Our Teachers

Bill and Melanie are the owners of The Goddard School of Simpsonville, The Goddard School of Greenville, and The Goddard School of Greenville at Pelham Road. Bill and Melanie have three wonderful children named Miller, Alexander, and Parker. Melanie is from Hilton Head Island, SC. She attended The University of South Carolina where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Management and Master of Arts in Marketing Education and also earned a Certificate in Learning Disabilities from The College of Charleston. Melanie has many years of experience teaching students at different levels (preschool, elementary, high school, college) and combines her love of giving back with her experience of high standards in education. Also an alumni of the University of South Carolina, Bill holds a Retail Management Degree and has over 25 years experience in retail and business operations. Bill and Melanie look forward to offering a safe and nurturing environment where your children have fun while learning.

Kim Groves is originally from North Carolina and moved to Greenville with her family in 2003. Kim has been with Goddard since she joined our Simpsonville management team in 2007. She attended Western Carolina University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology, with a focus in Child Psychology. In her previous roles, Kim was a preschool teacher, a preschool program director and the Director of the Extended Day Program at Bell's Crossing Elementary. She does a great job of maintaining an active system of parent-school communications to promote a strong relationship between them, and she loves planning and implementing a program for teachers' professional growth! Kim also mentors other Goddard Directors around the country and has become an amazing resource for many other schools within our Franchise. She was recognized for her amazing talents, dedication, and hard work by winning The Goddard School National Director of the Year award.

Alexander Hyatt grew up in the Greenville area. Alexander graduated from Anderson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in supply chain management. After college, he was a realtor in the Greenville area. He has previous experience working with children of various ages, including coaching high school basketball summer camp programs and being a Vacation Bible School camp counselor for elementary age children. Alexander and his wife, Celeste, have three beautiful children, two of which attend The Goddard School.

Our onsite operator, originally born and raised in New York, relocated to Greenville to be closer to her mother. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Boston University and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Bridgeport. With over 25 years of experience working with children and an additional 5 years in business management, she is dedicated to fostering an environment where both students and staff feel valued and understood. Passionate about connecting with everyone she works with, she strives to meet individuals where they are, helping to support their growth and development.

Originally from Orlando, Florida, Rebecca Greene-Rettig moved to Greenville this summer with her family. Rebecca's husband is also in education, and her children (ages five and two) attend The Goddard School. Putting her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Central Florida to good use, Rebecca has been in early childhood education for eight years. She has worked as everything from a floating teacher, to lead teacher, to Assistant Director, to Director. Her favorite children’s author is Tomie DePaola. When she's not working Rebecca loves reading, being outside with her family, and cheering for the Buffalo Bills.

Allison Ellis is originally from central New York, but she and her family have lived in the Greenville area since 2018. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in human development from Eckerd College and her Master of Science degree in human resource management from Capella University. Allison has been in the education field for 23 years. Her previous roles include public school substitute teacher, before & after school teacher, preschool teacher, before & after school program director, summer camp director, preschool assistant director and school director. When she’s not at The Goddard School, Allison enjoys hiking, true crime mysteries and spending time with her husband and three children.

Ms. Veronica is originally from Venezuela and moved to Greenville 18 years ago because she fell in love with the area. She attended Maria Sautísima - Instituto Guicaporo Monsignor de Talavera and has spent over 20 years working with toddlers through preschool-aged children. Ms. Veronica is deeply passionate about teaching young children and enjoys incorporating creative arts and sensory activities into her lessons. Her favorite songs are Old McDonald and The Itsy Bitsy Spider, which are always a hit with her students. She also loves reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear, a favorite children's book that captivates young readers with its repetitive and colorful illustrations. Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Veronica is excited to share her language and culture with her students, enriching their learning experience. She is excited to bring her skills, experience, and love for teaching to The Goddard School family!

Annamarie Scott is originally from Flint, Michigan and moved to the Greenville area to be close to family. She attended high school at Mott Middle College and is currently taking classes with Southern New Hampshire University. Ms. Annamarie has worked with children for over 12 years and is passionate about seeing them learn about the world around them through play! Her favorite children’s author is James Dean for his "Pete The Cat" book series, and her favorite children’s artist is Laurie Berkner. She loves of how her songs engage students and encourage them to get moving!

