    Robert & Jiena

    Owners
    Robert and Jiena are the dedicated owners of The Goddard School in the Spring-Harmony location. Robert has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Jiena has a Master’s degree in Music Composition. They have two sons, Ian and Carson, and a daughter named Zoe who have all attended The Goddard School. They are committed to making sure that each child who passes through The Goddard School doors are educated and cared for with love. Their high standards for excellence and customer service are apparent throughout the school, and they are happy to be able to provide Goddard’s outstanding program to the children in this community.
  •  Niesha

    Niesha

    Director
    Miss Niesha joined the Goddard family in October 2021 and brings with her over 16 years of experience in the early childhood education field. As the Director at our Spring Harmony location, she wears many hats each day—leading the school, supporting teachers, guiding families, conducting tours, and much more. Her passion for early education shines through in everything she does. Miss Niesha is especially dedicated to Health & Safety and curriculum development. As part of the Wonder of Learning beta pilot, she plays an active role in shaping a learning environment where children can thrive. She deeply values the atmosphere in which children learn and grow, always striving to make it nurturing, engaging, and inspiring. Miss Niesha loves being around children of all ages. You'll often find her reading books, singing, and dancing with them. She enjoys all kinds of music, but her favorite is instructional songs that encourage movement and creativity—what she calls "Move & Groove!"
  • Mrs Sara

    Mrs Sara

    Assistant Director
    Ms. Sara brings over 17 years of experience in early childhood education, child care, and behavioral therapy to her role as Assistant Director at our school. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Early Childhood through 6th Grade) from the University of Houston–Downtown and an Associate’s degree in Teaching. Ms. Sara also spent five years in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), working with children on the autism spectrum, which strengthened her passion for inclusive, individualized learning. She has served in multiple roles, including teacher assistant, school district secretary, and early childhood leader. Ms. Sara is currently pursuing her Director’s License to further grow in child development and early education leadership. Her favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and she believes that every child deserves a safe, nurturing space to learn and grow. She’s excited to support your family and help children thrive!

    Team Lead
    Ms. Chloe is our Team Lead! With nearly a decade of experience in working with children, she brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to our team. Originally from Northwest Arkansas, Ms. Chloe moved to Houston in January 2024 to advance her career in early childhood education. Her journey from a Pre-K teacher to a leadership role has been marked by her commitment to nurturing young minds. At The Goddard School, Ms. Chloe is excited to be part of an institution that goes beyond traditional schooling, embracing the holistic approach of an Early Childhood Development Center. Outside of her professional life, she loves exploring Houston’s vibrant culinary scene.

    Mr. Jeff has been sharing his passion for cooking for over 40 years, bringing delicious meals and warm smiles to everyone around him. At The Goddard School, he loves knowing that his food helps brighten each child’s day. When he’s not in the kitchen, Mr. Jeff enjoys spending time with his beloved dog, Precious, and staying active by going to the gym. He’s also a proud father of two children, and his caring spirit shines through in everything he does. Mr. Jeff lives by a simple but powerful quote: “Spread love.”

    Ms Irah

    Teacher
    Ms. Irah is the Lead Teacher for the Preschool Prep classroom. A native of the Philippines, Ms. Irah is a mother of two beautiful children. With a passion for teaching children, she wakes up each day excited to teach her class something different. She finds it wonderful to teach them a lesson and then see them implement it throughout the school year.

    Adrianne

    Infant Teacher
    Ms. Adrianne is a dedicated Infant teacher with experience supporting children from infancy through age four. With one year of early childhood education experience, she is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and achieve important developmental milestones. She earned her academic foundation in Forensic Science at Texas Southern University and later expanded her knowledge through specialized childcare training programs. Inspired by her love for children and the guidance of her teacher-filled family, Ms. Adrianne chose to pursue a career in early childhood education. Outside the classroom, she enjoys swimming, discovering new activities with friends, and exploring family-friendly destinations around Houston with her niece. Fun Fact: Ms. Adrianne has been dancing since the age of seven.

