Our Goddard School Teachers

Bill and Melanie are the owners of The Goddard School of Simpsonville, The Goddard School of Greenville, The Goddard School of Greenville at Pelham Road, and The Goddard School of Simpsonville at Harrison Bridge. Melanie is from Hilton Head Island, SC. She attended The University of South Carolina where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Management and Master of Arts in Marketing Education and also earned a Certificate in Learning Disabilities from The College of Charleston. Melanie has many years of experience teaching students at different levels (preschool, elementary, high school, college) and combines her love of giving back with her experience of high standards in education. Also an alumni of the University of South Carolina, Bill holds a Retail Management Degree and has over 25 years experience in retail and business operations. Bill and Melanie look forward to offering a safe and nurturing environment where your children have fun while learning.

Kim Groves is originally from North Carolina and moved to Greenville with her family in 2003. Kim has been with Goddard since she joined our Simpsonville management team in 2007. She attended Western Carolina University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology, with a focus in Child Psychology. In her previous roles, Kim was a preschool teacher, a preschool program director and the Director of the Extended Day Program at Bell's Crossing Elementary. She does a great job of maintaining an active system of parent-school communications to promote a strong relationship between them, and she loves planning and implementing a program for teachers' professional growth! Kim also mentors other Goddard Directors around the country and has become an amazing resource for many other schools within our Franchise. She was recognized for her amazing talents, dedication, and hard work by winning The Goddard School National Director of the Year award.

Our onsite operator, originally born and raised in New York, relocated to Greenville to be closer to her mother. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Boston University and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Bridgeport. With over 25 years of experience working with children and an additional 5 years in business management, she is dedicated to fostering an environment where both students and staff feel valued and understood. Passionate about connecting with everyone she works with, she strives to meet individuals where they are, helping to support their growth and development.

Annamarie Scott is originally from Flint, Michigan and moved to the Greenville area to be close to family. She attended high school at Mott Middle College and is currently taking classes with Southern New Hampshire University. Ms. Annamarie has worked with children for over 12 years and is passionate about seeing them learn about the world around them through play! Her favorite children’s author is James Dean for his "Pete The Cat" book series, and her favorite children’s artist is Laurie Berkner. She loves of how her songs engage students and encourage them to get moving!

Allison is originally from central New York, but she and her family have lived in the Greenville area since 2018. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in human development from Eckerd College and her Master of Science degree in human resource management from Capella University. Allison has been in the education field for 23 years. Her previous roles include public school substitute teacher, before & after school teacher, preschool teacher, before & after school program director, summer camp director, preschool assistant director and school director. When she’s not at The Goddard School, Allison enjoys hiking, true crime mysteries and spending time with her husband and three children.

Ms. Veronica is originally from Venezuela and moved to Greenville 18 years ago because she fell in love with the area. She attended Maria Sautísima - Instituto Guicaporo Monsignor de Talavera and has spent over 20 years working with toddlers through preschool-aged children. Ms. Veronica is deeply passionate about teaching young children and enjoys incorporating creative arts and sensory activities into her lessons. Her favorite songs are Old McDonald and The Itsy Bitsy Spider, which are always a hit with her students. She also loves reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear, a favorite children's book that captivates young readers with its repetitive and colorful illustrations. Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Veronica is excited to share her language and culture with her students, enriching their learning experience. She is excited to bring her skills, experience, and love for teaching to The Goddard School family!

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Ms. Heather moved to the area in search of warmer weather and to be closer to family. With over 30 years of experience working with children of all ages, from infants to afterschool programs, Ms. Heather is passionate about helping kids grow and develop. One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching for Ms. Heather is witnessing the progress students make from the beginning of the school year to the end, especially when they experience those "AHA" moments. A big fan of Dr. Seuss, Ms. Heather finds inspiration in his imaginative stories and playful rhymes. Her favorite song, "You Are My Sunshine," holds special meaning as it reminds her of their late mother. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Heather loves doing crafts, crocheting, and playing board games, always eager to share these interests with others.

