Our Teachers

My name is Mr. Jason and I have been one of the owners of the Goddard School of Twinsburg since 2016. I live in Aurora with my wife, Stacie, and we have two children, Abby and Aaron, who both attended the Goddard School of Twinsburg before I became owner. It was that experience and first-hand knowledge of how the Goddard education set them up for success in school that made me want to join the ownership team. Before joining Goddard, I was a practicing attorney for 15 years having received my degrees from The Ohio State University. In my free time I enjoy running and love cheering on the Buckeyes.

My name is Ms. Randy and I am one of the owners of the Goddard School in Twinsburg. My husband, Jim, and I built the school and opened it in 2003. After ten years, Jim retired from working, and I now work with Mr. Jason, who just happens to be my son-in-law. We have three children and six grandchildren, five of which attended Goddard Schools. In my spare time, I love to read, travel, spend time with family and friends, embroider, and cross stitch. It is such a joy to work with young children and watch them grow and develop. I like the fact that every day is a new day!

My name is Ms. Holly and I've been at Goddard since August 2012. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Akron. I taught toddlers and preschoolers here until becoming the Director in 2019. I love being a part of a child's educational journey and watching them grow and develop here at our school! In my free time I like to read a lot, go to concerts, spend time with my friends and family, and snuggle with my two cats!

My name is Ms. Megan and I have been at Goddard since August 2015. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education with minors in Education, Fine Arts, and History from Kent State University. Before becoming Assistant Director in 2020, I taught pre-k for five years. I love supporting children’s growth and learning throughout their time at Goddard. During my free time I enjoy reading, crafting, and spending time with my husband and our two dogs.

My name is Ms. Mary and I have been at Goddard since September 2009. I graduated with a BA degree in Social Work with a minor in Early Education. I truly believe I have the best job as an infant teacher! I believe in the importance of the parent/teacher team and am privileged to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for your child. I enjoy spending time with my three children and two grandchildren, and hiking.

My name is Ms. Mallory and I've been at Goddard since October 2014. I graduated from The University of Akron with a degree in Child and Family Development. I love watching the babies learn and grow and develop every day. In my free time, I enjoying hanging out with my friends and family. I also coach high school swimming and love football!

Hello, my name is Ms. Margaret! I have been a teacher, both resource and lead, here at the Goddard School since May 2017. I have my Associate’s Degree in Education, and am in the process of getting my Bachelor’s Degree in Pan African Studies at Kent State University. Go Flashes! When I am not with family and friends, I enjoy doing activities such as attending sports games, spending time in the MetroParks, and eating local! Community is very important to me, and is seen in my teaching style! I love teaching! Not only do I help in planting the seeds in your child for language arts, cognitive development, science and social science-but also life skills! I am so excited to have your child, and watch him/her grow!

My name is Ms. Elizabeth I have been working at Goddard since November 2020. I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrated Mathematics Education and a minor in Psychology. I look forward to helping my students learn and build their confidence within a fun and safe environment. During my free time, I enjoy going for walks with my dog, Lexi, gardening, and playing video games, such as Minecraft and Animal Crossing with my husband.

My name is Ms. Sydney and I have been at Goddard since March 2021. I am a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Performance. I previously worked as a teaching artist teaching children (pre-k through 6th grade) how to incorporate theatre into their everyday lives. I have been working in the early childhood field since 2019. In my free time, I like to sing, dance, and act around the Cleveland/Akron area. I am so excited to meet and get to know your children and help prepare them for their next chapter!

My name is Ms. Maxine and I started at the Goddard School in August 2021. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in mild/moderate Special Education from Kent State University. I was a head counselor at Streetsboro Parks and Rec Day Camp where I worked for six summers. Teaching is my passion! I have always loved watching children grow and explore as well as learning alongside them! I am so excited for this year! When I am not at school, I enjoy singing, reading, hiking, and crocheting! I can’t wait to meet all of the Butterfly friends and families!

My name Ms. Melinda and I have been at Goddard since March 2022. I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies in 2018. I have an extensive background in education (everything from preschool, to interpreting for deaf children, to working with multiple handicapped children and adults) for the past 20 years. I’ve also recently had some experience in the mental health field. Children, especially infants and toddlers, have always been my “happy place.” Just being able to teach young children for me is better than any chocolate chip cookie!

My name is Ms. Maria and I have been working at the Goddard School since September 2019. I took a break to be a flight attendant, but came back to Goddard to teach preschool again! I am very excited to be back and work with your child. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Studies from Kent State University. In my free time, I love traveling and finding new shows to watch on Netflix. I am so excited to help your child learn and grow during this new adventure!

My name is Ms. Shannon and I have been at Goddard since August 2022. I graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Development. I have been teaching toddlers since 2016 and absolutely love it! I can’t wait to help your child learn and grow! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading books, and going on hikes.

My name is Ms. Melinda and I have been at Goddard since August 2022. I graduated from The University of Akron with an Associate’s of Science Degree as well as a certificate in both Parent Education and Manual Communication (ASL). In my free time, I love enjoying time with my friends and animals. I have found a passion in helping children achieve their goals through my first job as a Camp Counselor. I am so excited to be in the Lamb Room!