Ms. Katelyn is originally from New York and moved to Greenville to be closer to her in-laws. She graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies and has been working in childcare for over 10 years, primarily with children from infants through kindergarten. Ms. Katelyn is passionate about watching children grow, learn, and develop over time. Her favorite children’s book is Little Blue Truck, as she loves how engaging and interactive the series is, capturing the attention of young readers. In her spare time, Ms. Katelyn enjoys spending time at the lake house with her family, where they create lasting memories together.

Ms. Breanna is originally from Minneapolis, MN, and moved here for college. She graduated from Bob Jones University with an Associate’s Degree in Child Care Development and has been working with children for over two years, from toddlers to junior preschool. Ms. Breanna is passionate about building strong relationships with children and enjoys watching their growth throughout the year. She believes in creating a nurturing environment where each child can develop emotionally, socially, and cognitively. One of Ms. Breanna's favorite authors is Eric Carle, whose colorful illustrations and engaging stories continue to inspire both her teaching style and the creativity of the children she works with. Ms. Breanna is dedicated to making each year a meaningful and impactful experience for the children here at The Goddard School.

Originally from Florida, Ms. Tamill relocated to be closer to family. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and has over 5 years of experience working in childcare, caring for children ranging from infants to middle schoolers. With a passion for watching young minds grow and develop, Ms. Tamill loves witnessing the unique personalities of each child she works with. Her favorite children's song, "5 Little Speckled Frogs," holds a special place in her heart because of its catchy tune that always gets the children singing along. Dedicated to nurturing a love of learning, Ms. Tamill strives to create a warm and welcoming environment where every child feels encouraged and supported.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Ms. Heather moved to the area in search of warmer weather and to be closer to family. With over 30 years of experience working with children of all ages, from infants to afterschool programs, Ms. Heather is passionate about helping kids grow and develop. One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching for Ms. Heather is witnessing the progress students make from the beginning of the school year to the end, especially when they experience those "AHA" moments. A big fan of Dr. Seuss, Ms. Heather finds inspiration in his imaginative stories and playful rhymes. Her favorite song, "You Are My Sunshine," holds special meaning as it reminds her of their late mother. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Heather loves doing crafts, crocheting, and playing board games, always eager to share these interests with others.

Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Ms. Stephanie is a dedicated on-site cook with a degree in Psychology from North Greenville University. With four years of kitchen experience and three years of working with children ages 3-5, she finds joy in nurturing young minds—whether through the meals she prepares or the moments she shares with the children. Ms. Stephanie takes pride in preparing nutritious, delicious meals that fuel their learning and play, knowing that a well-fed child is a happy, thriving one. Her favorite book, The Wonder of You by Nancy Tillman, holds a special place in her heart, as she enjoys reading it with her children.

Originally from Greenville, SC, Ms.Dana has always had a passion for early childhood education. She earned an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Greenville Technical College, and has been dedicated to working with infants for over 27 years. Throughout her career, she has found the greatest joy in watching babies master new skills and milestones. Ms.Dana's favorite children's author is Eric Carle, whose vibrant use of color and imaginative stories bring a special kind of magic to childhood. One of her favorite songs is "Mary Had a Little Lamb," which reminds her of the simplicity and joy in nurturing young minds. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, a hobby that allows her to unwind and express her creativity. With nearly three decades of experience, Ms.Dana is deeply committed to creating a loving, nurturing environment where each baby feels safe and supported as they grow and learn.

Born in Baltimore and raised in Greenville, SC, Ms.Savannah has spent her life surrounded by the joys of childhood education. She is currently planning to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education at North Greenville University, continuing her commitment to learning and growing in the field. With 18 years of experience working with children, primarily infants and toddlers, Ms.Savannah is passionate about creating an environment where every child feels loved, safe, and supported each day. Her heart lies in nurturing the unique potential of each child, helping them build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. A lifelong fan of Dr. Seuss, Ms.Savannah finds inspiration in his whimsical stories and timeless lessons. Outside of teaching, she loves to cook and bake, sharing the joy of food with friends and family. Ms.Savannah remains deeply committed to providing a caring and enriching environment for all the children she works with.

