    Kerra

    On-Site Owner
    Kerra Spaeth is our On-Site Co-Owner. She started her career at The Goddard School; as a floating teacher in 1996 as she was finishing her Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations. Rather than leave the Goddard family after she finished her degree, Kerra became the Lead Teacher in our School-Age classroom. Her background includes eighteen years of experience in the childcare field and just couldn't leave it. She has seen so many children develop from toddlers into young ladies and gentlemen and is happy that she chose to stay and watch children grow. As a result of her choice to change career paths, Kerra decided to take classes in Early Childhood Education and is currently certified in CPR, First Aid, Communicable Diseases and Child Abuse. Kerra's parents, Ron and Paula Herman, have owned this school since January 2, 1996 and handed the reins to her in January of 2006. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her husband and three children.

    Director of Operations
    Ms. Jess has been working with children since 2009. She graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Health Education. Jess was a lead teacher at the Goddard School in our School-Age classroom and then took some time off to be with her family. She has since returned and has taken on the new role as the Director of Operations. Before obtaining this position Ms. Jess completed a 9-month program with National Louis University and obtained her National Director Credential. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running and reading.

    Gabrielle

    Curriculum Coordinator
    Ms. Gabbi has worked with children since she was 14 years of age at her church daycare. She has completed one semester of Early Childhood Development and has received her CDA. Ms. Gabbi has also worked with children of ages and different disabilities. When Ms. Gabbi isn’t working at Goddard, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching her daughter learn and grow. She enjoys taking trips to the zoo and the aquarium. Her hobbies include arts, crafts, and scrapbooking.

    Lead Teacher: Young Infant Classroom
    Ms. Kassie graduated from Franklin County High School in Brookville, Indiana. She has been working in childcare for almost 2 years with children 12-24 months of age. When Ms. Kassie isn't at Goddard she likes to hang out with her family and friends and go on walks.

    Co-Lead: Young Infant Classroom
    Ms. Tiffany graduated from Lakota West High School in 2013. She has experience babysitting her two nieces and nephews for the past 10 years. She loves babies and is looking forward to starting her professional career in childcare here at Goddard! When Ms. Tiffany isn't at Goddard she enjoys playing video games with friends, playing the acoustic guitar and ukulele, watching Disney movies, cooking and spending time with her fiancé, Chris, and cat, Junior.

    Lead Teacher: Young Toddler Classroom
    Ms. Katie has had previous childcare experience working as a resource teacher and enjoys working with children of all ages, especially children 3 and up. In her free time, she enjoys doing anything artsy and being outside.

    Ms. Alayna is a high school graduate with 1 year of early childhood experience working with children ages 18-24 months. When Ms. Alayna isn't at Goddard she likes to read, catch up on shows she loves to watch and also spend lots of time with her family and friends.

    Lead Teacher: Twos Classroom
    Ms. Braxton is the oldest of 6 children in her family and took on a leadership role very early in her life. During a vocational period in high school, she was a teacher’s aide for 2nd and 3rd grade. At the age of 19 she decided to start her career in childcare and has loved every moment since. She primarily enjoys working with children 2 years of age and up. During her free time, she enjoys being outside or being inside cuddling her cat. She has a big family she enjoys spending her time with. They have their own campground that they get to enjoy all summer! She also enjoys playing softball in her free time!

    Lead Teacher: Bridge Classroom
    Ms. Tiffany has been with The Goddard School in Mason since January 2005. Tiffany has learned a wealth of information through the CDA program and earned a Child Development Associate (CDA) degree. Tiffany has thoroughly enjoys working with children for the past eleven years.

    Co-Lead Teacher: Bridge Classroom
    Ms. Sam graduated from Mason High School in 2017 and completed welding school. She went on to manage a pet store in Lebanon. After having her son in 2021 she began working at her son's childcare center and found her passion in teaching. She has been privately babysitting since 2016, but found herself absolutely loving toddlers! She has since taught toddler for the past two years. When she isn't at Goddard she enjoys taking her children to the park, pool, aquarium, zoo and on hikes. She has a 5-year-old English Pointer mix (dog) that they enjoy taking on walks. Her personal interests comprise of drawing, bird-watching, learning about nature/animals and teaching her children about nature. I also enjoy crafting and shopping!

    Lead Teacher: Young Preschool Classroom
    Ms. Megan graduated from Lebanon High School in 2009 and went to Warren County Career Center from 2007-2009 for Early Childhood Education. She has participated in internships and job shadowing opportunities with ages 6 weeks – 8 years of age. She was also a lead teacher in a classroom of 2.5-3-year olds for 2.5 years. When Ms. Megan isn’t at Goddard, she really likes to do crafts and be artistic. She enjoys coloring, drawing, painting and crocheting. She really enjoys spending time with her husband, dog and four cats!

