We started at Goddard during the pandemic and feel that Goddard has taken measures to safely provide care while also allowing little learners to explore and play.   • The Goddard School in Concord Township has been great to our children and family. The programs offered, genuine care, and recent response during the pandemic exceed all expectations. The faculty and business leaders keep parents informed appropriately, as well as offer transparency in their procees and decision making.   • I love that everyone is so friendly right when I walk in the door. First impressions are huge, and you guys do a great job! All of the staff has been so very welcoming to my daughter and I. I also love that I get pictures through out the day with a little description about what Nina is up to! It's very comforting to know that she is not only having fun, but loved in her own special way as well! My daughter looks forward to the days she is there! Thank so much for everything!!

Child Care Aware is the nation's most respected hub of information for parents and child care providers. A program of Child Care Aware of America, Child Care Aware helps families learn more about the elements of quality child care and how to locate programs in their communities. Child Care Aware also provides child care providers with access to resources for their child care programs.

STEP UP TO QUALITY - 5 STAR

Ohio's Step Up To Quality system is a voluntary quality rating system for ODJFS licensed childcare programs. It recognizes early care and education programs that exceed quality benchmarks over and above Ohio's licensing standards and makes it easy to find a great childcare and early learning program for your child. Step Up To Quality programs earn one to five stars – the more stars, the better. Each star signals a higher standard of staff qualifications, lower staff to child ratios and the use of assessment tools to plan individualized early learning activities.

P21 EXEMPLAR - PARTNERSHIP FOR 21ST CENTURY SKILLS: A NETWORK OF BATTELLE FOR KIDS

The mission of P21: A Network of Battelle for Kids (BFK) is to serve as a catalyst to position 21st century readiness at the center of American K-12 education by building collaborative partnerships among education, business, community and government leaders. P21, now a network of BFK, will continue to support a vision for learning to ensure 21st century readiness for every student. The Goddard School strives to provide the best possible learning environment, educational framework and professional development opportunities.

NAEYC ACCREDITED

National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredits early childhood programs according to health, safety and education standards. The standards are intended to provide a reliable and accountable accreditation system to encourage the field of early childhood education to strive for a new level of excellence.

This award recognizes the best local businesses in the area as voted by the community of Painesville.

OHIO HEALTHY KIDS CERTIFICATION

The project offers early care and education programs the opportunity to earn recognition as an Ohio Healthy Program. Steps toward this designation include: attending Ohio Approved professional development which uses the Healthy Children, Healthy Curriculum, implementing a wellness policy, improving menus and engaging families.
