Matt and Janie Lisagor are the owners of the Goddard School in Williamsburg. They were born and raised in the Williamsburg area. They have two children ages 28 and 21. Their youngest child attended and graduated from another Goddard School location. They were so impressed by the school they decided to open a school of their own. Janie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Early Education and a Master’s degree in Education Administration. Janie’s background includes 12 years of experience as a classroom school teacher. Matt earned a degree in Accounting from Old Dominion University. Matt’s background includes over 25 years of experience as a CPA, business owner and COO in the healthcare industry. Mrs. Melissa is a Director. She has worked with Infants through School Age children as an assistant teacher, lead teacher and Director for over 28 years before joining the Goddard Team in January 2013. She has two beautiful daughters, one is a graduate of Goddard. She received her Associate's Degree in Child Development and attended Marymount University for Psychology with a minor in Education. *First Aid and CPR Certified *Medication Administration Trained (MAT)

Mrs. Morgan is a director. She has been working with children for over 10 years as a teacher, school librarian, summer camp director, and after school program director. She is the loving mother of a daughter who attends The Goddard School currently. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, and her Master's Degree in Leadership. *First Aid and CPR Certified *Medication Administration Trained (MAT).

Ms. Stacey is the lead teacher in the Bunnies room. She has completed early childhood certifications in various areas such as Health and Safety, Knowledge of Vaccines, and Resilient Care Givers, and is currently working on her Associates Degree. She is the loving mother of a six-year-old son. *First Aid and CPR certified

Ms. Taylor is an assistant teacher in our Bunnies classroom. She has extensive experience with young children, having worked as a nanny and in private childcare settings previously. *First Aid and CPR certified.

Ms. Sarah is an assistant teacher in our Bunnies classroom. She started out in healthcare, receiving training from Riverside and working in nursing homes and at the hospital. She has always loved children, and continued working with them during her medical training. *First Aid and CPR certified

Mrs. Roseanne is the assistant teacher in the Chipmunks classroom. She has a background in medicine, having worked and volunteered extensively in medical offices previously. She has also worked as a caregiver, and discovered her love of working with children in 2016 while providing care for a family with two young children. *CPR and First Aid certified

Ms. Delaney is the lead teacher in the Turtles classroom. She has worked with all ages in the school and has been with Goddard for over three years. She has a Child Development Associate. *CPR and First Aid certified. *MAT certified.

Mrs. Nikki is the assistant teacher in the Turtles classroom. She has been in the early childhood field for over a year, and is the loving mother to two sons of her own. *First Aid and CPR certified

Ms. Lindsey is the lead teacher in the Seals classroom. She worked with children over 6 years before joining the Goddard Team in August 2012. She has her Child Development Associates (CDA) Certificate. She is the loving mother to a son who attends Goddard. *First Aid & CPR Certified

Ms. Emily is the assistant teacher in our Seals classroom. She was previously the director of the local Boys and Girls Club, and has over 10 years of experience with children from working as a nanny, summer camp counselor, and afterschool program counselor. She intends to continue working with children and advancing in the field of early childhood education. *First Aid and CPR certified

Mrs. Luba is the lead teacher in the Bear's classroom. She comes to Goddard with many years of experience in early childhood education. She received a Bachelors Degree in Teaching from the University of Ukraine in 1986. She is a mother to a daughter that is 25 years old. *First Aid and CPR certified *MAT certified

Ms. Rebekah is the assistant teacher in our Bears classroom, and she previously worked with all ages in our school as a Part-Time Assistant Teacher. She has worked extensively with young children as an assistant swim instructor and nanny, and intends to continue her education in early childhood development while working with Goddard. *First Aid and CPR certified.

