    Welcome, we are Paula and Bob Janmey, proud owners of the Goddard School in North Ridgeville. As parents ourselves, we recognize how important it is for families to have a safe and nurturing learning environment for their children. Our daughters attended a local Goddard School from the time they were infants through Pre-K. This experience inspired us to pursue the ownership of our own school several years later. Paula, who is at the school daily, received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida, and her Master of Science degree in Positive Organizational Development and Change from Case Western Reserve University. Paula enjoys reading, going for walks in the neighborhood and keeping up with their daughters in their college studies. Thank you for the opportunity to share this wonderful time in your family's life!

    Ms. Sarah received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education with a Reading Endorsement from Ashland University in 2010. She joined the Goddard School in 2014 - before we even opened our doors! Ms. Sarah has worked in a childcare setting since 2007. She began as a Pre K teacher here at Goddard, was promoted to Assistant Director in 2015 and then to Director in 2018! She decided that she wanted to be an educator when she was in preschool. She also loves nature, camping, and walking in the Metroparks. She lives in North Ridgeville with her husband, son, daughter and cats. Ms. Sarah’s favorite book is A Balloon for Isabel, because it teaches about acceptance and overcoming differences.

    Ms. Kayla comes to the Goddard School in North Ridgeville with over 10 years of experience in childcare as a nanny, babysitter, and teacher. She graduated from Liberty University. Ms. Kayla enjoys creating a fun atmosphere for children to learn and grow, while feeling celebrated and loved. Her favorite thing about teaching is the smile of pride and excitement on a child’s face when they accomplish something they could not do yesterday. In her free time, Ms. Kayla loves to spend time with her daughter and read. Ms. Kayla's favorite children's book is “Groovy Joe: Dinosaurs and Ice Cream” by Eric Litwin and "Where the Sidewalk Ends" by Shel Silverstein.

    Ms. Morgan comes to the Goddard School with experience working with children and teaching in early childhood since 2003. Ms. Morgan received her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with a Reading Endorsement from Ashland University. She loves to watch each child reach his/her potential and grow confidence throughout the school year. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and going to the movies. Ms. Morgan's favorite children's book is "A Bad Case of Stripes" by David Shannon.

    Assistant Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
    Ms. Carrie has had the honor of working with children for over 10 years with the city of North Ridgeville and Shepherd of the Ridge. Carrie has been an assistant for classrooms ranging from ages 3 to 5. She has lived in North Ridgeville for 15 years with her husband and three sons, while enjoying physical fitness, reading, and the outdoors. Ms. Carrie's favorite children's book is "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein.

    Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
    Ms. Ally earned her Associate of Arts degree from Lorain County Community College in 2021. She has been a teacher for seven years, including four years with the Goddard School, where she previously taught at another location. Ms. Ally is passionate about creating a fun, engaging, and nurturing environment where young learners can thrive. Her favorite children’s book series is How to Catch a... by Alice Walstead and Andy Elkerton. She loves how each story combines humor, creativity, and imagination to spark curiosity in children. Ms. Ally is thrilled to be a part of the Goddard family and looks forward to helping each child grow and succeed!

    Assistant PreKindergarten Teacher
    Ms Michelle was born and raised in North Ridgeville. She has 4 grown kids and spent 17 years living in Houston, Texas. She comes with several years of childcare experience. Ms. Michelle is completing her Education and Sociology Degree at Kent State University. She is excited for all the engaging and learning opportunities with the smiling faces at the Goddard School. Ms. Michelle's favorite children's book is "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein.

    Lead Preschool Teacher
    Ms. Heidi comes to the Goddard School in North Ridgeville with experience working with children and teaching preschool since 1992. Ms. Heidi received her Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Lorain County Community College. Ms. Heidi loves the excitement and energy children bring to the preschool classroom. Ms. Heidi lives in Avon where she raised her two sons. She enjoys cooking, camping, gardening and taking bike rides. Ms. Heidi's favorite children's book is "Goodnight Moon"

    Ms Lauren comes to Goddard with a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art. She loves how creative and fun the Goddard’s environment is. Previously working as a lead teacher at a different center she is familiar with the busy and exciting pace of preschool learning. Lauren has three cats and threes snakes. In her free time Lauren loves to paint, read and cook new recipes. She can’t wait to get to know the children and their families of Goddard School!

    Ms. Naudia graduated high school in 2021. Ms. Naudia’s experience with children comes from being the oldest of five. Her siblings have given her a lot of experience in caring for children. Ms. Naudia loves the happiness and creativity that children bring. In her free time she loves to draw, spend time with her loved ones, and cuddle with her cats. Ms. Naudia's favorite children book is The Cat and The Hat by Dr. Seuss.

    Ms. Autumn is so excited to be at Goddard! She is extremely family oriented and loves spending time at home with her family. She has a daughter, Louise, who also goes to Goddard! Ms. Autumn’s favorite things about teaching young children is being able to be apart of their learning experience. She believes school should be a fun, exciting, and social place where kids can thrive and expand their minds and their social skills. Ms. Autumn’s favorite childhood book was Elmer by David McKee because it teaches you that your differences are what makes you unique and you should never try to hide what makes you special.

