Ashish, Owner Ashish Gupta is the proud owner of The Goddard School of Katy (Ranch Point and Cinco North-West locations). He holds a Computer Engineering degree and over 27 years of cross-functional business management and technical experience.

Ashish has served on the board of ISACA and is involved with GHP, IACCGH, TIE, HTC. He is also a member of Fulshear Chamber of Commerce, Friendswood Chamber of Commerce, Pearland Chamber of Commerce and Katy Chamber of Commerce.

He is our onsite owner who is passionate about childhood education.

Janet, Director Meet Mrs. Janet Fahy, our Educational Director. Mrs. Fahy is very happy to be back at The Goddard School of Katy. She is eager to see old friends and make new friends. She has more than 10 years of childcare experience.

She has been a Teacher, After-School Director, After-School Site Coordinator, and Educational Specialist. Her favorite opportunity was Educational Specialist. She simply loves watching children learn while having fun! This is her passion.

She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education. She attained her Director’s License in Childcare in 2013. She is an active member of The National Association for the Education of Young Children.

She is married to her husband, Charlie. They have three grown children and one grandson. They also have one rescue dog, named Atlas. She looks forward to the privilege and fun of being a part of your child’s life.

Ruby, Director Meet our Operational Director, Ms. Ruby! Ms. Ruby has been a part of the early childhood industry for over eight years. She is passionate about early childhood education and her mission is to ensure the best preschool experience for every one of our Goddard families. Being a part of the ever growing Katy community, she is a familiar face in the neighborhood. She absolutely loves what she does and looks forward to welcoming new families to the Goddard community!

Ruby

Amber, Lead Teacher Ms. Amber was born in Boston, Massachusetts and she was raised in Northern California in the San Francisco Bay Area. She moved to Texas in August 2017. She has been teaching for eight going on nine years. She started as an Associate Teacher in a Before and After school program, and worked for three years there before moving to teach a Pre-K class of her own for two years. Then, she moved to teach Infants and she has been working as an Infant teacher for the last two years. She attended Las Positas College in Livermore, California and obtained two associates: one in Early Childhood Development, and one in Early Childhood Education. Also, she has Certificates in Childcare Family and Community, Management in Childcare Facilities, and Children with Special Needs. After graduating, she attended California State East Bay to obtain her Bachelors in Liberal Arts with a minor in Early Childhood Education. She graduated in Spring, 2017 and she moved to Texas the following Fall. She is the parent of two beautiful and handsome boys and have been married for six years.

Yesenia, Lead Teacher Ms. Yesenia has been in Early Childhood Education for more than eight years. She is from Richmond, Texas. She graduated from Foster High School in 2009. Ms. Yesenia believes children can learn through play and a loving environment. She has a 6 year old son and a one year old daughter that she loves dearly. She is excited for her future here in the Goddard School at Katy II.

Maribel, Lead Teacher Mrs. Maribel, originally from Venezuela, has been living in Katy, TX for the past 11 years with her husband and three kids. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business law but once moving to the United States she discovered a passion for children, which led her to start working as a freelance child care provider. Her ability to speak both English and Spanish allows her to introduce both languages to the kids in different activities. She is a very compassionate and caring teacher that does everything she can to provide a safe learning environment for the kids.

Abigail, Lead Teacher Ms. Abigail was born and raised in Texas. She has been working with children for the last eight years and plans on continuing her career with children as a Kindergarten teacher. Her hobbies are shopping and spending time with her son.

Sonia, Lead Teacher Ms. Sonia has been married for 37 years and she has two teenage children: one is studding the 3rd year in the UH University, and the other one is going to start his 1st year at the university. She loves children and she is happy to be a part of the Goddard family.

Melanie, Lead Teacher Ms. Melanie graduated from George Bush High School. She has been working with kids for the past six years. She worked in Goddard Katy I for 1 ½ years. She enjoys working with children of all ages and loves to watch them grow. She has two boys of her own, an 8 years old and a 5 year old. She is looking forward to working with these wonderful children at Katy II. Ms. Melanie will enjoy giving them wonderful learning experiences full of fun and love in a positive and nurturing environment through the school year.

Alicia, Lead Teacher Ms. Alicia has been in early childhood education for 4 years. She stepped away for 6 years to work in the oil and gas industry. She decided to go back to what she loves which is working with children. She has been married to her wonderful husband for 5 years and they have 3 amazing children who they love so much. She recently received her CDA certification and she is hoping one day she can receive her bachelor’s degree in teaching. She is so happy to be part of the Goddard family.