Originally from Germany, Ms.Nadine moved to Greenville with her family to enjoy the beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. While she initially pursued a career in physical therapy, her passion for working with children led her to shift focus, and she has now been working with young children, primarily infants and toddlers, for 4 years. Ms.Nadine is passionate about creating a fun, engaging and creative environment where children feel loved, seen and encouraged. She loves Winnie the Pooh, as it teaches valuable lessons about kindness, friendship, and understanding, all important qualities she strives to instill in the children she works with. Fluent in both German and English, Ms.Nadine enjoys connecting with a diverse group of families and children. In her free time, she enjoys creating jewelry, combining her love of craftsmanship with her creative spirit.

Originally from Massachusetts, Ms. Sarah lived in Florida for 30 years before relocating to Greenville to be closer to the mountains. A graduate of Daytona State College with an Associate’s in Early Childhood Education, she has over 10 years of experience working in childcare, with a special love for working with young children. Passionate about providing children with a positive, engaging experience, Ms. Sarah is dedicated to helping them thrive in a nurturing environment where they can grow and explore. With a focus on making learning fun, she enjoys introducing young children to the magic of ASL (American Sign Language), music, and dancing as ways to express themselves and enhance their learning. One of Ms. Sarah's favorite books is Brown Bear, Brown Bear, a beloved story that holds children's attention with its rhythmic, repetitive text and colorful illustrations.

Originally from Rhode Island, Ms.Maria moved to South Carolina for a change of scenery and to explore new opportunities. Currently, she is pursuing an Associate’s degree in Art at Greenville Technical College, where she is blending her passion for creativity with her love of working with children. With over two years of experience in early childhood education, Ms.Maria has worked with children ranging from newborns to five years old. She is deeply passionate about building lasting bonds with both the children and their families, ensuring that each child feels valued and supported as they grow. Her favorite children’s author is Eric Carle, whose works remind her of the joys of childhood and the wonder of imagination. Additionally, Ms.Maria speaks and understands basic Spanish, allowing her to connect with a wider range of families and children in her community.

Ms. Suzanne is originally from Georgia and moved to Greenville two years ago to be closer to her family. She holds a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia and has over 20 years of experience working in childcare, with a focus on children ranging from infants through 5th grade. As a mother of three children with special needs, Ms. Suzanne has been a passionate advocate for inclusive education and is committed to creating environments where all children can thrive. She is also deeply interested in health and nutrition, believing in the importance of nurturing both the mind and body. In her free time, she enjoys poetry and music, and her favorite children’s author is Shel Silverstein for his humorous and simple approach to art and storytelling. Ms. Suzanne is also dedicated to sustainability and grows her own food, and she speaks some Spanish, which she enjoys incorporating into her classroom.

Originally from Inman, SC, Ms.Tyesha graduated from Converse College with a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Studies. With 8 years of experience working with children ranging from infants to 12th grade, she has developed a deep passion for building strong relationships with students and watching them grow, both academically and personally. Ms.Tyesha believes that the foundation of a positive educational experience lies in creating meaningful connections with each child. Her favorite book is The Kissing Hand, as it reminds her that love and support can travel with you wherever you go. She also speaks some Spanish, which allows her to connect with a broader range of families and children in her community. With her diverse experience and dedication to nurturing the hearts and minds of young people, Ms.Tyesha is committed to fostering an environment where every child feels valued, cared for, and ready to succeed.

Born and raised in South Carolina, Ms. Solana is a passionate and dedicated early childhood educator with over six years of experience working with infants and toddlers. Currently attending Greenville Technical College, Ms. Solana is continuing their journey in early childhood education, striving to create a positive and enriching environment for young learners. With a deep commitment to fostering a safe and welcoming space, Ms. Solana is focused on helping children grow and thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually. Their approach to teaching centers on understanding each child’s unique needs and interests while promoting a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Growing up in a bilingual household where both English and Spanish were spoken, Ms. Solana values cultural diversity and strives to create an inclusive classroom where every child feels seen and supported.