Born in Baltimore and raised in Greenville, SC, Ms. Savannah has spent her life surrounded by the joys of childhood education. She is currently planning to complete her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Strayer University, continuing her commitment to learning and growing in the field. With over 18 years of experience working with children, primarily infants and toddlers, Ms. Savannah is passionate about creating an environment where every child feels loved, safe, and supported each day. Her heart lies in nurturing the unique potential of each child, helping them build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. A lifelong fan of Dr. Seuss, Ms. Savannah finds inspiration in his whimsical stories and timeless lessons.

Originally from Hendersonville, NC, Ms. Cece moved to Greenville to grow her family and continue her journey in education. With a diverse background, including studies in finance at Salem State University and youth ministry at Valor Christian State, Ms. Cece brings a unique perspective to her work with children. With over five years of experience working with children ages 1 to 13, Ms. Cece is deeply passionate about fostering both learning and meaningful relationships with her students. She believes that strong connections are key to creating a positive and supportive environment where children feel safe to explore and grow. One of Ms. Cece's favorite children's books is Pete the Cat, which resonates with her love for fun, creative, and positive experiences in learning. Additionally, she speaks some of her husband’s language, further appreciating the beauty of cultural diversity and inclusivity.

Ms. Gabby is originally from Unityville, Pennsylvania. She and her family moved to the Greenville area because of her husband’s job and to help support a local church plant. Ms. Gabby attended the College of Southern Maryland, where she earned a certificate in Early Childhood Education. She has over 15 years of experience working with children, primarily with infants through preschool-aged students. Ms. Gabby is passionate about nurturing young children and helping them learn and grow into the adults they will become. Her favorite children’s book is Barnyard Dance by Sandra Boynton, as it was the first book she read to her oldest daughter. She is currently learning Spanish and German and knows some basic American Sign Language (ASL). A fun hidden talent of Ms. Gabby’s is her ability to make some really impressive animal noises, which always brings smiles and laughter to the classroom.

Ms. Hailey is originally from Clearwater, Florida, and moved to the Upstate to be closer to her family. She is currently studying Diagnostic Sonography at Spartanburg Community College. Since 2018, she has worked in childcare with children ranging from infants to 4 years old. She loves teaching and engaging with children through art, music, and sensory experiences, believing that learning through creativity fosters stronger emotional and social development. Her favorite children’s author is Eric Carle, whose vibrant illustrations and encouraging messages continue to inspire her work with young learners.

Originally from Greenville, Ms. Keaundra has been working with infants for 10 years. She is passionate about watching them grow and explore the world around them. One of Ms. Keaundra’s favorite children's songs is Wheels on the Bus because of the way it captures young children's attention and brings joy to their day. With her experience and love for children, Ms. Keaundra is committed to providing a nurturing space where every child feels safe and supported.

Ms. Rebeca is originally from Mexico and relocated to the area with her husband’s career. She earned her degree in Psychology from ONAM and also holds a second degree in Gastronomy. With over 10 years of experience working with children, Ms. Rebeca has taught both toddlers and preschool-aged students. As a mother of two, she brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to her role in the classroom. Ms. Rebeca is passionate about creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children feel encouraged to explore and grow. She enjoys fostering curiosity and helping children discover new things each day. She is bilingual in Spanish and English, enjoys baking, and has a hidden talent for belly dancing. One of her favorite classroom songs is The Wheels on the Bus because of its interactive and engaging nature.

Ms. Allyson was born and raised in Greenville. She graduated from Wade Hampton High School and continued her education at Greenville Technical College.She has five years of experience working with children, with most of her experience focused on infants and toddlers. She has a true passion for caring for little ones and loves being part of such an important stage in their development. She finds it incredibly rewarding to help children grow, reach milestones, and feel safe, loved, and supported each day. Her gentle and nurturing personality helps create a warm and comforting classroom environment for both children and families. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Allyson enjoyed being a cheerleader and dancer throughout high school, experiences that helped shape her energetic, positive, and team-oriented personality that she brings into the classroom every day.

