Meet Bill and Melanie Owners

Bill and Melanie are the owners of The Goddard School of Simpsonville, The Goddard School of Greenville, The Goddard School of Greenville at Pelham Road, and The Goddard School of Simpsonville at Harrison Bridge. Melanie is from Hilton Head Island, SC. She attended The University of South Carolina where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Management and Master of Arts in Marketing Education and also earned a Certificate in Learning Disabilities from The College of Charleston. Melanie has many years of experience teaching students at different levels (preschool, elementary, high school, college) and combines her love of giving back with her experience of high standards in education. Also an alumni of the University of South Carolina, Bill holds a Retail Management Degree and has over 25 years experience in retail and business operations. Bill and Melanie look forward to offering a safe and nurturing environment where your children have fun while learning.

Infant

6 w - 12 m

In the Infant program, our teachers provide your baby with all the cuddles and care they need with opportunities to begin exploring the world around them.

Toddlers

12 - 24 m

As your little one rapidly develops physically and cognitively, our Toddler classroom is where their natural curiosity is fostered and their budding skills are nurtured.

Bridge

2 - 3 yrs

As your child continues to gain independence, build self-care skills and learn more about themselves, the Bridge classroom provides the support they need to thrive in a preschool setting.

Preschool

3 - 4 yrs

In our Preschool classroom, your child starts their journey into a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in a more structured setting.

Pre-K

4 - 5 yrs

As your child prepares for Kindergarten, our Pre-K classroom offers exciting opportunities to develop important skills, make new friends and explore the world around them.

We love Goddard! Our son has thrived at Goddard since he was 4 months old. Transitioning to Pelham was so easy on him! He’s had the best experience.

We put our newborn at the new Goddard in Pelham and have been extremely impressed. Top notch - CLEAN, one on one attention, group interaction providing intuitive guidance, sensory, art, structured scheduled activities, sweet attentive teachers, emailed pics throughout the day. We wanted something better than our previous daycare and are happy we made the move. We also appreciate the monthly “parents night out” option.

Our son is doing so well here: we started at another daycare for several months before the opening and were slightly nervous about the switch, but he is thriving! He has done really well with more structure and nap times than where he was, and we adore his teachers and the pictures that we get throughout the day. Couldn’t be happier!
