We have been taking our children to Goddard since they were 6 months old and could not be happier. Our oldest just transitioned to Kindergarten and the move was seamless. I like the picture updates and the report at the end of the day to know what activities he did, how much and what he ate, diaper changes, etc. The staff is also very nice and call whenever they have concerns

The staff is wonderful in the infant room. The director is also very friendly and involved as she greets the kids by name every morning. We also like that they send pictures of the fun things the infants are doing throughout the day. We have loved it so far!

I like that the school is play-centered. Some centers seem overly concerned with measuring learning, creating progress reports, forcing classroom-based lessons, etc. We want our child to be able to learn through play and exploring, and I feel like he gets to do that at Goddard. I love the exposure to different activities like art, music, Spanish, sign-language, etc.

The Goddard School employs a strong sense of community among the children and their teachers. Having this sense of collegiality certainly eases the distress of having to leave your child(ren) and go off to work. The teachers listen compassionately and strive to create a warm, safe, and fun learning environment for everyone.

My 3-year-old son is having a hard adjustment, as he went from having a nanny his entire life to going to preschool. They knew exactly what to do! The teachers gave him puzzles to bring back, and had all of the kids chant his name when he arrived, and he walked right into class without looking back! It has been so great to see him grow!

We recommend The Goddard to everyone who asks. For a classroom project, our youngest recently finished the phrase, "I love Goddard because... I love my teachers!" The staff are excellent and open, the activities for students are wonderful (including the in-center field trips), and the center is clean and safe. Our oldest, who went to kindergarten last school year, was fully prepared for a successful start to elementary school! Thank you!
