Offering The Best Childhood Preparation for Social and Academic Success.

The Goddard School’s summer camp is powered by STEAM and fueled by fun!

Our summer camp curriculum incorporates STEAM learning (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) into exciting, one-of-a-kind and fun experiences for your child every day! We offer a broad range of programs and mini-camps to pique the interest and curiosity of every child.

The founding principle of The Goddard School’s curriculum is that children experience the deepest, most genuine learning when they are having fun. We have integrated this philosophy into every aspect of our summer camp to foster play-based learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. We’ve created a variety of camps so your children can find a program they will absolutely love. See them below!

Our Camps

June 29th - July 2nd 2 YEARS - 7 YEARS

A'Hoy Mate! This week the children will turn on their inner “Pirate” when they immerse themselves in this exciting theme! From making their own Pirate Eye Patch to creating Sunken Treasure Discovery Bottles, this theme is sure to capture the imagination and sense of adventure that is innate in every child. Story books like How I Became a Pirate by Melinda Long and David Shannon will grab the children’s attention, while creating and following their own treasure maps, walking their own plank and snacking on some “Pirate Grub” will add to the authenticity of their experience. We AAARRRRR sure to have a lot of fun during this week here at Goddard!

July 6th - July 10th 2 MONTHS - 7 YEARS

In Animal Adventures, your child will go on a safari to learn all about the beautiful and sometimes strange animals in the world. We’ll sample animal-themed crafts, books and games in the classroom and then venture outside to learn about the critters that dwell in our own backyard.

July 13th - July 17th 2 MONTHS - 7 YEARS

Books are gateways to new worlds filled with interesting characters and stories. Authors in Training offers your child the chance to bring a world, its characters and their stories to life. We’ll also dive into other areas of literature, such as poetry and non-fiction. Younger children can narrate or draw their stories, connecting meaning to pictures and words.

July 20th - July 24th 2 MONTHS - 7 YEARS

Art has been around for a long time. People were drawing on the walls of caves more than 35,000 years ago! Now your child can create some unique art in Paint. Draw. Sculpt. Your child will create art with crayons, paint, clay and more.

July 27th - July 31st 2 MONTHS - 7 YEARS

Getting Sticky with It! Have you ever seen a boat made from duct tape? Do you think you can create a painting by using painter’s tape? Can you use your imagination to create a robot or playhouse using tape? This week the children will use painters tape, duct tape and other “sticky” materials to help create wonderful masterpieces!

August 3rd - August 7th 2 MONTHS - 7 YEARS

Kitchen Chemists! This week, the children will discuss healthy eating, they will measure ingredients, invent recipes, create menus and prepare their own food in our Cooking Workshop! This week’s theme will cover the entire curriculum from math and science to literacy and art. We cannot wait to share with you the children’s culinary creations!

August 10th - August 14th 2 MONTHS - 7 YEARS

Simple machines help us carry out many basic tasks. If you need to lift something heavy, you might use a pulley. If you want to keep a door open, you might put a wedge between the bottom of the door and the ground. Your child will discover how simple machines can make life easier in Engi-nuity!

August 17th - August 21st 2 MONTHS - 7 YEARS

If you cut Earth in half, you would see several layers. The movement of the layers of the Earth formed the mountains and volcanoes, which are part of the top layer, called the crust. And rocks? Rocks are pieces of the crust that have broken off. In Epic Explorers, your child will explore the many layers of the Earth.
