.

    Emily graduated from MSU with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Emily has been working with children since 2017. She loves to work with children and used to help in her grandmother's daycare when she was younger. In her free time Emily enjoys drawing and writing.

    Estela

    Lead Teacher
    Estela was born in Jalisco, Mexico and then moved to California when she was 14 years old. After getting married Estela moved back to Mexico where she worked at a private elementary school for 6 years. Aside from teaching, she also worked for evening programs supporting children further with their reading and writing skills. Estela believes that children have pure souls and will return the love that you give them. Estela loves to work with children and can’t see herself doing anything else. When she isn’t teaching, she enjoys spending her free time reading and doing arts and crafts.

    Lupe is excited that she is a teacher at The Goddard School. Lupe believes that it’s the teacher’s duty to provide a safe, clean, and material rich environment for children to be creative in. She finds having a positive attitude and good communication with parents an important aspect of a child’s education. Lupe has two children of her own and enjoys taking walks with her family. Lupe also enjoys shopping and doing arts and crafts.

    Lead Teacher
    Maria Estela was born and raised in Jalisco, Mexico and moved to Denver in 2018. She graduated from Bruce Randolph High school and is currently attending MSU Denver in pursuit of a degree in Elementary Education. She believes that the love of being an educator is in her blood since her mother and several aunts are teachers. Her favorite hobbies are singing, dancing, crafting, and traveling.

    Paula started working in Early Childhood Education over 20 years ago. She has provided care for hundreds of children in different centers throughout Denver. She got her credentials from Community College of Denver. Paula is excited to be a part of the Goddard Team.

    Rue has been teaching preschool for one year, and she is so excited to be here at Goddard! She is originally from Layton, Utah. She moved to Denver in August 2022, and she has loved every second of it. She has a cat named Bayard who is almost 2 years old and she loves him very much. In her spare time, she enjoys digital drawing and going to concerts. Rue is over the moon to be a part of our school!

    Sarah is excited to be a member of the Goddard family! Her friends call her "Waterbug" because she loves being in and around water. Sarah loves to travel and see new places. She lives with her cat and loves to go hiking and exploring on the weekends. Sarah has worked with children for almost 18 years and loves what she does.

    Shanna was born and raised in rural Iowa. Her mom did in-home child care when she was growing up, which is where her love of working with children was realized and where it blossomed. Shanna moved to Colorado in June of 2019 with her family and they all absolutely love it here.
