As Co-Owner of The Goddard School in Farmington, I feel truly honored to be surrounded each day by the laughter, curiosity, and vibrant personalities of young children. My academic background is in Human Development and Family Studies, and while my career began in corporate sales and operations management, those experiences have uniquely prepared me to lead with both heart and strategy. Creating a nurturing environment where children’s needs come first—and where every family feels welcomed and valued—is at the core of everything I do. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring the outdoors, attending fall fairs and festivals, and traveling. Welcome to The Goddard School family—we’re so glad you’re here!

The preschool years are a whirlwind of boundless energy filled with enthusiasm and endless curiosity! At The Goddard School, our teachers nurture, inspire, and encourage our children to grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. We strive to meet the needs of each student and help them to explore and grow beyond. It is our mission to foster a love for learning in each of our students. As an educator and Co-Owner of The Goddard School, this is an exciting opportunity for me as I join our families and faculty in providing the best possible early childhood environment filled with experiences that will help shape our young children for a bright, successful future in school and in life! On a personal note, my husband, Michael, and I are parents to Wyatt, Quinn and Stetson, all Goddard Graduates! I am committed to providing strong leadership and support for all of our teachers as well as a fun, loving, and safe “home away from home” for your children!

My name is Miss Courtney and I am a Co-Director here at The Goddard School. I have worked in the Early Childhood field since 2000 and have held a Director position since 2010. I hold a bachelor’s in business management, however, have taken many courses in the ECE field to support my passion. I am so excited to be a part of the Goddard Family. I love to support the faculty and families any way I can so we can continue together to maintain a high-quality program that ensures individual child support while offering challenging and engaging curriculum. In my free time, you will find me with my husband, four children and two dogs. When I’m not supporting one of my children’s extracurricular activities, you can find me taking walks, going to the movies or hanging out by our pool. I love children’s literature, but one of my favorite stories is 'Today I feel Happy' by Jamie Lee-Curtis. It is a great story about self-identifying emotions and allowing ourselves to be in the moment.

My name is Miss Alyssa, and I am proud to serve as Co-Director here at The Goddard School. I have been part of the Goddard family since 2017 and have had the joy of working with children of all ages across various classrooms. I began my journey in the toddler classroom, transitioned to preschool, then Pre-K, and I’m now thrilled to support our school community from the office! I hold a career diploma in Business Management, and I am also a proud Goddard parent—my son, Holland, attends our school. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and going shopping. My favorite children’s books are Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr.—classics that bring so much joy and learning to little ones.

My name is Miss Denise, and I’m a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School. I’ve been part of the Goddard family since 2014 and love encouraging children to explore their world and discover their own love of learning. I believe in helping each child grow through play, and I’m inspired daily by the energy and excitement young children bring into the classroom. I hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and a Head Teacher Certificate for the State of Connecticut. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, running, mountain biking, and singing at my local church. My favorite children’s book is Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.

My name is Miss Kaila, and I’m proud to be a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School. With over 8 years of hands-on experience nurturing young minds, three years as a paraeducator in an elementary school and five years as a dedicated nanny, I bring a deep passion for early childhood education to my classroom every day. I chose The Goddard School because of its inspiring commitment to making learning a joyful and meaningful experience. I believe that when children are having fun, they’re truly thriving—and that’s exactly the kind of environment I strive to create. Outside of the classroom, I cherish every moment spent with my son. Whether we’re hitting the road for a spontaneous adventure, exploring the outdoors, diving into a good book, or enjoying cozy movie nights, our time together is filled with laughter and love. My name is Miss Mary, and I’m a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School. I’ve been working with children since 2010, supporting their growth and development throughout their ages. Every day spent with children brings joy and inspiration, and I feel truly fortunate to be part of their learning journey. I hold a degree in Primary Education from Honduras, and I chose to join The Goddard School because of its heartfelt commitment to nurturing and educating children. The warmth and care shown here are evident in everything we do, and I’m proud to be part of such a passionate team. In my free time, I enjoy reading and listening to music, activities that help me relax and recharge. My favorite children’s books is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, a beautiful story celebrating imagination, kindness, and wonder.

