Hi, my name is Falicia! I am a Navy wife, cat mom, and enjoy anything of the arts. I participated in dance for 10 years and theater for 6. I was born in Wisconsin, moved to Georgia and then to Florida where I graduated from Idabaker High School. I then moved to California before the Navy brought my husband and I here to Virginia! I have worked with children for eight years and I am excited to work with and get to know the staff and children at The Goddard School!

I am very excited about the opportunity to serve the community through the opening of the latest Goddard School in Yorktown. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University. After 15 years of working for several Fortune 1.000 companies, I have decided to combine a lifelong dream of owning my own business with my love of children. Hi my name is Tammy and I am a proud member of the Coast Guard Family. My husband Andrew and I have been married for 26 years and have two girls. My travels have taken me to Key West, Hawaii, and here to Virginia. Although, I’m a true “Mainah” at heart born and raised. Yes, you might even hear me say, “It’s wicked good!” I love The Patriots and The Red Sox. I have a Child Development Associates credential and have over 25 years of experience working with children and their families. Early Childhood is my passion. I enjoy staying busy with our girls and supporting them in all that they do. Joining The Goddard School is very exciting for me. I have seven years experience as a lead teacher for the Preschool class here at The Goddard School. I truly love what I do and watching the children grow while having fun! Hi, my name is Barbie and I am a mother of two. I am a military wife and have lived all over the country. I am originally from Maryland! I have my degree in Applied Behavioral Science with a minor in Child Development. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy coaching our sons’ baseball team with my husband and traveling (especially to Disney). I am very excited to start this new chapter of my life. I moved to North Carolina to attend North Carolina State University, where I received my Bachelor’s in Forensic Science. I am currently in Law School, attending Campbell University. Hi, my name is Katerina. You can call me Katy! I was adopted at just 7 months old. I was born in the Ukraine, lived in Australia for 3 years, and have been in Virginia ever since. I will soon be attending Thomas Nelson Community College to work towards a degree in Early Childhood Education. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, art, and anything to further my knowledge in my studies. I also love spending time with family and friends. Hi, my name is Sue and I was born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. I am married with three children. My husband is retired Air Force. I graduated from Lock Haven State with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. After graduating, I taught preschool for many years. I was also a Director of an Early Childhood Center. As a military family, we have had the opportunity to live in places such as Oklahoma, Colorado, Iceland, North Carolina and now, Virginia. I have enjoyed being a lead teacher here at The Goddard School.

I was nine years old when I moved to the United States. I earned an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts from ECPI University for Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing for Entertainment from Full Sail University. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, and playing Pokemon. I also like to draw and play Dominoes with my family!