Ms. Brooke is originally from Ohio and moved to Greenville to attend Bob Jones University, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Child Development. With over six years of experience working in childcare, Ms. Brooke has primarily worked with toddlers through afterschool-aged children. She is passionate about watching children discover new things and loves building meaningful relationships with both the children and their families. Her favorite book is Goodnight Moon, a classic her mom read to her every night before bed, and she enjoys sharing this cherished story with her students. Ms. Brooke believes in creating a nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and feel valued.

Born and raised in Greenville, SC, Ms.Jacey attended Clemson University where she studied Psychology, developing a deep understanding of child development and behavior. With over 5 years of experience working with children, primarily from infants through kindergarten, she is passionate about fostering the confidence and self-esteem of young learners. Ms.Jacey is dedicated to nurturing each child’s unique potential, creating a safe and supportive environment where they can grow and thrive. Her favorite children's author is Anna Dewdney, whose stories capture the warmth and love that she strives to provide in her own work. One of her favorite songs is "You Are My Sunshine," a sweet reminder of the love and joy that children bring to our lives. With a heart full of compassion and dedication, Ms.Jacey continues to inspire young children to believe in themselves and embrace the joy of learning.

Originally from Greenville, Ms. Leila is currently attending Southern Wesleyan University, where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting. With over a decade of experience working in childcare, she has had the privilege of caring for children from 6 weeks and up. Ms. Leila is deeply passionate about providing all children with love and happiness to ensure their childhood memories are filled with joy and positivity. Every day, she strives to create a nurturing and supportive environment where children can grow, learn, and feel safe. A fun fact about Ms. Leila is that her favorite song is "If All the Raindrops Were Lemon Drops and Sundrops," as it’s a special tune that her son adores. It's a reminder of the simple joys that bring smiles to their faces. Originally from Greenville, Ms. Keaundra has been working with infants for 10 years. She is passionate about watching them grow and explore the world around them. One of Ms. Keaundra’s favorite children's songs is Wheels on the Bus because of the way it captures young children's attention and brings joy to their day. With her experience and love for children, Ms. Keaundra is committed to providing a nurturing space where every child feels safe and supported.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Ms.Veronica moved to Simpsonville 12 years ago and has since developed a deep love for the area. With a background in Early Childhood Education, she has been working with children for over 8 years, primarily with infants through Pre-K. Ms.Veronica is passionate about creating a fun, loving, and supportive environment where children feel free to be their true selves. She believes that a positive atmosphere helps children build confidence and fosters a love of learning. Her favorite book is Oh, the Places You'll Go! by Dr. Seuss, as it encourages children to dream big and realize the endless possibilities ahead of them. Growing up speaking Italian, Ms.Veronica is able to connect with a diverse range of families. She also has experience coaching All-Star Cheerleading, where she learned the value of teamwork and discipline, skills she applies in her work with young children.

Originally from California, Ms. Natalia moved to the area due to a job relocation. She is a graduate of Greenville Technical College, where she earned a degree in culinary arts with a focus on baking and pastry. Although her background is in the culinary field, she has been working with children for two years, primarily with infants but also with toddlers. Ms. Natalia is passionate about witnessing “lightbulb moments” in the classroom—those special times when children discover new abilities and learn more about the world around them. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Natalia loves the Harry Potter book series, has a talent for crochet, cross-stitch, and, of course, baking and cooking. She enjoys bringing her creativity into the learning environment, ensuring that each day is filled with exciting new discoveries.

Ms. Ada is a passionate educator originally from Boston who moved to Greenville to help with the family business. With over 11 years of experience working with children from infants through elementary school, Ms. Ada holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Greenville Tech. Dedicated to creating a classroom filled with community and empathy, Ms. Ada focuses on fostering strong, caring relationships with students while encouraging curiosity and emotional growth. A firm believer in the power of storytelling, Ms. Ada loves reading books by Mo Willems, whose fun, silly characters captivate young learners and immerse them in the joy of reading. Outside the classroom, Ms. Ada enjoys speaking Spanish, singing, dancing, and cooking—activities that are often shared with students to add excitement and creativity to the learning experience.