My name is Miss Diamond, and I’m a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School. I’ve been working with infants & toddlers since 2017 and am currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education program to further deepen my knowledge and skills. I chose The Goddard School because I believe in nurturing a lifelong love of learning through play. Young children have incredible imaginations and an amazing capacity to learn, and I’m honored to be part of their developmental journey. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, shopping, and discovering new foods and restaurants. I also love expressing myself through painting, reading, and writing. One of my favorite children’s books is Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? by Eric Carle—a timeless classic that sparks curiosity and joy in young readers.

My name is Miss Tanya, I’m a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School. I’ve had the joy of working in ECE, watching children grow, learn, and thrive for many years. I chose to work at The Goddard School because of the incredible team, professional, intelligent, respectful, and fun! Surrounding myself with passionate educators makes every day fulfilling. I’m deeply passionate about supporting young learners and find great reward in witnessing their milestones. Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my grandchildren. Beach trips, traveling, and even the occasional fishing adventure with my husband are some of my favorite ways to unwind. My favorite children’s books is Corduroy by Don Freeman—a heartwarming story that celebrates friendship and belonging.

My name is Miss Malia, and I’m a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School. I’ve been working with children since 2023 and absolutely love being part of their early learning journey. I chose to work at The Goddard School because it allows me to fulfill my dream of teaching young children in a nurturing and playful environment. Watching their curiosity grow and their personalities shine is truly rewarding. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my loved ones—including my dog, Chomper! I also love playing video games and board games, which keep things fun and interactive. My name is Miss Ashley, and I’m a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School. I’ve worked with children for the past seven years as a preschool teacher and nanny. I chose The Goddard School for its outstanding reputation, positive energy, and engaging environment. Teaching is truly rewarding—I love helping children learn and grow every day. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy crafting, reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. My favorite children’s books are Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown and The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister, both of which share beautiful messages that inspire young minds.

My name is Miss Shantea and I am a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School. I’ve been working in childcare since 2015. I was a preschool teacher for 2 of those years and spent lots of time with the infants and toddlers as well. I chose to work at The Goddard School because I believe in their philosophy in positive reinforcements and purposeful play. In my free time, I enjoy spending it with my family and pets. I also enjoy cooking and crafting! My favorite children’s books are Dr. Seuss’ “Oh the Places You’ll Go’ and ‘Hop on Pop’.

My name is Miss Bruna, and I’m a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School. I’ve been working in ECE field since 2024, but my passion for child development truly began in 2022 when I became a mother. That experience sparked a deep love for nurturing young minds and inspired me to grow both as a caregiver and an educator. I chose to work at The Goddard School because I value a supportive, growth-oriented environment, one that encourages both professional development and meaningful connections with children. In my free time, I enjoy organizing, spending time with my family, playing with my son, and crocheting. One of my favorite children’s books is Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day—a relatable and humorous story that helps children navigate emotions and challenges with resilience.

My name is Miss Crystal and I am a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Bachelor's in English Literature, and I've been an educator for over 12 years. I chose to work at The Goddard School because I fell in love with the classrooms and the school’s commitment to encouraging both teachers and students to explore their creative potential through intrigue, wonder, and curiosity. I especially enjoy working with preschoolers because of their expressiveness and imagination. Outside of the classroom, I’m a writer and a professional watercolor artist. I'm currently preparing for my second solo art exhibition and working on a preschool storybook I hope to publish—my second one! My favorite children’s book is The Magic Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton.

My name is Miss Jaidalee and I am a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School. I have been working with children since 2019, including my previous role as a paraeducator in a preschool setting. I chose to join The Goddard School because of its welcoming and inclusive environment, which aligns with my passion for early childhood education. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and boyfriend, reading, and playing pickleball. My favorite children’s book is A Bad Case of Stripes by David Shannon, which has vibrant illustrations and meaningful message.

