Our Teachers

Kumud and her family are excited to provide The Goddard School’s outstanding program to the children and families of our community. Their vision to own a Goddard School started with the experience of their 2 older children attending Goddard schools. The Goddard school has established itself as a premier institution nationwide with strong emphasis on providing a safe and nurturing environment for learning. Since taking the ownership of the School in 2019, Kumud has passionately worked with parents and staff by taking their feedback on increasing capabilities and resources for the school so everyone is getting the support they need. Kumud has her Masters in Business Administration from Boston University. She has worked in the corporate world of Finance for over 15 years and is currently taking Early Childhood Education courses to continually learn and feed her passion in this field.

Ms. Cheryl has been a part of the school since 2014. She has her Bachelor Degree from UCCS in Inclusive Early Childhood Education and holds a Director license through the state of Colorado. She currently works as an Administrative Director at the school. She enjoys spending time with family, listening to music and reading in her free-time.

Hello there! My name is Ms. Allie and I am the Office Manager! I have been with The Goddard School for over two years now and it has been the experience of a lifetime! I have my Bachelor's degree in sociology and have been in College since 16 years old. I am a born and raised Texan and moved to Colorado Springs three years ago now. Although this is my first childhood education job, I have experience with my family members and watching my mom as a director. When I'm not working you can usually find me watching movies/tv, playing video games, hiking, or painting!

My name is Samantha but you can call me Ms. Sam! I have been with The Goddard School for over 3 years now and my students mean the world to me. I moved to Colorado Springs over two years ago but, I was born and raised in Arizona! I have my associates in Early Childhood Education and I've done various volunteer work for an after school program. I really started teaching to make a difference in young minds as well as to watch my students learn and grow! I am married to an incredible husband and we have an adorable Australian Shepard puppy! When I'm not working I love to read, take hikes, and crochet.

My name is Mickaela and I am one of the Infant teachers! I have been working in early childhood education for about four years now and it's been a blast. I graduated from Colorado State University with my Bachelor's degree in human development and family studies. I began teaching to pursue my passion in supporting children as they grow. in my free time, I enjoy paddleboarding and hiking with my sweet dog Bella!

Hi My name is Michelle Johnson. I am an Early Childhood teacher for Marvelous Monkeys. I have worked in ECE for over 20 years. I am a Level 3 in PDIS and I received my CDA. I have Pyramid Plus and Expanded Quality Infant Toddler Care. My teacher philosophy is that every child should be in a safe, loving and developmentally appropriate environment at all times. My hobbies are swimming, walking, and shopping. I enjoy working at THE GODDARD SCHOOL

Hi, My name is Abbey Sandoz! I am from McHenry Illinois. I moved to Colorado Springs with my fiancé in 2022. I have worked with young children since I was 16 years old. I have been with THE GODDARD SCHOOL since 2019. I earned by Child Development Associated degree in October 2020. I love working with Toddlers and sharing their high energy! I am trained in pediatric CPR and First Aid. When not at work, I love spending time with my fiancé exploring new places, hanging out with my dogs, waiting for the Fall Season (my favorite) and eating anything pasta related.

Ms. Rachael has been a part of The Goddard School since 2021. She has been working with Toddlers for over 17 years. She has been a part of The Goddard school since 2018. Her son used to attend The Goddard School since he was a toddler but he has since then graduated into K-12! She believes each child has a unique way of learning and teachers should teach based on that philosophy. In her spare time she likes hiking, taking walks with her son, and being outdoors.

Hello, my name is Ms. Shannon and I am the Pre-K A teacher! I am currently enrolled in an associates of arts program at Pikes Peak State College, and I plan to be adding some early childhood education classes to my resume come fall. Most of my experience comes from working with children aged 6 months- 12 years as a gymnastics coach, so I love to incorporate some fun stretches and exercises into the classroom. My favorite hobby is probably reading, but I also am an avid hiker who loves camping & cooking outdoors with my partner Max. I started teaching because working with small children is so much fun! It also creates a unique opportunity for me to share my positive outlook on life and energetic spirit with others.

Hi I'm Mr. Geoffrey and I am the Pre-K B teacher! I am also a children's book author and illustrator that majored in education at the University of Northern Colorado. I have taught preschool and elementary school for a total of 6 years. I have also previously worked with special needs children in their homes & I was also a long-term nanny. I love to play modern board games, draw, hike, and taking my children on adventures! I am a nurturer in my heart whether I am taking care of plants, pets, elderly, or my students I always feel like I'm performing my purpose on Earth.

Hi, My name is Rohini and I am a teacher in the Pre-K classroom. I have a masters degree in computer application and have been teaching children since 2018. I recently completed my ECT qualifications to teach preschool classroom. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with kids. My hobbies are traveling, cooking, and gardening. I love spending time with my family and two kids.