Originally from Charlotte, NC, Ms. Mykell moved here with her family for a new job opportunity and have since found a passion for working with children. She is currently attending Strayer University and will be graduating in 2025, where she is gaining valuable knowledge to further enhance her ability to work with kids. With over five years of experience working with children, particularly in the 2-5 age range, Ms. Mykell is passionate about creating a fun and engaging learning environment where children can thrive. She believes that learning should always be exciting and filled with joy, and she makes it her mission to bring that enthusiasm into the classroom every day. In her free time, she enjoys listening to Kids Bop with her daughter—it’s one of their favorite bonding activities. Ms. Mykell also loves to paint and draw, which allows her to express her creativity and connect with children through art.

Originally from Connecticut, Ms. Madison moved to the area due to her fiancé’s job. She attended Wilcox Technical High School, where she earned her cosmetology and hairdresser license. With nine years of experience working with infants to one-year-olds, she finds joy in watching children grow and discover new things each day. Ms. Madison’s favorite children’s author is Dr. Seuss, a love that stems from cherished childhood memories of her mom reading his books to her and her twin brother. Passionate about early childhood development, she is dedicated to creating a warm, nurturing environment where little ones feel safe and excited to learn.

Born and raised in Anderson, SC, Ms. Paris has over 3 years of experience working with toddlers, twos, and Pre-K children. With a passion for helping young minds explore the world around them, she finds joy in watching her students grow and develop through hands-on learning and creative exploration. Her teaching philosophy focuses on fostering curiosity and building a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Ms. Paris believes that each child’s unique journey is worth celebrating and that learning should be both fun and engaging. When she’s not teaching, Ms. Paris is actively learning Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL) to expand her ability to communicate with and support diverse communities. Her favorite children's book, We All Go Traveling By, reflects her love for adventure and discovery. Ms. Paris is excited to continue guiding her students through their early years, supporting them in becoming confident, curious learners.

Originally from Southport, NC, Ms. Lauren moved here when she was 6 years old and has since developed a deep passion for working with children. Currently, she is pursuing her psychology degree at Clemson University, which enhances her understanding of child development and learning processes. With over seven years of experience working with children, Ms. Lauren has had the pleasure of caring for and educating kids from 6 weeks to 12 years old. She loves finding creative and engaging ways to make learning fun for children, and she believes that every child deserves a learning experience that is as enjoyable as it is educational. One of Ms. Lauren's favorite parts of working with toddlers is introducing them to the wonderful world of books, especially those by Sandra Boynton. Her stories are interactive and allow for meaningful conversations between children and teachers, making them perfect for sparking young imaginations and fostering a love for reading.

Originally from Travelers Rest, SC, Ms. Braylan pursued her passion for early childhood education at Greenville Technical College. With 8 years of experience working with children of all ages, she is dedicated to being an active part of their learning journey and nurturing their growth every step of the way. Ms. Braylan is passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment where children feel encouraged and inspired to explore and learn. Her favorite song is "The Boundary Song," a reminder of the importance of respecting limits and kindness. She also enjoys reading Amelia Bedelia to children, as the playful and quirky stories bring joy while teaching valuable lessons. An avid lover of music, Ms. Braylan loves to sing, bringing a little extra fun and energy into the classroom.

Originally from Anderson, Ms. Cherysh recently moved to Greenville and is excited to be a part of The Goddard School. With over four years of experience working with children, Ms. Cherysh has a deep passion for getting to know each child individually and growing alongside them as they learn and develop. Having completed ECD101, Ms. Cherysh is well-equipped to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young learners. One of her favorite children's songs is "Wheels on the Bus" because it is fun, interactive, and gets kids moving, which she believes is key to keeping children engaged in the learning process. Outside of teaching, Ms. Cherysh enjoys singing and speaks some Spanish and Ghanaian, adding to the diverse cultural experience she brings to the classroom. She is dedicated to make learning an enjoyable and enriching experience for every child she works with.