Originally from Brazil, Ms. Ivonete lived in Knoxville, TN, before moving to Greenville for her husband's job. A graduate of Greenville Technical College, she has been working with 2-3-year-olds for over a year, and she is passionate about nurturing children's curiosity and love for learning in a supportive and engaging environment. One of Ms. Ivonete's favorite authors is Dr. Seuss, whose unique and interesting writing style inspires creativity and imagination in young learners. She believes that fostering a love for reading and exploration at an early age is key to a child’s development. Fluent in Portuguese, Ms. Ivonete loves incorporating arts and crafts into her lessons, allowing children to express themselves creatively while developing their fine motor skills. She is dedicated to creating a classroom environment where children feel inspired, valued, and excited about learning every day.

Originally from Virginia, Ms. Hailey moved to the area at a young age and has proudly called it home ever since. She is a graduate of James F. Byrnes High School, where she earned her high school diploma. Ms. Hailey has over five years of experience working with young children, primarily focusing on infants through two-year-olds. She is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and welcoming classroom environment where every child can learn, grow, and explore at their own pace. One of Ms. Hailey’s favorite children’s authors is Eric Carle, whose colorful and imaginative stories remind her of her own childhood and continue to inspire her work with young learners. Her kind, patient, and joyful approach helps each child feel loved and supported as they begin their learning journey.

Ms. Stephany was born in Georgia and grew up in New York before moving to Greenville. She holds a high school diploma and an esthetician license, and she is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Health Science at Grand Canyon University. With three years of teaching experience and years of babysitting infants, toddlers, and children up to age 12, Ms. Stephany is passionate about helping children learn to express their feelings and frustrations in healthy ways—believing that emotional regulation is a key skill that can shape future relationships. She loves reading Dr. Seuss for the fun and expressive way the stories can be brought to life, and she also speaks Spanish, bringing an added layer of connection to her classroom.

Originally from India, Ms. Sai came to the United States to explore new opportunities and create a bright future for herself. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Sarada College of Pharmaceutical Sciences. With over 3 years of experience working in childcare, Ms. Sai has primarily worked with preschool-aged children. Her favorite part of teaching is watching her students grow and develop. She takes pride in guiding them to become kind, respectful, and caring individuals, and she especially enjoys teaching good manners and positive behavior. Ms. Sai is fluent in Telugu and brings her creativity into the classroom through thoughtful decorations and engaging learning spaces. One of her favorite authors is Dr. Seuss, whose playful rhymes and meaningful stories inspire her daily teaching.

Ms. Caroline is from Greer, SC, which she proudly calls home. She was home schooled and also attended Greenville Technical College for two years. With over 10 years of experience in healthcare, babysitting, and teaching children of all ages, she brings a wealth of knowledge and care to her classroom. Her passion is making sure every child has a fun and positive day while enjoying enriching activities that help them learn and grow. Ms. Caroline loves children’s books, especially Pete the Cat and Dr. Seuss, which inspire imagination and joy. She also loves to sing, dance, and can even whistle like a cricket—bringing energy, creativity, and a little bit of magic to every day at The Goddard School!

Ms. Asheton is originally from Greenville, South Carolina, and brings more than 12 years of experience working primarily with infants and toddlers. She attended Clemson University and The Art Institute of Charleston, where she developed a strong foundation in education, creativity, and child development. She is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Her goal as an educator is to foster a lifelong love of learning while providing a secure and creative space where children can grow, explore, and thrive. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Asheton enjoys expressing her creativity through cooking and has a hidden talent for event and wedding planning and design. Her dedication, warmth, and creative spirit make her a wonderful addition to the lives of the children and families she serves.

Ms. Audra brings over 30 years of experience working with children of all ages—from infants to after-schoolers. Though she’s moved quite a bit throughout her life, she has spent most of her time in Arizona, Mississippi, and South Carolina. She moved to South Carolina in middle school when her family relocated for her stepdad’s business, and it’s been home ever since. With a deep love for early childhood education, Ms. Audra treasures the “lightbulb moments” when a child learns something new. Being part of the process as children grow, discover, and become who they are meant to be is what she finds most rewarding. One of her favorite books to share in the classroom is The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn—a comforting story that helps ease children’s fears of new experiences and reminds them they are never alone. Ms. Audra’s experience, compassion, and dedication make her a cherished presence in any classroom.

