Nice and friendly staff. Teachers are educated in early childhood learning and seems to know how to approach individual needs of the kids. They have plenty of daily activities that helps the development of skills. Daily updates of my child’s progress are posted in the app with pictures, so the parents can track the development. We really like Goddard School at Decatur.

I personally love the attention and care my son’s Pre-kindergarten teacher shows for her students. She is so attentive to each student and wants the best for all of them. My son is always excited to go to school and cries when he cannot go on Saturday and Sunday

The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. They are always willing to answer my questions. My son participates in hands on learning, STEAM activities and small group learning. The facility is clean and organized which makes for a healthy and safe learning environment.

We love Goddard Decatur for the following reasons: Well-planned curriculum with the weekly themes and all daily learning activities built around the theme of the week. The variety in the learning approaches - writing, storytime, dance, exercise, art, music, etc. The high caliber of teaching staff. Our child has made exponential progress in their learning during the seven months we've been here. We notice she is further ahead than our friends' kids of the same age who do not attend this school.

I love the communication between teachers, administration, and families. My son is greeted by and knows several teachers, even outside of his own classroom. It's clear that the teachers truly care about the students and that everyone works as a team!

I think the school is well run, well designed and cultivates a professional, yet familial environment. My daughter likes her friends, loves her teachers and learns a lot in the areas of science and technology. She also has the opportunity to express herself through song, dance and other art forms.

The teachers and staff are very friendly and really get to know the kids. My daughter is always excited to go to school and is sometimes upset when we pick her up to early. They offer a variety of additional classes and often have events after school to bring families together.

The Goddard school has been the perfect fit for both of our kids. The learning environment was challenging, unique, and my kids thrived learning with the teachers and peers. The school and all classrooms are very clean and orderly. Lessons are organized and detailed. I love getting a report at the end of each day with details of what my child has done during the school day. The pictures are a bonus!

The teachers are great and treat my child as if she was theirs. They give her one on one interaction and affection. The most concerning part about finding the right school for my daughter was the thought of her not receiving enough attention and hugs like she would get at home. The teachers have been wonderful. I also enjoy the tadpole reports with pictures of her throughout the day.