Mrs. Trinitee is the lead teacher in the Otter's classroom. She has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and is completing her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education currently. She is passionate about working with young children, and has extensive experience with all ages. *First Aid and CPR certified *MAT certified

Ms. Aggie is the assistant teacher in the Otters classroom. She moved to Virginia from Alabama and joined Goddard shortly afterward. She previously worked in the customer service field and has gained extensive experience working with children of all ages. *First Aid and CPR certified

Ms. Katelyn is the lead teacher in the Raccoon's classroom. She has been in early childhood education since 2012, and recently completed her Child Development Associate. She has been with Goddard for over two years, previously working as the assistant teacher in Raccoons. *First Aid and CPR certified

Ms. Cheyenne is the assistant teacher in Raccoons classroom. She has an extensive background in Early Childhood Education, and came to us from being a lead in a Pre-K classroom for 3 years. She will be graduating with her Associate's degree in May of 2024 and plans to continue her degree in education! *First Aid and CPR certified

Mrs. Pebbles is the lead teacher in the Pelican's classroom. She has worked with children for over 18 years and has an Associate’s degree in Arts (Elementary, Middle, and Special Education). Mrs. Yvonne is the assistant teacher in the Pelican's classroom. She has worked in the Customer Service field for over 20 years before joining the Goddard Team in September 2010. *2014 Teacher of the Year. *April 2016 Teacher of the Month from Williamsburgfamilies.com. *First Aid and CPR Certified

Ms. Nova is the lead teacher in the Eagle's classroom. She comes to Goddard with close to 20 years of experience teaching Pre-kindergarten through elementary school age children. She has a Bachelor's in English and a Master's in Christian Studies. She is currently completing her Master's in Art of teaching elementary education. *First Aid and CPR certified

Mrs. Sarah is the assistant teacher in the Eagle's classroom . She comes to Goddard with extensive experience in the field of early childhood education, having been a lead teacher previously. She also ran her own in-home daycare for years, which she enjoyed tremendously. She has two beautiful daughters who attend school locally. *First Aid and CPR certified

Ms. Charlotte works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She graduated from Jamestown High School and is currently working on her Child Development Associate. She has been with Goddard for four years. *First Aid and CPR certified.

Mr. Joshua is our technology resource and school maintenance. He has an Associate's in Information Technology and Applied Science and is currently completing his Bachelor's Degree. He has worked at The Goddard School for 6 years. *First Aid and CPR certified

Ms. Susan works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She is a loving mother and grandmother who loves spending time with children of all ages. Her experience includes working at the Department of Defense spanning a period of 20 years before joining the Goddard Team in January 2016. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Human Resources Administration from St. Leo College. *CPR and First Aid certified

Ms. Lauren works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She joined our team in June 2014 and has worked with young children for over 12 years as a lead and assistant teacher. *First Aid and CPR certified.

Mrs. Alicyn works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She has extensive experience with young children, having worked with them in varying capacities for several years. She is a loving mother of two and a grandmother of three. *First Aid and CPR certified

Ms. Kayla works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She has worked with young children for many years as an assistant teacher and a nanny. She is a graduate of Jamestown High School and is attending James Madison University while she works on her Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. *First Aid and CPR certified.

Ms. Cara works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She has worked in several different industries, most recently for New Kent Elementary Head Start as an assistant teacher, and brings her vast experience to The Goddard School. As a mother of two she has the knowledge of the development of young children. *CPR and First Aid certified. *MAT certified

Ms. Sydney works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She is currently studying Education at William and Mary, with a focus on Special Education. She has been working with children for as long as she can remember, and was first employed at age 13 as a camp counselor. *First Aid and CPR certified

Ms. Olivia works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She is currently a student at William and Mary with plans to study law. She previously was a President's Assistant where she helped her peers with various issues, and as a result she developed a passion for helping others. This passion led her to work with young children. *First Aid and CPR certified

Ms. Courtney works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She is currently a dual-enrollment student at Lafayette High School and Virginia Peninsula Community College, and is working to become certified as an EMT. She plays field hockey, and has helped coach local elementary students in the sport. In the future she intends to join the Air Force or become a paramedic. *CPR and First Aid certified

Ms. Abby works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She is currently finishing her junior year of High School. She has extensive personal experience with young children, having provided care for her family members' babies and toddlers. *CPR and First Aid Certified

Ms. Aryes works with all ages as a part-time assistant teacher. She is currently studying nursing at Virginia Peninsula Community College, and has the long-term goal of becoming an OBGYN. She has extensive personal experience with babies and toddlers, having frequently provided care for her young niece and nephew. *CPR and First Aid certified

Mrs. Luz works with all ages in the school as a part-time assistant teacher, . She has an extensive background teaching English to Preschoolers and Kindergarteners in Peru. Her passion for children led her to continue working with them, and she hopes to become a full-time teacher.