Ms. Michaela is originally from Prosperity, South Carolina, but recently made Greenville her home to be closer to friends. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Health Science from Midlands Technical College and has spent over 13 years working with young children, especially infants and toddlers. With a nurturing heart for early childhood education, Ms. Michaela is dedicated to creating a classroom environment where every child feels loved, safe, and valued. She enjoys reading stories and singing songs with her students—her favorite children’s song is “You Are My Sunshine,” which holds a special place in her heart as it reminds her of her grandmother. One of her favorite books to share is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle, a timeless story that helps spark curiosity and imagination in young learners. Ms. Michaela also knows basic American Sign Language (ASL) and loves incorporating signs into her daily lessons.

Born in New York and raised in South Carolina, Ms. Kiara is excited to be graduating from Greenville Technical College with an Associate’s in Early Childhood Education. She is eager to continue their journey at The Goddard School, where they look forward to gaining more knowledge and experience in the field of early childhood education. With a strong passion for working with young children, Ms. Kiara is committed to creating an environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Coming from a Dominican family, She understands Spanish and appreciates the richness of cultural diversity, which they aim to incorporate into their teaching approach. Excited about the future and the opportunities to learn and grow as an educator, Ms. Kiara is dedicated to providing children with the tools and experiences they need to succeed and thrive.

Originally from Massachusetts, Ms. Sarah lived in Florida for 30 years before relocating to Greenville to be closer to the mountains. A graduate of Daytona State College with an Associate’s in Early Childhood Education, she has over 10 years of experience working in childcare, with a special love for working with young children. Passionate about providing children with a positive, engaging experience, Ms. Sarah is dedicated to helping them thrive in a nurturing environment where they can grow and explore. With a focus on making learning fun, she enjoys introducing young children to the magic of ASL (American Sign Language), music, and dancing as ways to express themselves and enhance their learning. One of Ms. Sarah's favorite books is Brown Bear, Brown Bear, a beloved story that holds children's attention with its rhythmic, repetitive text and colorful illustrations.

Originally from India, Ms. Karthika moved with her spouse and holds a Bachelors in Information Technology. She spent several years teaching at the college level before discovering her passion for early childhood education. She believes strongly in the importance of the early years and loves creating a classroom environment filled with curiosity and care. Dr. Seuss stories are among her favorites to share.

Ms. Sirisha is originally from India and moved to the United States to pursue professional opportunities. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and has experience working with young children. Ms. Sirisha enjoys interacting with children, nurturing their development, and watching them grow and gain confidence each day. She is passionate about creating a supportive and engaging environment where children feel encouraged to learn and explore. Outside the classroom, Ms. Sirisha has many unique talents; she is a tournament chess player, a graphic designer, and speaks three languages: Telugu, Hindi, and English.

Originally from California, Ms. Natalia moved to the area due to a job relocation. She is a graduate of Greenville Technical College, where she earned a degree in culinary arts with a focus on baking and pastry. Although her background is in the culinary field, she has been working with children for two years, primarily with infants but also with toddlers. Ms. Natalia is passionate about witnessing “lightbulb moments” in the classroom—those special times when children discover new abilities and learn more about the world around them. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Natalia loves the Harry Potter book series, has a talent for crochet, cross-stitch, and, of course, baking and cooking. She enjoys bringing her creativity into the learning environment, ensuring that each day is filled with exciting new discoveries.

Ms. Tautyunna grew up in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and has a growing passion for early childhood education. She is currently working toward earning her CDA (Child Development Associate) credential to further her knowledge and skills in caring for young children. Ms. Tautyunna has been working with children for about two years, primarily with infants through 3-year-olds. She loves watching children progress, learn new things each day, and explore their world. Seeing children smile and engage in new experiences brings her great joy. One of Ms. Tautyunna’s favorite children’s books is Baby’s First Words, as it helps babies build their vocabulary and supports early language development in a fun and meaningful way.

Born and raised in Anderson, SC, Ms.Bethany holds an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a certification in Childcare Management. With over 5 years of experience working in childcare, she has had the privilege of working with children from infants through school-age, with a special fondness for one-year-olds. Ms.Bethany is passionate about forming meaningful bonds with both children and their families, creating a welcoming and nurturing environment where every child feels safe, loved, and valued. Her favorite children’s author is Audrey Penn, particularly for The Kissing Hand, a story that helps children navigate fear and anxiety, fostering a sense of security and connection. In addition to her work in early childhood education, Ms.Bethany knows some American Sign Language (ASL), which further enriches her ability to connect with a diverse group of children and families. She remains dedicated to creating an environment where children can grow, thrive, and be supported.