Born and raised in Greenville and a proud graduate of Wade Hampton High School, Ms. Cinthia has been working in childcare for over four years, specializing in infants through 5-year-olds. With a deep passion for creating a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment, Ms. Cinthia is dedicated to helping young children feel secure and supported as they grow and explore. Ms. Cinthia's favorite children's author is Emily Winfield Martin, whose books bring a sense of nostalgia and warmth, sparking creativity and imagination in young readers. Fluent in Spanish, she enjoys sharing the beauty of language and culture with her students, fostering an inclusive and diverse classroom atmosphere. With a strong belief in the importance of emotional safety and developmental support, Ms. Cinthia is committed to helping children build confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning that will last a lifetime.

Originally from Aiken, SC, Ms. Britney moved to the area at a young age when her father’s job brought her family here. With both parents being teachers, she developed a deep appreciation for education and the joy of watching children learn and grow. With seven years of experience working with children from newborns to 16 years old, Ms. Britney is passionate about fostering a fun and engaging learning environment. One of her favorite children's activities is KooKoo Kangaroo, which she loves using to get kids up and moving in an exciting and interactive way.

Born and raised in Anderson, SC, Ms.Bethany holds an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a certification in Childcare Management. With over 5 years of experience working in childcare, she has had the privilege of working with children from infants through school-age, with a special fondness for one-year-olds. Ms.Bethany is passionate about forming meaningful bonds with both children and their families, creating a welcoming and nurturing environment where every child feels safe, loved, and valued. Her favorite children’s author is Audrey Penn, particularly for The Kissing Hand, a story that helps children navigate fear and anxiety, fostering a sense of security and connection. In addition to her work in early childhood education, Ms.Bethany knows some American Sign Language (ASL), which further enriches her ability to connect with a diverse group of children and families. Originally from Queens, New York, Ms.Jamie visited family in the South and quickly fell in love with the area, making it her new home. With a degree in Pastry and Baking, she brings a unique blend of creativity and artistry to her work with children. With over 5 years of experience working with children, from infants through 4 years old, Ms.Jamie is passionate about fostering creativity, building confidence, and giving children the freedom to express themselves in a supportive environment. She believes in the power of self-expression as a tool for growth and joy. Her favorite author is Barney Saltzberg, whose books inspire children to embrace the beauty of making mistakes and learning from them. Outside of the classroom, Ms.Jamie is a skilled cake decorator by trade, and she enjoys using her artistic talents in both her work and her hobbies. She is excited to continue nurturing young minds, encouraging creativity, and helping children gain confidence in their unique abilities.

Originally from Massachusetts, Ms. Elizabeth moved to Upstate South Carolina to embrace a slower pace of life and enjoy the warm weather. She earned her associate’s degree in Elementary Education from NorthShore Community College in Massachusetts. With about two years of experience working with children ages two and under, Ms. Elizabeth is passionate about fostering an inclusive environment where all students feel valued. She prioritizes building strong, individual bonds with each child, ensuring they feel supported and encouraged in their early learning journey. Her favorite children's author is James Dean, best known for the Pete the Cat series. She enjoys sharing these fun and engaging stories with her students. In addition to her work in education, Ms. Elizabeth is fluent in Spanish and enjoys expressing her creativity through making beautifully designed chocolate-covered strawberries.

Originally from Spartanburg, SC, Ms. Aniyah moved to Simpsonville to be closer to my siblings. She studied Education at the University of South Carolina, and has had the joy of working with children for over four years, primarily with children between the ages of 1 and 3. Ms. Aniyah is passionate about creating a warm, loving space where children feel safe, valued, and understood. I believe that every small moment with a child is an opportunity for growth, and she aims to teach with patience and a deep respect for each child's individual needs and pace. One of my favorite children's authors is Mem Fox. Outside of teaching, Ms. Aniyah enjoy photography and is currently taking French classes to further explore her love of languages and culture.