Sandra , Lead Teacher Ms. Sandra was born and raised in California and moved to Katy, Texas with her husband and her two beautiful children in 2009. She graduated from Langham Creek High School. She has always enjoyed working with children whether it was babysitting or even helping her son’s kindergarten teacher in her spare time. She is planning to continue with her education and some day become a certified teacher herself. She is very grateful and exited to be part of the Goddard family and she can’t wait to see what the future holds for her in our school. She enjoys being the teacher of the Toddleroo classroom and can’t wait to watch them grow through the Goddard School’s F.L.E.X. learning program!

Julissa, Lead Teacher Meet Mrs. Juli! She has over 15 years of experience in a pre-school environment. Mrs. Juli is in the process of completing her CDA. She feels every child can become who they were created to be as long as we believe in them. On April 11, 2014, she married her amazing husband Ivy and now she is the mother of five awesome children. She loves art, spending time with her family and watching football, especially if her sons or the Dallas Cowboys are playing. She loves to eat anything covered in gravy. Above all, her passion is praying for people and spreading God’s word. She feels really blessed to be part of the Goddard family and she is so excited to be the Pre-School 2 teacher. She can’t wait to see what the future holds for her working here and she looks forward to raising the next leaders’ generation.

Laurel, Lead Teacher Ms. Laurel has been a teacher for more than 19 years. She loves working with children, it gives her great joy to know that she has made a positive impact in a child’s life. Her teaching style is quite simple. She believes that children learn through play in a loving and caring environment. She is a caring teacher who takes the time to spend with each child to learn what motivates them to learn more!

MaryBeth, Lead Teacher Ms. MaryBeth has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies form the University of Houston-Downtown. She has fourteen years of experience in child care and education. She has worked as a substitute teacher, paraprofessional in a special education classroom, and a kindergarten teacher at Schmalz Elementary School in Katy I.S.D. She loves reading and spending time with her family. Making sure all the students can learn is her true hope. Students deserve to have an environment where they can play and learn.

MaryBeth

Kelly, Lead Teacher Mrs. Kelly lived in Houston for almost twenty years and recently moved to Richmond. She graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She has been working with young children for more than four years. She loves working with them because she loves to see them learn and grow every day. She believes children learn best when interacting and socializing with their peers and hands-on activities. In her free time she loves to take her daughters, thirteen years old and eighteen months old, to the library or book stores. Her family is happy she is a teacher!

Rosangel, Lead Teacher Mrs. Rosie is very excited to joining the preschool Team at Goddard School in Katy 2. She was born in Venezuela. She got her Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education at University of Carabobo in Venezuela. She has been teaching 12 years mainly in the preschool age group. She enjoys working with children and she loves to see them grow and learn. So, she is doing what she loves the most, and that is teaching!!!

Rosangel

Maria, Lead Teacher Ms. Maria was born in Valencia, Venezuela. She decided to move to Houston in 2014. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University Jose Paez, Venezuela. She stared her teaching journey in 2009, giving her 9 years of teaching experience. She is bilingual in both English and Spanish languages. Her favorite thing about teaching is that she loves how much she learns from each of her students every day.

Zahra, Lead Teacher Mrs. Zahra graduated from the University of Houston in 2008 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. Her passion for teaching and working with children began way before that! She was privileged to have worked for five years at Exley Elementary here in Katy I.S.D. She worked as an ESL Teacher with students from grades Kindergarten to 5th grade. She gained her ESL certification during that time. She is thrilled about becoming a part of the prestigious Goddard Family! As an educator, she strives to provide her students with a nurturing environment where they feel safe and excited to learn each day!

Angela, Lead Teacher Ms. Angie grew up in Austin, Texas. She always had a passion for children. She attended Texas State University to study Early Childhood Education. She made the move to Katy in the Spring of 2014 and truly loved the area. She has 9 years experience working with children. She has managed 3 after school programs, helping build one from the ground up into a flourishing program. She is very excited to be a part of The Goddard family. I would love for you to stop by and get a tour of our amazing before and after school and summer camp Annex!

Riley Morgan, Lead Teacher Mr. Riley has lived in Katy for about 9 years. He graduated from Morton Ranch High School. He is currently attending the Lone Star Cy-Fair working on to transfer to the University of Texas in Austin. He has worked in early childhood education for about four years as a Pre-K teachers and he enjoyed every second of it. He is now real happy to be part of the Before and After School program at the Goddard School.

