    Erin Mitchell is the Director of The Goddard School of Dallas Lake Highlands, bringing over 10 + years of experience in Early Childhood Education and Human Resources. With a deep passion for nurturing young minds and fostering supportive learning environments, Erin is dedicated to ensuring every child receives a foundation of care, curiosity, and confidence. Holding a degree in Early Childhood Education from The Ohio State University, Erin has spent her career championing quality education and building strong teams of educators. Prior to joining Goddard, she served in leadership roles where she developed innovative curriculum programs, expanded community outreach, and led initiatives focused on inclusive child development. Erin oversees daily operations, curriculum implementation, staff development, and family engagement. She believes in building collaborative relationships with families and educators to create a warm, welcoming, and enriching environments for every child.

    Infant Teacher
    Mrs. Sakeena, who often goes by Ms. Keena, is the Infant Teacher for the Infant A class. A bubbly and outgoing educator, she has been dedicated to childcare since 1998 and considers teaching her happy place. Born and raised in McKinney, TX, she now lives in Mesquite with her family as a wife and mother. Her favorite color is yellow, and her personal interests include bowling, hunting, fishing, and traveling to experience other cultures. She cherishes family time, especially movie nights, and is a proud owner of two fur babies. Mrs. Sakeena firmly believes that "education is one thing that no one can take away from you."

    Ms. Jacquelyn Lang is a teacher at The Goddard School with an impressive 43-year career in early childhood education. She is passionate about helping children learn and grow each day. In her free time, she enjoys activities like shopping and dedicating time to her personal interests. She is thrilled to be a part of her students' learning journeys at The Goddard School.

    Toddler Teacher
    Mrs. Maribel is a dedicated Lead Teacher who is excited to meet her new students. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and currently lives with her husband and daughter. With six years of experience in early childhood education, she has previously worked at a Montessori school for four years and at The Goddard School of Rockwall for two years. When she is not teaching, Mrs. Maribel enjoys party planning and creates balloon arches for events as a side business. She also loves shopping, trying new restaurants, and visiting Starbucks. Some of her favorite things include reading books, rainbows, flowers, and shopping at Target and Amazon. Mrs. Maribel is committed to creating a fun and engaging learning environment for her students and is thrilled to be a part of their developmental milestones.

    Ms. Melani is embarking on her first year of teaching with great enthusiasm and a deep passion for early childhood education. She has always found joy in supporting children as they learn and grow and is honored to be a part of that formative process. Ms. Melani is currently furthering her expertise by pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, and she is dedicated to helping young learners build a strong academic and social foundation. She looks forward to fostering a nurturing, engaging, and dynamic classroom environment where every student can thrive.

    Mrs. Yajaira is a dedicated preschool teacher with over 15 years of experience. She creates a nurturing environment where two-year-olds at The Goddard School feel safe to explore and learn through play. Her teaching philosophy respects each child's individuality, fostering confidence and a love of learning. Outside the classroom, her passions for gardening and crafts often inspire creative, hands-on lessons for her students.

    Ms. Nya is an educator with six years of teaching experience who absolutely loves helping students learn and grow. When she is not in the classroom, she can often be found reading a good book or creating something artistic. She is eagerly looking forward to a year of learning, laughter, and amazing experiences together with her students.

    Ms. Angela is a dedicated preschool educator with nearly 40 years of experience shaping young minds and nurturing early learners. She holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in infant, toddler, and preschool education. Throughout her long and rewarding career, Angela has remained passionate about helping children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Her greatest joy comes from preparing children for kindergarten and supporting them as they learn to understand and express their feelings. Angela believes that every child deserves a strong start in life, and she takes pride in creating a caring, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where each child can thrive.

    Ms. Alondra is a caring and enthusiastic teacher who loves helping children learn, grow, and reach new milestones. She is currently working toward getting into a medical sonography program and has a passion for learning and personal growth. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys trying new coffee spots, baking sweet treats, and spending time with her family. Some of her favorite things include cats, the color pink, and of course coffee! She looks forward to a year full of learning, laughter, and special moments together.

    Infant Teacher
    Ms Elizabeth was born in San Antonio but grew up in Dallas. She has been in childcare for 2 years and loves working with kids. She loves to teach them and see them grow. She enjoys making the kids and babies feel loved and cared for. It is important for her to have a strong bond with the children and parents because trust is so important when caring for these precious young children. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys baking, dancing and watching shows. She has 3 cats and is very family oriented.

She's patient, attentive, and truly values being someone children can trust and feel comfortable with.

    Ms. Berenice graduated from high school in 2022 and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Social Medical Work. A full-time student and full-time teacher, she enjoys learning and growing both personally and professionally. Berenice loves working with children, watching them develop new skills and reach important milestones. Her time with toddlers has taught her patience, communication, and compassion, and is preparing her for a future career as a medical social worker, supporting children and families with their emotional and developmental needs. She takes pride in being someone children can feel safe, supported, and comfortable around. Outside of work and school, Berenice finds joy in nature—she loves hiking, running, and traveling to places like Colorado and Washington. In her free time, she also enjoys going to the gym and playing her electric guitar. Above all, she is motivated to help others and make a positive impact on children’s lives.

    Ms. Stefaney is a mother of five, raising her family in Garland, Texas. After an 18-year career in sales, marketing, and retail, she made the transition to childcare, where she quickly discovered a deep passion for nurturing young minds and guiding their growth. She understands how vital engagement and strong, trusting relationships are—with both the children and their families. Stefaney truly believes it takes a village to raise a child, and she is honored to be a part of your child’s journey.

    Jordyn
    Infant Teacher
    Ms. Jordyn has worked in childcare professionally since 2021. She is currently in college majoring in animation and will go on to pursue a degree in early childhood education. Formerly a twos and toddler teacher, she made the switch to infants because of her deep love for babies. Jordyn knew she wanted to be a teacher from the time she was in daycare herself at just four years old. With experience in traditional childcare, ABA, Montessori, and babysitting, she brings a rich and varied background to her care. In the future, Jordyn plans to open her own early childhood education center.