    Mrs Sugey

    Lead Infant Teacher
    Mrs. Sugey has been working in childcare for two years. Her passion for early childhood education was inspired by her daughter’s difficult experience in childcare, which motivated her to create a nurturing, safe environment where children feel loved and supported as they grow and learn. She values the strong bonds she builds with her students and takes pride in watching them reach new milestones each day. She studied in Mexico City and enjoys bringing her culture into the classroom, enriching the learning experience for her students. Outside of work, Mrs. Sugey loves bike riding, going for walks, spending time by the water, and enjoying the outdoors. In addition to being a dedicated teacher, she is also a proud “Glamma” to a beautiful 3-year-old. At home, she admits she’s a little spoiled herself—but it only adds to her warmth and charm in the classroom.

    Pre-K 2 Lead Teacher
    Ms. Enedina is our Pre Kindergarten teacher; she has over 15 years of experience in early childhood education. She has a multitude of training's and certificates that help her succeed in her teaching career. Having worked with all ages, from infants to school age, Ms. Enedina has a passion for teaching and loves to see how the children grow and learn. In her free time she loves to knit and crochet. A fun fact about Ms. Enedina is that she is very creative!

    Ms. Affinite is our Toddler Teacher! With five years of experience in early childhood education, Affinite brings warmth, creativity, and enthusiasm to the classroom every day. She loves the energy toddlers bring and finds joy in watching them grow, gain independence, and develop their unique personalities. Outside the classroom, Affinite is an avid reader with a growing book collection and a talented artist who loves to draw. Her passion for nurturing young minds and her creative spirit help her build meaningful connections with every child she teaches!

    Lead First Step Teacher
    Ms. Judy is our First Steps Lead Teacher. She has been working in the childcare industry for 8 years. She loves working with children because she loves to motivate and teach them new things as they grow. In her free time, Ms. Judy enjoys spending time with her friends and family, A fun fact about Ms. Judy is that she likes taking pictures and dressing up!

    Ms Taryn

    Lead Teacher School Age
    We’re excited to introduce Ms. Taryn, our wonderful before and after school teacher! She supports and cares for students outside of regular class hours, creating a safe and fun environment for learning and play. Ms. Taryn brings a warm and positive attitude to her role and is always ready to help students with homework, activities, or just having a great time. With over 15 years of experience teaching bilingual English and Spanish, Ms. Taryn has spent much of her career working with 5th and 6th graders in Mexico. Moving to Mexico inspired her to teach children a second language, a journey she truly enjoyed. She also improved her own Spanish during this time and further developed her teaching skills through training at Oxford University programs in Mexico. A few fun facts about Ms. Taryn: She was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii and loves swimming and traveling!

    Ms. Joannies (Joa) is our Floater Teacher! She has over 15 years of experience working with children of all ages. Ms. Joa has 4 children, including a set of twins! She speaks English and Spanish fluently. In her free time, she enjoys participating in CrossFit. A fun fact about Joa is that she was a flight attendant for 12 years! She is so excited to be a part of your child's education and growth!

    Mrs Jenna

    Teacher
    Mrs. Jenna brings over 10 years of teaching experience to our pre-toddler classroom. Her favorite part of early education is how her students help keep her imagination young and full of wonder. Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, staying active through running, trying new foods, and being involved in her church and local community. Mrs. Jenna is excited to nurture young minds and watch each child in her classroom blossom and grow!
  •  Mrs. Tashina

    Mrs. Tashina

    Lead Preschool I Teacher
    Mrs. Tashina Jenkins has been working in early childhood education since 2007 and brings a deep passion for supporting 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds in their early learning journey. She has experience as both an ESL and special education aide, working with students in Pre-K through 1st grade. Mrs. Tashina earned her Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Western Governors University and is currently pursuing her Texas teacher certification through the Teachworthy program. Originally from Long Island, NY, she now enjoys life in Texas with her husband and two children, Aaliyah and Caden Kash. She loves exploring parks, road trips, and trying new foods. Mrs. Tashina is dedicated to creating a safe, loving, and engaging classroom where children feel valued, supported, and eager to learn each day. Her favorite moments are when students experience that exciting “click” of understanding. She’s honored to be part of your child’s preschool journey and can’t wait to partner with your family!