Riley Morgan

Anabelle, Assistant Teacher Ms. Anabelle graduated from the University of Guam with a bachelor degree in Business Administration. Prior to join Th Goddard School, she lived overseas with her family. She worked at the Department of Defense Education Activity as a Kindergarten Assistant in Japan. She is passionate about Early Childhood Education and simply enjoy working with children. She enjoys the outdoors and love playing sports. She is really happy to be part of The Goddard School!

Anabelle

Consuelo, Assistant Teacher Meet Mrs Consuelo! She is from Long Beach, California and moved to Katy, Texas in 2007. Consuelo is a mother of two, a girl and a boy and is also a grandmother. Children have always been a big part of her life. She used to babysit her nieces and nephews before she had her own children. Consuelo's ultimate goal in life is to see her grandchildren grow and teach them good values.

Lindsey, Assistant Teacher Ms. Lindsey was born in Houston, TX and moved to Katy 10 years ago. She is currently enrolled at a Lone Star Community college and hopes to transfer to The University of Houston in 2 years. She is studying to be an elementary school teacher. Previously, she worked at The Little Gym for a year and a half as an instructor for Pre-K and grade school dance and gymnastics. At the present, she hosts birthdays parties at The Little Gym during the weekends. She loves being able to be a part of a child's learning and growing experience, as well as, seeing kids have fun and enjoying the environment they are in!

Lindsey

Ana, Assistant Teacher Ms. Ana has over 2 years experience working with children. She has a high school diploma. Ms. Ana loves every part of her day, but what she loves the most is Circle Time because she loves to see how the children learn their ABC's, the colors, the numbers, the figures, etc. in both languages English and Spanish. It gives her joy to be surrounded by children.

Maria, Assistant Teacher Mrs. Maria moved to Texas from Colorado with her husband in 2014, after hearing how residents take good care of their community. She settled in Katy and currently has 3 girls. She is CNA, First AID/CPR, and First Responder certified. During high school, she was involved in Colorado Area Health Education Program where she mentored younger students who had an interest in Healthcare. Her hobbies included spending time with family, dancing and going to the beach. She is grateful to have an opportunity bonding with children at the Goddard School and is excited to see what the future holds!

Brenda, Assistant Teacher Ms. Brenda was born and raised in Texas. She graduated from James E. Taylor High School and she is currently attending Lonestar Community College. She has been working with children since she was just 16 years old. She loves being around them and watching them grow. She believes that teaching is a very rewarding career.

Crystal, Assistant Teacher Ms. Crystal has taught in the child care over 5 years. She loves being a Pre-Kindergarten teacher because it gives her a good feeling getting the children ready for their next school year, the Kindergarten. She strongly believes that teachers plant the seeds of knowledge that will grow forever and that each child is special in their own ways. She is real happy to be part of the Goddard School!

Becky, Resource My name is Mrs. Becky. I graduated from Florida Institute of Technology with a Bachelor degree in Computer Science couple with several in Business Administration and Management. I am excited to bring my wealth of knowledge in computer related duties and organizational skills to the teachers and administration team. After acquiring my degree in Melbourne, Florida, I returned back to my first home in Venezuela where I worked for 10 years in INTERALUMINA, CVG Corporation as a Data Base Administrator. After my stint there my family and I moved back to United States and started my career in Business Administration with IWC. I worked as a Computer Instructor in different software packages, and served as a Contingency Planning Director for COMMODITY CUSTOMER Corp., an International operation company in the oil and gas service for Venezuela and other countries. I have been a member of the Katy community since 1989 and employed with the Goddard School family since January of 2010. I completed the CDA (Child Development Associate) credential in 2011 and since then I have been enjoying helping and sharing all my knowledge with my co-workers. But, most of all, I’m extremely honored to be a part of the Goddard School.

Lorellie, Resource Mrs. Lorelli is from Philippines. She studied Associate in Business Information and Management. She has been living in Katy for the last three years. She has more than two years of experience in child care and recently she recently acquired her certificate for Child Development Associate in order to be an effective educator for young children. She loves being around the children and to be a part of their growth and development. In the future she plans to go back to school to pursue Early Childhood Education courses.

Maria Del Pilar, Resource Mrs. Pilar is originally from Colombia. She has a Bachelor's degree as an Architect. She has been leaving in Texas for the past eight years with her husband and her two children. She has been working in early child care for over four years. She believes all children should be greeted with a smile because how you start their day will set the tone of their whole day. She enjoys being The Goddard School Spanish teacher because she loves to see how our children have so much fun learning a new language. She is really happy to be part of the Goddard family.