Ms. Brooke is originally from Ohio and moved to Greenville to attend Bob Jones University, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Child Development. With over six years of experience working in childcare, Ms. Brooke has primarily worked with toddlers through afterschool-aged children. She is passionate about watching children discover new things and loves building meaningful relationships with both the children and their families. Her favorite book is Goodnight Moon, a classic her mom read to her every night before bed, and she enjoys sharing this cherished story with her students. Ms. Brooke believes in creating a nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and feel valued.

Originally from Queens, New York, Ms.Jamie visited family in the South and quickly fell in love with the area, making it her new home. With a degree in Pastry and Baking, she brings a unique blend of creativity and artistry to her work with children. With over 5 years of experience working with children, from infants through 4 years old, Ms.Jamie is passionate about fostering creativity, building confidence, and giving children the freedom to express themselves in a supportive environment. She believes in the power of self-expression as a tool for growth and joy. Her favorite author is Barney Saltzberg, whose books inspire children to embrace the beauty of making mistakes and learning from them. Outside of the classroom, Ms.Jamie is a skilled cake decorator by trade, and she enjoys using her artistic talents in both her work and her hobbies. She is excited to continue nurturing young minds, encouraging creativity, and helping children gain confidence in their unique abilities.

Ms. Amelia grew up in the Spartanburg area before moving to Greenville in 2020 when her dad’s job brought her family there. After getting married, she and her husband chose to make Greenville their permanent home. She began her educational journey at Spartanburg Methodist College, where she earned an Associate of Arts degree. She then completed her Bachelor of Arts with concentrations in Psychology, English, and Professional Development. Ms. Amelia has spent many years working with children, primarily focusing on two-year-olds, though she has experience with age groups ranging from infants to six-year-olds. She is passionate about creating a loving, supportive, and engaging environment where children can thrive. One of Ms. Amelia’s favorite children’s authors is Dr. Seuss, whose stories hold special memories from her childhood.

Born and raised in Anderson, SC, Ms. Paris has over 3 years of experience working with toddlers, twos, and Pre-K children. With a passion for helping young minds explore the world around them, she finds joy in watching her students grow and develop through hands-on learning and creative exploration. Her teaching philosophy focuses on fostering curiosity and building a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Ms. Paris believes that each child’s unique journey is worth celebrating and that learning should be both fun and engaging. When she’s not teaching, Ms. Paris is actively learning Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL) to expand her ability to communicate with and support diverse communities. Her favorite children's book, We All Go Traveling By, reflects her love for adventure and discovery. Ms. Paris is excited to continue guiding her students through their early years, supporting them in becoming confident, curious learners.

Ms. Makiah is originally from Union, SC, but she loves the Greenville area and was excited for a fresh new change. She attended the University of South Carolina Union, where she earned her Associate of Arts degree. With about four years of experience working with children of all ages, Ms. Makiah is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys creating a positive, fun, and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. Her favorite book is One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish by Dr. Seuss, and a fun hidden talent of hers is that she can clog!

Originally from Atlanta, GA, Ms. Ashley has called the area home since she was just six months old. She earned her associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Greenville Technical College and has spent the past 16 years working with children from infancy to age three. Ms. Ashley is passionate about building strong connections with the children in her care, engaging with them through meaningful conversations and daily interactions. One of her favorite children’s authors is Dr. Seuss, and among the many songs she enjoys singing with her class, “The Wheels on the Bus” is a standout favorite. A fun fact about Ms. Ashley is that she loves to sing, a joy she often brings into the classroom to create a warm and cheerful learning environment.

Ms. Latoya is originally from Gaffney, South Carolina, and relocated to the Greenville area to pursue greater opportunities. She earned her Certificate of Achievement in Early Childhood Education from USC Upstate and has been working with children for six years, primarily with ages 3 to 10. She has a passion for creativity and enjoys encouraging children to express themselves through art. She loves decorating the classroom and sharing children’s artwork with their families, helping to build pride and confidence in their creations. One of her favorite book series to share with students is Pete the Cat. She also has some knowledge of Spanish, which she enjoys incorporating when possible.