Ms. Mariana is originally from South Florida and moved to Greenville to be closer to family. She is currently attending Grand Canyon University, working toward her degree in Elementary Education. With over six years of experience in childcare, Ms. Mariana has worked with children ranging from infants through middle school. She is passionate about positively impacting each child’s life and finds joy in witnessing students learn, understand new concepts, and experience their first "aha" moments. Ms. Mariana loves encouraging children's natural curiosity and fostering a love for learning. Her favorite book is Bear Snores On, a story she enjoys sharing with her students. Fluent in Spanish, Ms. Mariana also enjoys incorporating her language skills into the classroom to further enrich her students’ educational experience.

Ms. Ashley is originally from Washington, D.C., and moved to Greenville with her dad when she was younger. With over four years of experience in childcare, Ms. Ashley has worked primarily with toddlers through preschool-aged children. She is passionate about teaching children new things and watching them develop over time. One of her favorite children's book series is Junie B. Jones, as she admires how Junie B. is always true to herself and expresses her unique personality, no matter the situation. Ms. Ashley is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive learning environment where children feel confident and excited about their growth.

Originally from Arizona, Ms. Lauren moved here with a friend seeking a change of scenery and new opportunities. Currently, she is attending college to complete her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. With three years of experience working with children from infants through school age, Ms. Lauren is passionate about nurturing young minds and watching them develop into confident, capable individuals. One of the most rewarding aspects of her work is seeing children glow with pride when they accomplish something new. She is dedicated to fostering a strong sense of self-confidence in every child, helping them dream big and believe in themselves. In her personal life, Ms. Lauren enjoys reading with her child, and her favorite book is Little Blue Truck. She also has knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL), and in a previous chapter of her life, she worked as a portrait photographer. Ms. Lauren is excited to continue her journey in education and help guide the next generation.

Born in New York and raised in South Carolina, Ms. Kiara is excited to be graduating from Greenville Technical College with an Associate’s in Early Childhood Education. She is eager to continue their journey at The Goddard School, where they look forward to gaining more knowledge and experience in the field of early childhood education. With a strong passion for working with young children, Ms. Kiara is committed to creating an environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn. Coming from a Dominican family, She understands Spanish and appreciates the richness of cultural diversity, which they aim to incorporate into their teaching approach. Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Ms.Addison is a passionate and experienced educator with a Bachelor's in Educational Studies from Winthrop University. With over four years of experience working with children ranging from ages 1 through middle school, Ms.Addison is dedicated to fostering a creative and engaging environment where every child can express themselves and explore their unique interests. Ms. Ana was raised in New York and later moved to Greenville to provide a calmer family environment for her loved ones. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychiatry from the State University of New York, which sparked her passion for understanding and supporting children's mental and emotional development. With over 10 years of experience in childcare, ranging from toddlers to Pre-K, she finds joy in helping children grow and navigate the challenges they face. A lover of children’s literature, her favorite author is Eric Carle, whose storytelling beautifully captures the minds and imaginations of young readers. In addition to her teaching expertise, Ms. Ana is fluent in Spanish, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of students and families. Her commitment to nurturing each child's potential and overcoming obstacles makes her a dedicated and compassionate educator.

Originally from Fort Myers, Florida, Ms. Mryhia is currently attending Greenville Technical College to pursue a career in diagnostic medical sonography. However, her passion for working with children has led her to over four years of experience in childcare, specifically with infants through 5-year-olds. Ms. Mryhia is deeply passionate about fostering curiosity and inspiring a love of learning in young children. She believes that every child deserves a nurturing environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and growth. One of Ms. Mryhia's favorite children's books is I Love You So Much, a special story her mom used to read to her as a child, which holds a meaningful place in her heart. With a strong connection to her family's heritage, Ms. Mryhia is learning German, as her grandparents are from Germany, and she values the richness of cultural diversity.

