Amanda Light is proud to serve as Director of The Goddard School of Coppell and is excited to lead a community dedicated to high-quality early childhood education. She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education and brings 19 years of experience working with children at every developmental stage. Throughout her career, Amanda has served as a teacher, Education Director, Assistant Director, and Executive Director, both in Kansas and across the DFW area. Amanda is passionate about The Goddard School’s mission and the Wonder of Learning® approach, and she finds great joy in watching children learn, grow, and thrive each day. She is committed to supporting teachers, partnering with families, and fostering a warm, nurturing school culture. Amanda and her husband, Brandon, moved to Texas in 2020 with their daughter, Macey, and she looks forward to many years of continued growth and leadership at The Goddard School of Coppell.

Experience: Over 22 years in Early Childcare Education experience, from the classroom (toddler), worked with children of all ages before stepping into the leadership role of Director of Curriculum and a year later became the Executive Director of a Creme de la Creme Educational Background: Bachelor Of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Modern Languages. Fun information about you: While in College I used to be a clown for children's parties and spent many weekends visiting sick children in hospitals back in Puerto Rico, (my hometown). Outside of work, I love traveling with friends and families, capturing moments through photography. I love dancing whenever the chance comes. My favorite flowers are pink or red ROSES. I am a CHOCOHOLIC. When young I always wanted to become a lawyer to be able to help others. Today I channeled that same passion into advocating for Children and families we serve at Goddard Schools of Coppell

Chandrashekar Laveti ( Shekar ) is honored to bring the highly acclaimed Goddard School to Coppell and the surrounding communities of Valley Ranch, Lewisville and Carrollton. Shekar is a seasoned Goddard franchisee already operating two successful schools in the Tampa area. Shekar graduated with a master’s degree in computer science from MSU and has an MBA from the Wharton Business School. “I am excited to partner with Srini Rupakula and his wife Ana Rupakula on this prestigious project to bring a high-quality, reputed and affordable preschool program to the Coppell community and the surrounding neighborhood”.

Srini Rupakula is a seasoned entrepreneur with a diverse background in both technology and education. Holding a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, Srini has built a successful career as a serial entrepreneur in the software services industry. With a passion for innovation and a focus on customer-centric solutions, he has founded and led several companies to success. In a new chapter of his career, Srini is now running The Goddard School for Early Childhood Development, where he’s leveraging his leadership skills to create a nurturing and educational environment for young children. His blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and commitment to early childhood education reflects his dedication to fostering growth and development, both in business and in the community.

With more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education, Angela proudly serves as Assistant Director at The Goddard School of Coppell. She holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and is extensively trained in Conscious Discipline, a relationship-based approach that supports children’s social-emotional development and complements The Goddard School’s Wonder of Learning® philosophy. Angela is passionate about creating a school culture where children feel safe, valued, and confident to explore the world around them. She believes strong relationships are the foundation for meaningful learning. Angela enjoys partnering with families and works closely with staff to ensure every child’s individual needs are met with care, consistency, and intention. Outside of school, she treasures time with her three children—Samantha, Jacob, and Ryan—and is a devoted dog mom and cat mom.

With more than 3 years of experience in childcare, Ms. Najwa is dedicated to creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to learn. Her caring nature and positive attitude help foster meaningful relationships with children and families while promoting each child’s social, emotional, and developmental growth. In addition to her childcare experience, she is a Certified Medical Esthetician, bringing a strong sense of professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence in all that she does. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking, often experimenting with new recipes as a way to relax and unwind. She also has a passion for creativity and is excited to continue exploring her interests in calligraphy and photography. Her enthusiasm for learning new skills and trying new things brings a creative and energetic spirit to the classroom.

With 20 years of experience as an infant teacher, Stacy is a dedicated member of The Goddard School of Coppell team. She holds a Medical Coding Certification and has extensive training in Early Childhood Education. Passionate about nurturing strong relationships, she supports infants’ development through responsive care, purposeful play, and meaningful interactions aligned with the Wonder of Learning® curriculum. Outside the classroom, she enjoys cooking, baking, and creating natural hair and skincare products.