Originally from South Africa, Ms Alissa relocated to the United States to pursue her college education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Educational Studies from Bob Jones University and brings over four years of experience working with children ages 3–6. Alissa is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to grow academically and socially. She is dedicated to fostering positive relationships with her students and helping each child reach their full potential. Alissa also speaks French, adding to the diversity and richness of the classroom experience.

Ms. Aliyah is originally from Western Massachusetts and moved to South Carolina to be closer to family and enjoy the warmer climate. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Greenfield Community College and has over seven years of experience working with children ages 3–12. Ms. Aliyah is passionate about helping children grow academically and emotionally, and she especially enjoys guiding them through challenges until they experience those exciting “lightbulb moments” when learning clicks. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and encouraging environment where every child feels confident, capable, and eager to learn.

Originally from Travelers Rest, SC, Ms. Braylan pursued her passion for early childhood education at Greenville Technical College. With 8 years of experience working with children of all ages, she is dedicated to being an active part of their learning journey and nurturing their growth every step of the way. Ms. Braylan is passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment where children feel encouraged and inspired to explore and learn. Her favorite song is "The Boundary Song," a reminder of the importance of respecting limits and kindness. She also enjoys reading Amelia Bedelia to children, as the playful and quirky stories bring joy while teaching valuable lessons. An avid lover of music, Ms. Braylan loves to sing, bringing a little extra fun and energy into the classroom.

Ms. Rachel, a proud native of the Greenville area, brings over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages. She has taken courses at Spartanburg Community College (SCC) to further her knowledge in early childhood education and continues to be passionate about nurturing young minds. Throughout her career, Ms. Rachel has loved watching children grow, explore, and imagine. Her favorite part of being in the classroom is witnessing those special “lightbulb” moments—when a child discovers something new and their eyes light up with excitement. She especially enjoys storytime, often sharing books by her favorite children’s author, Eric Carle. Another classroom favorite is The Goldfish Song by Laurie Berkner, which she loves for the way it gets children moving and using their imaginations to act out the fun lyrics. Ms. Rachel’s warmth, experience, and love for learning help create a joyful and engaging environment for every child she teaches.

Ms. Mariana is originally from South Florida and moved to Greenville to be closer to family. She is currently attending Grand Canyon University, working toward her degree in Elementary Education. With over six years of experience in childcare, Ms. Mariana has worked with children ranging from infants through middle school. She is passionate about positively impacting each child’s life and finds joy in witnessing students learn, understand new concepts, and experience their first "aha" moments. Ms. Mariana loves encouraging children's natural curiosity and fostering a love for learning. Her favorite book is Bear Snores On, a story she enjoys sharing with her students. Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Mariana also enjoys incorporating her language skills into the classroom to further enrich her students’ educational experience.

Originally from Arizona, Ms. Lauren moved here with a friend seeking a change of scenery and new opportunities. Currently, she is attending college to complete her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. With three years of experience working with children from infants through school age, Ms. Lauren is passionate about nurturing young minds and watching them develop into confident, capable individuals. One of the most rewarding aspects of her work is seeing children glow with pride when they accomplish something new. She is dedicated to fostering a strong sense of self-confidence in every child, helping them dream big.

Ms. Addison is from Greenville, SC, and is excited to be part of The Goddard School team. She graduated from Wade Hampton High School and attended Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School, where she earned her license. With two years of experience working with children, Ms. Addison loves making kids laugh and smile while teaching them new things and watching them learn and grow. Her joy, creativity, and positive energy make every day in the classroom fun and engaging!

Originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, Ms. Kaylin moved to the area to be closer to family. She earned her cosmetology license but switched her career path shortly after. With four years of experience working with children ages 1 to 4, Kaylin is committed to helping young learners build a strong foundation through regulation and independence. One of her favorite children’s books is Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss—a story her mother read to her growing up and one she’s always loved.