My name is Miss Darlissa and I am a Resource Teacher at The Goddard School. I have prior experience working in preschools during the summer months and completed a two-year internship at an elementary school. I love working with children of all ages and is passionate about supporting their growth and development. The Goddard School was a perfect choice for me because it allows me to make a meaningful impact in such a nurturing environment. My name is Miss Jazmyn and I am a Resource Teacher at The Goddard School. I'm currently pursuing a degree in Social Work and have prior experience babysitting and working at a summer camp with preschoolers. Working with young children brings me happiness—I love being part of their growth and development. After college, I plan to become a social worker, and working at The Goddard School gives me valuable experiences that support that goal. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, coaching a softball team, listening to music, and relaxing. My name is Miss Nina and I am an Office Assistant at The Goddard School. I have been working children in an early childhood education setting since 2023 and including teaching art workshops for children's birthday parties. I found it so rewarding to watch the little ones learn and create their own projects. I chose to work at The Goddard School because I believe learning through play is so important for a child's development and I wanted to work in a school where the curriculum supports that! In my free time I enjoy hiking, shopping, photography, jewelry making and spending time with my friends, family and pets. My name is Miss Jocelyn and I am a Resource Teacher at The Goddard School. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and have been working with children since 2018 in various roles, including preschool teaching, babysitting, gym childcare programs, and before and after school programs. I chose to work at Goddard because I love the learn-through-play philosophy and the friendly, open environment. Working with children brings me joy—I admire their curious approach to exploring the world and learning new things. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing games, coloring, and creating art. My name is Miss Linoshka and I am a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School. I hold an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and have been working with children since 2016. I chose to work at The Goddard School because of its commitment to professional growth and excellence in early childhood education. I love working with young children because of their energy, curiosity, and the joy they bring to learning each day. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and experimenting with new recipes. My name is Miss Jazmariah and I am an Assistant Teacher at The Goddard School. I have been working with preschoolers in a classroom setting since 2024. I chose to work with toddlers and preschoolers because I love watching their unique personalities flourish, and I knew The Goddard School was the perfect place to support that growth. I am currently attending college to earn my degree in Social Work and have been working with toddlers and preschoolers since 2022. I chose The Goddard School because I saw a place dedicated to caring for and nurturing children of all ages, and I knew it would be a wonderful fit for my daughter as well! I love working with young children and being part of their growth and learning journey. In my free time, I enjoy watching TV and playing with my daughter. My name is Miss Bridgieth and I am a Resource Teacher at The Goddard School. I’ve been working with children since 2008, and I truly love what I do. I chose to work at Goddard because of the warm environment, consistent routines, and the incredible support we receive as teachers. Helping children learn and grow brings me so much joy. In my personal time, I love being at home by myself—it gives me the chance to clean, organize, and enjoy some quiet moments. I have worked with toddlers and preschoolers in a preschool setting since 2022 and was a nanny for four years prior to that. I chose The Goddard School because its philosophy aligns with my core values and beliefs about nurturing infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. I especially enjoy working with infants because I love being part of their developmental journey and watching them grow each day. My name is Miss Natalia and I am a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School. I hold an Associate’s degree and am currently finishing my degree in Psychology. I have been working in early childhood education since 2021, and I absolutely love it because it allows me to be my most authentic self. I chose The Goddard School because of its amazing reputation and commitment to quality care and education. I enjoy working with toddlers because I believe they are the best age group to observe as they learn and grow—it’s such an exciting stage of development! My name is Miss Bonnie and I am a Resource Teacher at The Goddard School. I’m currently working toward my degree in Early Childhood Education and have four years of experience, specifically in special education. I chose Goddard because it’s the gold standard in early childhood learning. I love working with toddlers and watching them grow and discover the world around them. In my free time, I enjoy baking, crocheting, gardening, and canning. I also love spending time with my three cats. My name is Miss Jazlynn and I am a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School. I’ve been working with children since 2021 in a variety of settings, including childcare, substitute teaching, after-school programs, and summer camps. I chose to work at Goddard because I know it will support my professional growth and provide valuable experience. Working with preschoolers keeps me motivated and energized—I love watching them learn, develop new skills, and grow each day. My name is Miss Sharon and I am a Lead Teacher at The Goddard School. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and have been working with children since 2015, including in public and independent schools since 2021. I chose to work with preschoolers because their minds are growing so rapidly—it's a unique opportunity to help shape not only their understanding of the world but also who they become as people: kind, curious, and brave. In my free time, I enjoy watching TV shows, baking, walking, exploring new cafes and coffee shops, and spending time with my friends, family, and dogs.