With three years of experience in early childhood education, Kyra is a dedicated educator at The Goddard School of Coppell. She holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and supports children’s curiosity, confidence, and development through engaging, purposeful play and meaningful interactions. Raised in Texas, her background in soccer and collegiate wrestling inspires teamwork, perseverance, and resilience in the classroom. She also enjoys arts and crafts, often using creativity to enhance children’s learning experiences. Kyra is proud to partner with families at The Goddard School of Coppell to nurture confident, capable learners.

With 3 years of experience in a Montessori school setting, working with children ages 12 to 18 months, Ms. Daisy is passionate about supporting young learners during some of their most important developmental years. She enjoys creating a nurturing, engaging, and child-centered environment where children can build confidence, independence, and a love of learning through exploration and discovery. She holds a High School Diploma and is dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships with children and families while encouraging each child's growth and development. Outside of the classroom, she is the proud mother of two young daughters. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and has a special love for arts and crafts. Her creativity, patience, and caring nature help bring fun, hands-on learning experiences to the children in her care.

With 6 years of experience working with young children, Ms. Tiffany is dedicated to creating a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued and supported. She has a passion for helping children develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning through meaningful experiences and caring relationships. She holds a High School Diploma and is committed to fostering each child’s growth and development through patience, encouragement, and individualized support. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys painting, arts and crafts, rollerblading, reading, and trying new things. Her creativity and enthusiasm shine through in the activities she shares with children, helping to make learning both fun and memorable.

With 4 years of experience at Goddard Schools, Ms. Mya is passionate about creating a fun, engaging, and supportive learning environment where children can explore, discover, and grow. She enjoys helping children develop new skills through hands-on experiences that encourage creativity, curiosity, and confidence. She holds a High School Diploma and is dedicated to providing meaningful learning opportunities that inspire a love of learning in every child. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys painting and anything related to sports. She loves incorporating arts and crafts into activities, especially when they connect to science and hands-on discovery. Her enthusiasm, creativity, and energetic spirit help make learning exciting and memorable for the children in her care. Her favorite color is blue, which reflects her vibrant and positive personality.

Anita is a caring educator at The Goddard School of Coppell with over five years of experience in licensed childcare centers. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Arizona Global Campus and loves forming strong connections with her students. She finds joy in introducing new ideas and celebrating children’s excitement as learning begins to click through purposeful play. Outside the classroom, she enjoys crafting, swimming, going on walks, karaoke with loved ones, and is a big Minions fan.

With 8 years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Kaylie is passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and develop confidence in a nurturing classroom environment. Throughout her career, she has worked with children of all age groups, gaining a well-rounded understanding of each stage of development. While she enjoys working with children of all ages, she has a special place in her heart for two-year-olds and loves supporting their curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth. She has completed college coursework in Early Childhood Education and is dedicated to continuing her professional growth. Outside of the classroom, she is happily married and shares her home with five beloved fur babies, including three cats and two dogs. An animal lover at heart, she also enjoys all things coffee and spending time with her pets. Her warm personality and caring nature help create meaningful connections with both children and families.

With 8 years of experience working with children ages 18 months through preschool and an additional 2 years in Montessori education, Ms. Susan is passionate about fostering a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. She is dedicated to helping children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning while ensuring every child feels valued and supported. She holds a High School Diploma and brings a wealth of experience in early childhood education. Her background in both traditional preschool and Montessori settings allows her to create meaningful learning experiences that encourage growth, exploration, and curiosity. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys creating a fun and loving environment for the children in her care. Her faith is an important part of her life, and she enjoys Bible journaling in her free time. She is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young children and helping them reach their fullest potential.