Ms. Jasmine is from the Greenville area and has a strong passion for working with children of all ages. She is currently in school working toward a degree in Psychology, which helps her better understand and support children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs. With over 15 years of experience, Ms. Jasmine has worked with children ranging from infants to teenagers. She truly enjoys being in the classroom and finds joy in watching children’s faces light up as they learn and grow. Ms. Jasmine is dedicated to creating a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every child feels encouraged to succeed.

Ms. Kiana is originally from Anderson, South Carolina, and later moved to the Greenville area with her husband in search of new and exciting opportunities. She is a proud graduate of Tri-County Technical College, where she earned both an Associate of Arts degree and a degree in Administrative Office Technology. With over a year of experience working primarily with children ages 1–4, Ms. Kiana brings patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for early childhood education to the classroom. She is passionate about helping her students exceed expectations, grow in confidence, and discover their strengths. Every day, she strives to become the best teacher she can be—learning from her students just as much as they learn from her. One of Ms. Kiana’s favorite children’s book series is Pete the Cat. She loves the fun rhythm and sing-along style of the stories, which children quickly connect with and enjoy.

Originally from Florida, Ms. Leah moved to Greenville to attend college and quickly grew to love the area and community. She is currently a student at Bob Jones University, where she is continuing her education while pursuing her passion for working with children. Ms. Leah has been working with children for the past three years and has experience with students ranging from K5 through 5th grade. She loves creating meaningful connections with children and believes every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. Building strong relationships and trust with her students is one of the most important parts of her role, and she enjoys helping children grow both academically and emotionally in a positive and supportive environment. Ms. Leah is excited to continue encouraging children through hands-on learning, kindness, and creativity while building lasting relationships with families.

Ms. Tyra is originally from St. George, South Carolina, and recently moved to Lyman to further build her career. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Education/Elementary Education through the University of Phoenix. Since 2019, Ms. Tyra has worked with children ranging from ages 2 to 11, gaining experience in a variety of educational settings. She is dedicated to creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students feel confident, curious, and excited to learn each day. One of her favorite children's songs is “If You're Happy and You Know It”—a fun, interactive tune that gets her students moving, smiling, and participating. Ms. Tyra also has a love for drawing and creativity, and she enjoys bringing her artistic skills into the classroom to make learning more hands-on and imaginative.

Ms. Tyreion is originally from Ohio and recently moved to the area in search of new opportunities. She has attended Bryant & Stratton College, where she earned a degree in Social Work. While she is new to working in a school setting, she has six years of experience babysitting and caring for children of various ages. She is passionate about creating an environment filled with comfort, positivity, and happiness. Growing up in a home that emphasized those values taught her the importance of nurturing children with patience and positivity. Tyreion’s favorite children’s song is “Old MacDonald Had a Farm,” a special song that always soothed her little sister. One of her hidden talents is her natural ability to brighten any room she enters. She is known for her consistently positive attitude and the warm smile she always brings with her.

Ms. Elianna grew up in South Africa and later relocated to pursue college and career opportunities. She earned her high school diploma through Trinity Christian School after being home schooled, which helped foster her independence and strong sense of responsibility. She has experience caring for children ranging from 6 months to 9 years old in a variety of informal settings, where she developed a nurturing and attentive approach to childcare. Ms. Elianna is passionate about supporting children’s growth and creating a positive environment where they feel safe and encouraged to learn. She truly enjoys working with children and believes they bring joy, energy, and positivity to those around them. Her caring nature and enthusiasm help her build meaningful connections with each child she works with.

Ms. Christil was born and raised in South Carolina and has a strong passion for working with young children. She earned a certificate in Business from Tri-County Technical College and is currently attending Walden University, where she is working toward her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. With over 23 years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Christil has primarily worked with children ages 2–5. She is dedicated to creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports each child’s growth and development. Ms. Christil enjoys sharing her love of reading with her students. Her favorite children’s books are the Llama Llama series by Anna Dewdney, which she loves using to encourage a joy for reading in her classroom.