My name is Ms. Chelsea and I have been at Goddard since September 2019. I am a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a Youth Concentration as well as a Master’s Degree in Public Health. I have many years of experience teaching preschool. I worked at the Goddard School of Twinsburg from 2019-2020 when I moved away. My husband, two sons, three dogs, and I recently moved back to the area, and I was so excited to come back to Goddard! I am very excited to help your child learn and grow!

My name is Ms. Emily and I've been at Goddard since November 2022! I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. I am beyond excited to be a part of the Lamb Room and work with our older infants! In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and friends, watch movies, travel, listen to music, and go hiking. I can’t wait to get to know all of our Lamb friends and help them grow in their learning!

My name is Ms. Diamond and I have been working at Goddard since October 2023. I attended The University of Mount Union to study Psychology and am working towards finishing my degree. I have work with children since 2018 and enjoy seeing their smiling faces. I love nature and the outdoors, whether it’s taking my dog out for an adventure or with my friends, the outdoors is where I love to be. I am overjoyed to be here and work with the children in such an amazing space!

My name is Ms. Fareena and I am proud to be a teacher at the Goddard School since November 2023! I moved from Buffalo, NY, where I taught preschool and kindergarten for over 20 years. I have a Master’s Degree in Child Development. Teaching is my passion, but I also enjoy cooking, traveling with my family, and hiking. I have been married for 29 years and have two wonderful children. I love the season of fall and when their trees show their magnificent colors. My kids and I root for the Buffalo Bills while my husband cheers on the Cleveland Browns! I look forward to working together with you as partners in your child’s growth and development!

My name is Ms. Cali and I have been at Goddard since January 2024. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University. In my free time, I enjoy spending time at home with my cat, Presley, and going to dinner with my fiancé, Clarence. I have always been passionate about working with children and helping them learn and grow!

My name is Ms. Grace and I have been working at Goddard since January 2024. I graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, which includes both special education and general education. I am very excited to be working with the preschoolers! In my free time, I enjoy hiking, relaxing with my cats (I have 3), and spending time with friends. I love sports, especially softball, which I played for 9 years and coached for 6 years. I cannot wait to work with your child and be a part of their development and growth!

My name is Ms. Amber and I’ve been at Goddard since April 2024. I graduated from Nordonia High School in 2021 and I am studying Early Childhood Education at Cuyahoga Community College. I have worked in childcare since 2022. I am very involved with the children’s program at my church and have been for over 10 years! I am very into sports, especially softball, and was on the color guard team in high school. I am very excited for my adventure at the Goddard School to help the children learn and grow!

My name is Suesay and I started at Goddard in June 2024 and have been working in education since 2009. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education and a Master's Degree in Education Administration. In my free time, I love to take walks with my husband, Tamlyn, and my son, Tamir. I love working with children as it helps me to increase my imagination and creativity!

My name is Ms. Lizzie and I started at Goddard in June 2024! I am very excited to be a part of the team and I can't wait to get to know each and every student! In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, reading books, and taking walks with my dog! With my background in dance/music, I am looking forward to bringing fun and movement into our everyday routine!

I am Ms. Alejandra and I started in June 2024. I am currently in college working towards my History degree with a focus in Women's Studies. I am so excited to be working in the Butterfly Room! I lived in Mexico during my childhood, then Texas, where I was a swimming coach, and now I am enjoying the beauty of Ohio. My favorite things to do are to swim, discover new TV shows, travel, and spend time with my cats. I love working with children because every one has a unique personality with so much talent and potential!

My name is Ms. Jaya and I have been at the Goddard School as a Resource Teacher since September 2014. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Comparative Literature with Honors. In my free time, I enjoy long walks with my dog, Misty, cooking, watching my kids play sports, and watching television with my husband. I love working with children and am so happy that I have been given this opportunity everyday at Goddard!

My name is Eli and I have been at Goddard since May 2022. I graduated from Aurora High School and got this opportunity at Goddard through an internship at the end of my senior year. I love being a Resource Teacher here because it allows me to get to know all of the children! I enjoy going for walks and spending time with my friends and family. I have a lot of nieces and nephews, so helping to teach and guide children has always been something that I love to do!

My name is Abby and I've been a Resource Teacher at Goddard since May 2022. I am currently a student at Kent State University, majoring in Special Education. I am also a Goddard Twinsburg alumni, class of 2009! In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing with my dog, Gracie, and listening to music. I can't wait to get to know all of the kids!

My name is Ms. Barbara and I have been working at Goddard since August 2022. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, both from Kent State University, and a Reading Endorsement/Reading Specialist Certification from Cleveland State University. In my free time, I like spending time with my family, especially my twin grandchildren. We enjoy baking together and spending time outside!

My name is Ms. Lina and I have been at Goddard since March 2023. I am from Ukraine and graduated from The University of Ukraine with a degree in Enterprise Economics and Marketing. I worked for one year at the Montessori Early Development School in Ukraine. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my sons, Max and Rinat. I love cooking, baking, and sports, especially tennis and have been playing for many years. I love children very much and I'm glad to be on the school team at Goddard. I'm so excited to have your child in my care and I look forward to helping them learn and grow!

My name is Kearra and I started at Goddard in May 2024! I am currently attending Kent State University. I've been a babysitter since 2021. For fun, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family and friends. I am also currently training for a half marathon! I love working with children and I am super excited for this opportunity!