    Ms. Megan come to the Goddard School with 7 years of experience teaching preschool in South Carolina. Megan obtained her degree in science for occupational health and safety. Her favorite thing about working in childcare is seeing the love young children have for learning about the world around them. Megan lives in North Ridgeville with her husband, three children, and their cat and dog. In her free time, she loves enjoying outdoor activities and cooking. Her favorite children's book is "Chrysanthemum" by Kevin Henkes because it teaches children about acceptance.

    Ms. Cherie comes to The Goddard School from a small childcare center that she worked at for three and a half years . She has her infant toddler CDA that she received in 2023. She is originally from Cleveland and now lives in Elyria since 2019. She is a mother of a ten year old daughter who is her main reason for being in child care. While working in child care she has discovered she loves working with toddlers! They are always so fun and creative. Ms Cherie's favorite thing about The Goddard School is how the curriculum is for all children no matter their age!

    Ms. Jenny comes to the Goddard School in North Ridgeville after many years spent raising her own three children as well as providing care for children in her home ranging in ages from 10 weeks to five years old. Ms. Jenny received her Bachelors of Science degree in both Elementary Education and Secondary English Education from Bowling Green State University. Ms. Jenny loves to work with young children because of their enthusiasm for new experiences, and looks forward to working with a new group of children whom she hopes to inspire with her love of reading. Her favorite children’s book is "The Adventures of Max the Minnow" by William Boniface because of its encouraging message to be one’s best self

    • Ms. Antuanette comes to Goddard as a dedicated mom of two daughters, aged 10 and 13. She have a deep passion for nurturing and guiding children. Her personal experience as a mother, combined with my heartfelt enthusiasm, drives her to create positive and supportive environments where kids can thrive, learn, and grow. Outside of work, Antuanette enjoys spending quality time with her daughters, cooking, going to the movies, and being outdoors with their dog. She’s excited to build strong relationships with all the children she works with and help them flourish every day.

    Ms. Tirsa has her four year degree in Translation/Interpretation and a passion for kids. Tirsa has had experience in developing curriculum as well as carrying out existing ones. She has taught Kindergarten and loves bringing excitement to learning. She comes from El Salvador where she was born and raised and has resided here since 2018. Tirsa looks forward to working with the families and children at Goddard! Ms. Tirsa's favorite children's book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

    Ms. Nicole comes to the Goddard school with 6 years’ experience being an educator. She is currently enrolled at Western Governors University for a bachelor’s degree in education. Ms. Nicole loves doing crafts and being outdoors. She lives in Sheffield Lake with her husband and her 2 children. Ms. Nicole’s favorite children’s book is “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle.

    Ms. April has volunteered and worked with children since 2016. Prior to joining the Goddard family, she Graduated with her Associate of Arts degree from Lorain County Community College, with plans to further her education. Ms. April loves working with infants, and watching them grow and seeing all of their little personalities develop. Ms. April lives in North Ridgeville with her mom and brother and three dogs. She loves singing, art, cooking/baking and reading. Ms. April’s favorite children’s book is Skin Like Mine by Latashia M. Perry.

    Hello, I'm Ms. Asia! I have previously worked in childcare for five years. I have always loved working with children. I attended college and got my certification in medical billing and coding. Although I pursued a career in the health field, I have always loved working with children. I love their enthusiasm and the smiles on their faces when they enjoy doing an activity or learning something new, it brings me joy. I live in Elyria with my two children, whom I adore. In my free time I enjoy reading, spending time with family and going on nature walks. My favorite children’s books were the Junie B Jones series.

    Hi! I’m Miss Victoria, this is my first year here. I am a resource teacher, so I spend a lot of time in different classrooms and I’m so excited to be here! I’m doing online school while working full time at The Goddard School. I’m the oldest of 4 siblings and have 3 dogs and 2 cats! I enjoy going on runs and walking. My favorite children's book would have to be all the Dr. Seuss books.

    Ms Holly has been working in childcare since 2018. She's graduated from Lorain County Community College with an Associates of Arts with a focus in Early Childhood Education. She started her experience working with children by babysitting at Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and for family friends. She started off in childcare as a before and after school teacher, to a kindergarten teacher assistant, to a Pre-K 2 teacher. In her free time, she loves to volunteer at Toy for Tots!! She has volunteered there for 13 years. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her boyfriend. Ms Holly's favorite books are "The Rainbow Fish" and "If you Give a Moose a Muffin! "

    Ms Elana comes to the Goddard School with her Associates of Arts. She is currently pursuing her Early Childhood Education Degree and has experience working with children from her Bible study group. She is excited to join our team and get experience in the field of ECE.
  • Ms Lindsey
    Ms Lindsey
    Resource Teacher
    Ms. Lindsey comes to the Goddard School in North Ridgeville after working in childcare since 2022. Ms. Lindsey is currently going to Lorain County Community College for Early Childhood Education. She grew up living with a big family, so she is very family oriented and loves spending time with her loved ones. She has lived in Sheffield Village her whole life and graduated from Brookside High School in 2023! She enjoys being outdoors, traveling and baking. She is so excited to be a part of the Goddard family and can’t wait to see where it takes her!

    Ms. Kiana graduated from Saint Joseph Academy in 2024. She is currently attending Cuyahoga Community College for Early Childhood Education. Ms. Kiana has experience working with children from nannying and babysitting since she was 17 years old. She looks forward to getting some experience in the field and getting to know all the families.
