    Miss Hillary and Miss Emily

    Owners
    Ms Hillary joined our team November of 2010 as one of the Owners of the school. Prior to her move to The Goddard School, she worked for IBM Global Services. Ms Hillary has four children that have graduated from the School. She is very excited to be able to combine her love of children with the desire to have a positive impact on so many young lives! Miss Emily joined the The Goddard School in November of 2007 and is the Owner, along with Hillary, of the school. She has her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Oregon.

    Mr Cameron

    Director of Education
    Director Of The Year 2010 - Mr. Cameron joined The Goddard School in July of 2007. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Education and Psychology from Bennington College as well as his Master's in Education from UW. Cameron began his career working with children over 25 years ago. He has experience working in preschools, in both teaching and administration. He has also worked as a Social Worker and Child Advocate with The Children’s Relief Nursery in Portland.

    Miss Christian

    Office Assistant
    Miss Christian is the office assistant. She graduated from Western Washington University with her Bachelor's Degree in Humanities and Social Services. Her previous experience includes working with both the cities of Vancouver, WA and Redmond, WA working with youth and people with disabilities. While in college, Miss Christian worked with at risk youth as an advocate. She is excited to be inspiring young minds here at The Goddard School and looks forward to getting to know your children.

    Lead Teacher - Infants
    Ms. Anna is the lead teacher in our Baby Birds Infant classroom. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from Washington State University. Her experience includes over fifteen years working with infants through school-aged children. She is excited to share new things with the children and to be able to teach at The Goddard School.

    Assistant Teacher - Infants
    Ms. Jen is an Assistant Teacher in the Baby Birds classroom. She has over two decades of experience working with infants all the way up to 11 year olds. She is excited to be back in an infant classroom working with our youngest friends in the building.

    Lead Teacher - Toddlers
    Miss Elena is a Lead Teacher in the Scout's classroom. Prior to coming to The Goddard School she worked as a team manager and in dispatch at ESD 112. She has her Medical Assistant Certificate from Charter College. She enjoys being with young children and is thrilled to provide a caring, nurturing environment for them.

    Lead Teacher - Toddlers
    Ms. Shahna is a Lead Teacher in the Pathfinder's classroom. She has been working with children for over 30 years. She was a nanny for several years and worked in another center. She also opened and ran her own home daycare for 10 years. Children smiling and laughing bring her heart the greatest joy and she is very excited to continue her passion for working with children at The Goddard School.

    Assistant Teacher - Toddlers
    Miss Michelle is an Assistant Teacher in the Pathfinder's classroom at The Goddard School. She has worked with children in both Preschool and Elementary schools for 12 years. She is very excited to teach and care for the younger children in the school!

    Lead Teacher - Toddlers
    Miss Bonnie is a Lead Teacher the Discoverer's classroom. Prior to coming to The Goddard School, she was a para educator in Special Education for the Evergreen School District for 12 years. She is excited to be a part of the younger group of children and help them grow!

    Miss Alia is part of our resource staff. She recently graduated from Fort Vancouver High School and is planning to go back to school to further her education. She has many years of experience working with infants through school-age children.

    I have my bachelor's degree from University of Washington and have been working with children for two years. My love of watching children learn an grow is what lead me to the path of teaching. I look forward to getting to know all your children.

    Miss Kara is an Assistant Teacher at The Goddard School. She is currently completing her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Brigham Young University. Her prior experience includes working with kids in kindergarten and 1st grade.

    Miss Katelynn is a Lead Teacher in the Wanderer's classrooms. She is currently attending Portland State University majoring in Social Work. She has worked for multiple families as a nanny. She is looking forward to her work at The Goddard School and encouraging the children's growth.

    Miss Hailey is the assistant teacher in our Wanderer's classroom. Prior to coming to the school, she was a nanny for a couple of different families. She graduated from Clark College with her Associate Degree and is continuing her education through Clark College in ASL Studies. She loves watching children learn and grow and is excited to work with all the little ones!

    Miss Kara is a Lead Teacher in the Dreamer's classroom at The Goddard School. She has three years of experience working as an Assistant Teacher at a Preschool in Portland and an additional two years as a nanny. She is excited to stretch her skills at The Goddard School while she continues to work with all ages of children.

    Miss Leslie is an Assistant Teacher in the Dreamer's classroom. Prior to coming to work at The Goddard School, she was a nanny for multiple children. She is excited to meet each family and make connections with the children.

    Miss Jamie is an Assistant Teacher in the Adventurer's preschool classroom. Prior to coming to The Goddard School, she was a nanny for 10 years. She cared for children ranging in age from newborn to 7 years old. She is excited to continue working with children in the Preschool classroom.

    Miss Aby is an Assistant Teacher in the Adventurer's classroom. She started part time as a high school student and progressed to an Assistant Teacher. She is currently attending Portland Community College.

    Miss Makenna is the Lead Teacher in the Ranger's classroom. She is currently a student at Clark College pursuing her degree in Education. She has worked with children for the last 4 years and is excited to utilize and build her education while teaching in the Preschool classroom.

    Miss Erica is an Assistant Teacher in the Ranger's classroom. Prior to working at The Goddard School she worked at another Early Childhood Center where she was a teacher for 5 years. She is excited to be part of The Goddard School team!

    Miss Erin is a Lead Teacher in the Explorer's Pre-Kindergarten classroom. She has been working with children for many years, first in The PACE Program and then at The Helen Gordon Childcare Center at PSU. She is currently attending Portland State and working towards her degree in Social Work. She is excited to grow and learn with the children here at The Goddard School.

    Miss Aisha is a Lead Teacher in our Explorers pre-kindergarten classroom. She graduated from Lewis & Clark college with a degree in social work and has spent time working in counseling but feel most fulfilled while working with children.

    Lead Teacher - Pre-Kindergarten
    Miss Shea is a Lead Teacher in the Trailblazer's Pre-Kindergarten classroom. She has Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice and is planning to return to school to obtain her Masters in Youth Psychology. Prior to coming to The Goddard School, she worked at a children's teen homeless shelter. She is excited to be working with younger children and broadening her knowledge in Early Childhood Education.

    Miss Raquel is a Lead Teacher in our Trailblazers pre-kindergarten classroom. She graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Child Development from San Jose University. She has worked with children for over five years.

    Assistant Teacher
    Ms. Alyssa is an Assistant Teacher at The Goddard School. She has taken coursework at Portland Bible College in nursing and pediatrics, as well as has her certificate in Early Childhood Education. She is excited to be part of the children's days here at The Goddard School!

    Miss Brooklynn is an assistant teacher in our Discoverer's toddler classroom. Prior to working at The Goddard school she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Being a CNA taught her nurturing, caring, and listening skills. She is excited to take on this adventure working with children.

    Resource Staff
    Mr. Joe is part of our resource staff, primarily in our Pre-k and Preschool classrooms. He has experience as a coach for youth after-school programs and at an indoor park for children. He's excited to be at The Goddard School and looks forward to teaching and getting to know all the children in the school.

    Miss Jordyn is an Assistant Teacher in our Dreamer's and Wanderer's classrooms. She graduated from Colorado Christian University with her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She hopes to continue her education with a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling.

    Miss Cindi is part of our resource staff. She has worked in an elementary school setting previously. She loves to hear the way children express themselves and their ideas regarding the world.

    I have a bachelor's degree from Washington State University in Psychology with an emphasis in Human Development and Criminal Justice. Prior to joining The Goddard School I worked with infants and toddlers. I look forward to supporting your child through their learning and growth.
