    Layne

    Owner
    Ms. Layne graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Education and Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Arkansas. Prior to owning The Goddard School, she was the Director of Rehabilitation and a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in adult rehab in Central Arkansas. She and her husband, Casey, are the proud parents of their two sons, Cooper and Turner. Layne is passionate about early childhood education and the development of young people. She is excited to create a unique, premier, and meaningful preschool experience for the Conway community. In her spare time, you will likely find her spending time with family, going to the lake, watching her race horses, or “Calling the Hogs!” at Razorback games.

    Director
    Ms. Cara graduated with an Associate of Arts in Education and Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from UCA. Her love for education goes back to being a little girl running around the school with her dad who was the elementary school P.E. teacher in her hometown. Cara has a passion for creating an environment where kids can thrive and truly enjoy coming to school. She is excited to carry out The Goddard School experience and ensure our students are receiving the best early education and care. Cara has two children, Barrett and Sutton, and a Golden Retriever, Millie. In her free time, she enjoys watching all sports, spending time with her kids, and reading a good book!

    Assistant Director
    Ms. Olivia graduated from UCA with a Bachelors Degree in Health Service Administration and worked as a site supervisor in childcare while attending college. Olivia is so excited to provide premier childcare and early education at The Goddard School and to help children excel socially, physically, and academically!

    Sarah

    Lead Pre-K Teacher
    Ms. Sarah comes to Goddard with 14 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education field and has her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. She is passionate about Kindergarten Readiness and teaching independence. Ms. Sarah and Kris, her husband, have three children and 2 messy but loved dogs! They are active members at Salem United Methodist Church and love to volunteer together. In her free time, Mrs. Sarah enjoys lake days, reading, and watching documentaries!

    Lead Pre-K Teacher
    Ms. Natalie has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Miami. She is a die-hard Philidelphia Eagles fan and loves helping others. She loves to explore new places, singing, and playing piano.

    Lead Pre-School Teacher
    Ms. Meredith is a University of Central Arkansas graduate with a Bachelors in Family and Consumer Sciences. She has grown up in Central Arkansas and can't see herself anywhere else. She is the oldest of 3 and has a huge love for kids!

    Pre-School Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Abbigail (Abby) is currently in college at UALR majoring in History to become a 7th-12th grade History teacher. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, hiking, listening to music, and going on road trips.

    Assistant Bridge Teacher
    Ms. Natalie has a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from UCA. She is a mom of one and she is passionate about working with children. When she isn't spending time with her son, she is knitting, crocheting, or reading.

    Lead Toddler Teacher
    Ms. Taylor is a graduate of UCA with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and has several years experience as a Preschool and Substitute teacher. She is so excited to be a lead teacher at The Goddard School! She is a mother of two adventurous daughters and has a very funny husband named Zach. She likes to be outside with their two dogs, Frank and Eugene!

    Lead Young Teacher
    Ms. Emma went to Lakeside High School and The Salon Professional Academy. She then switched to childcare and hasn't looked back since! She is originally from Hot Springs, Arkansas and moved to Conway several years ago to be closer to family. She is engaged and currently planning a wedding! She and her fiance have 2 dogs and love doing anything outdoors.

    Assistant Young Toddler Teacher
    Ms. Sophie is a graduate from Mayflower High School and The Salon Professional Academy for Esthetics. She has worked with children since she was a teenager and can't imagine doing anything else! She lives in Russellville with her husband and pets, and loves to read and antique shop.

    Lead First Steps Teacher
    Ms. Sherry graduated from Arkansas Tech with a Bachelors in Rehab Science and Bachelors in Criminal Justice. She is a Central Arkansas native and loves to be around any and all local music. She and husband have one son, Augustine, who attends The Goddard School, and 2 cats, Binx and Baby Beans! She is super crafty and loves to create.

    Infant Lead Teacher
    Ms. Adrian "Jetta" is a graduate of Morrilton High School with two years of college from UACCM. She is a very open person and likes to spoil her babies like they are her own! She is married and has a 10 year old son. Jetta grew up around kids her entire life and has worked with adults and children with disabilities. She loves to travel, play sports, sing, dance, and be goofy!
  •  Malissa

    Assistant Infant Teacher
    Ms. Malissa has a certificate of proficiency in Early Childhood Development and a CDA in Preschool. She has worked with children for 12 years, primarily in special needs. She was born and raised near San Francisco and moved to Arkansas at 11 years old. She has a son and loves nature, art, hands on activities, Harry Potter, and Taylor Swift.

    Resource Teacher
    Ms. Karla, "KK", is a graduate of Dardanelle High School and majored in Communications and Broadcast Journalism at University of Arkansas, Arkansas Tech, and Westark Community College. She is an Arizona born, Arkansas raised wife, mother, and grandmother. Her career experience is primarily professional photography. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and exploring the backroads of our country. She spends as much time with family as she can, especially with her 3 grands!

    Ms. Attalie is currently attending UCA and majoring in Education. She is a UCA cheerleader and loves working with children!