With 4 years of experience in a licensed childcare facility, Meliah is dedicated to creating a positive, nurturing, and engaging environment where children feel encouraged to learn, explore, and grow. She is passionate about building strong relationships with children and families while supporting each child's development through meaningful learning experiences. She holds a High School Diploma and brings enthusiasm, patience, and a caring approach to the classroom. Outside of work, she is an animal lover and enjoys spending time with pets whenever she can. Having moved frequently throughout her childhood, she developed adaptability, resilience, and an appreciation for meeting new people and experiencing different communities. She also played soccer for 11 years, which taught her the value of teamwork, dedication, and perseverance. These qualities continue to influence her positive and energetic approach to working with children every day.

Ms. Giselle brings over eight years of experience in early childhood education to The Goddard School of Coppell, with a special focus on teaching twos. She is currently pursuing her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and was inspired to become an educator through growing up in a large, child-centered family. She supports children’s growth through nurturing relationships and purposeful play aligned with the Wonder of Learning® curriculum. Ms. Giselle enjoys crafting, baking, Disney favorites like Dumbo and The Little Mermaid, and is a proud dog mom.

With 3 years of experience in childcare, Ms. Lizeht is passionate about creating a caring, supportive, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and develop confidence. She enjoys helping children reach important milestones and strives to make every day a positive and meaningful experience for the families she serves. She holds a High School Diploma and is dedicated to nurturing each child's social, emotional, and academic development through patience, encouragement, and individualized care. Outside of the classroom, she is the youngest of five siblings and a proud dog mom to four beloved pets. She also owns a small flower business, where she enjoys expressing her creativity and sharing the beauty of flowers with others. Her favorite color is pink, which reflects her bright, cheerful personality and positive outlook. Her caring nature, creativity, and enthusiasm make her a valued member of the school community.

With more than 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, Ms. Alexis brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and dedication to supporting young learners and their families. She is committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where children can thrive and build a lifelong love of learning. She holds a High School Diploma, a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, and a Director’s Certification, providing a strong foundation in early childhood development, curriculum implementation, and program leadership. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, being in the water, traveling to new places, and cooking for family and friends. Her passion for exploration and creativity helps inspire meaningful experiences for the children in her care.

With 30 years of experience in licensed childcare facilities, Ms. Rachel brings a wealth of knowledge, dedication, and compassion to early childhood education. She is committed to creating a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Her decades of experience have allowed her to build strong relationships with children and families while fostering a love of learning in every classroom. She holds a High School Diploma and is passionate about providing high-quality care and meaningful learning experiences. Outside of work, she has been happily married for 38 years and is the proud mother of three adult children and grandmother of two grandchildren. She enjoys attending estate sales and spending quality time with her grandchildren. A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, she brings enthusiasm, warmth, and a positive spirit to everything she does, both in and out of the classroom.

Dionne brings over 25 years of experience in education to The Goddard School of Coppell, with a background in special education, dual language, Head Start, kindergarten, and preschool. She truly enjoys supporting each child’s growth through nurturing relationships and purposeful play aligned with the Wonder of Learning® curriculum. A proud mother and grandmother—and dog mom to a 14-year-old Yorkie—she loves the beach, exploring new places, and trying new things.

Chandana is a passionate educator at The Goddard School of Coppell with over three years of experience working with young children of all ages. She holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and a bachelor’s degree in Hindi and previously worked in elementary education. She loves being part of each child’s learning journey, supporting their growth through nurturing relationships and purposeful play aligned with the Wonder of Learning® curriculum. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

With 11 years of experience in early childhood education, Arlene is a dedicated educator at The Goddard School of Coppell. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and English and has experience supporting children with Dyslexia, with a strong focus on language development. Through nurturing relationships and purposeful play, she supports each child’s unique learning journey in alignment with the Wonder of Learning® curriculum. She is a proud mother of two boys, a dog lover, and enjoys baking and painting

With 3 years of experience in early childhood education, Ms. Mimi is passionate about helping young children learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing and supportive environment. She is dedicated to building positive relationships with children and families while creating engaging learning experiences that foster confidence, creativity, and a love of learning.
