Our Goddard School Teachers

Mark Anthony and Johann Hunter are the proud owners of The Goddard School of Saugus. As parents of a daughter and two sons, they understand the importance of providing children with a safe, nurturing, and enriching learning environment. Mark and Johann's passion for early childhood education grew through their involvement in her oldest son's educational development, inspiring their commitment to these critical foundational years. Together, Mark and Johann are dedicated to bringing Goddard's outstanding educational program to their communities. Their vision extends beyond the classroom: they strive to create a welcoming school community where families connect, share experiences, and learn from one another.

Miss Ali is an on-site operator at our school. She has a master’s degree in early childhood education. Miss Ali is lead teacher and director certified. She enjoys watching how much children learn and grow in such short periods of time. It is so amazing to see what these little minds are capable of! Miss Norah is the Director at our school. She has a B.S in Early Childhood Education and Administration as well as a certification in Preschool Education, Music, and Speech and Drama. Her favorite part of working in childcare is just seeing the pure joy in a child’s eye when they figure something new out for the first time. Miss Brittney is an Assistant Director at our school. She has an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and is lead teacher and director certified. She enjoys being able to shape the minds of little ones and giving them the tools to be successful socially, emotionally, and academically. Miss Maria is a teacher in the Infant classroom. She has a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Spanish. She graduated from Salem State University. Miss Maria is lead teacher and director certified. Miss Maria loves to watch children grow and hopes to make a huge impact in their learning. Miss Ari is a teacher in the Infant classroom. Miss Ari grew up with a large family and has always been around children, which inspired her to become a teacher. Miss Katie is a teacher in our infant classroom. Miss Katie chose to begin teaching after many years in a different career. She loves being part of a child's early learning experience and making a positive impact during such an important stage of their development. She loves watching them learn something new, whether it's a sound, a movement, or a connection. Miss Ashley is a teacher in our First Steps classroom. Her favorite thing about teaching is being able to build a bond with little ones and watching them learn and grow. Miss Kelsey is a teacher in the Kindergarten Prep classroom. She is preschool certified. Miss Kelsey thinks the best part about teaching is observing the children grow and develop throughout the school year. She finds it rewarding to see their accomplishments and academic development. Miss Lanitza joined our team in August 2026 as a Resource Teacher. Miss Lanitza believes that every child has the potential to be a star. With the right support and encouragement, she hopes to help children shine and become the best versions of themselves. Her favorite part of teaching is having the opportunity to be someone’s safe place. She loves knowing that the children she supports trust her and values the special teacher-child relationships she builds along the way. When it comes to children’s books, Miss Lanitza enjoys the Junie B. Jones series as well as The Very Hungry Caterpillar. As she continues to grow her own education and experience, Miss Lanitza hopes to expand her students’ knowledge of the world around them while creating an environment where everyone can learn and grow from one another.

Miss Amanda is a teacher in the Toddlers, Too classroom and the curriculum coordinator for the infant/toddlers classrooms. She has an associate degree in Early Childhood Education from North Shore Community College, a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Salem State University and she is lead teacher and director certified. Miss Amanda’s favorite thing about teaching is seeing a child master a skill that they have been working on. She loves to watch the children grow and learn. Knowing that you have helped them is such a rewarding feeling! Miss Lily is a teacher in our Toddlers, Too classroom. She has always loved working with children, but seeing the impact she has on their lives is what truly inspired her to become a teacher. She wants to be someone they can remember and know they can always count on. She loves building relationships with children and making a positive impact on their lives - there is no better feeling. Miss Marissa is a teacher in our Get Set classroom. Miss Marissa began her ealy childhood career by babysitting. She realized how happy she was watching those children grown and knew this is the field she wanted to be in. Her favorite thing about teaching is seeing the growth and independence each child learns. Miss Melanie is a certified teacher in our Preschool Classroom. Her passion for teaching began in high school and came naturally. Her favorite part about teaching is being able to witness the joy in a child's face when they learn something new. Miss Gianna is an Assistant Teacher at our school. Her passion for working with children began through volunteering as a camp counselor and with junior athletics clubs, where she discovered how rewarding it is to support and encourage young learners. Her favorite part of teaching is helping children work toward their goals and watching their excitement when they finally achieve them. She loves being able to celebrate those special moments and be part of each child’s growth and success. Miss Lisandra is currently a teacher in our Preschool 2 classroom. She was inspired to begin teaching because she knows that she can make a difference in a child's life and help them build a strong future. Her favorite thing about teaching is seeing the different perspectives in different children and how they interact with each other. Miss Alma is a teacher in our Pre-K classroom. She was inspired to begin teaching by her father who was a high school mechanic instructor. Her favorite part of teaching is to reconnect with her own sense of wonder, play, and curiosity through the eye of the children. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time traveling to visit family in Europe, gardening, yoga, and music. Miss Sindi joined our team in August 2026 as a Teacher’s Aide. Miss Sindi was inspired to become a teacher by watching her daughter grow and discover the world. She hopes to create a classroom environment where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing a child proudly show what they’ve learned. She loves those special moments when children recognize their own accomplishments and feel proud of themselves! One of Miss Sindi’s favorite authors is A. A. Milne, the beloved author of Winnie-the-Pooh.

Miss Nicole is a certified floating teacher. She has an associate degree in Early Childhood Education. Miss Nicole’s favorite thing about teaching is watching the students learn and grow, along with laughing and playing. Miss Marisol is an Assistant Teacher at our school. She was inspired to become a teacher because of her desire to help others and make a positive difference in the lives of children. Her favorite part of teaching is building meaningful, trusting connections with the children and creating an environment where they feel safe, supported, and valued. She especially enjoys hearing the funny and creative ideas children come up with and loves seeing the world through their unique perspectives. Miss Hasna is a Lead Teacher in our Preschool 1 classroom. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Arabic Literature and a Certificate of Completion in Early Education and Care. The best thing abut teaching for Miss Hasna is making a big difference in the lives of her students. She believes it is amazing to build relationships with students and seeing how much they can grow and change over the course of a school year. Miss Andrea is a resource teacher at our school. She wanted to become a teacher because she loves working with children and wanted to be a special part of their childhood. She loves being able to create fun experiences, make memories, and be someone they can look up to. Her favorite part of teaching is watching children meet new milestones. She thinks it is so rewarding to see them learn something new, gain confidence, and grow a little more each day. She loves being able to celebrate those special moments with them. Miss Kelsey is a resource teacher. Something that inspires her each day is that, like a child, she loves to learn, create, and play and wants to share that curiosity of the world with the children around her. Miss Melina is a Resource Teacher. She was inspired to teach because she wants to help children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