Originally from West Palm Beach, Florida, Ms. Kaylin moved to the area to be closer to family. She earned her cosmetology license but switched her career path shortly after. With four years of experience working with children ages 1 to 4, Kaylin is committed to helping young learners build a strong foundation through regulation and independence. One of her favorite children’s books is Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr. Seuss—a story her mother read to her growing up and one she’s always loved.

Originally from Rock Hill, Ms. Jordan came to the area to attend USC Upstate and has been working in early childhood education for over three years, specializing in children ages 2 to afterschool care. She is passionate about helping children reach key developmental milestones, fostering both academic and personal growth in a fun and nurturing environment. One of Ms. Jordan's favorite children's songs is Wheels on the Bus, a classic that never fails to engage and delight young learners. Beyond teaching, she has a hidden talent—she is ambidextrous, able to use both hands with ease, adding a bit of fun to her daily routine! Dedicated to supporting children as they explore, grow, and develop, Ms. Jordan is committed to providing a safe and inspiring space where every child can thrive.

Originally from Hendersonville, NC, Ms. Cece moved to Greenville to grow her family and continue her journey in education. With a diverse background, including studies in finance at Salem State University and youth ministry at Valor Christian State, Ms. Cece brings a unique perspective to her work with children. With over five years of experience working with children ages 1 to 13, Ms. Cece is deeply passionate about fostering both learning and meaningful relationships with her students. Originally from Brooklyn, Ms. Raven moved to Greenville to be closer to family and continue her passion for working with children. Currently attending American Intercontinental University for accounting, Ms. Raven has over 10 years of experience working in childcare, specializing in toddlers through 5-year-olds. Ms. Raven is deeply passionate about seeing the excitement and joy on children's faces when they learn something new. She believes that every day in the classroom is an opportunity to nurture curiosity and creativity, fostering an environment where children can feel supported, encouraged, and engaged in their learning. Originally from Scotland, Ms. Lynn moved to Greenville with her family from Dubai due to her husband's job. With a degree in Early Education and over 19 years of experience working with children, she is deeply passionate about inspiring young minds and creating a love for learning. Known for her enthusiasm during story time, Ms. Lynn loves to bring stories to life, especially Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson, one of her favorite children's books. In addition to reading, she enjoys sparking curiosity through hands-on science experiments that allow children to explore and discover the world around them. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Lynn enjoys playing the guitar and baking, sharing her love of music and creativity with her students whenever she can. She believes that education is about more than just academics—it’s about building relationships, fostering imagination, and inspiring children to ask questions and explore new possibilities.

Born and raised in Greenville, Ms. Angie is currently attending Grand Canyon University to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. With over four years of experience working with children of all ages, she is deeply passionate about helping children understand the real-world applications of what they learn, ensuring that their education is both meaningful and impactful. Ms. Angie has a special love for the works of Dr. Seuss, drawn to the playful rhymes and silly characters that make learning fun and engaging. Outside of her love for literature, Ms. Angie speaks Spanish, along with some Japanese and German, and enjoys sharing her appreciation for different languages and cultures with her students.

Originally from Greenville, SC, Ms. Shelby has a strong background with children and in emergency medical care. She holds a National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician certification and has been working with children—from toddlers to afterschool students—for over a year and a half. She finds joy in watching children grow, explore, and discover new things. One of Ms. Shelby’s favorite children’s authors is Dr. Seuss, and she loves singing the “I Like to Eat” song. With a genuine love for teaching, Ms. Shelby strives to create a warm and welcoming environment where every child feels supported and excited to learn.

Originally from Brazil, Ms. Ivonete lived in Knoxville, TN, before moving to Greenville for her husband's job. A graduate of Greenville Technical College, she has been working with 2-3-year-olds for over a year, and she is passionate about nurturing children's curiosity and love for learning in a supportive and engaging environment. One of Ms. Ivonete's favorite authors is Dr. Seuss, whose unique and interesting writing style inspires creativity and imagination in young learners. She believes that fostering a love for reading and exploration at an early age is key to a child’s development. Fluent in Portuguese, Ms. Ivonete loves incorporating arts and crafts into her lessons, allowing children to express themselves creatively while developing their fine motor skills.
