Her pride in serving the children and families in the surrounding communities since 2006 shows her dedication to the local area and her long-term commitment to providing quality education. Her leadership, grounded in both hands-on teaching experience and advanced educational qualifications, has likely been instrumental in creating a nurturing and educational environment at the school. His transition from a long career in law enforcement to working alongside his wife, Kim, at the school speaks to his commitment to their shared vision and mission for the school. By maintaining the facility, greeting families, and managing daily operations, Chris helps create a safe and welcoming environment for both the children and staff. His hands-on approach to supporting the school’s day-to-day functions shows a great balance between leadership and personal connection with the families. Her journey from Director to Director of Operations and now to becoming a partner highlights her dedication and leadership within the school community. Her State of Connecticut Head Teacher Certificate and Directors Credential add another layer of expertise, helping her guide both the educational side and the operational aspects of the school. It’s wonderful that she has been part of The Goddard School since 2005, shaping the foundation of the school and watching it grow. Ms. Sue’s leadership has impacted the overall direction and success of The Goddard School in Orange.

It’s clear that her passion for early childhood education is strong, especially since she’s been part of the Goddard Family since 2018. Her experience and positive attitude must make her a wonderful co-teacher alongside Ms. Joyce.

    Ms. Steffanie brings a wealth of experience to The Goddard School, with her background as a toddler, preschool, and infant teacher, as well as her time as a director. Her diverse roles and responsibilities, particularly in coordinating the infant/toddler classrooms, show her strong leadership and organizational skills. The fact that she assists with lesson plan development, training, and the daily operation of the building highlights her dedication to both the educational and logistical sides of running a successful program. With her associate's degree in early childhood education and years of experience, she must be a tremendous asset to the team.

It’s great that she’s excited to be working alongside Ms. Steffanie—collaborative teaching is such a valuable way to support both the children and each other.

Outside of her professional role, Miss Jocelyn enjoys spending quality time with her daughter, embracing the joys of family life. She has completed two years at Gateway Community College and brings several years of experience working with children at the toddler and preschool levels. Gateway Community College offers a comprehensive Early Learning Center (ELC) that provides a full-day preschool program for children aged 2.8 to 5 years old. The ELC emphasizes a child-centered curriculum, encouraging development at each child's own pace. It offers various instructional models, including Child Development, Modified Montessori, and Diversified Creative Curriculum. At The Goddard School, Ms. Kasey's dedication and experience contribute significantly to creating a nurturing and supportive environment for our students, fostering their growth and development.

    Mr. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Early Education, both from Southern Connecticut State University. Since 2015, he has been dedicated to working with pre-kindergarten children, bringing enthusiasm and a diverse range of activities to his classroom. He believes that each child offers a unique learning perspective, which continually challenges and inspires him in his teaching journey.

Patrick brings extensive experience from various healthcare settings, including pediatric and obstetric care, infertility clinics, rehabilitation, and home care. Beyond his professional role, Patrick enjoys spending time with his diverse family of animals, which includes dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and lizards. In addition to her role at Goddard, Miss Julieanne is pursuing a real estate license, demonstrating her commitment to personal and professional growth. In Connecticut, aspiring real estate professionals must complete 60 hours of classroom instruction and pass a final exam to be eligible for the state licensing exam. Her diverse interests and dedication enrich our school community, and we are excited to support her as she continues to develop both professionally and personally.

    Ms. Amanda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Western Connecticut State University. She has gained extensive experience working with children through various roles, including private nannying, babysitting, and, more recently, as a certified behavior technician/therapist. In her role as a Behavior Technician, Ms. Amanda has provided direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. At The Goddard School, Ms. Amanda serves as faculty support, offering a helping hand across multiple classrooms. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, engaging in activities such as cooking, reading, playing at the park, and singing. Ms. Amanda has been a valued member of The Goddard School since 2025.
