Letty Gomar is the Owner of The Goddard School of Allen (West). She has lived in the Dallas area since 2008 with her husband of 20 years and three children. Letty has lived most of her life in Texas and considers it her home. She is excited to be part of the Allen community. Letty earned her Masters in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University with a focus in marketing and management. She also holds a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She has spent the last 18 years in engineering consulting and project management helping communities in Texas, Illinois, and Michigan to improve quality of life for future generations. Letty's passion for children started with her twin daughters. Seeing them grow, learn, and become independent, confident young women has been an amazing journey. She found ways to volunteer her time to promote engineering in schools and encourage children to learn about water. The Gomar Family supports community organizations and has been involved in philanthropy, especially focused in children and education.

Ms. Angela is our Director. She has a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education and has been involved in teaching and school management for over 30 years. She started her career teaching Preschool to 2nd Grade. Then, she moved on to teaching IT skills to students of all ages, when computers were first introduced to schools. From there, she moved into Boarding House management at two prestigious private schools for girls. Now, for the last four years, she has returned to the age group that she loves the most, early childhood. She feels that children have an inner joy that is contagious. Being able to help them learn and grow is very rewarding. Originally from South Africa, Ms. Angela has two adult sons, as well as three adult stepchildren and three grandchildren. She enjoys reading, gardening, needlework, and spending time with her family.

Ms. Yve is originally from Venezuela and she lived in Nebraska for the last 20 years. She studied ESL and International studies at Bellevue University in Nebraska. She has 6 years as a teacher in preschool and elementary schools teaching Spanish. She also was a volunteer child minder at the Latinas Resources Center which supported the local community. She believes that the teacher should teach the child to have active engagement in the learning process, which will develop their social and emotional function as well as teaching them how to become responsible citizens. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, walking, and reading a good book.

Ms. Shari is our Lead Teacher in our Infants classroom and Team Lead for Infants/Toddlers. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and recently obtained a Child Development Associate, specializing in Infants and Toddlers. “It takes a big heart to help shape little minds.” Originally from Long Island, NY, she has worked in early childhood development for the past 8 years. She loves being part of each infant’s first school experience, watching them grow and explore the world around them. She believes that the most important thing a teacher can do is be patient and compassionate. She has 4 children of her own and 2 English bulldogs. In her spare time, she attends the Allen Eagles football games.

Ms. Rachel is our Assistant Teacher. She is working towards her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at Collin College. She loves watching children grow stronger and get excited as they learn new things. It warms her heart to receive a hug from a child. She is an Allen resident and graduated from Allen High School (Go Eagles)! She is originally from Pennsylvania and enjoys spending time with her family, reading books, and playing with her dogs.

Ms. Nidhal graduated from the College of Science in Biochemistry. She has 15 years of teaching experience in teaching. Originally from Iraq, her teaching philosophy is that children are angels on earth. She wants to take care of them and teach them the right way, because they are our future. In her free time, she enjoys teaching, cooking, traveling, and experiencing new things.

Ms. Imen is our Lead Teacher. She has a bachelor’s degree in Economic Management and a master’s degree in Social Studies. She has nine years of customer service experience and has been working with children for two years as a teacher. As an educator, she believes that each child is an individual. She values and develops each child’s strengths, interests, skills, abilities, and knowledge to extend their learning. Teaching children is her passion, and she feels it is a noble career which allows her to live with the love and innocence of children. Originally from Tunisia, she currently lives in Melissa Texas. Her hobbies include reading books and playing with her twins. She loves traveling and discovering new cities and places around the world.

Ms. Jocelyn has her associate degree in early childhood. She is currently working on her bachelor’s degree in psychology. She has 6 years of experience working with children from infants to school – age. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia and came to Texas when she was young. Her teaching philosophy is to create a safe environment where students can learn, do activities, and collaborate with their peers. Watching them achieve, grow, and connect is very rewarding. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Ms. Shaunte is our Lead Toddler Teacher. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and has worked in childcare for over ten years. Her teaching philosophy is to help children discover new fun ways to learn. Getting on their level helps her understand what their interests are and what they do and don’t like to do. She wants to teach them to love reading and she feels children are unique and precious. In her free time, she enjoys reading, books, crocheting and watching movies. She loves horror movies as well as history as it is fascinating learning about the past.

Ms. Caitlin is our Lead Teacher. She has a Bachelor's Degree in child development and has 10 years of experience in early childhood education. For her, the most important part of teaching is creating a safe and loving environment. She loves watching children learn and develop in the early childhood years. She graduated from Allen High School. She likes to read and watch sports, especially the NBA, in her spare time.

Ms. Samantha is from Allen and did her schooling here. She has one and a half years’ experience in childcare. She believes that teachers should be a good example for children and should bring them peace and happiness. In her free time, she enjoys baking and painting.

Ms. Ashley is a Certified Pharmacy Technician and is working towards a Nursing degree. She would like to work in the labor and delivery ward or in pediatrics. She worked with a child with special needs for 3 years while in high school. She is originally from Vancouver, Washington but moved to Allen, 10 years ago. She graduated from Allen High School and spent 5 years studying nursing at Stephen F. Austin State University. She believes that all children are curious about their environment and love to learn if learning is fun and engaging. Children are very pure and will tell you everything that they are thinking. In her free time, she loves to read and watch movies. She enjoys spending time with her dog Lacy and listening to music.

Ms. Andrea is our Assistant Teacher. She has an Associates degree in Psychology and has been working in early childhood for over a year. She is currently taking classes at University of North Texas. She wants children to be themselves to open up doors to their imagination and curiosity. She loves seeing children learn. Originally from Dallas, she loves to paint and listen to music in her spare time.

Ms. Malyn comes from the Philippines, and she graduated from the University of the East. She believes that children should not only learn academic lessons but life lessons as well to make them resilient and strong to prepare them for life. She loves watching children grow and reach their milestones. She feels it is our role to teach the next generation.

Ms. Shereen has two years’ childcare experience. She is originally from Egypt and now lives in Wylie Texas. She enjoys discovering new ways to make children happy. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, painting, and making handmade decorations.

Ms. Karla has a GED and has 1 year in Child Care experience. She comes from Monterrey in Mexico. She went to Richland College to do her GED and continued her education at Aveda Institute. Her teaching philosophy is to teach with love and patience. She enjoys watching the children growing and seeing their personalities develop. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Ms. Alondra is our Assistant Teacher and has three years of childcare experience. She is from Dallas Texas and currently attends Texas A+M – Commerce. She believes all children have brilliant minds and they teach the teachers new things every day. She loves to watch them grow into their own people and to be part of that experience. In her free time, she enjoys shopping and going to fairs and Six Flags.

Ms. Mariam has three years of childcare experience. Originally from Egypt, and now lives in Allen. She loves to discover new ways to make children happy. Children are like angels. In her free time she enjoys playing with her cats and she enjoys songs.

Ms Alexandra has 2 and a half years of childcare experience. Her teaching philosophy is to treat and love each child as your own. She loves children because she sees them as happiness and loves watching them and grow into the best person possible. In her free time, she loves shopping, decorating, reading, listening to music, and having fun days with her daughter.