    Ms. Becky has been at The Goddard School of Mason since August 2019.She has had a lot of experience with children babysitting.She currently pursuing her Child Development Associate (CDA) degree.

    Lead Teacher: Older Preschool Classroom
    Ms. Nibras has been with the Goddard School in Mason since October 2019. Ms. Nibras started her teaching career as an English teacher. She taught at a public school for 5 years and at a private school for 2 years. She has worked with children of many ages ranging from toddlers to teenagers. She has four kids of her own, the youngest is 5 and the oldest is 15.

    Lead Teacher: Older Preschool Classroom
    Ms. Yuri has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico. She also has her Master's Degree in Education from the Universidad Tecmilenio, Mexico. She has 11 years experience working in Education with students from 5-18 years of age. For 2 years of her career she spent 2 years working as an Intervention Specialist for middle and high school students. When Ms. Yuri isn't at Goddard she enjoys spending time with her family and watching soccer (FC Cincinnati) and football (Cincinnati Bengals). She enjoys cooking Mexican food for her family and playing with her daughter!

    Ms. Meagan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She has worked with all children ages for 4+ years. She has also volunteered with ages 5-12 years of age at her church’s vacation Bible school every summer.

    Lead Teacher: Pre-Kindergarten Classroom
    Mr. Ty attended Xavier University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a focus in Biology and Latin. In the past Mr. Ty has worked at a summer program where he helped students with math, science, Latin and mythology.

    Lead Teacher: Kindergarten Enrichment
    Ms. Amanda has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Child & Adolescent Development. She is completing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health with an emphasis in Child & Adolescent Development. She has worked with children from 6-months-old to 5-years-old for 10+ years. Ms. Amanda has 3 kids under the age of 5. When she isn’t at Goddard she enjoys hiking, playing at the park and doing movie nights with them! Fall is their favorite time of year, and she enjoys horror movies, haunted houses and carving pumpkins most about fall. The beach is her favorite vacation spot, and she hopes to one day live in the Carolinas.

    Private Kindergarten Teacher
    Ms. Ghada has been with The Goddard School in Mason since June 2015. Before Ms. Ghada was working at the Goddard School she also student taught in our private full day Kindergarten classroom. Ghada graduated from Ashford University with a Bachelor in Arts of Social Science with Magna Cum Laude honors. After getting her Bachelor Degree, Ms. Ghada went back to school and got her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University. Ms. Ghada has over 10 years of experience in the child care setting.

    Ms. Dee has looked after children in her family from newborn up to 15 years of age. It has been a dream of hers to work with children since she was a child. When Ms. Dee isn’t at Goddard she enjoys baking, hiking and swimming. Her favorite sports are football and softball. She loves the outdoors and being active!

    Resource Teacher
    Ms. Carol has been with The Goddard School in Mason since March 2005. She attended Indiana University at Ft. Wayne to pursue an Art and Education degree. She has additional college courses through Wycliffe School for World Missions. Prior to coming to The Goddard School, Ms. Carol was an in-home child care provider to several families, as well as a mom to four children of her own.

    Resource Teacher
    Ms. Aya has been a part of our Goddard family for a while! Her mother, Ms. Ghada, has been teaching with us since she graduated college and now Ms. Aya works here on her college breaks and once a week when she doesn’t have classes. She received her high school diploma and is currently studying Pre-Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati. Before working here, she babysat children that were 2-8 years of age. When Ms. Aya isn’t at Goddard she loves reading and hanging out with her family! She absolutely loves Harry Potter!

    Resource Teacer
    Ms. Kelsey has had multiple years experience babysitting children ages 1-12 years old. Along with babysitting experience, she has worked at festivals overseeing children that run booths, the playgrounds and activities they took part in! She is going into her 4th year of college at the University of Cincinnati, majoring in Middle Childhood Education. In her free time, Ms. Kelsey enjoys being outside, staying active, reading, spending time with her family and hanging out with her friends. She enjoys weekend getaway trips, or trying different restaurants or coffee shops with her friends. She also loves a good shopping trip and self-care days!

    Ms. Gabbie is in the process of obtaining her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has coached youth soccer for 3-4 years and has worked in childcare for 1-2 years. When Ms. Gabbie isn't at Goddard she enjoys reading, playing and coaching soccer and baking/learning to cook!

    Resource Teacher
    Mr. Mark has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Taylor University and has 1-2 years of childcare experience working with children in infancy through 18 years of age. When Mr. Mark isn't at Goddard he enjoys art, working out, soccer, rock climbing, traveling, cooking and baking. He spent 6 years of his childhood living in Mexico and is fluent in Spanish. He loves trying new things and sharing his experiences with others
