Our Teachers

Ms. Wendy Somers is the Owner of The Goddard School in Newtown. She previously worked for 20 years for companies like Nicole Miller, Estee Lauder and Liz Claiborne before deciding to purchase the school and begin her work in Early Childhood Education in 2002. When she isn't taking care of our school, overseeing faculty, or looking after the children and students, she enjoys spending time with her own family and wonderful daughter who is a Goddard graduate. Miss Wendy is proud to be a part of The Goddard School where she can provide a safe and secure environment for children to begin the process of becoming lifelong learners.
