Our Teachers

Mr. Jerry and Ms. Misty have been the on-site owners of The Goddard School on Western since 2015 and re-opened The Goddard School on Covell in 2025. Ms. Misty attended the University of Oklahoma where she studied Child Development and Early Childhood Education and Administration. She has been in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2010 and is passionate about providing a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for the students at our school. Mr. Jerry attended Drake University in Iowa where he studied Engineering. He joined Ms. Misty at The Goddard School full time in 2018. Mr. Jerry previously worked at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center for 24 years where he served as the Chief of Construction. He enjoys meeting families and seeing the joy on the children's faces as they master new skills and make new friends. Ms. Andrea joined our team in February of 2015 and is the Executive Director of The Goddard School on Western. Andrea oversees all aspects of the school operations. She studied Child Development and received a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Central Oklahoma. Andrea has been working in the early childhood education field since 2004. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael, and sons, Carson and Ryker. They can often be found traveling, going to the park, and swimming. Her favorite thing about working at The Goddard School is the relationships that she builds with the families, and she is passionate about providing them with high-quality childcare.

Ms. Tara joined our team in 2010 and is our Admissions Director. She studied Early Childhood Education at Missouri Southern State University and has been working in early childhood education since 2006. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family. Ms. Tara's favorite thing about working at The Goddard School is being able to give back to the community and building relationships with our families. She is passionate about early childhood education and believes that each child deserves the opportunity to receive a quality education.

Ms. Shelby joined our team in 2024 and is our Director. She has received a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and is currently working on Masters in Education at The University of Central Oklahoma. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and going to the zoo. Ms. Shelby's favorite thing about working at The Goddard School is helping and supporting the children on their educational paths along with partnering with families as they work together towards the goals of each individual family. She is passionate about providing the highest quality care and promoting a safe, positive environment for the children, families, and staff.

Ms. Brittany joined our team in 2025 and is our Assistant Director. She has been in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2020. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, watching movies and having game nights with her friends and family. Her favorite thing about working at Goddard is seeing the children's faces light up when they achieve new milestones. She considers it an honor to be able to help children grow by making a positive, lasting impression on our students.

Ms. Sierra joined our team in January 2025. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, painting, gardening and spending time with her family. Her favorite children's book is "Giraffes Can't Dance" by Giles Andreae and Guy Parker-Rees. She says her favorite part about working with children is being able to help them discover and understand things around them.

Ms. Emily joined our team in January 2025 and has been working in child care since 2022. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, and spending time with her friends and family. Her favorite children's book is anything Disney Princess related. She says her favorite part about working with children is watching them learn and grow.

Ms. Jaden joined our team in January 2025. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, hiking, camping and spending time with her friends and her dog. Her favorite children's book is "Winnie the Pooh" by A. A. Milne. She says her favorite part about working with children is seeing them gain confidence and learn new skills. She also loves seeing them foster new friendships.

Ms. Katie joined our team in January 2025 and has worked in childcare since 2005. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, shopping and spending time with her daughter. Her favorite children's book is "Pete the Cat Rocking in My School Shoes" by Eric Litwin. She says her favorite part about working with children is watching them grow and learn new things.

Ms. Jordan joined our team in January 2025. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, swimming, movies and playing with her 3 cats. Her favorite children's book is "Corduroy" by Don Freeman. She says her favorite part about working with children is watching their curiosity and creativity grow.

Ms. Sas joined our team January 2025. She received a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Central Oklahoma. Ms. Sas enjoys spending time with her husband Trey and three children. She can often be found doing puzzles, reading, swimming, or decorating. Ms. Sas's favorite children's book is "Papa, Please Get the Moon For Me" by Eric Carle and says that her favorite thing about teaching is seeing children understand something they have been working on and experiencing their happy moments.

Ms. Shyla joined our team in January 2025. She is currently pursuing a degree in English Education. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, hiking, traveling and singing. Her favorite children's book is "Where The Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak. She says her favorite part about working with children is watching them develop their skills and personalities.

Ms. Shydae joined our team in January 2025. In her spare time, she loves to draw, paint, hike and build Lego sets. Her favorite children's book is "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" by Laura Numeroff. She says her favorite part about working with children is making a difference in their lives and making them feel loved.

Ms. Hailey joined our team in January 2025. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, organizing, going on nature walks and traveling to new places. Her favorite children's book is "Rainbow Fish" by Marcus Pfister. She says her favorite part about working with children is building special bonds and providing a safe space for them.

Ms. Cameron joined our team in February 2025 and has been in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2022. She is currently studying nursing at UCO. In her spare time, she loves running, reading and spending time with her family. Her favorite children's book is "Goodnight Moon" by Margaret Wise Brown. She says her favorite part about working with children is building relationships with them and having fun.

Ms. Madison joined our team in 2025. She is currently studying sonography at UCO. In her spare time, she loves to hang out with friends and work out. Her favorite children's book is "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" by Laura Numeroff. She says her favorite part about working with children is being a role model for all the students she meets.

Ms. Haven joined our team in 2025 and has been in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2021. In her spare time, she enjoys playing video games. Her favorite children's book is "Oh, the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss. She says loves working with children because they are creative and fun.

Ms. Jocelyn joined our team in 2025. She has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2022. In her spare time, she loves to run track and cross country. She also enjoys going on mission trips to other countries. Her favorite children's book is "Oh, the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss. She says enjoys teaching because it's a way to bring a light to others no matter the circumstances.

Ms. Torie joined our team in January 2025. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and her favorite children's book is "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss. She says her favorite part about working with children is watching them grow and learn.

Ms. Macy joined our team in February 2025. She is currently studying nursing at UCO. In her spare time, she loves cooking, watching TV shows, baking and walking. Her favorite children's book is "Pinkalicious" by Victoria Kann. She says her favorite part about working with children is watching them grow and learn.

Ms. Carisa joined our team in 2025. She has been working in the field on Early Childhood Education since 2013. In her spare time, she loves woodworking, arts and crafts, watching tv and going on nature walks. Her favorite children's book is "The Rainbow Fish" by Marcus Pfister. She says her favorite part about working with children is watching the children learn new and exciting things.

Ms. Mykah joined our team in 2025. She has been working in the field on Early Childhood Education since 2017 and attended OSU-OKC and OCCC where she studied Early Childhood Education. In her spare time, she loves crocheting, hanging out with her godchildren and baking. Her favorite children's book is "Love You Forever" by Robert Munsch. She says her favorite part about working with children is seeing their genuine reactions to learning new things.

Ms. Natalie joined our team in 2025. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, working out and spelunking. Her favorite children's book is "The War That Saved My Life" by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley. She says her favorite part about working with children is seeing them learn and develop as they grow.