Originally from Brooklyn, Ms. Raven moved to Greenville to be closer to family and continue her passion for working with children. Currently attending American Intercontinental University for accounting, Ms. Raven has over 10 years of experience working in childcare, specializing in toddlers through 5-year-olds. Ms. Raven is deeply passionate about seeing the excitement and joy on children's faces when they learn something new. She believes that every day in the classroom is an opportunity to nurture curiosity and creativity, fostering an environment where children can feel supported, encouraged, and engaged in their learning. A fan of fun and educational music, Ms. Raven's favorite songs are from Gracie's Corner, as they offer an enjoyable and interactive way for children to learn while having fun. With years of experience and a love for seeing children grow and thrive, Ms. Raven is committed to making every child’s learning experience an unforgettable one.

Originally from Scotland, Ms. Lynn moved to Greenville with her family from Dubai due to her husband's job. With a degree in Early Education and over 19 years of experience working with children, she is deeply passionate about inspiring young minds and creating a love for learning. Known for her enthusiasm during story time, Ms. Lynn loves to bring stories to life, especially Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson, one of her favorite children's books. In addition to reading, she enjoys sparking curiosity through hands-on science experiments that allow children to explore and discover the world around them. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Lynn enjoys playing the guitar and baking, sharing her love of music and creativity with her students whenever she can. She believes that education is about more than just academics—it’s about building relationships, fostering imagination, and inspiring children to ask questions and explore new possibilities.

Ms. Melina is originally from California and moved to South Carolina to be closer to family. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Phoenix, completed her Early Childhood Education studies at Pima Community College, and is certified in Special Education. She is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. With 25 years of experience working with children, including 15 years teaching children from birth through third grade, Ms. Melina is passionate about early childhood education. She strives to create a classroom where children feel loved, safe, capable, and excited to learn. By using hands-on activities, movement, visual supports, and encouragement, she helps each child grow and reach their full potential. A fun fact about Ms. Melina is that she can wiggle her ears and nose at the same time!

Ms. Christian is a proud South Carolina native who has lived in the state her whole life. A graduate of Easley High School, she brings 5 years of experience working with young children, from infants to 4-year-olds. She also has experience supporting children with autism and is passionate about creating an inclusive and nurturing environment for all. Ms. Christian’s goal in the classroom is to give every child a “home away from home”—a place where they feel safe, valued, and truly loved. She believes that building strong, caring relationships is the foundation for learning and growth. Her favorite classroom moments often include music and movement, especially with songs from Danny Go, which she loves for their interactive and energetic style. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Christian enjoys singing and sharing her love of music wherever she goes. Her warmth, dedication, and joyful spirit make her a beloved part of the classroom community.

Ms. Melissa grew up in New Hampshire before moving to Florida to pursue graduate school. In 2020, she relocated to Greenville when her husband’s job brought them to the area. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Keene State College and later completed a Master’s in Education at Florida Atlantic University. Ms. Melissa has been working with children for 12 years, supporting ages 3–18. She is passionate about the little building blocks of learning that come together to form bigger skills and loves witnessing her students experience those special “lightbulb moments.” Her favorite children’s author is Eric Carle because his books are engaging for all ages. She also enjoys the music of Raffi. One thing you might not know about Ms. Melissa is that she is an avid reader—she typically reads 6–10 books every month!

Originally from South Carolina, Ms. Hailey earned her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education – Social Studies from USC Upstate. She brings over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages, with most of her time spent nurturing and teaching children ages 3–5. Ms. Hailey has a true passion for helping children learn new skills and takes great joy in guiding them through the learning process. Watching them grow, explore, and gain confidence reminds her of the meaningful impact she’s making every day. When it comes to books and songs, she has too many favorites to choose just one—each one is exciting and engaging in its own way!

Ms. Preema is originally from India and proudly brings her passion for education, nurturing spirit, and diverse experiences to The Goddard School. She moved to South Carolina because she was drawn to the area’s beautiful weather and changing seasons, which reminded her of the importance of growth, change, and new beginnings. Ms. Preema earned her nursing degree in India and has spent many years working with children while also teaching nursing students and graduates. Her background in healthcare and education has helped shape her patient, compassionate, and encouraging approach to working with young learners. She is passionate about the enthusiasm children have toward learning and loves watching them explore, grow, and discover new things every day. The joy, curiosity, and laughter children bring into the classroom fill her heart and inspire her daily. Ms. Preema believes every child deserves a safe, supportive, and loving environment where they can build confidence.
