As a global nonprofit working in over 80 countries, Cognia serves 36,000 institutions, nearly 25 million students, and five million educators every day.

Goddard’s Circle of Excellence Award for Education acknowledges Schools that provide the highest-quality and most consistent educational programs in every classroom. To be considered for the award, each School must earn one of the top two ratings of its state’s licensing program, become accredited by at least one of the four primary accreditors or achieve P21 (Partnership for 21st Century Learning) Exemplar status.  Schools that earn this award represent some of the top education programs in our system.

The mission of P21: A Network of Battelle for Kids (BFK) is to serve as a catalyst to position 21st century readiness at the center of American K-12 education by building collaborative partnerships among education, business, community and government leaders. P21, now a network of BFK, will continue to support a vision for learning to ensure 21st century readiness for every student. The Goddard School strives to provide the best possible learning environment, educational framework and professional development opportunities.

The Joe Schumacher Award recognizes a franchisee who has an unwavering belief in the Goddard brand, is a leader in the adoption of new programs and services and is an active member of the local community. The Joe Schumacher Award was named after Joe Schumacher, the former CEO and chairman of GSI’s board of directors.

Goddard’s Circle of Excellence President’s Club Award recognizes franchisees that meet the highest standards set by GSI in the areas of health and safety, curriculum, overall quality, punctual reporting and business operations. Eligibility is limited to franchisees that achieved the highest level of excellence, scoring in the top ten percent in each category.

The Health & Safety Award honors the top franchisee or franchisees who have gone above and beyond to provide the highest health and safety standards for the children.

Goddard’s Circle of Excellence Award recognizes franchisees that meet the highest standards set by GSI in the areas of health and safety, curriculum, overall quality, punctual reporting and business operations. Eligibility is limited to franchisees that score in the highest range in all of these categories.

The Leadership Award recognizes one franchisee from each of the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest and Western regions based on their leadership and their mentoring of fellow franchisees. These franchisees demonstrate an unwavering belief in the Goddard system. Additional criteria include the adaptation of new programs and services, participation in national and market events, engagement in the community, school accreditations, participation in GSI meetings and being a brand ambassador.

The Outstanding Customer Experience Award is presented annually. It recognizes those that have developed a culture within their Goddard School that ensures members of their management team and faculty provide the highest level of customer service to current and prospective Goddard families.

The Philip Schumacher Scholarship was named for the retired President and CEO of Goddard Systems, Inc. (GSI). This $10,000 scholarship is presented annually to a franchisee who exemplifies managing an outstanding business, commitment to maintaining and improving The Goddard School brand as well as being valued by their community and respected by fellow franchisees for his/her commitment to quality.

The Ladera Rancho Chamber of Commerce is committed to making a difference through business, local charities and schools systems in the Ladera Ranch and the developing area of Rancho Mission Viejo. The Business of the Year award recognizes a local business that demonstrates outstanding contribu¬tions to the community.

This award recognizes the best of Orange County -- as voted by the readers of the Orange County Register.
